I do not recommend working with this company. I did two closings for them first week of March, 2024. I received payment 60 days later and that was after I requested them. I did a closing for them on May 1st, 2024, it is now June 21st, 2024, 52 days later. I have emailed them several times over the course of two weeks, called and left voicemails and comments on snap docs client link page with no replies. We work hard for their clients. The commercially grade scanner/printer, good quality paper and laser toner ink isnt cheap. We are professionals, and deserve payment. I owned a real estate title, closing and escrow company for 14 years and prior to that, I was the director of a correspondent lending division from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Coast to Coast receives their check at funding and expect us to wait weeks. The system is already flawed but to actually pay us weeks later and only after we request it with no return communication. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

No stars is more like it. This company doesnt pay their mobile notaries! Its one excuse after another. They are a cheapskate company that charges the clients $400-$600 and then offer $30-$50 to the notary. I say offer because then the crooks wont even pay the amount they offer. ILL NEVER WORK FOR THEM AGAIN. Wonder how theyd like it if we took the order then didnt complete it timely... Maybe then theyd wake up

I do not recommend taking any signings from this company. They underpay and never have clear requirements indicated in their order requests. I just saw reviews from 2016 saying they paid the same rates. It’s been 8 years since! They definitely know how to pin you. They list the minimal requirements and pay you accordingly. When you get the order, it’s huge, witness requirements, scan backs, and more issues. You have to do the extra work for free because if you don’t the title company rejects you and you get marked with low ratings. Be cautious!

Warning to all notaries and signing agents out there. Read these reviews and save yourself the trouble. Coast 2 Coast offers the lowest pay and then when you complete the job and all the extra requirements they stiff you on payment. I have been waiting 75 days + for payment on 3 different orders and they have stopped communicating and have not paid me. Please save yourself the hassle and just do not take jobs from this company.

If you want to waste your time chasing a signing agency down for payments with EVERY SINGLE ASSIGNMENT then this is the company for you.Edited to add that since becoming a Notary, they have consistently given me work. However the pay is rated at $30 per loan mod and if you ask for more due to mileage they either flat out dont respond or they pull the order altogether..In the beginning i never had to chase them down but Ive been doing signings for them for nearly 2 years in this last year, every single signing I need to sign in and message and ask about payment and sometimes I need to do it multiple times in a row. My last couple of signings that were completed, havent gotten a response and its been 63 days when their net is 30-37.

Do not recommend working with this company. They wish to dictate your fee and although they have a “negotiable” button, they completely ignore your terms. The difficulties in assigning makes the process of final payment, very questionable. We run businesses at our expense which includes vehicle, computer, printing & supplies. It would be wonderful if this work could be done just to help someone out but let’s be serious!

I have not been paid and they canceled the order after documents we’re received after shipping confirmation confirmed delivery and the title company also confirmed delivery I will be filing a lawsuit as this has caused me a great deal of stress!

I received an order to complete a Loan Application for a client and I asked questions to confirm all information with Maribel Gilmore Scheduler before accepting this order. After receiving the documents it was a completely different order so I explained that my fee would increase.. She then became irate on the phone and told me they didn’t get that much money from title for this order so she would have to remove me. I said ok that’s fine. She then said I’m gonna get a bad review as a notary because I’m cancelling at last minute… I kindly explained to her that I was not canceling, but my fee will be increased because she provided FALSE INFORMATION. I even explained that I have a screenshot of the order when it was originally sent … She got MORE IRATE and started SCREAMING. I said please remove me from the order and have a nice day and disconnected. I’m happy I recorded the call for quality and insurance purposes. Due to her unprofessionalism I would never work for this company again. Customer service goes a long way and how you speak and treat people says a lot about your character.

This company consistently pays slow. Their policy is 30-37 days after closing, on Fridays. Every check I have received this year has been 40 days or more and one was 52 days. I shouldnt have to contact them to get paid.

I have worked with C2C for about a year now and I have absolutely nothing but positive experiences with everyone at this organization. First, Id like to say that C2C has paid me consistently and on time, every time. I have never had payment issues or had my rate reduced for any reason. The owner, Lisa, who I have never met in person, has put together a great team at her company that communicate effectively and efficiently. There is always someone available if there is ever an issue or concern at a signing appointment, prior, or after. Being a signing agent and a business owner, I feel grateful for having a business partner like C2C who helps you build your business and reputation. I am grateful for all the opportunities they have given me and continue to give to me and appreciate our mutually beneficial business relationship.

This company is awful and should be ashamed of themselves. Paying notaries $30 to print dozens of documents, read their requirements thoroughly, travel to the customers home, then they want you to send the documents back to them. And clearly according to the reviews $30 is all they want to pay meanwhile they are getting hundreds of thousands. I was actually initially offered $50 but the deducted $20. You can make this as a mobile notary. Shame on them!!! Also they were rude! And did not even submit the payment for 30 days. Moving forward I would never accept such a low dollar amount to do a notary job.

Coast 2 Coast is great because they give new loan signing agents the opportunity to gain experience in the field. They offer excellent training videos on their You Tube page, their team has always been friendly, professional and responsive when I have questions about an assignment, and they understand that we all make mistakes and don’t put you on a blacklist as long as you handle the error professionally and expeditiously. I am grateful that Coast 2 Coast took a chance on me when I was new and that they still continue to send me work.I especially enjoy working with Mike Melendez. He is on top of his stuff! After I indicate that I’m available for an assignment, he always calls to confirm my availability and a second later I get the assignment! When there is an issue with an assignment, he’s very responsive and handles the matter quickly. He makes working with Coast 2 Coast easy and enjoyable.I highly recommend that all new signing agents start out with Coast 2 Coast and when you’re ready to move on to higher paying assignments, then just move on and give newer notaries an opportunity to gain experience. I just started my Notary career after retiring from being a landlord and investor in September 2021. I was very skeptical because others said there is no money in it. I beg to differ! Coast 2 Coast is the best company for so many reasons. Mike keeps me busy. They help you and provide training for LSAs. If you make an error, they dont badger you. They allow you to die it as easy as possible. They are all very courteous. And I never have to worry about getting paid. They pay exactly how they say theyll pay!If you are a loan signing agent, you will stay busy with C2C! 90% of my signings come from C2C. I love this company.

C2C is a wonderful company. I have worked with Coast2coast for many years. They helped me to get started as a notary when I knew nothing and now I feel confident as a notary. C2C also has been offering free zoom training for notaries which is very interactive and informative. It is a great place to start for notaries who want to gain experience. They will show you samples of documents that you will come across in loan signings and how to complete it correctly and they usually open up for questions at the end of the sessions.C2C also has many who have had experience as mobile notary publics themselves so they are sympathetic to the needs of notaries and are willing to negotiate fees when they are able to. For any negative reviews given I like to remember that there are two sides to every story and its worth giving the benefit of the doubt until you can experience for yourself.

We have used Coast to Coast as signers multiple times. They are always quick and detailed with their communications as well as available to us when we needed. The notaries they have sent we’re very professional, kind, and patient as we are in our late 80s & 90s. They were helpful in explaining terms that we did not understand as well as giving us time to call our loan officer and or Title when we needed more information. I have zero complaints and would use them again and again. We have also referred many of our friends to them and they have used them as well. I also would like to mention in this precarious time of COVID, as seniors we are especially thankful for the extra precautions every notary automatically took to protect us, including but not limited to wearing a mask, gloves and having sanitized pens and other items. This helped put our minds at ease that they too cared about our health and well being. Please do not hesitate to use them. You will not regret it. As a retired Veteran my experience was 5 star!

Great company to do signings for! The work is super consistent and they pay out on time. Lisa gave me my first signing and actually called me on the phone and shared some helpful tips before getting started. Kasey works extremely hard to make sure the packets are completed properly and I dont think notaries realize how difficult of a task that is. Overall, I would definitely recommend C2C at any stage of your notary career. I am a NSA in Southern Oregon and have done quite a few signings for Coast 2 Coast. They are great to work with and reply ASAP if I have any questions. They pay the Friday after net 30 days after signing and their accounting staff is amazing. If I don’t receive payment after the Friday net 30th day all I do is email and they send the check. Great company! As a mobile Loan signing agent/notary I have done several successful signings with them. Easy to work and they pay like clockwork. They even offer FREE live training seminars as well as youtube training videos. Again free!.... I’ve been working with C2C for over a year and they have been a great partner to work with. I’ve probably done well over 50 loan signings with them in 2020. They provide several bids via Snapdocs platform on a daily basis. The pricing can be a bit tight but if warranted they will work with you and will accommodate on those very special occasions. Their phone support isn’t always available but they do call back and follow up via email rather promptly. Getting paid is rarely an issue as they do provide eDeluxe to their NSAs which I appreciate.

Coast to coast is horrible with payment. Their payments are net 37 or so. However on more than 7 occasions I have been up to 63 days and no payment for the work I ha e done. When I send them a invoice their response is no invoice is needed.... Well no invoice I need but they continuously weeks late with my payments... just horrible

I had no issues with them before. However, my last client I had a horrible issue. They forgot to upload the documents and tried saying is there, had to reschedule the appointment. I was kind enough did not charge extra because the client was really nice. Uploaded everything almost four days later after the signing in the call me said the client should have signed every signature Affidavit. I said okay let me go honest mistake. Well they told me via email and text everything was taking care of do not worry. I went to snapdocs to make sure I am still getting paid. They said they will not pay because of lack of communication. I tried calling and text to the number they contacted me on said email, emailed three times to the different representatives plus their main and still waiting for a reply. I will not get paid for a service I rendered even though I responded to everything and was told don’t worry about it. Make sure if you are a notary do not and I repeat do not use them very poor service and will try to stiff you.

Today I watched videos on how to complete an assignment involving Trust docs and Virginia did an excellent job of explaining the procedure in detail. I have to follow up on payment but theyre pretty good to work with. I am an NSA and feel pretty good with purchases and refinances but they also send out debt managements. Ive done one and had to go back for signatures. Personally, I prefer loan docs but if you can get good at debt managements, theres definitely some money to be made! Happy to work with them.

I used to work for C2C, there for 10 years! The goal was to make the Borrowers, Escrow & Lenders happy. I worked alongside so many great experienced signing agents, to complete 10,000+ loan closings, who had the same goal in mind. Notaries in all 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and can help with international signings. Some notaries wanted to get rich on every file, I always wondered IF they were the home owner taking out a loan, how much would they be willing to spend on a notary?

I would give them a 0 if that was an option. All their good ratings must be by their friends or people they pay to say good things about them. When I first started I was happy since they have volume to take on their assignments. With time I learned that they pray on new notaries with no experience to pay the bear minimum and on top of that treat you like you are their personal employee. Their communication is horrible. They will only communicate for the following reasons 1) accuse you of doing something wrong 2) let you know they will be reducing or not paying your fees 3) demand you correct a mistake. No manners no exceptions do as we say attitude. Dont even get me started on what they think a mistake is. I learned how not to be taken advantage of by the signing companies. How to counter low ball offers and how to value myself and time by working with them. I had an emergency and lost a family member. I had to travel out of the country immediately. Almost 4-5 days after a signing because thats how long it takes them to review documents and let you know if something is needed. They were texting, calling and emailing me like a bill collector and I explained the situation but, they are not kind and didnt care. They removed me from their list of notaries and gave me an unprofessional review. Which will now affect my future assignments with other companies. I know that my work is good and I will take this as a learning experience. Research and be selective when starting something new. I have had nothing but a great experience working with Lisa Bittner and her company, Coast 2 Coast. She is a very hardworking lady, and I appreciate that. As a Loan Signing Agent/Notary they have given me ample work. I have always been able to reach them and they are very professional. Wish I would have read these posts before taking assignments from these people. Beware! They are not fair in their pricing for assignments. They offer $75 for assignments that they are making $150 - $200 on. Then the staff is extremely rude. Using all caps when they talk down to you. Then give you about 5 seconds to respond then send another text, call, harrass you. Then are extremely rude, especially a woman named Cynthia. On the flipside if you have a question or concern they are nowhere to be found and dont answer or return calls. And yes, they do pay after 30 days and for less than the contract amount with absolutely NO explanation why. Terrible people. Terrible work ethic and overall just unethical and dishonest people. Hope all the money you are stealing from notaries who do all the work is worth the bad karma.

Notaries should steer clear of this signing agency. The agency does not give clear instructions. Employees at this signing agency will call and YELL at you if you have not dropped their documents off, even though the contract states that notaries have until the end of the business day to drop documents. Company does not pay net 30 even though that is what is in the contract, when calling the billing department they dod not answer nor respond. If notaries need assistance it is very hard to get a hold of someone after hours (that is when most of the signings are). Lastly, this signing agency pays the least out of all signing agencies I have ever worked with. This signing agency lacks clear communication and most importantly professionalism. Would not recommend to anyone.

Arguably the WORST company I have dealt with! Took a last minute signing with them and completed the job. The lender accepted the docs, but C2C claimed they needed more paperwork completed and also asked me to back date the documents. I returned to work so I could not go back in time to fix the problem in time so the loan could fund. I explained my situation plenty of times and they continued trying to get me to go back. When I mentioned how unethical it was that they wanted me to back date documents, cut off contact with me and refuse to pay. Steer clear of this place!

They have deservedly earned a terrible reputation for low pay among their more experienced notary signing agents. Their pay offers for signings are always the lowest of known signing agencies in my experience. Low-ball offers are how they are most commonly described by experienced NSAs which is why I stopped doing signings for them. Theyre great for brand-new inexperienced notaries to gain experience from but loan signing accuracy suffers as a result of the low experience.

Went on a signing where there were 130 pages, 30 miles and the signers couldnt/wouldnt sign because of an error. I was reassigned to go out again and the invoice said I would get a total of $120 for both signings. After 37 days and numerous emails, they sent a check for $95! I have sent emails and tried to call to no avail. I will no longer do business with this company and would warn any Notary out there to not accept any assignments from them!!

They are a busy office but have robust tools in place to keep documents and collaborative communication flowing. They are fair although pricing is a bit low, but theyre negotiable. The are also good at mitigating risks behind the scenes, but they are not mind readers and need feedback to address concerns. Lastly, they communicate monthly challenges out to their pool of Notary Signing Agents and asks for feedback or suggestions. They are the exactly the type of coast to coast signing company to partner with on all fronts.

They got me. I was reluctant to accept any work from them because of their ridiculous low ball fees but I just happened to have some down time between appts and this was literally 3 min from our office so I accepted the assignment. 40 days later and after a promised date of an emailed “echeck” nothing has showed up and they’re not responding to calls or messages. I’m reaching out directly to First Am and Wells (who use them) to notify them of their business practices. 99% of signing companies, especially in Cali, are scam artists and they almost always go out of business within 5 years

I have been in communication with the Coast 2 Coast since the beginning of my Signing Agent journey. I find that Lisa Bitner (owner) is a great person to work with. The company issues e-checks every Friday after a net 30 days pass from the signing date. It can be confusing and sometimes even discouraging coming into a new field without knowing the pay out structures etc in comparison to the initial cost it takes to be self employed, meaning printing, ink, paper, travel etc. long story short. Don’t freak out and listen to the notary rotary jumbo jumbo your good. Take the jobs. Set your rates.

However, Virginia from Coast 2 Coast does an awesome job training Notary Signing Agents and people who want to become NSAs, via live webinars and and recorded uTube videos. The training is very comprehensive, cover every possible situation and error your can think of. She displays a great sense of humor while still being professional and shares even her own mistakes so we can learn from them. Virginia knows how to connect with her audience, which is hard when it is via zoom. She introduces the functions of the different departments within C2C, which is very helpful for Notary Signing Agents.

When i first became a signing agent i didnt realize it took 30 days or more to get paid so i kind of bashed them about it (sorry) but now i realize they are just like any other signing company. You definitley need to know what youre doing because their isnt much contact unless something is wrong.

American Title apparently uses Coast 2 Coast for their notary public on loan signing documents. I was told my first notary would be at my house at 630pm on Saturday night and she never arrived. I called her and she said she told Coast 2 Coast that she couldn’t make that time but nobody told me. Then I was told that somebody would come out the very next day (Sunday) and when I called this new notary she said she would need to look at the paperwork and call me back. I texted her later in the day and she never called back. Then at 3pm she just shows up at my house and I wasn’t home. I had to rush back to get all the papers sign. I never leave negative reviews but their communication is just horrible- avoid them at all costs !!

A pack of paper cost $10 gas is $5 gallon. Why would I print out 3 packets for $30 get in my car drive 10 miles and waster a hour of my life. I dont care if its a modification. You didnt modify the price the bank give you so why stiff the notaries who do all the work.

As a notary contracted multiple times, they are usually reliable and pay on time. Sometimes representatives are a bit rushed and text communication can always come off a little clipped. Overall Im happy to work with them, though the payment to the notary is a bit lower than standard for the area.Again, Im happy to work with them and will continue to do so.

This company is unprofessional in the way they treat Notaries. I had a signing that I needed help on and the gentlemans tone with me was abrupt and he was rude. they also removed me from a signing without even letting me know that they were going to and I was on the phone with them about 15 min. I was almost at the client only to realize on snapdocs they removed me. They pay peanuts and its a lot of pages to print

If they want quality notaries to be working with them then they should really pay more attention to how they are conducting themselves over the phone.
