I had my car serviced here for its 5000-mile service and it didnt cost anything which was simply part of the purchase. I was very pleased with the service except for one thing. I was told it would take from one and half hours to two hours, so I went for a walk and was back in about an hour, then sat on an iron bench in the shade. All good and did expect to be there for a while. My car was finished and came out while I was sitting there about an hour after I dropped it off. It still took a good thirty minutes before I was called and told I could pick it up. I do believe I could have been called sooner and not left sitting on an uncomfortable bench. This was the only problem I had with what was otherwise good friendly service.

Terrible Dealership. My cars transmission has been out for 3 weeks and chuck Patterson doesn’t want to get my car in for another 3 weeks and will not give me a rental in the mean time. I have paid over $2000 for my own rental when chuck patterson should be liable for that. Also 2 of my cousins transmission went out within 5 months of each other. Save your money for a better dealership!

I visited Chuck Patterson Toyota because my rear right brake was locking up. The service writer blamed it on my vehicle lift, which has been fine for over 10,000 miles. This felt like an excuse to avoid warranty work.Despite always having my car serviced here, Im losing trust. I was told my cabin air filter was changed, but my AC still smelled. Today, they tried to upsell me on a new filter just 2,000 miles after the last supposed change.This dealership seems to be cutting corners and misleading customers. Very disappointed with their service and integrity.

I had an amazing experience at this dealership!! When I first arrived, they greeted me with a friendly smile. Then we told them what we were looking for and they took us over the used car lot, which was what I was needing, and they showed me a few options and they were very friendly. They kept they kept my Sale price under the price that I was asking for which was nice . I am very thankful for the experience that I had there and would highly recommend this card dealership.

Brad Magee was very accommodating to my busy work schedule while also doing his best to help me find the perfect new vehicle for my work needs. As someone who works in sales, his demeanor and courtesy/professionalism made me want to work with him and Chuck Patterson even more. I changed my mind as I was shopping at least once or twice in terms of what I wanted for a vehicle. I recently purchased a new Tacoma and am very pleased with how accessible Brad has been when I’ve had questions as I’ve familiarized myself with my new vehicle. My wife and I both enjoyed our experience and would rank the service at six stars if we could. The dealership took great care of us and we will definitely shop there again in the future.

Stopped in for transmission fluid—a clean, professional dealership. Excellent customer service just to pick up a gallon of fluid. I was greeted, quickly assisted, and out the door within 10 mins of dropping my car off for maintenance work. It required a lot of labor time, however, they discovered a couple of other issues and were able to make adjustments to complete the extra work as well. I was able to pick my car up at the end of the day. The tech talked me through the work that was done and assured me if there was a problem to simply bring it right back to be corrected. I will continue to utilize Chuck Patterson for all my vehicle needs.

Nick and the technicians took great care of me and my Tacoma. Had some AC issues driving home from the coast and they got me right in. They got everything serviced and AC blows way colder than before. I am very picky with who I let work on my vehicles and will definitely be back for future services and inspections. Chuck Patterson overall has been outstanding since I purchased my truck in Oct 2021.

Scheduled service weeks in advance, arrived 15 min early. Sat and waited for an hour and a half, after waiting that long got up to check status. After this much time and only because I inquired to the current status the service writer informed me that the parts were never even ordered. He was barely apologetic and then argumentative when I presented possible solutions to the situation. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!On the other hand when I purchased the car there thw sales team was phenomenal.

Review for Parts Dept: bought a really expensive starter motor and as I started working on my Sequoia, I found out that I never needed the starter motor anymore and never got it dirty, never bolted it up, never removed my old starter motor, but the parts dept would never take my starter back because I didnt have the Toyota brand generic box it came with. My starter is new and its obvious, but they wont take it back. I had to go to my bank to advocate for me and it wasnt till the transaction was reversed did they call me to try to work with me, but I still havent had resolution and its been over two months since I stopped by to try to return the part. No other business Ive tried to return stuff to is this difficult.Update: I told my bank that this business violated California consumer laws because they never stated the return policy when I purchased the starter. I purchased this over the phone and no return policies were shared with me. My bank has now made my transaction refund permanent and this business was found at fault. I will also be completing a BBB complaint as well.

This place is a little dicey -- not sure I trust them. Ive had inconsistent results from yearly maintenance. Example, received a 4-5 on rear brakes then months later the readout sheet said they were full... huh? No maintenance was done in between, so I have no idea if they actually checked anything...Also, they are very pricey. Probably better to find a smaller shop you can trust than these guys.

Arriving to the dealership for my service appointment made the previous day. I was a few minutes early before my 11AM appointment time.Checking in with service advisor Nick wasnt so bad other than him stating that the mechanics all go to lunch from 12PM-1PM. He estimated things to be done with my car around noon after mechanics make their way back from lunch. He stated repair on my tire to be $40, when literally yesterday I called to talk to a service advisor about my situation and was quoted for repair at $11. Only reason I decided to come to this dealership was due to potential chances of having to replace the whole tire with I had warranty coverage I bought with the car. Which this location was the closest to me willing to take the warranty from Toyota Financial Services. As Im sitting in the waiting area, which is basically on the showroom floor for about 2 hours. I noticed something odd that one of the salesman did. Diagonal from where Im sitting you can see a huge computer screen that the salesman was using. And due to the fact I used to worked in car sales I noticed the salesman pulled a customer information aka Vinsoultions and walked away from it while this customer information is right in the open.Huge violation to customers privacy! He walked away and left it wide open. 15 minutes passed, yet he left it the way it was. Now a customer who was waiting for service to be done on his car, starts to pace back and forth in the showroom and eventually came across it and glance at it for a minute and walked away. Than follows by another salesman colleague who also glanced and walked away. Later 25 minutes has gone and the customer information is still visible. Lastly I watched the desk manager walked past and glance at it and walked away too! Yet the saleswomen who was selling a car at the time, sat her customers right in front of it.What a shame that none of the sales-mans nor did the desk manager logout of it. Yet anyone couldve walked up took a picture or started clicking and eventually violated the customer information even more.Eventually after 30+ minutes the computer finally turned off due to inactivity. Got my blood boiling, because this couldve been my personal information being leaked out without permission. And to whoever is looking for a car and you had submitted your information on their site for a car they have or have been a previous buying customer at that location looking to purchase again. You should think again before doing so. Also for your other employees be mindful of what comes out of your mouth especially on the showroom floor. Having to hear you say f*** you to a colleague with customers around isnt professional for a business. Last but not least service was horrible I waited 4+ hours for a tire repair and a recall system update and was promised that it wasnt gonna be long by 2 of your service advisors. Yall overbooked your appointments and I wasnt the only one waiting 4+ hours. lve decided if I ever have to do a replacement on my tire in the future. Ill take it to where I bought it, knowing they will coverage it with the tire and wheel protection warranty too.

Bought a car from these guys a year ago, they knew the gas tank door was broken, but kept it a secret until I filled up the first time and low and behold gas door was completely broken, these guys are manipulative liars. And now someone else in my life is having major issues with them, they placed a rocker arm on a friends truck, they did such a bad job the arm came loose and they tried to blame my friend until they looked and realized it was their faults. Maybe someone should bring a class action against this organization.

Me and my wife had a great experience purchasing our Toyota in 2021. The salesman, Conrad, was very personable and made the process smooth. We went out for the test drive, talked about finances, and walked out the door in an hour with our new car. What I really like about CP Toyota is their customer service and their service department. We get our regular maintenance done through them thanks to their reminders. It is always quick and friendly. When I needed to get extensive service done to my car (an accident), their service advisor, Nick was very professional and kept us updated on the status of our vehicle. We cant give him enough kudos. If youre a Toyota fan, and considering that new Taco, Tundra, or Prius, CP Toyota is the place to go.

Excellent experience here! It did take it two and a half week wait for the first available appointment but that seems to be the norm has everybody is busy and backed up these days...... I was most impressed by the excellent communication. Used the dropbox the night before my appointment, I was contacted first thing in the morning by Remi in order to make sure they had the details from me regarding what was going on with the vehicle. They had all four issues fixed on my truck and I picked it up by 1:00 p.m the same day. I am most impressed by the efficiency, excellent communication and very friendly interactions with multiple Patterson staff members. One of the techs even offered to watch my bicycle while I went in to square up the paperwork! The experience here was especially gratifying at a time when the service industry his experiencing its challenges.... I wont hesitate to use Patterson again and would recommend it to friends and family.

There wasnt time for me to walk home and be on time so Darren had someone from his department drive my car to take me home and test my brakes. I made it on time to my class. There is one guy working the dodge desk and if he doesnt feel you are worthy of having your truck looked at then it does and if not then they waste your time and then argue and argue until you leave. I wouldnt let the dodge guy look at my bicycle.

Car wouldn’t start. Eric came with tow truck and was superb. He checked battery, etc. The car needed to be towed—actually, to be put on flatbed. He handled everything quickly, efficiently, and politely—explained needs politely. Let me ride with him to service spot. Everyone in the Service Department has been great to work with. I was assisted by Remi during my last two visits. Remi is friendly, considerate and professional. He truly made me feel comfortable leaving my beloved Renegade in their capable hands. He explained everything to my satisfaction and even sent me a text when my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Customer Disservice.I highly recommend you do not take your vehicle here for service.I purchased a new ’23 Highlander and was told the vehicle range would calibrate after a few tank refills. The issue persisted at 1k miles they said it would take 5k to calibrate. Ultimately, they gaslit me repeatedly and attributed the problem to aggressive driving behaviors, or topping off the tank, which was both inappropriate and not backed up by the data ie. normal gas milage. I brought it in at 5k and they claimed it would calibrate after 10-15k. So, I opened a case with Toyota and it turns out Chuck Patterson just went ahead and closed the case without even reaching out to me! Thats embarrassing. The other Service Department I took it to actually validated the problem and actually demonstrated willingness to help me solve it. So, I will be taking the vehicle elsewhere from now on. If you want to be gaslit, lied to and discarded, take your vehicle to Chuck Patterson in Chico. I will gladly go out of my way to avoid any future service here.

We took our Toyota Corolla in to the Body Shop for a re-paint under a warranty issue. Lisa in the body shop was beyond wonderful, explained how things would go, and handled everything with such aplomb. Everyone in the body shop worked hard and did such an exceptional job, going above and beyond to not only properly paint our car and make it look amazing, but they got it all done before the holidays. I am so very appreciative of all of their hard work, and we love the way our car looks.

They always seem to be confused and off schedule. Something has gone wrong at every appointment I have ever had besides the very first one.

Chuck Patterson Toyota is getting 2 stars for these reasons: 1. Wrote on my bill due to you that they would inspect my breaks for safety (as I could tell they needed new rotors during my test drive) as well as fill the chip in my windshield. 2. When I was driving the day after purchasing the vehicle I tried to clean my windshield, and the hose line was chewed so it leaked fluid all over the wheel well of my passenger tire. 3. When I brought in my vehicle to have my breaks inspected as well as figure out the issue for the windshield wiper fluid leak, they tried to charge me. After much dispute I was able to get them to repair for free. 4. While waiting for the parts to come in to be fixed I was notified they had arrived. I made an appointment for the next day at 7:30am. They kept my vehicle all day and when I called around 4pm they said they didnt have the parts so my vehicle sat in the shop all day, when they could have called me to pick it up instead of me having to wait and call them at the end of the day. 5. I had to reschedule my appointment for days later and yet again readjust my work schedule to accommodate a second car appointment for an entire day. Needless to say, they are not the best dealership because of the lack of communication between different departments at the dealership as well as poor vehicle safety inspections prior to selling used vehicles. Would not recommend Toyota Chuck Patterson of Chico.

Came in with very expensive auto repair cost. Vehicle had a lot of miles on it, easy wear. They offered a solution. They offered me fair market value for my vehicle. Very kind ypung man who helped me. **BUT I had to pick my vehicle up on Saturday morning because of my own schedule. The repair section was closed, so I went to the oil and lub office. (I didnt know where else to go for assistance. Ive never been there before, and all the side doors were locked on the side I was on.) The older man who worked the oil and lub office IS SO RUDE. I opened the door, and before I could say, Good morning. and wait my turn, I was SNAPPED AT. DO YOU HAVE A APPOINTMENT!? By an old miserable looking man. SO RUDE. Everyone else there is very polite and helpful. I ended up walking away after 20 minutes and finding the big main door 🤦‍♀️. The gentleman in the office was very helpful and kind.

They asked me what color I would like, what color and type of upholstery. They said the car would arrive at 4pm, and at 4pm I looked outside and there it was in my driveway. Darren is very helpful and informative every time Im there.I will say your new cut off hours for appointments is too early. Taking your last appointments at 3:40 PM for an oil. Change is way too early. It should at least be 4:40 PM.I cant always take an afternoon off work to get my oil changed. Most people cant either.Again I love the service and just wish you could extend your hours to at least 4:30 for your last appointment.

Date of Purchase: May 30, 2020I had been shopping for about 6 months for a new vehicle. I accidentally came across the New Camry, 2020 makeover. Looks just like a Beemer or an Audi, but much more reliable. lol And the Top Trim XLE comes with an optional V-6 engine with 301 HP.I had briefly considered a Lexus, but I decided to go one step down in luxury, while getting the same reliability, and saving $10-$15 grand.Chuck Patterson Toyota was the only place in Northern California that had the EXACT Camry, fully loaded, V-6, Pearl color. Only one in stock. Although I lived much closer to Lithia Toyota in Redding, I went to Chico to check out the New Camry.Toyota was having a 0% Interest for 60 months special financing, and thats the big reason why I decided buy this particular vehicle.Chuck Patterson Toyota was very busy when I was there. All the staff, including salespeople, were relaxed and friendly. My salesperson was Jeff M. and he did a great job.When all was said and done, I didnt get any better price than what was already stated on the Chuck Patterson website. But I got exactly what I wanted and the experience was pleasant and easy.Oh...heres the clincher: Jeff said that if I buy the vehicle, its mine to ride home. He will get one of his guys to drive my Dodge Magnum V-8 HEMI back to my house 70 miles away. My answer: Done Deal.The car drives like silk. It has every safety device ever invented, including back-up camera (that I love) as well as a birds-eye overhead 360 view.I took those 301 ponies up to 100 mph on the way home and there was so much more. I cant believe Im driving a Camry now. lol

Staff are so nice but I bought a 2017 mustang from them and so far have had to put a lil more $ 10,000 worth of repairs into it. Blown gasket cap, ac compressor leak and a few other things. If your buying a used car here beware and Do Not skip on the warranty. Staff are very nice but car quality is trash.

Eric and Ainsley were exceptional! They were very patient, kind, and caring. I got to the dealership just before closing time and was indecisive about the car I wanted. They never pressured me but steered me in the right direction based on my preferences. Amy in finance was also very pleasant and knowledgeable. She gave me expert advice on vehicle warranty and helped me select the right coverage. The manager even offered to return my rental car on my behalf, but I went back the next day, and Eric drove the rental car to the company while I followed behind. Had an appt. for a squeaking engine April ‘23. Drive belt needed replacing. Done. Service tech also noted in the paperwork that the front had a clunking and looseness. Said I’d have it taken care of next visit.Had some battery issues recently, made another appt, July ‘23. Mentioned the note from my last visit and said they’d “diagnose” the problem. Turns out there is no clunking or looseness as stated by Heather. But the tech that made that note no longer works there due to “things like that”. She then acted like not charging me for labor time was doing me a favor. It took nine hours for them to patch a tire and tell me my alternator is bad for $590. She tried for $700 but that wasn’t happening.Worth mentioning Heather is the worst communicator in the service world. She repeatedly interrupted and talked over me as I attempted to highlight my issues.Do not go here for service. It’s a scam.

Went in for a leaf spring recall, they wanted $200 to put two spacer blocks in and then cross threaded and stripped out my hub cover for my lug nuts. They didnt say anything about it and I had to drill a bolt out because they snapped one off from over tightening. Leads me to believe they just hire anybody that moves. Not to mention they screwed up my steering wheel alignment so bad and told me thats the best they could do and didnt fix it. Long story short these guys were no better than your local chop shop. Go literally anywhere else if possible, 0/10 would not recommend

If I could leave a negative star review, I would. I had an oil change 7/1. The service technician Darren, used literally no words with me. At most what was said was “your vehicle is ready”. They don’t offer fair value for your vehicle, they offered 5k below trade in value and it’s a Tacoma which holds its value the best out of any vehicle. But even more frustrating is that my Highlander got a flat, I made an appointment and showed up on time and I’m still waiting almost two hours later. Proud new owners of a 2017 GMC Acadia we bought from Chuck Patterson and we did it all from afar. It was our first experience buying a vehicle completely via text as I multi-tasked working and taking care of the kids and while my husband is undergoing treatment for cancer. But the icing on top, besides it looking and working perfectly after seeing it in person, is the dealership delivered it for FREE from an hour away. (We did run into an issue after a week with the pushstart not turning completely off because the vehicle didn’t recognize it being in park (when it was) but found out it was an issue with this year and model. so thank goodness for warranties!) The maintenance department has always been helpful, prompt, and professional. This morning I called their towing department to get my car to the maintenance department. They said it would be 45 minutes and I said thats fine, I just have to get the car there in 2 hours for an appointment. After 45 minutes they called me back saying it would actually be a few hours because they got in a bunch of priority calls. They offered to connect me to another local towing service and I thought well at least thats convenient that theyll transfer my call. But no. They just meant theyd give me a number. Rather than trying to find a pen and paper I opted to just look it up. I am not impressed with the towing service.

I was working with Jeff on purchasing a new Toyota Venza and thought I had a deal in place before going to the dealership. I live 90 minutes away so I planned on getting a ride to pick up the car. I arrived to find that the car set for me was not the trim I wanted. Even worse, they sold the one I was going to purchase the night before, when I was working with Jeff via text and email. So it was one of two things: 1. He did not listen to my needs, which I made clear several times or 2. He thought he could pull a switch on me.When I was getting ready to leave, the manager Erik came over and offered to try and find one from another dealer. He actually seemed to care about customer service and honoring the commitment. He asked for an hour to call and see what he can do. Over an hour passes and I give him a call. He does not answer and I did not receive a call back later.I wish I would’ve known he would not bother calling me as I would’ve gone to the customers there to tell them in person about this terrible experience. Did not feel like a valued customer during my last visit. Quite the opposite.When I first entered the express maintenance office there was no one there. I waited for a few minutes and the service advisor, Arlen, walked in. At this point he didnt even acknowledge my presence, much less make eye contact with me. I continued to stand and wait for him to be done with what he was working which took over 15 minutes. During this time there still was no kind of communication from Arlen. He didnt even mention how he will be with me shortly or any of that sort, even though he would come and go from the office to check on something for the previous customer. As he was finishing up with that customer, after another 5 minutes or so, he mentioned to her that he is going to check me in so he can send me on my way. This was the first time that he acknowledged my presence. He did check me in after that however, and sent me on my way, but the wait until I was taken notice of was very uncomfortable and insulting. Someone should take a note that this behavior is unacceptable and train Arlen.

I provided my VIN and an appointment was scheduled. This morning I arrived for my appointment only to be told that my truck did not need the recall work. I explained to Sean, the service writer, that I had given received the recall notice, given the VIN to the service desk and had the appointment scheduled. I asked him why they would schedule an appointment if my truck didnt need it. Seans response I dont schedule appointments. He was very arrogant and dismissive of the issue. Bought a used Rav4 and they replaced one tire on my AWD system, so I immediately had to get new tires, and then found out my CV axles are going out, rear brakes are pretty much gone and front rotors have grooves in them. My husband & I were considering purchasing a new minivan awhile back, & we stopped at Chuck Pattersons to see one of their new minivans available. The salesman showed us a beautiful new one that we were definitely interested in, but the salesman really put the pressure on, & we felt like we were being interrogated under hot lights &;extreme pressure to purchase the van. It was quite intense. Somehow, we. were able to break away from the grilling pressuring & told the salesman we wanted to sleep on it & would come back the next day...We left completely exhausted & overwhelmed. We never returned. We went elsewhere to shop & finally purchased a new minivan at another dealership. Chuck Patterson reached a new low in customer service today. We purchased our Toyota Prius seven years ago and have had terrible service with each visit, but today they even surpassed their typically abysmal record. They refused to honor the extended warranty refund program because of some fine print on the document sold to us seven years ago. They may no attempt to contact us about our refund or notify us of the 60 day refund window (after 7 years!) and the shark of a salesman that sold it to us said nothing about the impossibly short refund window. Worst of all the finance officer and general manager were completely unapologetic. All that we required was that they show some empathy and provide is with a credit toward service or some small token of compassion and we would have left disappointed, rather than disgusted. Instead they passed all blame onto us and said too bad... its your fault. I told them I would never buy a car their again and their answer was, well thats fine with us. Pathetic! No wonder Chuck Patterson has a one star ratting on Yelp.

The shop manager took care of me that day. I returned for the other appt and shop manager took very good care of me. Disappointed. Took my new Tacoma in for a service check around 4:15pm. The gentleman who helped me said I’d get a call about 45 minutes after for an update. 45 minutes goes by and I call them with follow up questions I forgot to ask while dropping off my truck. My questions were answered but there was so communication as to if my truck was ready for pick up or not.. nothing! After two hours of my truck being at the shop and NO communication from the service department, I decided to call and see what the heck was going on. Of course I only get their voice mail... I go down there around 6-6:15 to pick up my truck. Everything is closed down. My truck is parked out front by the door, UNLOCKED WITH THE KEYS INSIDE. No one called me to say my truck was ready to be picked up. You would think common sense would kick in around closing time when one of your customer’s vehicle is still there but no my truck was left there unlocked with the keys inside. AND too add to my disappointment someone had enough time to do a freakin Carfax vehicle history report, write down an incredibly awful offer, and leave it on my floor board to find. SO disappointed, the whole ordeal is unacceptable and unprofessional. I called to share my concerns and was just issued an apology... I will be planning my services else where back home, not here.

Three purchases here. Two vehicles defective immediately after leaving the lot. One needed a valve job and the other had emissions issues shortly after leaving the transaction. I decided to give Patterson another shot, by buying a new truck, instead of a used vehicle. If you plan to do that, take someone to inspect and Provide feedback. As to the last transaction, everything was fine, except when it came to the mismatch between orally agreed upon terms and the written instrument. I bought a used 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Chuck Patterson last year. Its a nice car and I have been happy with it. At the time of purchase I asked the salesman Frank a lot about the car; where it came from, previous history, accidents...asked for Carfax. Frank assured me that the car came from Sacramento and had never been in an accident. (My bad for not demanding proof) After I bought the car Frank decided he should clean out the glove box. I noted that he removed what appeared to be a repair order. When I asked to see it he told me that he couldnt do that because it had the name of the previous owner on it and cited privacy issues.Recently I was shopping for new insurance and the agent said to me did you know your Jeep has been involved in two accidents? I was shocked. It had apparently been in a accident just months before I purchased it. As I said, I love the car and may very well have bought it anyway but THEY INTENTIONALLY LIED TO ME!I will never do business with this dealership again and will tell everyone I know that they are dishonest and unethical people.

In a matter of a few seconds, my entire life was destroyed in a collision. A Chuck Patterson Toyota dealership employee who was on a test drive smacked the rear end of my car as I turned into the bank. I am an excellent driver of 42 years. I am still in shock, physical pain and bewildered by how big corporations, insurance companies get away with ruining others’ lives. With A lack of caution for himself, or his pregnant customer I was hit. Where were his eyes looking? On the sale we presume? By the Toyota driver not paying attention enough to see something in front of him, may have been a mistake, however it managed to total my vehicle and caused all kinds of issues, pain and destroyed my life.It was horrific! The brand new Toyota slammed into my 2002 Forester, bending the axil and tossing my car like a slingshot. It happened so fast. I always LOOK to see if a lane is clear when I enter it! It was clear! My car was my livelihood and without it my whole world is falling apart. I have several new health issues from the accident. It has been a very difficult time getting to doctor appointments, simple everyday errands, and grocery shopping. I had to stop my volunteer work, so now I sit home alone all day everyday just lonely and miserable. As a disabled senior whose world in one second was crushed by a big corporation. I’ve always worked hard helping others and was taught others should do the same. This transition was not easy. Now because Toyota and their lack of justice I’m not going to be able to go see my only son graduate from his University, as I no longer have my reliable Forester, and have new injuries. Nowhere to turn for help and I have no way of picking up the pieces and fixing all the damage it caused me. Toyota, as a big company, probably wasnt even affected at all! I was in an accident at the beginning of the month and had my car taken here for repairs. They originally told me it would be a week for the repairs. After a week I called and they told me another week. Then yesterday I was told it would be done, never heard from them even though they said they would call,so I called them and they said it still needed muffler repairs and that it would be done later in the afternoon or possibly today. Just called them and they said it wont be done till tomorrow. This is a review from The time I walked in to purchase my car to the day I received the upgrades I purchased along with my car.The day I walked in I was greeted by a nice kid who had just started working there I had told him that I was looking for a Scion XB with a Manual Transmission, he looked around and had none on the lot.Tom came out to assist the new kid and was pretty insistent that I test drive and automatic even after I made it pretty clear I wasnt interested in test driving one.So after that they offered to look around the nor cal area and see what they could find me with a manual transmission I agreed and filled out the paper work for credit and all the normal stuff you do when buying a car and printed out with them online the car I wanted with rims, lowering springs, and the alarm system included in the price. Tom then started questioning me as to why I wanted a manual instead of an automatic with a tone like I was stupid for knowing what I wanted.They called me and said I was approved and they would start looking for the car and told me the interest rate and I was happy with it they also told me I had a $500 Military discount since I am a 100% Disabled Veteran. Every thing sounded great and ready to go.A couple of days later they get the car in that I had wanted and called me up to come in and finish up the deal and of course I was excited to say the least. I get there and they had the interest jacked up 5% more then what I was originally told which took my monthly payments well over what I was willing to pay, and then on top of that they told me I would NOT be getting my $500 Military Discount. We sat and went back and forth for a few as they continued to try and pressure me into paying some ridiculous amount and telling me how I wasted their money for them to get the car for me(which we all know gas is a write off for dealerships) so they got my blood pretty hot. So naturally I got up and walked out. They called me a couple of hours later and said they had the paper work mixed up and found the right paperwork with the right interest rate on it and talked me back into coming in to get the car but mind you I still was NOT getting the Military Discount that Scion offers. No big deal right its only $500 but still as a Disabled Vet I still believe I deserve it. So I went ahead with the deal anyways.Now the day comes along that all my goodies I ordered come in. This is where Star number two comes in and is the only reason they got two stars from me at all. honestly I should be writing a totally separate review for their service department since they were the better part of my experience and would be getting a 4 star review alone but again this is about my purchase from start to end.I pulled up at 830am I had and appointment at 9 my car got pulled in at 845ish didnt get touched til about 1030am no big deal I to was a mechanic by trade and worked in dealerships so I know how the shop works. The service writer Darren was extremely nice and very helpful I have nothing bad to say about him what so ever. The Mechanic that worked on my car was a great kid as well and did a good job with the install of my accessories. After all was said and done I pulled out of the dealership just shy of 4pm. In their defense it was a Monday morning and they were slammed.This is the second car I have purchased from Chuck Patterson and sadly the last I will ever purchase here. Playing the interest rate game and not honoring my Military discount and hassling & pressuring me to buy the car just ruined it for me.

Sales, Fantastic service!Body shop, Excellent service!Service, never again....I had an oil change, tire rotation and windshield wipers replaced while my car was in for body work. $189.00, which they also changed an air filter I did not authorize. I received NO service check up report like other Toyota service centers offer, their rates are NOT within range of other centers and their phone service is rude and unacceptable. The window sticker for my next oil change doesnt even have the appropriate mileage for my car. I guess they figured since Im a woman, I wouldnt notice. Next time, I will go to a Toyota Service Center that knows how to treat its customers with Respect.

DONT BUY HERE. Would give zero stars if I could. Purchasing a brand new vehicle here is no problem, just wait till you get the oil changed. They will have your car for hours, then when you pick it up, its either still dirty oil, or its over a quart low on the dipstick. They then tell you thats how toyota wants us to do it when you question. When you proceed to have issues with your new vehicles engine, likely due to shoddy maintenance work, and end up on the side of the road, they will tell you theres nothing wrong with it when you take it in. This is only one of the many nightmare scenarios weve dealt with so far. Toyota should be ashamed to have this business selling their vehicles.

BE WARNED! Do not do business with Heather, she was completely dishonest! Told us our recent payment to Toyota financial didnt show up in their system yet and we would be refunded the amount we paid, since the quote for what we owed was not accurate, based on that recent payment. We were lied to so that we would make the deal and now she womt return phone calls. The most shady car salesperson ever!

My husband and I bought a Rav 4 from Chuck Patterson and we would not recommend buying there. Go to Yuba City or Redding. Actually purchasing the car was fine. We really liked our agent but after buying the experiences went from bad to worse. We bought $2k worth of extras for our new car, during the buying process. They were factory Toyota parts purchased directly from the dealership. The estimate for completion was completely off. It took double the time they estimated. We made an appointment for a Friday because the parts dept said it would be ready to pick up that evening. We didnt get the car back until Monday night. They damaged part of the car during installation. So a new part needed to be ordered. We took the car back in a week after the part was delivered and they ordered the wrong part.During the purchase process we decided to purchase extended warranties. Which per the contractual agreement we can cancel FOR ANY REASON within 30 days. We decided to cancel them and went in to sign the paperwork. The agent we worked with gave us a lecture on how we were making a bad decision and asked us how old we were, insinuating that we were too young to make a sound decision on the warranties. Were 30. We also had to justify our decision to cancel. After arguing with the agent he said he couldnt process the cancellation and wed have to come back.Ive never had a worse customer service experience. We live 30 minutes outside of Chico and this whole experience has been a huge-stressful hassle. We will be taking our car to Redding for all maintenance from now on.

Needed 2 more of these due to repairing my exhaust issue with my 06 D.C. 4X4, called Chuck Patterson to order these and they quoted me $20 a piece even though last time they charged me $12-15 each last time. Looked online (THANKFULLY), 2 different OTHER TOYOTA DEALERSHIPS had em listed at $10.41 EACH MARKED DOWN FROM $14.41, I asked if theyd be competitive an honor the price from the OTHER dealerships dude said no I can only mark em down to $15 each, I said koo, Ill order somewhere else at that price listed went online and got them for a total of $21.50 WITH SHIPPING from THE OTHER nearby Toyota Dealership.

Avoid Chuck Patterson like the plague. You would hope when you buy a $50,000 plus vehicle BRAND NEW that you would have a company stand by their product. Especially when your vehicle is less than 8 months old and still under warranty. They have given me nothing but grief and no one will return my phone calls. So frustrating to be working with a business that cares so little about their customers. Next time Im taking my business somewhere else. Anywhere else.

The worst experience I have ever had trying to buy a car. They said they had the car I wanted 3 times, when actuality they did not. They called me at 5:30 the night before I was suppose to sign the papers to say they could not get the car. They lied, and deceived us. My family has bought every car we have owned from them and I would have expected some honesty, but we will never buy a car from them again. Be careful if you are thinking of buying a car from them.
