We are so happy to have worked with Ayden and Amy of College Planning Solutions. We were worried because college application deadlines were just 3 months away and our son hasn’t started any college research. We reached out to Ayden and he assured us that he will be able to help. Amy guided our son pick universities and she also helped our son write effective essays and answer admission questions. My son was admitted to several universities including his ‘moonshot’ university, USC.

Ayden is fantastic. From start to finish (although were not there yet), Ayden has been critical at every step of my kids collage process. Its hard to express how happy I am that I found Ayden and College Planning Solutions. I started working with Ayden and team when my oldest son was a sophomore and my twins were freshmen, and Im glad we started early. They started working with my sons on rounding out their high school activities and experiences long before the college application process and CPS provides access to tools and data that helped my sons better identify their strengths and interests. As we got closer to college application time, the team helped to identify schools that were a good fit for my sons academic and extracurricular interests. I was also able to get a good idea of the likelihood of financial aid and how much.During the application process, Aydens team did an outstanding job of reviewing essays, taking the pressure off of me in keeping my sons on schedule in meeting application deadlines. My sons responded so much better to the coaching, prodding and encouragement from Aydens team than they ever would have if it were solely up to me.In the end, my sons all got into at least one of their top school choices and have been very happy with their decisions. Ayden and his team made the college admissions process so much less confusing and overwhelming - for us as parents and for our son. We were a bit “late” to the process, having started at the beginning of our son’s senior year. No matter - Ayden helped us through the entire process, gave us a clear roadmap of what needed to be done and when. More importantly, our son had a dedicated college counselor in Amy. She helped him understand his tasks and deadlines, guided him through the essay writing process and was available to answer any questions that came up. She was not there to do the work for him. Her approach empowered him to take responsibility, challenge himself and stay on track.In the end, our son was accepted to nearly every school he applied to and we are all thrilled with the one he’s chosen. Ive have been working with Ayden Masudi since September 2018, when I attended one of his classes at my company. Prior to working with CPS, private universities would not have been on our radar due to sticker price shock. College Panning Solutions eliminated the college application stress off my system :)!!! I started working with Ayden in 2018 for my older son’s admission process who at that time was in the middle of applying for colleges. I must say that without Ayden’s services, my son would not have got enrolled in the college of his choice (during sophomore year) plus we would not have received all the scholarship/grants available to bring his tuition down significantly. My son is studying in a private Jesuit school in LA and he is extremely happy there. I attended Aydens workshop last year when my daughter was starting her junior year. As with most parents, its such a long and overwhelming process to help your teenager get ready for college. We may have been behind in the college prep process for her but rest assured Ayden and the team moved swiftly to catch her up. I am so glad to get the introduction, it was an eye-opener on the process of applying to colleges and how to apply for financial aid. During all my interactions with Ayden, one thing was apparent--his kind attention to my concerns for my sons success in the college admission process and his wealth of knowledge about how best to maximize my sons financial aid award. I called Ayden recently to get a quote on the cost of having him assist me with my sons financial aid submission for next school year, and I was surprised and pleased that he wouldnt charge me additional for this service! He also gave me income threshold information for my son and other important information about private lenders that will allow me to be removed as a co-signer after the first year of the loan. As a single parent with a fixed income, I appreciated knowing this information.I also found Aydens proprietary database on college statistics very helpful. The database gave me access to information all in one convenient place and saved me tons of research hours. And, as a result, my son was considered and accepted to two respected private universities in Northern California for which he would not have had it not been for his on-campus interviews and personal statements.

CPS has been great in helping our oldest get into college. Ayden introduced us to a private college not on our list when we were only considering public schools. Our son was accepted and received financial aid making it more affordable than a UC. I started working with Ayden in 2015 when my son was a sophomore. It was the greatest setup because Ayden was actually working with my son, instead of me. They went through the process together, from finding out what his interest and skills were to filing out applications & writing essays. Ayden had a way of talking to my son and getting him to take responsibility for each part of the process. My son was thrilled to get into his school of choice!In March 2020, we started the process again, but with my freshman and sophomore daughters. They are working with Laurie, one of the positioning counselors. She is in constant contact with both of my daughters. They have todo lists and completion dates. Laurie follows up with them via text, email, and video conferencing. Both girls own the process and the outcome. I get to watch the process from a distance and am within arms reach if I am needed as backup, support, or any clarification is needed.I highly recommend College Planning Solutions with Ayden and Laurie. Ive been really lucky to work with Ayden and Amy for the past two years! As a community college student, choosing which schools to transfer to can be very stressful and tricky, but CPS made the process so much easier and efficient! Besides helping me pick schools that were a good fit for me, CPS helped me edit my college essays, guide me through applications, and apply for financial aid. I really appreciate the personal touch that Amy and Ayden emphasized during the process; they took the time to get to know me and my goals for school and my future career. Ayden has been amazing help. For 2020-2021 school year I have a son starting college and a daughter moving into her Junior year in College. I was using a college financial service for the last 2 years and was very unhappy for 2019-2020 school year. Therefore I spent a lot of time searching and interviewing in Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Dublin Areas for a replacement. I finally found Ayden and the minute I spoke to him, I can feel the difference here are just a few key points:- He doesnt talk like an insurance salesman, he talk like a parent.- He doesnt try to scare you to get your business- He is very busy, initial consultation may not be immediate, but once he takes in the student, he is very prompt, very reachable via email and phone and appointments. He has never taken over a few hours returning my email.- He is very articulate and explain things/situation/processes very well.- He spend time knowing the family he is working with, I absolutely dont feel like we are just ANOTHER family using his service- He knows what he is doing, I spent time going through the completed application and asked a lot of questions, I must say he has his strategies... and articulated them to me very well.- This is not a franchise service, this is the original and the only one College Planning Solution Founded by Ayden himself. I think that why I never felt like just I am a number.There are so many college planning services around here, I have experienced one that doesnt return emails for days, kept parent password and wont give it up to encourage you to use their service (I can show you email evidence, if you want to know who these people are, contact me) and many that try to sell you all kinds of add on services during consultation.
