Jeremy did an awesome job repairing our air-conditioning system. Not only did he replace the blower motor that failed, but he insured that the system was properly charged with Freon. The system is now running more efficiently and saving on cooling cost. Job well done.

I recently used Climate & Energy Systems on 3 separate issues. On each occasion, they arrived exactly on time, they were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. The one technician, Joel I felt was exceptional. He not only explained exactly what he was doing but also was extremely efficient. The cost of all three jobs was competitive with the industry. My elderly mothers A/C stopped working on a 106 degree day. I called Climate and Energy Solutions (they installed the system for me 3-4 years prior) at 7pm. Before 8pm, Jeremy called me back and said that hed be on the problem by 7am. He called me at 7:30 am the next morning, and discovered a blow fuse which he promptly replaced. We had a couple of issues regarding a warranty fix for our solar and battery set up. When I contacted them, their customer service was absolutely amazing. They got right on it and sent somebody out almost immediately. They quickly discovered the problem and took immediate steps to solve it. Thank you Jeremy.Actually adding additional:Huge rave......we had Climate & Energy Solutions out about 18 months ago to get information about HVAC upgrade. At that time, it was explained that instead of new HVAC System it would be better to put Splits in both Bedrooms & close the vents, that way we would only be heating or cooling Living R1oom and Kitchen. We had the Splits installed as well as a Whole House Fan. That in itself saved us some money.We called in November and Mark came back to explain Solar or other solutions to lower our PG&E bill. While Solar wasnt conducive to our situation, Mark did suggest adding a Split in our Dining Room. It would heat the Kitchen and Living Room. A crew came up in December and installed the Split. I read an article from PG&E not to turn off the Split as it wouldnt have to work so hard.I just paid our PG&E bill, it was exact $200 less than last year and we are actually warm this year.HUGE Thank You to Climate & Energy Solutions for the great work your techs did as well as the extra money in our pocket.Highly recommended!

After the positive experience from the solar install, I would trust CES for other services or upgrades for our home. Its actually been over a year now, so weve had plenty of time to see how well the solar system performs and we are happy. Ive also recommended CES to friends and neighbors and I have seen their trucks on our street a number of times since, and yesterday they completed another solar install on my neighbors house right next door on Terrace Drive. I have worked in commercial leasing in the past and I did my research before choosing CES. I knew the price was a good value. Since install, the system has performed well, so I would look to them for other well designed upgrades. They focus on doing good work and dont have the added cost of a fancy show room or sales force that translates into better prices. Originally was recommended through friends to contact Matt about getting solar installed and he was very helpful and easy to deal with and any questions handled. Once things progressed and I authorized an install, I dealt with Ryan who designed/setup the install for me and ended up installing sooner than the estimated install date and they finished in pretty much one day. It has been almost two months and I still havent received anything and they will not return phone calls. Installers were not professional and poor quality. He also tested the temperature in the house afterwards to make sure it was working properly. Found and called this place for my mother-in-law. They were able to get us an appointment very fast, Josh was an hour early, AND they didnt even end up charging us anything. This last point was because Josh discovered that there was nothing wrong with our heating system. But instead of charging us 89 dollars anyway, he told the truth and gave us his advice for free (turns out we werent waiting long enough for the heat to kick on. Oops!). Our project proved to be much more difficult than anticipated and Climate Energy Solutions saw it through with the tenacity it takes when the unexpected happens. Our main service panel had been compromised by an unknown unscrupulous contractor prior to our purchasing the home. Now, we have a new main service panel, properly connected solar to PGE, upgraded HVAC, a rewired back up generator, and a new water heater all courtesy of CES. I cant ever remember winding up a problem customer like this ever in my life. The coordination and communication it took with PGE was extensive. Ill be a return customer for sure. They had to fix someone elses work so that we could be legal and safe.

They took our information and a service technician called us within 20 minutes. Brain called us and said he was finishing up with a client and would be out to our house soon. He was here about 25 minutes later. He was very kind when he arrived, wore a mask before entering our house. He located the issue quickly and was able to replace the fuse while he was here! This was the third company I contacted, and when Valentino looked at our AC, he said it needed a specific part replaced. The first said we needed a whole new system($12,000), the second said part of it needed to be replaced (starting at $5000). Climate & Energy Solutions did it for $4500! Excellent experience from start to finish. Long story short, had HVAC issues on the hottest day of the year. Contacted my home warranty and several HVAC services. Dan at Climate & Energy Solutions responded before anybody (at 10:00pm, no less).The next day, again, before anybody -even my home warranty provider- got back to me, I was contacted by Hope at Climate & Energy Solutions, and was set up for a time the following day (everybody else was at least a week out when they finally did get back to me, and even my warranty provider could not find such quick service).Jeremy arrived the following day 1/2-hour early (I’ve never had ANY contractor of any kind arrive early - it was AMAZING), listened to me describe my issue at length, then set to work. Very disappointing we have been trying to install our solar for almost five months, we signed the papers October 31st and now in March we still dont have it. We have to chase them down to get any answers. Seems to be excuse after excuse why we haven’t gotten our solar and if I knew this from the beginning I would never have gone with this company, beware it’s very hard to get any answers once you sign your contract you are not a priority anymore. Our AC stopped working on Sunday evening. I filled in the form on their website and they called the next morning and had an appointment for me that same afternoon. Brian was amazing! We hired Climate Control to install a new heater and all the duct work required. Instead of removing and replacing the existing duct system as was indicated on the invoice, they replaced only part of the duct work and the part they didnt replace blew out the following year. The result was a cold house and a high bill. They came to inspect it and quoted $700 to fix it even though we were still under warranty and had been charged for a complete replacement. We ended up having another company fix the problem. Not happy with the customer service at Climate Control and will never use them again. DONT USE CLIMATE CONTROL!!!

Due to the issues I was experiencing I had concerns of major damage due to water and replacement of my evaporative cooler. He discovered the float was out of adjustment and not working properly which caused the pan to overflow draining constantly onto my roof. He also discovered there was dirt and debris building up at the seam of an addition which caused water to leach up under the shingles. This was the reason for the leak through my bathroom vent. He made all the necessary adjustments and cleaned the drain pan. Everything has been working perfectly since then. He also informed me of a service they have to come out twice a year to service the swamp cooler which would in turn save money throughout the year.

My AC quit on a day that is gearing up for a high of 104. i called Climate & Energy Solutions in the morning, and Hope answered and said she would try to move things around so that I could be helped the same day. Abe was supposed to come between 12-2 pm, and he called around 10 am and said he had finished a job early! Fantastic! Abe and Chris were able to quickly diagnose the problem and fixed my AC within 45 minutes. The price was way less than I was expecting, not much more than the $75 service fee, and they informed me about a maintenance program they do (2xs a year, one visit for heat and one for AC) for only $129. I highly recommend this company. These guys were polite, professional, and handled the issue. My house is cool again!

We moved from Southern California last year in June and even though we thought we knew about Chicos summers, we were not prepared. Jason was recommended to us by friends and his presentation in August was excellent, we felt that he had our best needs in mind when designing our system. We were unable to make a purchase in August but called him this past March. Jason not only was able to keep the cost the same as 1st quoted we were able to have fewer panels that were more efficient and could all fit on the back of our house. Do not recommend. The technician came out promptly and did get the unit started. A few short hours later, the unit quit working and had the same problem. A call to Climate energy to report their failure to fix it correctly, resulted in being told the unit had to be replaced and couldnt be fixed which prompted me to ask why they would charge me to fix something that couldnt be fixed and had to be replaced.I decided to get a second opinion before spending thousands on a new unit and the new technician found that the relay switch was bad, something that climate energy solutions completely missed. They disconnected the capacitor climate energy installed and instead replaced the relay switch. The diagnostics this new company ran, were totally different from the ones climate energy did and gave a different impression on the over health of the unit. Is it old, yes.. does it need to be replaced, NO.My call to climate energy prompted a call from the owner, Jason, who launched into a long speech about its an electrical unit and things go wrong all the time, if the unit quit working after their tech left, its because different parts broke after their tech left and not because they did a poor job. I told Jason that I had hired another company to come out and give me a second opinion and reported their findings and asked how their diagnostic tests could be so different from the ones their tech reported. Jasons response was that its an electrical unit, things go wrong and change all the time. They are unpredictable and not their techs fault if their readings or results on their tests were different or inaccurate.In the end, Jasons position was that their job was to get the unit started, not to fix it. After all, thats what the customer wants, and their fix can last days, weeks or sometimes months. In Jasons opinion, even though they failed to fix the unit, not only did they do the job they were hired to do, but they did it well. I disagree.In the end, the unit was fixed by the second company and for a great deal less than what climate energy solutions charged. Its unfair and in a sense, dishonest to charge for a job that was not only faulty but was also inadequate.

So, its 106F and both my AC units are down. I have been paying for maintenance on both units every 6 months for 2 years with Climate & Energy Solutions. Suspicious, I called a different company to come out which is when I found out my concerns were warranted. The maintenance was not being done and directly lead to the failure of both units.In the past 2 years using this company, I was charged a second service call to flip a breaker which the technician had (deliberately???) left turned off after a service call. I have had a unit stop working within 24 hours of service and was charged a weekend emergency call when I called them back out. The technician said, The new part caused another part, that was probably worn out, to fail. Okay. I paid the bill. Twice, I have gotten double billed for services and had to prove I paid them. One of those times they threatened me with sending my account to collections.Beware! I wont be using this company again and I am warning everybody I know.

After hearing about Climate and Energy Solutions free home energy audit working with PG&E as a certified contractor, I was told that I qualified for the PG&E rebate program. They were able to replace my 27-year-old heating and air-conditioning unit with an efficient Fujitsu mini split system. Included with the rebate package was replacement the old aluminum dual pain windows with modern Milgard retrofit. Not only do the windows look great, but function much better than the original ones. With the new attic ducting and blow-in insulation it is unbelievable how it improved our homes energy efficiency. Finally, replacing my 10-year-old single-stage pool pump with a new modern programmable dual stage pool pump. So, I recommend that if your nearing the end of the useful life of your heating and air-conditioning unit, get a whole home energy audit. I was very satisfied with timely completion and quality of the work. And amazed on the amount of the PG&E rebate and energy savings!

The Technition, Jeremy, arrived early, immediately checked for clogged filter (cheap fix) before checking A/C unit coolant levels. Found coolant level was low, topped it off and offered a product that would seal any leaks in the line. Noticed immediate improvement of cooler after fix. Great job!

If I could give Zero stars, I would have.This has been the least transparent company I have ever dealt with. ESPECIALLY with their sales rep David.My wife and I purchased solar for our home. Owned solar. David told us that the PACE loan route was an easy one because of no money down, and was a state loan that was easy to apply for. David also told us it would be no problem to transfer to another home owner if we sold our home.Well....... 8 months after the solar install, we decided to sell the home. We come to find out that EVERY home lender ended up telling us that Pace loans are LIENS against the property through taxes. There is a federal law that states the federal government will NOT insure any loans given out for properties with a pace loan lien attached to its property tax. So although the lien is transferable technically....... NO lending company will issue uninsured loans to anyone. Under any circumstance. So....... we had to pay the entire loan amount off before we could sell the property.It gets better........ in the CES fine print, they will NOT transfer their 25 year warranty over to the new home owner who inherits the solar. Even though it is only 9 months old, the labor warranty is completely void.I can only speak for my solar experience with CES, but with the way they’ve handled business....... I will not be seeking them for future business and telling every single one of my friends about their lack of transparency and integrity.

This service that was provided was unsatisfactory. The service was disapointing. The technician was suppose to contact me in regards to quote for parts needed to fix the heater. No call received.Getting a second opinion by another provider technician who informed me that the part that was suppose to be replaced was not going to fix the issue of why my heater is over heating. It is very disappointing that technicians are selling products instead of repairing them.

July, we recieved our new heater and A/C -summer of 2018, we had no working A/C freon was leaking. January 1st, we need a new compressor. The heater is not working.We just spent $20,000. Iam not happy with their company. When things break. Response time is quick. Since we made this complaint to staff, the owner will not talk with me. Josh, the HVAC technican came out today and replaced our heater and A/C, a whole new system. I respect a company that will take responsibility and stand by their work.

CES thoroughly and completely designed a system that met my unique needs. Due to a number of trees around my house some solar companies wanted to cover my roof with panels everywhere, while some said they couldnt do it at all. CES found the optimal locations on my roof for 17 panels and the production has exceeded their estimates. In addition, they replaced my HVAC with an updated, more efficient system and added attic and ducting insulation resulting in a PG and E rebate that again exceeded my expectations. The rebate and tax credit combined covered almost 1/3 of my solar costs up front. They were timely, communicative, and responsive.
