The Computer Link staff has been knowledgeable, efficient, and very courteous to me on both occasions when I needed their technical assistance. Most recently, they handled a complicated issue with my iPhone. Thank goodness for a wonderful company of professionals in town who are certified to address Apple and MacBook Pro issues. I appreciated the professional and prompt handling of the technical equipment concerns I took to them. I highly recommend Computer Link.

Computer link responded immediately to my need for assistance when I arrived with my device alittle over a week ago. They told me what the problem was on the spot and that it needed to be further assessed and taken care of asap otherwise futher damages could occur and the device could be irreparable. The quote was more than reasonable and far less than the other places I called and the turnaround time was expeditious. I would highly recommend their service hands 🙌🏽 down. Tony the owner is personable, professional and true to his word.

ComputerLink is Apple-Certified and fixed my broken MacBook Screen. Their prices beat out other shops and I didn’t have to worry about them installing a generic screen. I asked if they could get it fixed before the weekend and they went out of their way to fix it up for me. I had my computer back within 2 days. They will definitely be my go-to for repairs!!

I left my pc with them for a month and a half and i checked in every week to see if it was ready and they said it still has problems and i just requested to come pick it up and try to fix it myself. 1 hour after i picked it up i fixed it and it’s now working but they still charged me $150 for labor. even though over a month and half they didn’t fix it whatsoever.

Went to Best buy for my iphone that has the back camera lens broken, informed me that I have to pay $29 to have it fixed but i have to leave my phone with them until the parts arrive. Thats not gonna happen! Then they advised me to go to Computer link by Pacific because they are also Apple accredited shop that my Apple care will be accepted. Went there Tues morning, they run the test and informed me that my phone will be replaced in 2-3 days and that I dont need to leave my phone with them. The next day around my lunch break they called me and told me they have my phone replacement delivered. Went there, transfered everything in less than an hr I was out there. They really did a good job in handling my issues. Strongly recommend Computer link! Thank you to both gentlemen who assisted me.

In a recent trip, my Macbook Pro wouldnt charge at all until it went dead. I really needed my laptop. I went to the Apple store in Modesto, CA with a Genius Bar appointment. They ran a lot of diagnostics and said they needed to send my computer to an Apple Service Center - that would take at least 3-5 business days. This would have been terrible for me as I need the laptop for multiple ongoing projects. I then took the same laptop to Computer Link and within two hours it was working just fine. I am typing this from the same laptop - no problems. There was no loss of content and all is well. The cost was very reasonable too. I could not be happier. Computer Link is just outstanding - and substantially better than Apples Genius Bar!

Be careful a few years ago the owner Stole my computer, he took all of my information and loaded it on an old computer that didnt even look like my computer, put all the certificates from my newer computer on the old computer and had the nerve to charge me for stealing my new computer. The last photo is what my real computer looked like. This happened a few years ago but I still have the box my computer came in. Just be careful of this guy.

Both Best Buy and the Apple Store recommended this place to me. It saved me a ton of money! I had to purchase a new laptop from Costco because mine stopped working. Tony fixed my laptop at a reasonable price and had it back to me within 24 hours! I was able to return the new laptop from Costco, and get my $1500 back. After experiencing some major financial hardships this last year, I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for this place!

Theyve been around for nearly 30 years under the same ownership.Sometimes dealing with Apple directly can be difficult, let these guys handle it for you. They have been servicing Apple products since they opened up and are experienced in getting your device back in your hands in a reasonable amount of time without having to drive to Modesto or Sacramento.I like the ease of buying for my job, we can call in and have just about anything tech related in a matter of days. If we need a repair, it is just as simple.

I needed a new computer and was unsure of the technical specs of a hard drive. I made a list of the software I use for my trade, took it to Tony Wilson and he took the time to research the best computer for my needs, I picked up the computer, it had been tested and was in perfect condition, and ready for work. I was on vacation, and I broker the screen on my mac book pro laptop, which I work off of. I called Apple and they referred me to Computer Link, for a verification of the problem. Tony was very helpful, got me in right away, and looked at the screen, helped my replace my windows so I could continue working, while away, until I got home to get it replaced. I am impressed with the level of service as a certified Apple dealer. My software upgrade was corrupted and unable to sign into WiFi. I was forced to take the machine in per Apple Support. AS neglected to tell me the offsite dealer would NOT get paid to fix a software issue, only hardware (per my AppleCare). So he would have been forced to fix my machine for FREE if I insisted. We settled on half the fee (a mere $35) so I wouldnt have to drive 45 min to the Apple Store and wait who knows how long!! It took many hours after wiping my machine but I paid him more than we agreed. SHAME on Apple for driving down the small businesses!! Tony was knowledgable and very fair!!

Although the store is listed as an Apple store, the customer service is not reflective of a true Apple location. Unfortunately, my son was told, I dont care what the Apple representative told you over the phone, we dont have to honor what they said. Its our choice. This store should not be associated with Apple if they are not going to abide by Apples policies.

When my 2011 MacBook Pro was running extremely slow, this was the first place that I found and decided to take it to. The customer service was top-notch and the owner was very transparent, especially with the warranty coverage. They upgraded my hard-drive and successfully transferred ALL of my pictures and files within a couple of days. I brought my laptop in because of a damaged screen on a Thursday. The part was ordered that day, and I was able to take my laptop with me to continue working until the part arrived. When it arrived on Tuesday, I brought my laptop in. It only took them about 2 hours to complete the repair. Amazing customer service and my screen looks great.

I dropped my MacBook off Friday it wasn’t charging or powering on and my usb ports had all died I paid for a rush or priority diagnostic I get a call Tuesday (today) saying they replaced something it didn’t fix it next they could do was replace something else would cost over $400 and needed a new keyboard (even tho some keys were missing I didn’t ask them to fix it) before I could respond he tells me it’s too much money to spend on a laptop from 2016 and I can come pick it up and just pay the diagnostic fee ($105) with no repairs done I asked if they could transfer the data from that laptop and put it on another working MacBook I have at home they said yes it would cost $1000…. I went picked up my laptop and immediately took it to another repair shop that move my data from that computer to my working computer for $125. And swapped out one USB port because that’s all they had on hand at the moment and my laptop charges just fine and it cost me $50. For the replacement usb port. I paid $105 and these ppl couldn’t even figure out all I needed was usb port replacement??? 5 days compared to cheaper same day service elsewhere no thank you I’ll stay far away from this place

If I could give zero stars I would, this place is truly nothing but a scam. I dropped off my MacBook 3 almost 4 weeks ago. I was told they’d call later that day, or the next day with a diagnosis. They never called, we had to call them and was told they were “still looking at” and “ordering the part” and they’d call the next day. It went back and forth like this for almost a week before somebody else picked up and told me they hadn’t even begun looking at it and he’ll get to it in a few days…they finally call back and tell me what they believe is wrong with it, and they can’t fix it so they’ll sent it to Apple. We were told it was $80 + 20 to ship. We said okay they said they’d ship it, and we could pick it up in a week. A week and half goes by, we call to check the status, it was sitting in the shop still. My MacBook sat in their shop for 3.5 weeks. Before they told me we had to pay upfront, we had been told we could pay when we picked it up. We go to pay for it and they said it’ll be $800 to ship the Mac. We picked it up and have decided to go straight to Apple, however they lost my laptop in the back and took 20 minutes to find it. This whole experience has been a nighmare, from the lying to the misplacing my very expensive laptop that I trusted them with. Save yourself a headache and avoid this place.

My Macbook screen stopped working and after contacting Apple, it was eligible for a warranty repair. They recommended Compulink since it was close to my home. They did a great job and were able to fix the problem and have my computer back to me in 3 days. Tony was super helpful and kept me updated about the repair status. This place saved my life. I work at home for the state and in the middle of a morning ZOOM I spilled my tea all over my Mac. They took it let me know none of the drying methods i saw online would work, and got my mistake off to AppleCare. This place is a huge rip off, I gave them my MacBook Pro on a Tuesday because my KEYBOARD wasn’t working and I just wanted them to replace it and all and they say they were gonna give me a call the following Friday or next Monday. It’s been 4 weeks just to tell me that it would cost $400 to replace the keyboard with a battery AND a new top on top of that with a $60 scan. And even if I don’t want to get it fixed I’m still charged $60 out the door. If you live in Stockton and need your electronics fixed DO NOT COME HERE.

I had a very good experience here. Didnt know what to expect since Ive never really had any computers or laptops repaired. Ive always had my electronics repaired by the manufacturer under warranty. But rather than drive to the nearest apple store, i came to computer link which was recommended to me by an apple care advisor. So I went and Tony the gentleman who assisted me was very friendly and helpful. He asked a few questions and checked my macbook air right in. Dropped it off Saturday, he told me diagnostics would be run on Monday and laptop would be ready Tuesday. Surely enough his words were true. Laptop was repaired around noon. Overall great first experience, would recommend to others. Laptop was in same condition as i dropped it off in.

Sometimes they can have a lot of workload but rest assured that they will get you back up and running with confidence! I dont buy in with the poor reviews because that is not the case! With part ordering etc, especially with the Covid pandemic has put suppliers in great demand and things can take longer. This is no reflection on their quality of service and dedication to the customer. I highly recommend them to anyone!

I had taken in my 2020 MacBook Pro because at first, half of my screen turn black and then went fully black a day later. I was originally quoted $670.00 as a worst scenario for the screen repair, labor, and for possible damage under the screen. The repairs were done in less then week and to my surprise free. The individual who assisted me explain that apple offered a type of warranty that covered the cost for which I was extremely greatly for as I am a college student with not much money to spear.

They are great they can be used for Apple Warranty. I call Apple to have my computer fix that’s either under warranty or recall. Apple try’s to have me drive to Sacramento or Modesto which sucks with Traffic no matter which way I go. I know about computer Link from along time ago. I asked Apple are you going to pay for my time to drive to Sac or Modesto and or give me gas they all ways say no. I went to this place to repair my MacBook Pro. They forgot to put the screws back in the bottom of my laptop. Then when I signed on they had put a password on the computer. So I am not able sign onto the laptop. After paying them to replace the hard drive because it had crashed on me. Doesn’t seem right the a right way to do business. I love to support small businesses especially during this time, but this is a business I will never support again.Took my office computer in on the 16th, was told that it would take a few days to look at and start repair. It has now been 2 weeks waiting. I had to cal them and speak to someone myself for them to remember to diagnose my computer on the 20th. 3-5 more business days they spoke of. Cool, that’s not fine since it is my only work computer, but whatever.27th I was called and spoke to disrespectfully. I have been waiting for my computer for two weeks now and they said the next part will come in Saturday due to their order not shipping completely. I asked for some discount because I was waiting yet again another week. The person on the phone stated that they are not giving discounts and should be charging me more instead. I said that’s not right because it’s not my fault their part warehouse didn’t send the part. After a back and forth I got annoyed because he was disrespectful and incompetent. He threatened to just stop the repair and cancel the part. I will be getting my computer and going somewhere else from here on out.

I asked if they could hold the battery and they said they could but that it would count against their scores. First of all, I have been using computer link for some time and have had no issues until recently. My daughters tablet would no longer hold a charge so we took it in to the computer link staff to have it repaired.A few days later we checked in with computer link as to the status of the repair. We were told the battery was no good and needed to be replaced. We were told on two occasions the new battery they obtained was also bad. One month later with numerous promises to provide an update as to what was happening, we got my daughters tablet back. I was a little irritated but understood it may have taken them extra extra long to obtain a new battery. I can get one from amazon in three days free shipping but, whatever. I probably should have fixed it myself! Moving on, the tablet now holds a charge, mission accomplished. Not so fast...My daughter told me her tablet wont connect to the internet. After examining the tablet the 64gb sd card was missing! Still not the end of the world. My wife called them up and they said they would look for it and call us back the next monday. No phone call, which seems to be a common practice for the staff at computer link. My wife called them, they claimed they had no idea where it was and refused to replace it. Quite a waste of time and money followed by copious ammounts of frustration. I will NEVER USE COMPUTER LINK again.

A rip off. My computer wasnt charging anymore and thus I sent it to them to give me a diagnostic check and to fix it. The man said there was nothing wrong with the laptop, and still charged me 60+ dollars for a simple diagnostic test. There are plenty of places in town that will do a diagnostic test for free. Repairs on laptop were supposed to take 2 days. Took 2 weeks.No communication, no estimate.Got the laptop home finally only to discover that the DVD player no longer works and one of the USB ports is ruined.Oh, forgot to mention, they lost my power cord and had to give me a new one.

So far the tech been called out sick since friday and I again today after telling me they were already looking at it, to me this is very shady. I dont like being lied too, so far my patience has been tested, if I cant get a response by tomorrow, I am just going to get my laptop back.

These guys gave my 27 iMac (which was 6 years old) an upgrade to a 4 GB SSD (Solid State Drive) and increased my RAM to 24GB! $850 bucks saved me from spending $4,500 on a comparable new imac. This beautiful machine should last me another 3 years. Excellent.

Bought my laptop to get fixed. It was stuck in hp bios update mode. I took over to CL the next day my laptop was fixed and it only cost 90 bucks. Im going to drop off my other smaller HP today.
