When checked in, the receptionist insisted on my driver license, otherwise we could not stay there. She copied all the info. I was not comfortable. Next day early morning when we woke up to get ready for our appointment. The shower water was cold as ice. Called the receptionist, she said we will be fixing it soon. Nothing happened for next three hours. We had to take shower with cold water. Very uncomfortable.Next to our room, the place five people in one room which continuously went in and out of room slamming the doors have very hard till 2 AM. My wife complained to front desk no action was taken. I don’t recommend to stay at these Comfort Suites, also known as Choice Hotel. Truly the hotels chain are trash hotels.

Wait until construction is done before staying here. Parking lot was partially closed due to construction on Front Lobby structure. Construction trash container located in parking lot. Limited parking. Half of downstairs lobby is closed off by plastic sheeting. The shower water is the rooms was cold/warm at best. Rooms should be discounted during construction. The rooms were clean and upgraded. Nice blackout curtain to keep light out. The employees were all nice. Expect a long check-in process with lots of card swipes. The check-in process should be much more efficient. If this place was cheaper, it would be great but with all the issues, not worth the price at current state of construction. Breakfast biscuit was OK. Overall - Disappointing but has potential.

A lot of construction going on. I stayed for two nights and still havent gotten a hot shower. Something is going on with the boiler. The place is nice and clean and the lady at the front desk was very nice and very helpful in the cold water situation. A lot businesses around. Everything is within walking distance and theres a dispensary almost right next door. They did refund me part of my money. Which I am thankful because $108 per night and no hot shower was definitely to high. I would definitely come back to stay if the hot water is on.

The rooms have no hot water, and no one will tell you this at check in. They said they would have maintenance come in to make repairs but it doesnt happen. Another night without hot water. DO NOT STAY HERE. Ive now read some past reviews and see no hot water is a trend. The desk staff are not being honest about what is going on and they claim a manager will address issues but no one contacts you.

Do Not come here. Under construction, and its not going well. Dust containment is absent, hot water is hit or miss, parking lot saturated with work vehicles and debris.. unless your looking for a discount and a smile, dont waste your money. Its evident that upper management, project management group, construction crew...are not taking guests into consideration.. But the staff is really nice,feel bad for them, handing out comp. Hand sanitizer and prepackaged breakfast sandwiches.... lol what a joke

Beds had bed bugs as both of us in the room ended up waking up with bites spread throughout our body. There was not a room cleaning person available to switch our bed sheets either, so we had to sleep with the same bed sheets the next night.

My husband and I own our own company and we stay in hotels all over the West Coast. Even though Turlock seems like a small town in central California I have to tell you that my husband and I love this motel more than pretty much any other motel weve stayed at. Not only are the staff incredibly exceptional and accommodating but the continental breakfast is quite good. I couldnt ask for a more comfortable environment in a hotel or better staff every time its just been an all-around great experience! I want to give a big round of applause to Jacqueline, Aaron and the manager Stephanie. They are all wonderful people. Thank you for always being so inviting.

Stayed here for a couple of weeks in multiple rooms. The cleanliness of the rooms was pretty standard with clean sheets and towels. Unfortunately, the carpet has seen better days, but that happens with a lot of hotels. The staff were all around great! Every individual at the front desk was kind, helpful, and overall knowledgeable. Loved having security on site frequently throughout the night. Continental breakfast was standard as well with cereal options, bagels, fruit, or waffles. Water was always available by the front desk.If I need to stay near this city again, I will stay with the same hotel.

I stayed at this hotel regularly for 6 months for work related reasons. I can honestly say that I never had a single problem here. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. My rooms were always very clean. I never had any issues with my car in the parking lot. There is a nice breakfast everyday. I was very fortunate to have found this hotel. It exceeded my expectations, especially when it came to the personnel and cleanliness. A big bravo to everyone who works there!!!

My experience at this hotel and with choice hotels in general was very poor. As you can see in the pictures the primary issue I dealt with was bugs being in our room. The hotel was overbooked so they couldnt move us and gave us bug spray after we asked for it. This issue doesnt need any explanation Obviously having a bug-infested room presents numerous safety and cleanliness concerns. However, the other issue is with the management, specifically the GM Stephanie Baker, she never reached out to me after I contacted her, not even to apologize. I had to follow up with her to try to resolve this. After finally reaching her she didnt honor the compensation that I was told I would receive and she didnt seem to care about the issue. Lastly, I called Choice Hotels directly and they displayed the same attitude. They have terrible customer service and dont care about customer experience. I spent 90 minutes on the phone and on hold, I asked to speak with a manager and never got to. I was just told they were busy. The whole situation was handled very poorly and I didnt appreciate how I was treated, I would advise you to avoid choice hotels but definitely dont stay at the comfort suites in Turlock.

Easy check in. Clean very large room comfy bed all the amenities see pics. Free hot breakfast didnt get to partake do to work start time, but it smelled good. Water pressure in shower adequate as well as plenty of hot water and towels. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Stayed one night this trip, I will be back and make this a regular. Decent. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel in front was a party foul, and the view of the highway was less than desired, but all in all, not a bad hotel. If I was to visit this town again, I would book this same hotel. Front Desk gal was nice and security was readily available to help us with some questions we had.Great price for an easy stay.

Just needed a place to stay for the night and it was sufficient. This was the 11th hotel in 2 weeks and notable (in a bad way) for a slightly rude desk clerk who gave us the lumpiest pillow ever and did not want to give us the items- keys, bedding, towels etc, we needed for all three guests in our room. Sofa bed was not the worst, but not great. One really gross overlooked area that was not clean, and broken light fixtures in the bathroom. TV didnt work and we had to stand in the hall while a guy fixed it at 10:30 pm. Breakfast was ok if you like pure carbs and can out compete the hoards of people vying for the waffle maker. But like the other Comfort Inn we stayed at on this trip the POOL WAS CLOSED. Ok place overall, but there are small changes they could make to improve guest experience.

I stayed here quite a bit not long after it was built, but not over the past ~6-7 years or so, that is until the past 2-3 months where Ive been staying on a weekly basis. Sad to say, but it aint what it used to be. Its just tired and understaffed. While the rooms are generally clean, fittings and fixtures are often broken or showing significant signs of wear and tear. For example the room Im in tonight is missing light bulbs from 2 of the 4 lamps that provide most of the room lighting. The rooms are already pretty dark, but it doesnt help when light bulbs are missing, not just broken, missing. And this is not an isolated incident. Broken and/or missing bulbs are a problem in many of the rooms Ive stayed in this year. Looking over at the couch, the upholstery is completely detached from the back of one of the two seat cushions. Tonight, I had to wait 15 minutes for a front desk person to return from their lunch break so I could check in. Really? Breakfasts are okay, but it is way past time that they replaced the coffee dispenser. It takes about 20 pumps to fill a standard size cup with coffee. That stained old dispenser needs to be permanently retired. Other issues include traffic noise from the nearby freeway (probably unavoidable), shower curtains that are ragged in some rooms, and sometimes the hot water needs to run for 20-30 minutes before I can take a hot shower. Apart from the time delay, thats a terrible waste of water. Is there anything positive to say about the Turlock Comfort Suites? Yes, the staff are always nice, conscientious, and hard-working, but they are also understaffed. They can only do so much.

Comfortable stay and very clean, cant complain! We arrived later than intended, passed out, woke up earlier than wed have liked, ate breakfast, and proceeded to hightail it back home. All in all, though, a good hotel!The beds were a teensy bit softer than Id have liked, but not the biggest deal to me. I just had to be careful not to roll off haha.

Do not recommend if you’re looking for a quiet hotel experience. The floors are so dirty my feet were black from walking around barefoot in the room. The towels smelled funny, and the couch in the room was filthy. Cool having a hot tub in the room, but it took forever to fill up and the water was cold half way through. Ok if you’re on a budget. Breakfast was decent with a waffle maker.

Super great customer service and a really great, CLEAN room. After attempting to stay in a room in Stockton we went in expecting the worse but were pleasantly surprised. They got us in for the night after 11pm even. The lady at the front desk was extreme helpful. The cleaning staff was also amazing. Plus, free coffee.Overall the room was great and i would 100% reccomend anyone passing by to come here to stay.

Our family of six shared two connecting rooms. The layout was great, the rooms were clean (carpet could use a good cleaning), and the breakfast was pretty tasty. Also, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The firm beds left my back sore, but my 70 year-old mother loved them!The surrounding area is extremely accommodating. Pretty much anything you want to eat, its within a 5 minute drive. All in all a great stay, and we will definitely stay again when were in the area.

Wonderful hotel! Everything was clean and new. The buildings construction was very solid, so there was no noise coming in to the room from the outside or the hallways,etc. The beds were comfy and luxurious, and the bathroom large,clean,and very nice. All the employees we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful, and in a sincere way. The parking lot had plenty of available space and was well lit. We really enjoyed our stay!

I checked into the room in the afternoon and the refrigerator was broken. I was given a second room since there was no maintenance to repair/replace it. The second refrigerator was also broken so I iced down my ice chest. The room had an adjoining door and the occupant was smoking. I asked the front desk to have them stop. They would not and said housekeeping was not there and would check the smoker’s room in the morning. They had no concern of my health from second hand smoke I experienced through the following morning. I left several items in my first room which they said I could not retrieve since they already re-leased it. The new guest(s) received a room in which I had used the bed and towels. I woke the next morning and saw through my window provocatively dressed women climbing into the cabs of the big rigs parked in the hotel parking lot. After showering I used a hotel towel to dry off only to find it had 3-4 holes in it, one over 3” in diameter (no joke). I went downstairs to get breakfast only to be told there was no breakfast. The website said there was and I was charged for it. I asked to speak with the manager from the afternoon I checked in through the next morning. The front desk clerk told me rudely there was no manager at the property but one would call. They never did. If you want a Comfort Suites to provide you the worst Motel 6 experience at twice the price, this is the place for you.

Everything was great! Staff was friendly, room was clean. If I have anything negative to say, it is simply that the shower head could use a replacement. However, that wont keep me from coming back. Thank you for what is probably the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping on. Props to the cleaning crew too.

Our trip to NorthCal was due to a family members funeral. The hotel was a great convenience being 5 mins. from the funeral home. The staff was professional, and the cleaning crew was very helpful. The room we stayed was a handicap which had all the accommodations.The King size bed was clean and comfy. The whole interior was super. The breakfast was fresh and tasty.Thank you staff for making our trip a memorable one.

Had a very pleasant experience here. Monica, the Front Desk Assistant, was very welcoming and helpful. Very cheerful and sociable during check-in. Rooms were clean and nice and the bathroom was spotless. Bed were comfy, but with covers it was a little warm, nothing the ac couldn’t fix. Overall, amazing stay and would certainly come back.

I would have given five stars.. Staff was very professional. Room was clean. Beds were super comfy. But the bed had a black mark that they tried blaming me for. Also I have a two year old who is still in diapers and occasionally leaks out at night. Well the night I stayed here leaked onto the bed. They were charging me $200 for a little wet spot on the sheets.. I offered to wash the sheet myself as it was nothing.. Thats is the only reason for the 3 stars.. Check your room for stains so you dont end up getting charged for it.

While rooms seems clean. We were family of 4 and literally 2 big and 1 small towel in room. I hate to ask and front desk always have board that says “Attending guest problem”. Only one soap bar and that seems cheap quality. The breakfast bar does not have breads at all! Cereal bowl is very tiny that my kid was even wondering! Nothing else then waffle to eat.

Do not recommend this hotel. Went with my family. My kids and I Could not sleep because the loud noise of the a/c. It was hot and musty in there when we would turn it off. The room didn’t feel clean, the counters were dirty. The bed sheets had female head hair. They also told us they do not accept cards without a chip. Would not go stay there again I rather pay $40 more and stay at the Hilton.

Stayed here just one night. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets and pillows were perfect. The complimentary breakfast was great, with many choices to suit a variety of diets. The location is close to downtown shops and restaurants and a short drive to CSU Stanislaus. Id stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel with comfortable, all- suite rooms, nice coloring and layout of the rooms and also nice restrooms. The area is very nice also with short of beautiful trees, plants, and bushes surrounding the property.Large dirt area in the back for truck parking and some truck parking in the street. Centrally located for easy access to the highway and decent nearby food.I highly recommend Pizza Guys (delivery), and La Taqueria down the road on main Street on other side of highway 99. Best Mexican food around.... but expensive.This is my go-to hotel when Im in the area. It is comfortable, clean, beautiful area, and friendly staff.

Great customer service, rooms were mostly clean, and breakfast was pretty good. One thing I thought was nice is the hotel is pet friendly (unfortunately I discovered this when some disgusting owner of a cute poodle mix let the dog sit on the table in the eating area- love dogs, but dog butt on the table people eat on is a no-no Mr. Fellow-Dog-Owner). Overall, would stay here again and just bring my breakfast to my room.

My husband and I had originally booked a room at a nearby hotel and were very unsatisfied for a number of reasons. It was very early in the morning possibly 1 AM and we were very tired after driving approximately 18 hours. We drove to Comfort Suites and the front desk clerk went above and beyond to ensure we had a place to sleep. He was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you very much.

Very poor value. Breakfast is not really breakfast. Theres a juice machine, coffee thermoss, and some inedible things in a tiny fridge. The hotel is less than 100 yards from the freeway and very noisy. Housekeeping never made it to my room during a 3-day stay. The fridge had no freezer. Finally, I checked out a full two days early and couldnt get my last nights money back. Maybe thats pricelines fault, but the hotel did nothing to help. I would never stay again and never recommend it to anyone. It wasnt dirt cheap like it should have been

The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They had to go baggies with fruit and water. I went for breakfast and they ran out of gravy for their biscuits (bomb digity) and they made more for me! Not to mention the hot tub and pool is a good lounge area with some music and wine (no glass of course).

Well where to begin, I stayed here for a week, children were screaming and running up and down the hallways. I tried to move to a different room and realized that they were running and screaming and slamming down on all 3 hallways not to mention downstairs by the front desk…….I will never stay there again….Never! I wish someone would have been totally honest with me before I stayed there. Please research before you stay…. No a good experience!

Was a nice hotel, but every morning that we went to have breakfast, nothing was out. All they had a tiny muffins and coffee was always empty. Maids never came to our room when we were out and we had to go looking for someone to even get clean towels. No one was ever up front to ask questions.

The staff was somewhat rude. Its not as nice as the pictures made it look. Kind of run down. Got the suite with the jetted tub. The water took forever to get warm and filled so slowly that I started timing it. I gave up at 90 minutes when the tub was barely full enough to turn on the jets without water spraying everywhere.

Only issue I had was is the shower did not have a plastic liner. The water just bled through the thin fabric shower curtain and soaked the bathroom floor. Easily remedied by asking for more towels.Its worth spending a little more money to ensure a clean and bug free room while staying in Turlock.

My home away from home well I guess you can say home is where the heart is. And my heart is with Comfort Suites. The prices are a little on the high side and I wont book when its got high but when I can get a good deal usually through Priceline then I try to book for a couple nights if not three or four. I do wish their rates were lower but I love the fact that there is no deposit. They have a laundry room and a continental breakfast in the morning which most hotels dont even have that because of covid. So Im grateful for that. The rooms are always clean in the front desk doesnt bother you. If I had the opportunity to make any changes the first I would change is the fact that they are locking the side doors you can exit but cannot enter because apparently for protection of covid-19 although I dont understand how thats protecting anything they rather all the guests come in and exit through one door instead of dividing. Into three entrances instead of just one?? That I dont understand very much they should just unlock it and let everybody enter and exit as they please. My second suggestion would be they need more courtesy cards for the guests that arrive to carry your luggage being that this is a hotel that is three courtesy cards for the guests that arrive to carry your luggage being that this is a hotel that is three floors and one elevator it is very convenient and takes a lot of stress off the guest knowing that they can take all her luggage up on one trip instead of multiple especially since the side doors are not open. And one last suggestion would be for the maids to know that they cannot talk to guests in any type of way because a towel was not there when it was time for picking up the towels. I was still using a towel and the maid knocked on the door like she was the police demanding that I give her back a towel. Needless to say I let her know that she is not to talk to me like that and that I will provide her with the tell when I was done using it. So why then put the towels on her left that I was still using outside on the floor where she told me to leave them when I heard another knock on my door and she complained that that wasnt the towel that belongs to the motel. That was the one and only time I ever had any rudeness from an employee. But I was sure to let her know that Tone of voice would not be tolerated. I was professional about it. But firm. I didnt see her the rest of my trip. Other than those small minor situation I will be more than happy to come back to Comfort Suites in Turlock. Im completely happy with this Motel. Even with my small minor complaints not everything and everyone is perfect we all make mistakes but we should never be judged based off of one incident when all the other times have been 100% satisfaction

Zero StarsI am a loyal Comfort Suites Customer and I have stayed in many locations for work and pleasure. I have never experienced a faulty shower chair until now. My wife, a full time wheelchair chair user, after a drunk driver hit her vehicle and injured her spine, was about to shower before my daughters wedding. Time was of the essence. She was about to transfer when she pushed on the chair and noticed it lowered at a slant. The chair bracket was partially disconnected from the wall and could have resulted in a tragic fall. After requesting a portable shower chair or another room, we resorted to using a patio chair and a towel for a cushion. The GM was quick to point out that nobody else has ever complained about this problem. Im so glad I took pictures that showed the chair was improperly installed and as a result, had disconnected from the wall. Even with pictures, I have yet to receive an apology or appreciation for pointing out the problem and possible accident. My learning point is check the seat before you sit at Comfort Suites in Turlock.

Front desk very welcoming! Room nice & clean with no smell. Bed & pillows comfy. AC works great! Breakfast is good. Pool area small has 2 good size bbq pits for your convenience. Parking area a little dark at night. There is a certain part of West Main St that leads to the bad side of Turlock so for food & shopping I recommend Countryside Drive (very nice area).

I skipped star 5 because there was a slight confusion with towels missing.we didnt feel like arguing because there was no way to prove we were right so we paid for towels that were missing. 20 min after we checked out and paid for the towels we received a call with an apology because the towels showed up. Impressive room. Lots of space. King bed was comfy and the bathroom had lots of counter space. Breakfast was okay and the sound blocking from the hallway could have been better, but luckily didnt turn out to be a problem for us this time around. Good light blocking on the windows. Bathroom was well stocked with an abundance towels and cloths. Would give 4.5 stars if possible.

I travel frequently for business, more than once a month even through COVID. Ive stayed at this hotel a few times without issue, and as a matter of fact Im a Platinum Member with the Choice Hotels chain. Recently I had a trip booked here but needed to postpone, so cancelled and ended up staying at a different Choice Hotel a few weeks later. Comfort Suites refused to refund me. I called Choice Hotels customer service and they also refused a refund, claiming theres nothing we can do. Our first experience at a Comfort Suites and we were left with not a good impression.We stayed in room 312. The drain in the shower had to be wedged open with the complimentary body lotion, one of the two vanity/bath lights did not work, charging ports did not work, couch dirty and torn, off and on irritating high frequency sound eminating somewhere in the wall, refrigerator door did not properly close, barking dogs next door, freshly served breakfast eggs and potatoes luke warm, and finally, only two thin bath towels that could double for large hand towels.Would I stay at a Comfort Suites again? No! There are plenty of competing hotels to stay the night.

Ok. There is a very good and bad side of this hotel and Im going to start by saying Im giving a 5 star because the hotel stay deserves a 5. Im going to start by saying I absolutely love this hotel. Everything about it is worth every penny spent and I definitely would recommend it to my friends and family. No complaints at all on the rooms the only complaint I have is having to be at the front desk no later than 12 oclock pm to sign a paper the same paper everyday by 12pm. Even if you have paid for the room through the rewards app and took care of all the reservations you still have to be down there by 12 oclock which is bullcrap because you already paid for the room why does it have to be by 12pm? Why not be anytime before 5pm or anytime before the next day? Because I was told by manager to be there by 12oclock and weekend came and I was 15 minutes late and I supposedly laughed when the girl told me I was late and been told before she had told the manager when she got back to work on Monday that I had laughed and said I been told she told me I couldnt extend my stay when I went to pay for another night. So because she said I couldnt extend my stay and had to leave I am no longer to rent from that hotel ever! All because I was late to sign a paper! Not late to pay for the room because the room was already paid for it was because I wasnt there to sign the same damn paper that you sign every damn day. I just think that is wrong that Im kicked out of the hotel because of that. Mind you Im a single mother with a 5 year old daughter who has adhd and she still asked us to leave over a damn signature! Now were on the streets because I cant find a hotel who is pet friendly and accepts prepaid cards and a good price. I just called to see if I waskicked out for good because of that and she said yes. Soooo wrong!!!! Some people need to have a heart and not be so picky about that damn signature if you already paid online

This is our go to hotel every time we visit my mom in Turlock, Ca. Reasonable room prices, easy access off of the freeway. Pool and Jaccuzzi with clean rooms. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Add to that the free breakfast, and weve got a winner. We look forward to our visits here.

And were willing to help right away with anything u need. The cleaning crew were super nice n smile. And do a great job keeping the facility spotless. The managers are grest. The roims have a partial dividing wall w a small livingroom. A big shower/bathtub. The outdoor area is also imaculate. The pool n jacuzzi are very clean. Theres chair n lounge chairs around the pool. Theres a totally seperate area w/ 2 seperate gas bbqs to use for free. Aling w tables n chairs to hold a small gathering. Theres an area indoors, to have free ice water n coffee w visitors. And i had a service dog w me along with a fully disabled family member. N they have handicap pkg. Along with carts to put your luggage on. So u dont have to carry it to your room. In the rooms is a fridge. N microwave and cabinets for snacks. N a small snack shop area by the front desk. They have a hot breakfast plus continental brkfast. N juices. I would very highly recomend this hotel to everyone n i would give them a 5 star rating. Its fantastic.

This hotel does not have a full suites all rooms are Jr. SUITES. It is one large room with the sofa bed on the same wall as the head of the bed with a small wall that basically makes the division in the room that was only as deep as the sofa.The pillow gave me an allergic rash on my face the next morning I had hives above my eyebrow under the eye and down the sides of my face. This had ONLY happened before when the hotel does not wash the pillows and linens. I wouldnt recommend not staying without your own pillow protector.

Housekeeping or someone w access to my room stole my necklace and earings I had laid out on bathroom counter to wear on the way home. Only items on bathroom sink in in site. A friend showed up, unexpectedly, and helped me take things to my car. I had room until 1 p.m. late check out. We decided while downstairs to go out to breakfast. We left restaurant at 12. I took off down freeway headed home. I totally forgot necklace and earings. I called from car at 1:15 and told the lady I forgot my necklace and earings they are laying out in bathroom counter.
