I called Cloud Comfort Friday afternoon regarding a problem with our AC unit expecting a technician next week at the earliest due to the recent heat wave. They sent Julian the following morning on Saturday. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant. He diagnosed the issue immediately and answered many questions regarding a new system which seems the best way for us to go. Cord sold us a new heat pump the same day. We felt very comfortable with the knowledge and expertise of both men.

I was fortunate to have Sky (technician)come through to help assess my unit with some options on what to do. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. More importantly he wasn’t pushy and he extremely patient.I felt comfortable and trusted his advice, therefore decided to move forward with some of his recommendations. He was extremely helpful and accommodating with pricing and did a great job at follow up. I had a few bids but ended up going with them mainly because of the attention, help, and customer service that he provided.

Francisco Hernandez and Cord Caballero are the ultimate professionals. Francisco first arrived on site for a regular maintenance visit. He was extremely thorough in his work and discovered several issues very early on. He described the issues with detail and answered all my questions. Unfortunately, the old unit in our condo needs replacing. Cord Caballero arrived on site quickly and assessed the situation. We discussed all options extensively and to my satisfaction. The Cloud Comfort team has taken the lead and is working with our HOA to schedule the work. I am really impressed!

Its been 2 months since I got an entire new HVAC system installed. I shopped around a few places and these guys gave me the best quote. Unfortunately, I might have been the unlucky one with all the great reviews left by other happy customers.A few days after my install was complete, I tried to turn on the heater but it wasnt working. I called another company to come out (authorized dealer for the HVAC system) and they mentioned there was a leak in the furnace. They thought the unit was defective.When I called cloud comfort, they didnt see or mention this. They said they needed install a new vent to cool down the furnace because its overheating. They acknowledged this initial miss in calculations and were kind enough to refund me the $130 I paid to the other company.Cloud Comfort promised to come out ASAP, but they missed 2 appointments. This was frustrating.Fast forward to today (2 months later), my heater again is NOT working. Not sure why Im having so many issues with a brand new system I paid 10k for, but something was NOT installed right. I really really hate to leave a negative review for local companies, but I do believe this is what reviews are for. We need to be honest about our experience and let companies like Cloud Comfort know where to improve their services.I will wait to hear back from Cloud Comfort and update this review with more details to see how they handle this 2nd botched job.

I had an HVAC change out done a year ago and needed a maintenance check up. The technician, Bronson was extremely friendly and offered some helpful tips on how to better care for my unit. I would definitely recommend them!I will warn that if you want to schedule a maintenance check up, they will have a long waiting period. I ended up waiting almost a month and half for them to schedule me in for a simple check up.

Today, I had the pleasure of experiencing Cloud Comforts inspection service, with inspector Francisco H.Throughout the inspection, Franciscos attention to detail was commendable. Notably, he meticulously cleaned dust and spider webs from the AC control box—a level of care and thoroughness that is increasingly rare in todays service industry.Moreover, Franciscos expertise was evident as he patiently explained each aspect of the inspection process, from the equipment used to the functionality of every furnace and AC component. Its been so cold lately and of course my Heater went out.I didnt know who to call but luckily I found the Yelp reviews online and it showed Cloud Comfort HVAC at the top. I called them and Myra (who was so sweet) scheduled an appointment for the next day. The Technician they sent was Schuyler Wood (Sky) who was there on time, he was very Friendly, Knowledgable and Professional. He diagnosed the problemright away, ordered the parts needed and came back to finishthe repair. The job Sky did was Excellent and it was an absolute Pleasure to work with him. Now my heating system is workingperfectly! And the best part is the cost was less than I even anticipated. I called Cloud Comfort because my tenants said the furnace was not working. Julian arrived and met with my tenant. Julian calls me up and tries to shame me with my tenant present and loudly says it’s my fault, because I’ve neglected to maintain the furnace and that a $3,500 part would need to be replaced before he can even do a diagnosis. And he said fixing the issue could cost even more after that as the part is needed just for the diagnosis. I told him to send me the report, so I can review it and that I’ll need to get a 2nd opinion. I never received the report. I called another company the same day and the technician came out the same day and said nothing was wrong with my unit. He completed the maintainence service, which cost me $65 and it’s been working fine ever since. I never received a report from Julian and according to him, he couldn’t do a diagnosis, but now they have the nerve to reach out for payment for a service where I never received the diagnosis report—probably because they didn’t want a bogus report in writing. They also keep calling me by my tenant’s name. I don’t know if the other technicians are any good, but Julian is a complete fraud. I’ll never use Cloud Comfort again.

Only stage 1 complete which was to diagnose. I didn’t haggle on price, but it seems in return Tony (who was super polite and nice) added in two services of the overall unit when he replaced the motor next week and then again in 6-12 months. He tried to breathe a little life into the motor, but that’s a fingers crossed while we wait for a replacement motor. Everything he said made sense (and I’m mechanically inclined) so I didn’t get the sense he was trying to pull anything over me. All in all, very satisfied.

Cloud comfort diagnosed a problem with my hvac duct system that other hvac companies missed. As a result, they fixed the problem rather than replacing an entire system, saving me almost $30,000. Tony did a thorough evaluation. Alfonso and Anjum installed the new duct and made additional minor repairs so that the ducts worked effectively. Highly recommend this company.

This 5-star review is for Julian, the technician who came yesterday to confirm a diagnosis on our HVAC motor. He was right on, and gave us a price quote that is way lower than the previous company. He was very efficient for us to sign the contract and today hes already got the new motor and replaced it without eating lunch! Knowing we’re heading into record breaking temperatures this summer, I started researching for great HVAC companies in the area, that can come out and tune up my AC unit. I found Cloud Comfort in Yelp with stellar reviews and contacted them for a quote. After reviewing several companies’ estimates, I decided to go for Cloud Comfort and scheduled them right away. On the day of, our technician Tony called ahead to let us know his ETA. When he arrived, he was extremely courteous, polite, and respectful of our home. He confirmed what we needed to get done and got started. Before he got further into the tune up, he stopped and let me know respectfully, but up front, our unit’s terrible condition (given its old age and lack of maintenance). He showed stats of the unit’s performance in real time and details of the type of system we have and what our options are. Tony also answered a lot of my questions, and though finding out you need to replace and upgrade (even of you expected it) is not always good news, I was very satisfied with the knowledge I got, which is as valuable if not more than the tune up service we received.In short, we’re very satisfied of our experience with Cloud Comfort and will be keeping them at the top of our list for our HVAC needs.

Last year I had Cloud Comfort replace the 30+ year old ductwork under our house. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price, so I decided to have Cloud Comfort inspect our heater. Schuyler Wood was very responsive and gave me updates on his expected arrival time. Upon inspecting and cleaning our furnace, he showed me pictures of the inside of the furnace and explained that our 20+ year old heater while working, was not as efficient as it once was and that it should be replaced. He was not hard sell and stressed that we could still use this heater. But suggested that it would not be as efficient as it once was.

He came out to give us a second opinion on a repair after our usual company wanted to swap out all the thermostat wiring, the thermostat, and the thermopile and quoted us over $1500. The folks who installed my new HVAC system were wonderful and I was happy with the work. However, 6 months after the installation my system stopped working during the hottest week of the year and the earliest service they can provide is 11 days after I called for help. Having equipment that was hardly used break in 6 months is concerning but the lack of technicians to handle repairs in a timely manner is unconscionable.

We had a great experience with Cloud Comfort. We have a mini-split system in our house with 3 separate indoor units and one central outdoor condenser/compressor. I priced out a bunch of options and Cloud Comfort was very competitive. Our units were working fine - we just wanted to do basic maintenance to keep them in good shape. The best deal I was able to find was their semi-annual maintenance service. For our setup - they come out twice a year to do basic maintenance and it ran about $275 - but a lot of other places were charging in that range for just ONE service. Sky was our service technician and he was absolutely lovely to work with. Very respectful of the space (asking if we were a shoeless household and using a drop cloth on any furniture underneath the units). Very communicative of the arrival time. (We got a confirmation message the day before the appointment - and they arrived within the timeframe window they gave us) The whole thing took about 2 hours - cleaned and sanitized all the filters and did a thorough clean on the outdoor unit. Very happy with the job and even happier to know they’ll be back to keep the units running smooth year round! Highly recommend them!!

I called Cloud Comfort for an estimate on new ductwork because another company said I needed them. I decided to get a second opinion. Eddie came by and went into the attic to assess. While Eddie could have easily told me that I needed new ducts and charged me thousands of dollars for unnecessary work, he instead suggested alternatives that would improve my air efficiency. Also, he was on time and communicated and explained everything he was doing and took photos. He also insisted we call back if the adjustments made did not make a difference. I decided on Cloud Comfort using the Daiken mini splits. Cord came to my house and answered all the questions I had and gave me an estimate. I was very impressed by Cloud Comfort. We had them come by to check our older (~18 year) Lennox system that was failing to ignite sometimes. They said that we could try to repair, but it seemed like a motherboard/circuit board issue, and the cost of that would be 50% of a new unit, plus the existing unit was starting to leak carbon monoxide. Given the age of the system, we decided to replace with a newer and more efficient unit. Tony was incredibly professional, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process and a genuinely friendly person. Cord was also terrific and was able to get us a deal on a new unit. I was saved by a highly competent technician who showed me photos of what it might look like. Given the limitation of my apartment, it would not be aesthetically acceptable. Also, an install, given the only possible location for the compressor, would not be to code and would not easily allow future maintenance of the system. Nothing wrong with my unit but wanted a tune up/check up done as I dont think my unit was looked at in a long time. The technician was there may be 15 minutes and says everything looks fine and just upsells me on a bunch of stuff. I didnt feel comfortable with going with these guys for these services so just paid the fee to show up.When looking at the checklist, there was a list for checking indoor items but he didnt even come inside my place. Bottom line is that Cloud Comfort installed central A/C in my house at a competitive price and very quickly, too -- literally two days after I got the estimate. The system works great. So all the major boxes are checked. Getting into the details, I was impressed by Cord, the guy who did the estimate, because he seemed really knowledgeable and even drew me a diagram of how the A/C system would be integrated into my existing central heating setup. However, Cord was not involved after the estimate stage; the actual work was performed by two other guys I hadnt met. I would have much preferred if Cord had been the project manager seeing the project through to completion -- his absence felt like a disconnect to me. For example, there was a question about where the external A/C unit should be placed in order to be compliant with the city code, and Cord told me one thing but the guys who came to install it told me another, and Cord wasnt around to manage the situation. Also, I got more outreach from Cloud Comfort about writing a review for them than I did about the permitting process, for example, which I had to call them about for a status update, having heard nothing for a week and a half after the installation. So, overall, I would say that Cloud Comfort is a professional operation thats a cut above your typical local HVAC options, but having a knowledgeable project manager seeing the project through to completion and following up afterward would take them to the next level and take my rating from a 3.5-4 to a 5.

This team is excellent. Julian came out initially to repair our squealing furnace. He priced the part and found it would be four figures to replace. On top of that, he pointed out our ducting was asbestos (and part of the reason we had poor airflow, another longstanding issue), and something we might want to address down the line.Given that, I figured it might be a good idea to explore upgrading the furnace and ducts. Julian quickly brought out his supervisor, Cord, to examine and price a new furnace and ducting, and they both took the time to point out what they would be doing/replacing should we opt for replacing the system, and the reasoning behind their recommendations. Cord even sent me literature on other furnaces when we were trying to determine if it was worth it to pay extra for a 96% AFUE vs the 80% we were replacing (it wasn’t), and answered all my ignorant questions (there were a lot) with lots of patience, and no upselling.Their pricing is competitive and transparent. Best of all, they had a team out a few days later to knock it all out. The install team took the time to cut and notch certain areas to make sure some of the old returns and registers fit more flush/snugly than before, and did a great job patching areas they had to widen or tweak for new ducting, and everything was cleaned well. On top of that, during final hookup, our thermostat got smoked. The crew left and came back later that evening with a new thermostat, no questions asked - then they sent a tech out the next morning to make sure everything was dialed in.Yes, the overall cost was more expensive than just replacing the part, but it’s easy to justify given the value. Our system works significantly better than it did before, is more efficient (our furnace runs less now and for less time), and is way better installed than the old system. 10/10!

We had a dated system that required complete replacement and Cloud Comfort was able to come out within a couple days, provide an initial estimate and complete the work within the week. They worked so quickly and efficiently to complete the whole job and the quote was extremely reasonable for how much work they did. They quoted us to replace both HVAC and furnaces and replace a limited amount of duct work that was damaged and ended up replacing, securing, insulating everything to the point that makes us comfortable itll last at least the decade. We called 2 other companies before Cloud Comfort and no one was able to figure it out. He answered all our questions and provided us with several options to fit our unique situation. We went with mini split units since we don’t have an attic in our place and they were an efficient option. Cloud Comfort did a complete replacement of my AC and Furnace. Luis completed the estimate and he took his time to crawl into the attic and check out my old system, which is not an easy thing to do in my small 1921 Craftsman house. Their price was similar to the other estimates I received, but the clencher was that thier price also included cutting a new access panel to the attic, which others werent willing to do. Francisco and Ricardo were my installers and they were very professional, clean, and hard working. They stayed late when they ran into some challenges, and ended up swapping out the condenser when it wasnt working as it was supposed to. They definiteley made sure everything was working correctly before they left. They also kept a clean work site and were very polite. Luis set up an appointment to come by and check out the install after it was completed to make sure the job was done correctly. He was very thorough and wanted to make sure everything went well. They definitley prioritize customer service and work hard to keep you satisfied. Ill definitley be a return customer and highly recomend them.

Beware of this company, the technician they sent me miss diagnosed mine air conditioning unit I hired them because my air conditioning unit wast not operating to its fullest capacity, their technician determined that the unit was almost dead and that for $1900 he could try to put new freon but there was no warranty it would work normally because the compressor was giving up and the reverse valve needed replacement and that the lines were clogged up I told him at that price it was best for me to just put a whole brand new unit and he immediately started trying to talk me into buying one from them. After paying him $89 for a miss diagnosed I called one of my friends to tell him about the situation and luckily he was available to come to my house that same day and fixed my air conditioning unit in just about an hour leaving it working to its full capacity with ice cold air and didnt even change one part. Always get a second opinion because there is a lot of scammers out there!

I called on Cloud Comfort HVAC to take care of some preventative maintenance items on my new-ish system and particularly coil cleaning that I really shouldve done before it developed the signature dirty sock smell. They were able to fit my appointment in right away and their technician showed up right at the opening of the appointment window.
