Great collective of all types of games and systems. We had our SNES restored and it works great. We had a common auxiliary post damage, that when I bought the piece online considered fixing myself. Granted I didn’t have to go through the trouble as the Computer Booter guys are there and equipped I gave them a try. Was worth the experience! I will say they are honest and fair about pricing whereas competitors in the area are less friendly and more expensive. Thanks Computer Booters!

Computer Booter is awesome. Staff is really helpful they know their stuff everything from repairs to recommendations. They have a great selection of games old and new if you’re a gamer in Sacramento you gotta check them out.

Great service! I blew a fuse on my Gameboy Micro by trying to change out the battery. I sent it over to Computer Booter and David was able to fix it. I’m so happy that I’m able to use my gameboy again. Would definitely do business with Computer Booter again and recommend them to anyone. Thank you again!

I am very pleased with my experience with everyone at the shop. They were very friendly and transparent about prices. I came in because I messed up my Xbox 360 after trying to update the NAND to get an avatar update, my console wouldnt turn on. The rate for the repair was very reasonable!Id definitely come back again if I need to! I highly recommend them for console repairs.

I own a CECHA01 PS3 (backwards compatible) and I started to get graphical glitches on gameplay. Looking on Reddit I saw someone mention Computer Booter and that he could fix it by performing a process called Frankenstein. What that does is remove the less reliable 90nm rsx that the first PlayStation 3 came with and replaced it with a 40nm one that are much more reliable. I made an inquiry on the website and Booter (David Rainer, owner) replied and Said that he could help and to send it in. One of the coolest parts about this process is that Computer Booters live streams all his work. I was able to watch while my PS3 was being worked on. This is one of the coolest experiences Ive had getting work done on for one of my consoles. Not only did he fix it but was able to answer any questions I had via chat on his live stream or direct messages via discord and email. 10 out of 10 this guy is awesome and gives the best service.I will be sending in more consoles for refurbishing and modding as his technical skills go way past just PS3. Highly recommend checking this guy out!

Really awesome local store great selection. Some of the console prices are a bit high but no where near outrageous and the games seemed very reasonably priced. I plan on coming back in the future!

This place is awesome! Brought in my xbox 360 to have the disc drive fixed and David had it ready for me the same day! My old 360 is now running like a champ! Staff is super cool and they have a great selection of retro games, consoles and accessories as well as new stuff. Thank you for the outstanding service!

I tried to get a PS5 controller repaired there, it worked normally afterwards but after a week the original issue returned. I brought it back under their warranty and it was repaired again, only the problem returned and was even worse than before only 2 days after normal usage. They refused to repair it or look at it even though I was still within the original warranty window. I had to buy a new controller to resolve the issue. Cant recommend
