My husband and I contracted with John Christopher Construction to do a complete remodel of our kitchen. We were told in the beginning the project would take approximately 4 months to complete and they were true to their word! We worked primarily with Chris and found him to be professional, knowledgeable, honest and always responsive. They had their crews in and out of our home almost on a daily basis and they were all professional, polite and very good at their various trades. They always took care to avoid damage to other areas of the house when bringing materials in and taking old materials out. They always cleaned up after themselves after a days work.Since the completion of our kitchen we have hired them to remodel a rental property and I am confident the project will go as smoothly as our kitchen did.We would recommend John Christopher Construction for any of your construction needs, whether large or small. I know we will continue to contract with them in the future.

Weve had two projects done by this team... a bathroom and the kitchen. The quality of work is excellent, and Chris is wonderful to work with. Communication is clear, all the workers were helpful and professional, and the project kept moving forward at a good pace. Chris made helpful suggestions about what would work best, but also respected our preferences. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

John and his crew are the best. We’ve worked with them on two bathrooms now and they make sure to put every effort to make it high quality and listen to every request we have. John personally comes to check in and chat with us to align on the upcoming plans for the renovation. He is also very clear on his invoices about what is spent on each item. Finally, his crew is so friendly as well and checks in at critical moments with me to make sure that the placement of fixtures are just the way I want them. Fantastic work on a tenant improvement for our escape room in Tustin.This was my first time starting a business, and everyone warned me about how rough the construction process would be, so I was braced for the worst. But...John was fantastic! Working with him and his crew was the best part of the process. He paid attention to details about what I asked for, helped me with value engineering, prepared a very detailed and competitive bid, was accommodating on contract terms and timelines, delivered early, and passed most inspections on the first shot.Were there change orders? Yes, but they were all reasonable, and John was great at communicating beforehand about anything big. Did everything go perfectly? Of course not, but any mistakes John took care of.Escape rooms are not your typical TI. John paid attention to what I did and didnt care about, and where I did and didnt want to invest money, and helped make a plan that worked for me. If I had it to do over again, I would have hired him first - before the permits, before the architect, before the engineers, before even signing the lease - to help make that plan sooner.

I am thankful that I was able to connect with Coastal Handyman Pros. My experience working with them was a positive one. After having negative experiences with other contractors in the past, Im pleased to say I now have a reliable contractor that I can count on for any future repairs or remodels.I have a 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom rental property in Irvine. The tenants recently vacated with little to no notice. When I inspected the property it was completely destroyed. I reached out to a few reputable contractors and was floored by the pricing and the limited scope of services provided. After another search I connected with Coastal Handyman Pros. From start to finish I had a sense of confidence that not only was this team competent, but also looking out for my best interest. My point of contact was John F. and I am impressed with how professional and more importantly how responsive he was. The pricing was fair and the quality of work completely met my expectations.John F. and crew took my ruined and non-rentable property and restored it to a condition that is marketable. Im also impressed with their commitment to getting the project done on time, and with limited change orders. The change orders resulted from damages uncovered during the extensive repair work that was done. Which was expected given the circumstances.Again, I am very please with my experience working with this company. When I need repair work or remodeling done for my rental or my residence Coastal Handyman Pros will be the first company I call.

John Christopher Const gets a 10 out of 10. I interviewed 8 construction companies for me kitchen, bathroom remodels and co owner Chris Manos was by far the most professional and thorough. During the entire 3 month process he stayed in communication and if an issue came up he also offered solutions. Project was completed before the estimated timeline. Highly recommend

From start to finish, Contractor, John Frize, gave 100% to this project. Project proceeded without delays, even when there were issues that needed to be resolved. Project came in on time. Carpenter, Robert, did an excellent job understanding my vision and helping to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. John always answered calls and texts in a timely manner and always provided clear expectations and project costs. All trades did an excellent job, and took pride in their work. I would highly recommend this company for your next project.

When our tenants left, the house was a complete disaster. John Frise assisted us in coming up with a whole interior house remodel at a reasonable cost. The cabinets were painted inside and out, new appliances including stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, washer, dryer, software system, and osmosis system were installed. New sinks, counter tops, faucets, medicine cabinets, ceiling fans, window coverings, flooring, and base boards were installed. John and his crew removed all the old appliances and other rubbish. As you can see from the pictures, the house turned out amazing! John and his crew were easy to work with and accommodated our short two week time frame to have all the work completed. We highly recommend Coastal Handyman Pros, and we will use them again on other projects.

Hello everyone, I usually dont do this, but I told that young man I would keep my promise.After years of speaking about it, My husband and I finally settled to renovate our Garage into an _ADU. We initially went with my husbands “work friend,” who is cheap and fast. Still, after a week of working for us, I came down to the decision to let him go of the lack of communication and responsibility, so I proceeded onwards and took manners into my own hands. I looked online and settled on John and Chriss construction, as they had a satisfactory history. I told them I had a specific time frame to finish, and they surpassed it with flying colors!The young gentleman Zachary was so accommodating and experienced in helping me pick out the perfect layout for my garage, and it came out better than I could think of.Based on The quality, With quickness and pleasant service, I would recommend them to anyone.5 STARS!

I worked mostly with John Frize of the John Christopher Construction company. Very professional, very responsive, and proactive. Sought my input on decisions that came up during the renovation process without waiting for us to discover them first. Pretty good with timeline estimates. Had some bumps with the online invoicing/payment process, but we worked through them. Work performed: reconfiguring/putting up/taking down internal walls/drywall; installation of exterior window; installation of electrical outlets; re-wiring light/fan switches; replacing carpet flooring with engineered hardwood; drywall patching and re-painting. Would work with John again.

It’s impossible to find a contractor who cares about their work and answers your questions every step of the way. Coastal Handyman is different in a very good way. John is very responsive every time we have questions. When some installation didn’t work as expected, John will send his crew to fix it. He’s fair and really cares about your job. You should at least get a quote from Coastal Handyman and meet this professional team.

Coastal Handyman Pros did a GREAT job for a very reasonable price in a timely manner on our recent home project. John orchestrated the demo, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring and stucco. All of their “in house” craftsmen that worked on our home were punctual and had a sense of pride in their work - artists! When do you get to put those together when talking about construction? They really care about their clients and it shows in the craftmanship and supervision of our project. We called Coasal Handyman Pros 2 weeks ago when we saw some major cracking on our outside stucco on the side of the house. We also had a plumbing issue in the hallway bathroom. We met with Chris Manos and he took the time to explain all the options to fix the bathroom issue and repair the stucco. We fell very confortable with him because he was so upfront with everything. He gave a quote the following day and after talking to a few other people, we dediced to move forward with Chris. The work has now been completed and we are thrilled with the outcome. Thank you.

Using Coastal Handyman Pros has been an awesome experience! We decided to add drywall and attic storage in our garage. I was very concerned about the safety of the attic storage floor but with the additional support added to the attic area and the detailed information given to me, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Chris is especially easy to talk too and is willing to answer all of your questions and or concerns. Staff showed up on time each day until project was completed. A special shout out to Zac!!! I recently had tiling done on a porch, fireplace and bathroom by Coastal Handyman Pros. For my project, the tile team consisted of Levi and Johnny. I was very impressed by their professionalism. The job site was kept orderly and neat whenever they worked. They were also considerate and conscientious while working in and around the home. Levi is very meticulous when it comes to planning, cutting and setting tile. The floors and walls of my home were considerably uneven, and extra preparation was necessary. Levi made sure all surfaces were properly prepped beforehand. The tile for the bathroom shower was challenging because many small tiles had to be cut and then aligned; it was no easy task, but they pulled it all. All the tile work overall showed good design and craftsmanship. Their professionalism, attention to detail and good nature sets them apart of their peers. I would recommend them without hesitation.

He was very clear and concise with expected timelines and explained that the only unknowns were products possibly disrupted in the supply chain due to Covid/Port Congestion. These guys are the most professional handymen in Huntington Beach.
