I had a minor issue with a docking station and the service here was excellent. Comp-Pros advised me it would be less expensive to NOT use their service and they took the time to show me where to go to fix my issue. I wish more businesses had this level of fast, direct and honest service.

Yesterday I was looking for them and I didn’t know they were moved. But the thing is I called them three times during the day and nobody answered, even in the other line (IT Services) after I was tired of looking and nobody answered that line either…very bad experience. They were good before, I don’t know what happened.

When I first started getting familiar with computers I did a lot of messy things to my computer. I looked around for a business that could help me fix the errors I created. I decided on Comp Pros and was so happy with my choice. Comp Pros was a wonderful experience as well as affordable. They helped me all the way through the repair, it took him two days of continuous work but he did it without complaint. I have gone back since the first time which was in 2010. I was having some issues with Google and how to use some of its features. Andre was so helpful and really took the time to explain everything to me. Also he even helped me with my new phone.My computer was very old, and I bought a newer computer from Comp-Pros. Update: Reducing stars after last service. I needed a battery replacement for a Macbook, so after a couple weeks waiting for their order, I dropped off the Macbook. It was returned to me with a loose battery inside that would slosh around. I asked for this to be fixed, which they said theyd do free of charge with a new battery. It was also smudged/dirty/greasy when returned.Once the battery replacement arrived, I was emailed/called incessantly to come back by. I dropped it off, and they said theyd notify me as soon as it was ready (because they knew I was standing by), so I waited nearby. After not hearing from them from longer than the expected time, I went inside, and it was ready to go. They didnt notify me, so I was just waiting wasting time.Anyway, I left with the Macbook, and as soon as I got home, opened it up, and there was a new sound of something moving around inside! But it only happened if the laptop was open, so it was a mistake not checking at the store. I told them I was disappointed with the service and sent them a video of the issue immediately, and they responded that theyd be willing to fix it for free.They also assured me I could get a receipt for the battery installed, so I could verify the battery Im purchasing. But they did not provide this at the end as promised and said it was against their policy because I could go directly to their source to get it myself? What.First review:These guys are great. Helped me assess my issue. Ended up being a rare laptop hinge issue. Worked quickly. Fair pricing. Quality replacement part. Sending more people their way for business. Recommended for sure.

I have taken my laptops to this business twice. The problems were diagnosed quickly and when estimates were given, the final cost was at the low end of the cost range that was quoted and very competitive with the other shops out there for the same service. They fixed the problems and have not had any further trouble. I will not hesitate to go straight to them next time I need a device fixed.

We had a phone call diagnosing the problem with our laptop within an hour of dropping it off. We authorized the repair, and it was done quickly and efficiently. All of our questions were answered, and further support was offered should we have any problems. The price was quite reasonable. I would definitely do business with them in the future, and I highly recommend their competent and speedy service.

My laptop (a Mac Book Pro) met with an accident involving some water a few weeks back. I was panicked and took it straight to the Mac Store who were less than helpful about data recovery which was one of my main concerns.Comp-Pros called me within a couple of hours to let me know what the damage was, and the state of my data. Repairs were seen to promptly, despite a slight hitch with a part that they sent for, but was in fact faulty. They rang me directly and made the decision NOT to install an unsatisfactory piece of hardware, but to reorder with another company. Very professional service. My laptop arrived and a follow-up email to check everything was to my satisfaction. Great quality service! Thank-you.

Had an old Dell desktop which finally crashed as well as a power supply problem with my new Dell. The folks at Comp-Pros were awesome all the way around and did a fantastic job doing everything I asked as far as fixing my power supply problem along with transferring all my software and files from my old desktop to the new one. They even explained how to safely destroy my old hard drive once I was certain I had everything organized on my new desktop. They are also very reasonable with their pricing and are fast with their service. Thanks!

As a big PC gamer, my computer means the world to me, which is why I had to have a custom built desktop made. So when it started spazzing out I needed to get it fixed ASAP! After some frantic research I came across Computer Professionals. The fact that they did house calls settled it. Living in the Beverly Hills area there was no way I was going to haul my beast of a computer anywhere.Thankfully I was able to call, and they were able to make a same day appointment! Come to find out that the tech that came out actually builds computers! He was able to diagnose my computer quickly and with ease it seemed. It was great because he was able to help me purchase the new parts I’d need. He got it repaired and ‘up and running’ in no time after that.Now, the on site appointments aren’t cheap, but their rate was pretty fair especially considering the knowledge the Tech had. Quality is what I’m talking about! The world isn’t going to save itself, but with me at the controls, and their computer savvy tech behind my PC and I, we can all rest a little easier. The new MacBook Pro had an unexpected bath when the pup jumped up and knocked over a glass of chardonnay. Apple wanted 760 to replace the motherboard. Opened it up and dried it out - it tried to turn on, over and over again. The guys at SFCR took it in, and opened it up. Hes cleaning it as we speak, but harvested my daughters report off the drive and gave me the data on a CD so that she can finish it this weekend. Felt really comfortable with their explanations and the metered parking out front was easy. Love this shop.

Comp- Pros is the most professional computer repair company. It was refreshing to enter a computer repair store and immediately know you are in good hands. Every employee there was knowledgeable and all my questions were answered. My computer got a horrible virus and I never backed up my computer so I was very scared at what would happen with all my documents and pictures, but Comp Pros advised me to purchase an external hard drive, taught me how to back up my items, and saved as well as repaired my entire laptop.For any computer questions or issues, definitely go to Comp Pros.

Went in because my computer wasnt working due to a ram issue. The kind person helped me trouble shoot the laptop and used multiple different methods and different rams to see if the problem resolves and luckily he was able to fix my laptop after so many attempts. They had great customer service in repairing my laptop and saved me money possibly getting a new motherboard. They were kind, patient, and professional in trying to help my computer on the spot while they were busy.

It was time for our company to upgrade our server and catch up with times. After some research and asking for recommendations from colleagues, I decided to give Comp Pros a call and see if this was something they could handle. The nice girl over the phone was able to assure me that they had a tech there who could build us a server with exactly what we needed and also had a tech that was savvy to come by the office for an on site appointment to transfer everything from our old server to the new one and set our office up. With in a few days we had a new server in our office and everything is working great. Im glad we found our new IT company. Although we may not need them as much since all is well in the office, we know who to call if anything comes up.

I brought my custom built PC in one Friday because I could not for the life of me figure out why it wasn’t turning on. I changed the battery, which was the issue the first time and still nothing. So I found the Comp Pro guys and they figured out what was wrong, fixed it and I had my computer back in less than a week. They even gave me a 90-Day warranty in case anything goes wrong. From the moment I walked into the store, I know I was in good hands. I explained my laptop problem and inquired if the staff can fix it on the same day as it is the only laptop I have. The technician immediately took my laptop and fixed it within 30 mins. I was impressed and couldnt feel happier. He even explained to me what was wrong and what could be done to improve my laptop. Computer Professionals is the best computer repair company in Los Angeles. I took in both my PC and Mac and the turn around time was quick. BEWARE OF SCAMS!! I called ahead and used the online support to get a quote on a laptop screen repair. They gave me 2 employee names, 1 quote, and a ticket number. I go in and some guy claiming to be the manager wants to charge me an extra $80 for the repair even with my quote, ticket number, and employee references!! I like supporting small business but this person obviously likes taking advantage of struggling college students stay away!!!

Cooling fan had been dying on my HP laptop for more than a year. Finally, I got message that the cooling system was failing and my data was in danger. Time to get fan replaced. I took computer to Comp-Pros. They told me they had to order the fan and it would take 5 days. They called 2 days later and told me they had the fan; that was good news. When I told them I really couldnt leave the computer for a whole day, they told me to come first thing next day (Saturday morning) and Andre would try to expedite repair. In fact, he had it done in less than 1 1-2 hrs. The cost seemed a little high, but good service doesnt come cheap. Would definitely use them again.

Spilled water over my work laptop, and Comp-Pros fixed it! The turnaround was amazing, I got it back within a few hours. I wouldve been so screwed. Thankfully, they didnt have to replace the logic board, but they did have the keyboard replacement in stock already and cleaned off some residue inside. The staff was very attentive and helpful. My older HP computer had stop working due to a virus (several of them) and the staff went the extra mile to fix it for me for a very reasonable price. They also kept in touch with me afterwards to ensure that the problem was indeed fixed. It is 5 months later and the problem has not come back.

My cMacBook Pro has a divided hard drive, Mac and Windows. It froze a day before my clients corporation year-end information needed o be transferred. I was on the phone for hours with tech people and also took my computer to a Mac store to no avail. CompPro saved me. Thank you to Aleks and the guys at CompPros!!!!Like a complete idiot, I dropped an entire glass of water on my Macbook Pro. It immediately went black and I began to panic. My friend told me about this place at the century city mall so I decided to pay them a visit with my dead Macbook. The guys there were really honest, friendly and helpful overall.. and not to mention, answered all the questions I had with with obvious and true knowledge). They told me that Apple would automatically charge me $700 to give me a new motherboard, whereas they would look at it and see what they could do. Theres a $65 charge to look into the computer but that fee was waived when they found out what the problem was. The whole thing cost around $200 and took about a day to fix. I cant be any happier right now and know where to go if something else ever happens to my baby (god forbid).Thanks again for the speedy service and awesome price! You guys rock!

Everything was great! Took my Samsung Laptop in because I spilled soda on the keyboard. My laptop model required a special keyboard where the whole entire casing needed to be fixed. Samsung was a pain to deal with directly so I took it into Computer Professionals. The customer service was awesome and they really made me feel comfortable in the whole entire process. Truly a business that cares about their customers.Its tough because there are plenty of computer stores all over LA that claim they can fix a problem. But what happens is...they take the computer and make the problem worse, then claim that more things need to be fixed which of course means more $$$$$ out of my pocket and more $$$$$ for them.Computer professionals are the complete opposite.I contacted computer professionals and they right away fixed my hard drive issue and disc drive, no questions asked. Super professional (it even says it in their name).Nice staff, and owner is very respectful and cares about his customers.

Brought my 2010 Asus laptop in after it was running slow/DVD drive didnt work/battery was dead/etc. They tried to fix the laptop but apparently discovered its motherboard had too many issues to repair, so sold me a new HP Notebook and put all my old files onto it. The new laptop seems to be running fine, though there are some programs that Id downloaded on my old laptop which they left off (like iTunes and Rosetta Stone) that Ill have to download and hopefully wont have any issues with old passwords, files, etc. Would come back to ComPros again.
