One word to describe my experience with CJs Garage Door. Outstanding.I had a new garage door (and all the accompanying hardware) installed today and the technician, Jeff, was professional and knowledgeable. Jeff also went the extra mile to clean up sloppy work done recently by another garage door company.I also want to give a shout out to Neil. Neil was the technician that first came out for my initial call to CJs. Worst garage door company out there! first came out to replace our spring. Then shortly after, I had to call them back because the garage wouldnt close at all because it wasnt programmed correctly. A week later, the cable is all messsd up and pulling the whole garage out of the tracks. We call on a Saturday because we cant secure our home and the work is suppose to be guaranteed and have a warranty. The owner literally says to my husband I dont know what the duck you want me to do about it? Seriously?!? Thats how you talk to a customer when you made a mistake and caused the problem. I do not recommend anyone using this company and Im filing a complaint with the better business bureau as well.Should be able to give a negative star!!!

First Responder response time!! Loud bang noise when door spring broke while I was working in my garage about 11:00 AM. I got online and read a few reviews here on Google, Yelp and Nextdoor. Left a VM for a down-the-street company. Then I used Yelp Messaging to contact CJs and two other companies. So now its about 11:40 AM. CJs had nearly an instant Yelp Messaging response along with an availability time of NOON (!) to 2:00 PM. About 12:15 a CJ truck arrived and Jeff introduced himself and was ready to work. Jeff replaced both of my double garage door springs, lubed and serviced the rollers, cables, and pulleys. I had a paid invoice in my email at 12:43. Wow. Jeff probably would have been done sooner but before he could start I removed my SUV and two motorcycles for clear access.Im writing this at 3:15 PM and I have not gotten a VM call-back from the other company. Nuff said....CJs is da kine!

He knew what was wrong right away after talking to him. He was able to install the new opener right away and it fix the problem. The other company told us that its was the door and he adjusted the door but it did not solve the problem. He charge us for adjusting the door and will charge again to replace the opener when he should have replace the opener first.

I woke up today and didn’t know what the universe would give me to face. Today the adventure was a garage door that would not close after it was opened. I called CJ’s at about 8:15am. They said they could send someone at 10am. Not only was I sent text messages about their arrival, which was perfectly on time. I just wanted to give a shout out and a HUGE “Thank You” to CJ’s Garage Door Service!!Last Thursday evening I came home and my garage door wouldn’t open more than a couple of inches and I was unable to manually open it. I could not be more thrilled with CJs Garage Door Repair. Our teenage driver accidentally hit the door backing out of the garage, so the door was coming off the rails. I had to have someone come out and look at our door which had a panel going wonky. They sent Steve to us who fixed us up, but didnt make unnecessary sales suggestions. He was straightforward about what we were looking at, gave me the reasonable fix options, and answered all of my very silly questions without making me feel dumb. What a terrific experience! We asked for a service on our garage door as it wasnt working correctly on our new home that we just closed two weeks ago. Jeff came and serviced the entire unit very professionally, made a few adjustments while doing the servicing - all while he was explaining what he was doing. Our garage door broke and after trying to fix for 30 minutes decided to call an expert. Before calling someone, we had a fear that someone might show up that might overcharge us or will do a mediocre job. Thankfully, in our first web search CJ’s name came up. Great price and great service. A house visitor accidentally hit our garage door. CJs was able to replace our garage door with an identical replacement and hauled off our old door. Due to the new California law requiring garage door openers to have a battery backup, we also had our garage door opener replaced. My garage door suddenly went on the blink and after calling several other repair services I spoke with CJ and decided to go with him based on his ability to provide me with professional courtesy and his very fair price quote. My garage door spring broke over the Thanksgiving day weekend. Luckily it broke when we had one car out of the garage so not super critical to get it fixed. I texted CJ Monday morning at 7am and he had a technician at my door at 8am. The guy was friendly and fixed it up in no time. I immediate started researching the price of replacement doors while I waited to hear back from CJs Garage Doors. I was surprised and relieved when he didnt seem at all concerned about the crack. he explained that happens all the time to the cheap doors they install into these cookie cutter neighborhoods. He said he can get someone right out to install at strut support which will fix the problem. Indeed it did, the tech tightened the spring due to the added weight and lubed the door up. I highly recommend CJs Garage Door Repair. I called Corey around 9:30 and he arrived right on time at 12 noon. 1 of my 2 springs broke so I could not raise the door. Corey carries springs with him and he replaced the broken one in about 30 minutes. My particular spring was discontinued so Corey used a stronger replacement spring. At no additional cost he lubricated my hinges and tracks reducing thenoise by about 70%. He noticed a small tear in the door and a crease. He moved a brace from the lower part of the door to the level of the crease also at no additional cost. He specializes in garage doors and was extremely knowledgeable about the springs. He was more than reasonable in his price. He gave me a 3 year guarantee, so I can call him about any future problems with the springs at zero cost. Corey is very professional and customer oriented. Both of the springs broke on my garage door. I called CJs and they made it out the same day to get the garage door working again. Neil came out which is one of his workers that has been there a couple of months. The repair was very fast and Neil was very nice. However the garage door started closing a little rough the next day. I called and Neil came back out that same afternoon. He was determined to figure out the issue but was unable to so while he was at the house he called CJ and he scheduled an appointment to have CJ come out and he was able to get the issue resolved. He just had to loosen up the springs a little. He even replaced one of the brackets that was cracked for no charge.The price was very reasonable and they were very professional to deal with. The evening before Easter, our garage door was accidentally broken. It was so bent and tweaked it could not be manually closed all the way. Very early on Easter morning, I was searching on line for a garage door contractor who could come by the next day (Monday) to assess the problem & give me a quote to replace the door ASAP.
