I want to thank the Coding Dojo team for the very pleasant admissions process for internationals. The staff is extraordinarily caring and committed to make your way to the bootcamp as easy as possible. Worth pointing that out!

Just finishing up my 14 week bootcamp at Coding Dojo. What an experience its been. A roller coaster of emotions but I can now say Im a developer. By no means was it easy so if you are looking for an easy course this is not it. Saurabh (Sir Rob) was an amazing instructor. Not only does he break things down for you but the motivation and inspiration he gave was icing on the cake. I was down and ready to walk-out but Sir Robs inspirational speeches and giving us a look into his struggles when he went through the camp gave me the fire to finish strong. Thanks Sir Rob and thanks Coding Dojo. Not a full 5 star because theres always areas where one can improve. But definitely a 5 star course that I would recommend to anyone.

Ive been in the Dojo for about 6 weeks now. I have enjoyed every minute of it. It is challenging and keeps my mind running. I dont feel like I am at school or work. I just feel like I am doing what I enjoy. The instructors have been amazing and just really know the information to a point where they can teach it to practically anyone.

Update: I have so far been happy with the response I have received regarding the complaints listed in my original review below. The company has stated that they will issue a refund for the alumni pass renewal and in the response to this review, I was provided with the email for the career services team. I do think that the program itself was informative and helped my coding skills. Im just disappointed that this is what it took to get a response on the administrative side of things....I cant even express how much I regret signing up for Coding Dojo. I have asked multiple times to be connected to a career services advisor and received no response. I signed up for the alumni pass last September and when I tried to log in back in May, I was denied access and couldnt log in. Then, I get an email about them trying to charge my card to renew my alumni pass and I replied telling them that I had been locked out of my alumni pass for months. Instead of fixing the problem and extending the length of access to compensate for the months that I had already paid for, but did not have access, they went ahead and just charged my card $500 to renew the alumni pass WITHOUT my authorization. To say I am livid right now is an understatement. I reach out to them multiple times with no response, only to watch them commit fraud by charging me without my approval. This place is criminal. Buyer beware.

Most incredible educational experience Ive ever had.I looked forward to attending every day that I went there, because the vibe was just that good. This school teaches you how to code, but unlike other bootcamps, they really teach you how to learn to code, which is the true skill to get as a developer. Also, before I attended, I hadnt written a single line of code, but by the time I graduated, I felt confident enough to pursue my own projects and careers. Currently developing a video game and 3 websites. :)Thanks for opening so many doors for me, Coding Dojo!

If you are considering to change your career path and be a web developer, this is the right place to go. Well established curriculum, including Python/Django, React(MERN), and Java. The instructors are very friendly and helpful. They provide career service to help students prepare for the job hunt and get the insight of the industry. You will have a lot struggle along the way, but if you can fully commit yourself, the result will be worth it. I had a wonderful 3 months here.

I came into this program with about ~4 hours of total coding experience, just to see if this was something I wanted to invest my time and money in. TBH, some people could learn the exact same material from udemy, youtube or online articles, but you would have to be very disciplined, self-motivated, and self-sufficient. These three traits would be necessary bc inevitably, you will get stuck on something.Despite the above, I have zero regrets with my decision to attend Coding Dojo (Burbank). The environment fueled my work ethic; having classmates (aka cohorts) and instructors there to help me solve my problems when I (frequently) got stuck was invaluable. Many times, I just needed a second set of eyes to see a mistake I was overlooking, or encountered some obscure issue that I would never have been able to figure out on my own.It is only a 3.5 - 4 month program teaching 3 full stacks. Some people may wonder How much could you possibly learn about one full stack in just a month? The answer is: You get out of it what you put in. For the duration of the program, I was working on something related to coding for 70-90 hrs/wk. Even then, passing an exam still means that you are a beginner. However, you will be a beginner with a solid foundation to build upon.If you do decide to attend, it is IMPERATIVE that you do the pre-course work. Otherwise you will fall behind. You will start coding algorithms from day one, and having no prior experience will haunt you for the first few days, if not weeks.I recommend due to:1) Having a structured learning plan with daily goals2) Having classmates and instructors to advise you with real-time responses3) The environment when you are all together working is hard to mimic while working at home alone.

It was hard at first getting into the first stack and as I am a slow learner, I got the help I needed to find the answers. I like how they didnt just give you the answers. Theres also a 10-minute rule, where if you cannot figure it out yourself then ask a cohort mate or your teacher. I had a great learning experience learning Python and JavaScript!

Definitely not easy at all. Or cheap. But if you put in the time and 150% you can change your life for good. I just passed the python full stack and have two stacks to go but after passing that im ready for anything.UPDATE: great people but the programming field is so swamped becuase of covid. About a year later Im working in the tech field as it support. A job I probably wouldnt have gotten without my dipolma..but well see if it developes.

I registered on-site classes in Feb, 2020 in San Jose, CA campus. Due to the pandemic, I had to study remotely with other campus . And I was lucky to have instructor Morley Tatro to be my MERN stack instructor. He was really responsible and nice. He always explained complex knowledge to be easy to understand. I got solid understanding of MERN after I graduated. Really recommend to take Morleys class, you will learn a lot!
