2024-06-15 23:03:17This place was a magical experience! Its next to the Google buildings so theyll ask if you work there and I assume you get a discount?Im an educator so I got a discount, The regular price is $19.50 and I got in for $15!The overall level of expertise the tour guides had and the depth of information provided in the guided tours was incredible!I got lucky and one of the guests was an original user of some of these computers! The museum takes you through the adventures of primitive mechanical computer to its current digital age!I wish they had some more cool 90s and 80s show casing for microsoft, and old school apple but this was more of a hardware museum than software!Still a great value and great time! Ended up spending 2 hours here!

2024-05-26 04:11:57The live demonstrations make this museum come to life and it is a must to do them. Make sure to check on their website that your visiting day is a demonstration day or you will miss out! It’s cool to see nostalgic tech from when we were little and learn about older tech from docents that grew up using them. It’s a great way to connect the younger and older generations and learn from one another.

2024-04-21 00:36:16Impressive museum with really important history for the computer science evolution. Some days they have a demonstration of the IBM 1401 computer, the first commercial model to achieve more than 10k sales units. It’s possible to see it working and printing a card. Also, there is a ENIAC over there. A lot of history and interactions. If you are a computer lover, you should visit.

2024-06-02 14:19:58A wonderful, well organized museum which traces computer development from the abacus, through the era of punch cards, to the Internet. In addition to thousands of static artifacts, they also have fully restored and running PDP-1 and IBM 1401 computers.

2024-01-15 19:45:38Anyone that is interested in technology and in the area should make the time to visit this museum. You probably need 3-4 hours if you like to read everything, and about 2 if you go through the museum and read only what youre interested in.We joined a tour that lasted one hour and our tour guide did an exceptional presentation highlighting the most significant developments in computer history (the 1st computer, the first electronic computer, the SAGE project, the first programmable chip).

2024-05-17 11:57:07Amazing place, great volunteers. Everything from analog computing (2000 years ago) to gaming to music to industrial design. For anyone who wants to see how things work and what’s inside all the tech used every day. Sales, marketing and design as well as tech in society. Video interviews with many key people that are never mentioned elsewhere. Tours and live demos eg of IBM 1401. :). First “mobile computing” (bicycle ridden on road trips which carried a laptop and had a tow behind trailer), game design, PalmPilot back to wooden prototype.
