I have been a Registered Nurse for over 38 years and I fully understand the nuances of taking care of an elderly person. I can say without hesitation that Comforcare has provided quality care for my father for the past 2 1/2 years. My brother, sisters and I are completely satisfied with the care they provide! Alice and Stan and their team have treated my dad and our family with love and respect. Their dedication to providing excellent and thorough care has given us a sense of peace knowing our father is well taken of. ComForCare provided much needed and appreciated care for my Dad in the final years of his life, hampered by Parkinson’s and dementia. His assigned regular caregiver was very professional, kind and caring. His level of reliability and attention to detail was extraordinary. He was always looking for better ways to help my father, and kept a strong line of communication with me, so I really was able to take advantage of his insights and ideas. Comforcare has been a wonderful help for me as I learn to take care of my elderly parents. The providers have been very responsive to several abrupt changes to scheduling due to my parents reluctance to acknowledge their need for care- and they are adjusting to the presence of care helpers in their home. Stan and Alice were there for me without delay and are very experienced and kind. As time goes by and my parents need more assistance, I feel reassured to know that ComForCare can meet the challenges of their aging with dignity, respect and friendship.

I was referred to ComForCare by my best friend. My family needed some urgent help with caretaking and Stan was so responsive and did his best to find timely coverage. Comforcare companions are doing so much more than “babysitting” my 90-yr old post-stroke Mom. Alice is providing individualized care and exercise instructions. Companions are engaging Mom with exercises and appropriate activities, being respectful of her need to rest, challenging her with short outings and providing a great level of care. We are just a couple of weeks in, but I would highly recommend Comforcare.
Would give more stars if we could :) We were so very pleased with the services they gave to my husband and myself over a period of several months. Getting care for my husband initially was complex and very stressful. Then I talked with Alice and learned what ComForCare has to offer. Their services are comprehensive, caring, and effective - a terrific combination, in my opinion. Often you get one & not the others! The support we received from both Alice and the caregiver we were assigned was above and beyond what you expect from such an agency. The caregiver was flexible in meeting our needs and together, we all did a lot of problem solving, which was very helpful to my husband and I. We whole-heartedly recommend them!

Stan and Alice are very kind and professional in home caregiver providers. Id like to share a little about my family that I think is true for many families. As parents age, giving up their home privacy and independence can be unimaginable hard. While my Dad (the parent needing the care) is a saint, my mother, whos always been the boss believed wrongly that she did not need help caring for my dad. She could be mean, judgmental and bossy. After many months of reassuring my mom that help caring for my dad would keep them both safer, after she canned two agencies, we found Comforcare.Stan and Alice worked with my difficult mother to find the perfect fit caregiver. I have been living with my 94 year old mom and caring for her. I had a trip to Italy planned and needed to find quality respite care for my mom. Alice and Stan responded immediately and were so kind to find the perfect caregivers for my mom so I could go on my trip and feel good that she was well taken care of. Alice and her team are great at ComForCare! Weve used their services for bathing. They communicate well, are efficient, and timely. Alice is very thoughtful, pleasant to work with, and is helpful with connecting to a social worker, which connected us to an elder law attorney. Stan and Alice were referred to my uncle after recovering from a fall and broken leg. We couldnt be more pleased with the service provided and the staff provided. Alice and Stan remain available to assist with questions and concerns to help us navigate through the recovery process. Tammy, our home care person is exceptional and very caring. We hired ComForCare to provide respite care (overnight shift) for my 90+ year old mother with severe dementia. The caregiver showed up on time and was very patient. My mother felt comfortable with him very quickly. They provide us a good detail record of what happened overnight. Will definitely use them again when the need arises.
We hired ComForCare when my mother was needing 24-hour care. This company was recommended to me by the assisted living center where my mother was living. It came to the point where my family and I were only able to attend to my mother for 4 hours a day, another person for nighttime, then we asked ComforCare for help cover the remaining 12 hours of the day. They were able to provide us with caregivers for the remaining week and a half of my mother’s life. The process of hiring/interviewing was easy. We were able to receive help fairly shortly after we asked, even though our request came at such short notice. My mother had been experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort, but my mother received a lot of loving care from the ComForCare staff. During a few of my visits with my mother, I stayed awhile to meet the main ComForCare caregiver to see how well my mother related with this person. My mother was delightfully engaged in conversation right away, smiling, listening, laughing. It seemed all my mother’s pains and worries were diminished while my mother was with her. My mom shared with me later how much she liked this caregiver, how this caregiver made her feel so important and special. She received foot massages, stories. They related heart to heart. The caregiver cleaned the bathroom, refrigerator when my mother was asleep. The ComForCare staff took good notes of what happened, so when there was a change of staff, the next person would know what happened. One time one of the caregivers helped us by meeting us at a medical center when my mother was needing to get scanned and also get some bloodwork. Another caregiver shared (by text) a photo of how my mother looked when she styled her hair, and how she gave a rosary to my mother who was interested in prayer. All in all, it was a very positive experience. Alice or Stan was always there when another caregiver was being introduced, as sometimes there were 2 caregivers per day to avoid paying overtime to staff. In serving my mother, they added very positively to my mother’s quality of life in her last week and a half.
Our mother, who is very independent & withdrawn from people found herself in a position where the only way she could be home was if someone checked in on her a couple of times a week. She lives 2 hours from family & refuses to live closer. She is VERY set in her ways.We have never had to hire a caregiver for my mother and we were nervous how it would go.From the initial meeting my mother was treated with respect & kindness. My mother’s house is not in the best shape so I know she is uncomfortable having people inside. They were very clear that they were not there to judge, just help. They had a gentle way of approaching her that gave me hope.My mother remained resistive to care but their patient caregivers seemed to be able to chip away at her & she was able to participate in some organizing of her house. They sent us text updates regularly to let us know what they were able to do with her on their visits. We were amazed & reassured that she was being looked out for.My mother remained resistive & difficult at times but I never heard anything but a kind word from them.We were not sure my mother would be able to last long without needing to move in to 24 hour care but it does our hearts good to know that my mother couldn’t have had a better chance at making it at home with anyone else.Alice & the rest of the team at ComForCare are TRULY ANGELS ON EARTH!!!! Very professional and compassionate husband and wife team. Alice, the wife, comes with each new aide to introduce them to the client. She also assists on the first visit to make sure she is aware of the clients condition. All of the aides were very gentle with my sister. Each one was always on time for the appointments.I was very impressed with this agency.
We hired ComforCare after my husbands mitral heart valve replacement (open heart surgery). He was released from the hospital one week after the procedure and needed help with getting in and out of bed, reaching for items on shelves, going for walks (he should not walk alone) and getting to doctor’s appointments. We hired assistants for 5 hours a day (so I could work part time) for 3 weeks.Alice and Stan (the company owners) visited us to assess our needs. They were professional, kind, thorough, and very reassuring. Alice is an occupational therapist and can bring in her expertise. For example, she showed us physical exercises for maintaining mobility and regaining strength in the chest and arms.ComforCare sent us attentive, kind and professional caregivers. My husband enjoyed their company. They assisted with all his needs and did light household chores.We give ComforCare the highest rating, recommend them wholeheartedly and would hire them again.
ComForCare deserves all these five-star reviews. The owners are devoted to running a helpful and ethical home care business, and the people who work for them couldnt be kinder or more compassionate. I have high regard for Stan Chow, Alice Ng, and my caretakers, Mary Hu and Mary Grace. They were all wonderful, and I recommend them highly.
Alice Ng was most helpful when I needed an overnight caregiver in a rush from late July 2021. She was able to locate a helper in a few days and came to the house to conduct an interview with me and the client. Alice was very professional and accommodating, as well as provided great advices along the way. I highly recommend for their service for short and long term.
Comforcare was instrumental in getting my mom back on her feet. They are responsive and timely and sincerely care about the people in their care. I’ve learned that geriatric care is about access to meals, medication regimen, getting to appointments, shopping, assistance in the home and most importantly, companionship. Comforcare did it all and put my mind at ease that my mom was being taken care of. They also provide Chinese language speakers too if that is what you need. I highly recommend their service.

Sandra is so great she offered to drive us and I hate to drive. I only drive when I have to. Sandra is terrific and we all appreciate her including our sons who live out of town. They don’t have to worry about us because she does everything!!!! She is sooo good to my husband and when she is here I do not worry a bit about him and really am able to relax, watch TV, read, and even take a nap. Thanks again for recommending her to us. Both companions that the agency sent did wonders for my mother, who isn’t a very easy client! They tried their best and mostly succeeded keeping her company- bringing magazines, playing games with her during Rec hour, and running errands. This agency is excellent.

I did not know how to handle the situation. I cannot emphasize enough how invaluable the support provided by Stan and Alice was during this period. From the initial assessment to the ongoing care coordination, they were there every step of the way.They visited my mom at the skilled nursing facility to assess her needs thoroughly and promptly find qualified staff to cover all the necessary shifts. All the staff speak the same language as my mom so there is no communication barrier. Alice introduced each new staff to my mom and went through the details with each staff of tasks on the caring list.Stan and Alice consistently went above and beyond to ensure that my mom received the best care possible. To assist us with Moms needs during this time, we turned to ComForCare for assistance. The care they provided for my mother was exceptional. The caregivers are kind, patient, hard working and very thoughtful. Overall the staff has been very reliable. Occasionally if a caregiver calls in sick, ComForCare works hard to fill the shift. Alice orients new caregivers to moms routine and needs. Alice has even covered a few shifts!Alice is responsive to texts and phone calls which is much appreciated. Alice and the caregivers have made helpful suggestions to make things go smoother with our mom.We are so thankful for ComForCare. Mom relies on the caregivers and she is very happy with the care they provide.
