I came across this repair shop because my laptop’s battery gave up after 1 year or so of needing a replacement. I was so worried that all my documents and information was going to be wiped but Scott went above and beyond to repair my laptop. He was able to save my documents and information and replace the battery along with other repairs. I am so glad I came across this shop. He was very transparent and I appreciate the fact that he called and told me all the things he needed to do before going forth with it. He gave estimates of how much all of the repairs would cost plus service fees and they were all reasonable prices. If I ever have any tech problems again, I definitely know where to go. Thank you Scott!

I wish I was able to give Computer Runner more than 5 stars, My laptop screen was damaged and of course didn’t know about this great repair shop, so first I took it to Best Buy, the price at Best Buy was about twice as this place with 3 weeks of wait time, then took it to MicroCenter and it was even worse, someone suggested to take it to a local shop and I found this place online and I’m glad I did. The quote for repair was really good plus wait time was about a few days. As a supporter of small businesses, I will always use their services from now on. I have talked to Scott and another gentleman, they are super nice and friendly and very patient. I recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thank you so much guys at Computer Runner. :)

Disappointed with the price.Came in for a SSD install and transfer. They gave a rough estimate over the phone that was at a reasonable price. The process was polite and professional.Dropping off my PC they called back update on the service, and quoted a significantly higher price range, with no definite answer on the final cost.The next day I come in to pick up the PC, I was invoiced for the highest possible price they quoted. While I understand the hesitance to offer a definitive quote until the work is done. It just doesnt feel good to not know the price the whole time a service is done. I have dealt with other PC repair service companies that were way more upfront and Im happy to pay in the beginning.EDIT: Received a call back from the business. They listened to my pricing concerns when it came to setting expectations and answered all my questions when it came to my gaming PC. They really care about customer satisfaction, and the quality of their work shows. Changing this review from a 3 star to a 5 star.

Great communication and clarity. Scott was helpful throughout getting my battery and SSD replaced on my razer laptop. Allowed me to pick up parts and bring them in instead of waiting on shipping because I was in a hurry to get it back. If you ever find yourself in line at the Micro center help bar, just drive 2 min over to these guys and theyll get you situated. Will return if anything else is needed.

I have used Computer Runner twice this year and they have been great. First time was to transfer data from some old hard drives that I could not access. Second time was my kids gaming PC bombed out - windows wouldn’t load. They work quickly, they explain in layman’s terms what the issues are, and took the time to discuss with my 12-year old what he should and shouldn’t be doing in order to maintain the health of his PC. All at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend. If you’ve got a tech issue, don’t hesitate - drive over and walk right in to this place!

Exceptional service and price. The hinges on my laptop were broken and the computer was unable to close. I called several computer repair shops, including 2 big box stores. Sam and his staff do not make you feel like a number. They take personal care and pride in their service.I received my laptop today in good as new condition, on time and for the price quoted. The price was below ALL 7 other quotes I received and the work was impeccable. Support this business. We need a place like this calls you by name and treats you with respect.

These guys are awesome. My laptop was not working at all after I had dropped it, I took it somewhere else and they asked $40 only for inspection. These guys didnt ask anything for inspecting and after diagnosis they called and explained the problem in details and asked me whether I wanted them to repair it or wanted it back.The great thing about them they fix the problem on components level and dont go for motherboard change immediately.The bill was very reasonable, happy to had their services.

Fast, competent, friendly, communicative, and a good price!! Brought in my PC in the morning with a failing water cooling pump, and it was ready in the afternoon, new pump, cleaned interior, and quieter then when I first bought it! I was referred to Computer Runner by my Dad, who has been using them for many, many years and hes always been very happy.They saved me with a motherboard issue on my stepsons gaming PC, getting it working the same day I brought it in so that he wouldnt have to spend a weekend without his computer!They also helped with a complicated Dell RAID issue - Im pretty technical and took it pretty far with no success. They took care of it quickly and easily.They are very nice people, and should be more expensive for the quality they provide - form a relationship with them now before they realize that!Scott

My Lenovo laptop that was less than 1 year old stopped working (loop of Microsoft blue screens of death) and these guys were able to recover all my data from it. It took days of effort to do it but they charged me the originally quoted amount that was very reasonable especially when compared to other places like Best Buy.I would highly recommend their services. Data recovery is not cheap but their pricing is good and they seem like honest, hard working people the really value their customers.

10/10! They repaired the device that Im using to write this review. My laptop was completely dead. I initially took my laptop to Geek Squad, but they wanted to charge me $360 at the least to replace my motherboard. Computer Runner was able to repair the motherboard with parts they already had in stock--and gave me a discount! I ended up paying just over $100. The customer service is exceptional. If you have any hardware or software issues at all, I definitely recommend Computer Runner.

My overall experience was great! Im not a computer expert, so I cant really say whether the service I was charged with was at a fair price. Nevertheless, everything else was great: customer service, repair, and flexibility. Id recommend this place to anybody. Tip: it will be even more helpful if you know more about your computer issues going in.

5 stars. Sam and his staff (including Scott who is normally at the front desk) are amazing. I am fairly technical myself but was having a rather complex issue with a laptop that I had dropped. I gave up and brought it into Sam and his team and they worked tireless to find different solutions to the problem. In the end the fix was bigger than the problem (new motherboard) so I decided to just leave it as is, but I appreciate the time they put into it and all of the smart options for repair. I will definitely be bringing more problematic equipment by them when things come up.

Amazing service and prices. I took my desktop in expecting the worst and Sam made the experience a positive one. He and his team had to do a ton of stuff to get it working, including taking it apart multiple times to find the problem. I though it would cost a ton of money but he was extremely fair. He even icluded windows 7 for free. I would recommend him to anyone with computer problems. Amazing quality service. 5 stars. I would give him 50 if it was possible.

This place is excellent. Sam, the owner, really knows great customer service and shows that he cares about you. I was having issues building a new computer so I gave them a call. They took me in right away, and stayed a whole hour past closing on a Friday night to work on my computer.I ended up leaving the computer over the weekend to get some extra work done. At the end of all of this, my computer was working excellent and the price was unbelievable.

Computer Runner is the best. Sam and his staff restored a friends HP laptop back to its original configuration after she was locked out by not knowing her password.This may not sound like much, but previous attempts by Technicians at both Best Buy and Staples failed to achieve any success.If you want great customer service and fair prices, Sam and his team wont disappoint.

I got tricked by a Microsoft Technician who infected my PC with Ransomware. Fortunately for me after calling several computer service companies, I reach Scott Proctor of Computer Runner who said that he thought that he could solve my problem. He did just as he said! He was able to download all by data files elsewhere, and then scrub the Ransomware out of my hard drive. Then he loaded my data files back into my PC. I lost most of my programs, but Microsoft 10 and Microsoft Office were all there. I am so grateful for Scott Proctor and Sam Azadian for having the knowhow and fortitude to tackle this real problem for me. They saved all my data files Word, Excel, Power Point, PDF, Pictures, Income Tax Returns, and several others. As I said, other computer service companies that I talked with would only scrub my hard drive to where I would lose years of accumulated files. What a Relief! Thanks Scott and Sam

Exceptional customer service. I followed all standard procedures and scoured the internet to pinpoint the problem. After doing so, there was still a problem. I brought my desktop to Sam and his technician identified the problem had to do with my motherboard and graphics card. It was repaired the very next day and I am now able to carry on with my endeavors.

They went above and beyond to make sure my computer was in perfect condition after a liquid cooling system failure resulting in leaked fluid on my motherboard and into my graphics card. They replaced my cooling system and did a thorough clean and repair of damaged components.
