We needed to move furniture from San Jose with drop-off and another pick-up in Sunnyvale and drop-offs and 2 locations in San Bruno. No problem for Clutch Moving. They handled the project like professionals should. Great communication before the move. Friendly and competent movers. Highly recommended!

I had a good experience working with Clutch Moving company for my move. They were very responsive during quote/estimate, and answered all my questions. Prior to the move day, I received a call to confirm the details which was helpful. On the day of my move, I received a call from the crew to let me know their arrival time and they showed up exactly as planned. Kevin, Angel and Javier were professional and efficient. They made the move so smooth and much easier than what I have anticipated. Highly recommended!

Dear Clutch: a week ago I had a move within San bruno. Not easy move because I was on the third floor, with an elavator, with many doors that had to be opened. WALTER, JEFFERSON, AND OSNEY, were tops with their care and attention. Amazing how they got my heavy futon and frame and the 100 plus boxes, plus other furniture. They moved in a good pace, with all my stuff was moved. They even got the quick request to move out everything before noon as my escrow was amazing closing at that time. They took a short lunch and moved my home items into my new place. Amazed how they could stack those small boxes up towards the ceiling, making use of the bedroom for most of the boxes. I was so happy, with no stress, with Ray, in the office making me feel so secure. The price of the move was so worth it and I do recommend Clutch. My brother had small moves (3 times) and a large move to Santa Rosa. You know, they will get the move done when promised. Moving can be stressful but Clutch make it easy, especially, when I had packed my boxes two weeks in advance. Also, I had to change my move date because my escrow did not close yet, and they were happy to reschedule for me. Thanks a million for all your hard work: Walter, Jefferson and Osney. You are all appreciated.

WARNING!! Movers knew 2 trucks were needed but tried to fit everything into 1; when forced at weigh station to remove overloaded items into 2nd truck, reload was sloppy and cargo unsecured. NEARLY ALL FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED, SOME DESTROYED! One antique item mysteriously disappeared. Hardwood floor suffered major scratch moving out. 1 star only for good customer service and cheap prices, the rest was painful. The pictures tell their own story...

I regret booking this company. I was told my move would be only 199 plus 5% off and now they have charged me over $300 for this move which I am trying to dispute. My move was a quick 30 minutes. Leslie Anne Paguyo who is the consultant repeatedly told me she will get this fixed and taken care of all to have to now dispute this with my bank. She misinformed me and made it seem like they would take care of quickly. They believe that I should be charged this amount of over $300 when in fact I have invoices showing that I should only be charged $199. I will NEVER recommend this company. Good luck if you do book. I have been dealing with this for over 2 months already.

We used Clutch Moving Co for what should have been a quick move of furniture. Unfortunately the building was not equipped with an elevator big enough to fit some of the furniture. The crew quickly pivoted to resolve the issue.The crew was also confronted by an irate truck driver at the loading dock and handled that situation with grace and professionalism.

I don’t often right reviews but Clutch Moving Co deserves a giant shout out.I was given an itemized quote that was clearly an indicator they knew how to manage and provide a professional move. My needs were a little complicated as less furniture needed moving and more boxes of all sizes and weights (professional artwork) plus 4 large delicate (1 was rare) container plants. To top it off the outgoing had a split set of stairs and the ingoing home had 3 fiercely steepStaircases.I requested 3 Movers and the team Esteban and Paulo led by Jesus arrived early and surveyed the amount of work and got right to it. They were swift, diligent & professional at every level. Asked appropriate questions about our needs and handled the behemoth mounds of boxes and belongings without complaint and ease.My partner and I were pleased and relaxed though-out the whole move. It was a long day but they delivered everything unbroken, orderly and even cleaned up as needed. Did I mention the 3 flights of stairs?Clutch was referred to me by a discerning friend and I am so glad I took their advice. If you take this review to heart, you will likely be as highly satisfied as I am.

I work for an Exterior Design firm that offers high end, white glove services for delivery to our clients around the bay area and Clutch Moving has been FANTASTIC to work with. They are responsive, well organized, and have a great system for tracking, receiving, and inspecting items and give notifications promptly if anything is out of the ordinary or does not pass inspection. Their inspections so far have also been of a very high quality control which for our clientele, is incredibly important. They are also very fair with their pricing and make it easy to schedule deliveries with clients. Every site visit, they have been respectful of the homes we work at which is also incredibly important in our Industry. Run away as far and as fast as you can from this company! Everything started out great and one of their reps helped move our furniture into our garage so our home could be staged for sale. It finally sold and on moving day, things went well again. The contents of our 2400 sq ft home furniture filled up two trucks. The trucks were large but not massive like you see with some of the big name companies. I was informed the next day we were overweight and would need a third truck which was an additional cost. I was not given the time to come and see what could be moved out of one of the trucks to make weight. From then on everything was rush rush rush and I even had to get on a plane to meet the movers at our new home in Arizona a day earlier than expected. Once they arrived I was supposed to be given white glove service. HA HA HA! These guys wanted to dump my stuff as quickly as possible and refused to move the furniture located in my garage in California into their respective rooms. They stated they couldnt because the furniture was loaded from the garage in the California home. I tried to explain that the furniture was in the garage because of staging. They still refused. One of the movers made a hole in the wall with a bookcase and then I saw him move that piece over the hole to cover it. The next day, I discovered duct tape holding my desk together, and then my desk fell apart when the tape was pulled off, which destroyed the finish. The icing on the cake was when the bed fell on the floor in the middle of the night when my husband and I were sleeping in it. We were lucky not to be injured. The movers never put the bed together correctly. The company wanted to reimburse me just $180 because of ALL the discounts I was given. A discount is only a discount if you are given the level of service that is advertised. I would have been better off selling all my belongings before we moved, adding that to the $18K it cost to move (thats after all my discounts) and buying everything in AZ I needed once I got here. We made the mistake of not getting another estimate because this company was highly recommended. The reviews were good, and for a local move they are probably ok. Do not hire for an out of state move!!

We had a few very large/heavy items and multiple flights of stairs, making it a challenging job. I’ll divide the review into 3 sections:Before move : prompt communication, clarity on all my questions!During move : kevin, walter, jose did an excellent job of helping with our move. We have a townhome and the stairs were difficult to maneuver but they made sure to not get any scratches! They came on time, completed the move in 5 hours, and took very quick breaks! I cant recommend Clutch enough! The office people were super communicative and so were their movers. We used Clutch for an intercity move in early May. (This review is long overdue!) We mainly needed help moving our big furniture pieces and I contacted them with less than 1 week to our move-in date. Clutch moving did an outstanding job with our residential move from San Mateo to Daly City. It was easy to set up the appointment and get a quote over the phone. The representative who helped me set up the move was friendly and patient and knew all the right questions to ask. They called the day before to confirm the appointment and make sure nothing had changed that would affect the bid.The movers arrived right at the beginning of the stated arrival window and packed up our one bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. Everything was safely transported and placed into its designated area in the new home. Only one picture frame was broken which is pretty great considering how many items they moved. The movers were friendly and helpful. Overall it was an excellent experience and we would certainly use them again.

Clutch sent four movers for our small job and it got done very quickly. There was one minor issue with scuffing the floor when a piece of furniture was dragged but they did apologize and dealt with it appropriately. Theses things happen.They were done before using the three hour minimum which is good but it means I paid for more than I needed. Thats the trade-off I guess. I really appreciated that they were able to schedule us on very short notice and were great to work with.

I am very pleased with Clutch Moving Company. Kelly helped me with the scheduling, estimate, and listing out the items. She was very helpful and responsive. I received some email reminders and instructions on how to prepare for my move, which I thought were very helpful. On the day of the move, the team (Shean, Doug, and Antonio) were amazing! They were on time, professional, fast, and handled everything smoothly and with care. I was so amazed of how fast they were. They certainly know what they were doing. We were having our floors redone in our home and needed to have our oversized built in refrigerator moved into our garage. I called so many moving companies and none of them would move our fridge. Finally, I came across Clutch Moving Company. I explained our situation and the woman that I spoke with on the phone was so kind and very helpful. She said she wasnt sure if it would be possible and asked me to send in pictures. After I sent in the photos, she scheduled an onsite consultation so that one of the movers could come and look at what we needed. He arrived right on time, and brought a complimentary moving box and roll of tape. So nice! He looked at our fridge and told us that his company could move the fridge, but we would need to first have a plumber come out to disconnect the water line. He even recommended a plumber, which we used. The man that he recommended was also very nice, responsive and professional.Because Clutch has a 3 hour minimum, we decided to go ahead and have them move all of our furniture out. It was all going into our own garage, so pretty simple. They quoted 7.5 hours for the job, which I thought was a little steep considering it was just furniture. We had some packed boxes as well. Three movers arrived right on time the morning of our move. After explaining what needed to be moved and showing them around, they suggested I use paper covers instead of blankets in order to save money. After all, the furniture wasnt going into a van where it would be jostled around, just stored in our garage.After that they got right to work. Holy smokes those guys work fast! They wrapped every single piece of furniture either in plastic or a combination of heavy paper and plastic. They put it all in our garage in a way that ensured it was not only safe, but also allowed for walkways to our garage cabinets. And our huge monster of a refrigerator? No problem at all. They worked together and handled it like true professionals. In the end the move took 3 hours exactly, which is what we were charged for.We were extremely pleased with their fast, careful, professional work. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and call them again, should we need movers in the future.

We recently completed an in-town move with Clutch, and we were very happy with the service. We have had to move more times than I care to remember, and I’ve never worked with a moving company that was easier to get in touch with. They were very transparent about pricing and what could alter the final bill, and they walked us through what they needed from us at every step of the way. The day before they called to double check the list they had and ensure we had the right number of people and trucks to complete everything as promised, which was great because I realized there were a couple of things we would need to add. On moving day, our crew (Gio, Evaristo, Ed, and Emerson) were on time and worked hard until the job was completely done. All in all, great service for a great price.

I was able to book the move with only a weeks worth of notice and they had open availibility for my preferred day and time! Very good experience with this company. We used only for packing up the truck with furniture; all boxes we did ourselves. The movers were on time, thorough and professional. The furniture was wrapped well and there was no damage on the unpacking part of the move. Price was definitely not the least expensive but the guys worked hard and did a great job with everything so we felt it was worth the cost. Company has good protocol for communication and follow up as well. The person who came out to do our initial estimate was detailed and took his time to get things right. We would recommend this company.

We had a terrible experience in our dealing with Mary Ann from Clutch moving services who misquoted the total amount for our move and the company refused to honor their commitment to usWe had a very simple move planned from one storage unit to another with minimal stuff. We explained this several times to Mary Ann and she assured us the max we would be charged including labor charges n truck would be 360.The final move was done in about an hour, without any usage of the truck and we were fine to pay the agreed amount to honor the agreement we had with Mary Ann.When we got the final estimate it was 450 with a completely different breakdown and no acknowledgement of the reason for the difference.Even the mover who helped us mentioned that this was way higher than what should have charged ( closer to 250)We spoke to Nina who kept explaining the new breakdown without making an attempt to check back with her team member who we had spoken to and give us an explanation for the earlier quote. We were finally charged a higher amount than what we had been told as the max all inclusive cost.We are very disappointed with how the company and its associates have handled this. Its shows a complete disregard for customer experience and inexperience on part of the company associates.This should be rectified with immediate effect.[Replying to the companys response)Hi,Couple things- The key issue that is missing that is left unaddressed is that your company rep Mary Ann, verbally quoted on the phone an amount that was a total of 360. The move from a storage facility in Hayward to a shipping container in South San Francisco only took a little over 3-1/2 hours, and that included driving time! When I got moved by another moving company from Downtown San Francisco to the Hayward storage, with 4 people, it took almost 10 hours, and cost me a lot of money, more than double of what I paid Clutch moving. During the move one guy broke a very expensive lamp while I was helping the other. After everything was done, the final quote of the moving cost was very different from what was actually spent during the move.
