Today I was in Salinas, about 2 hours from out of town and needed a part to complete a job. It being the weekend, all of the supply houses were closed. I ended up calling Chris, just to see if he could help me out in my dilemma. Him and his crew went out of their way to make sure I had the right part and sold it to me at a fair price. Him and his team made me feel welcomed, even tho I could be considered a competitor.This interaction speaks volumes about this company and to the high degree of integrity they represent.Thank you again for your help today!

Have used Chris Wilson plumbing in the past and they did a great job. A more recent somewhat urgent issue with my main water pipe. Joe came out the next day explained what the problem was and took care of it and also spotted some issues with the old system that he recommended get fixed at some point.some to prevent futur problems- the system is almost 60 years old. Chris Wilson has an answering service and they Always respond within a reasonable timeframe. Highly recommend. Them and Joe did a great job!

I called after hours with a non urgent clog. CWPH called me back first thing in morning. Their team both called and texted me time updates and the plumber arrived slightly early. The plumber was friendly and courteous and completed the job quickly and cleanly. Very impressed & will use them again.

The company confirmed the appointment a day before, notified me when they are on the way. The technicians were courteous and on time. Cody was very knowledgeable about floor furnaces that are old and new, repairing or replacing. He also answered my questions related to heaters. The cost was reasonable. Overall, I feel I can rely on them for fixing, replacing and maintaining heaters.

My experience with Chris Wilson Plumbing, situated in the picturesque city of Seaside, California, was nothing short of a horrifying nightmare that served as a potent reminder of the monstrous side of humanity. As a simple passerby requiring nothing more than a parking space that was legally mine to use, I was unceremoniously thrust into an unexpectedly dreadful spectacle.One could imagine my surprise when, upon parking in front of their business, the owner and their employees erupted into a hostile, uncalled-for tirade. Their aggressive threats of violence were devoid of any sense of decency or respect - principles that should lie at the heart of any reputable business. This relentless aggression was exhibited simply because they perceived my responsible, legal parking as an affront to their establishment - a gross misinterpretation of their entitlement.Among the daunting array of threats received, one chilling statement takes precedence. A staff member, a black man, brazenly threatened to shatter my car window. Note - I hadnt interacted with these individuals prior to this incident, making the whole ordeal even more disheartening.People engaged in such a servile profession should personify qualities of respect, kindness and professionalism. In stark contrast, the team at Chris Wilson Plumbing radiated an aura of downright hostility. The brazen threats and undeniable incivility emblazoned my memory like the mark of Cain.By their sad performance, they’ve proven that customer service, decency, and the bare minimum of respect for fellow humans, let alone clients, are concepts as alien to them as the far-flung reaches of the Milky Way. They have revealed themselves to disregard the essential ethical rules of business ownership, or basic human respect.Make no mistake, their behavior is a blight on the great reputation of Seasides supportive community and thriving businesses. Cody Esquivel from Chris Wilson Plumbing was very knowledgeable and professional. He figured out some involved plumbing in our rain water system and changed out filters. He also did maintenance on our split unit heat pump water heater and split unit air conditioning. It’s very convenient to have a one stop shop for plumbing and HVAC! Although, the HVAC services provided were much more expensive than those I have got from other HVAC providers.

Ramiro was the best!!! Ive used other local plumbers in the past few years here and service was always kind of meh, but super pleased by my experience with Chris Wilson. When I called for service, operator was pleasant and informative, got plumber to me in a few hours even though it was already late in the day. Again, Ramiro was fantastic. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Went above and beyond to inform me about what was causing the problem, both short-term and long-term fixes required. Pricing was totally reasonable as well. Lou Rodriquez was a professional from start to finish. My home is 21 years old and the 3 zone furnace wasn’t providing heat to the 3rd zone. I also had a leaky faucet in the kitchen. Lou checked all the air vents and discovered the 1st zone wasn’t getting heat either. My house was cold. He clearly and logically presented the problem and 3 options to resolve the issues. I decided to replace the furnace. Now the tricky part: the furnace was in the attic accessed by a spiral staircase in a small space. Multiple checks, measurements and head scratching later: the broken furnace was dismantled and carted downstairs and the new furnace was installed. Now my home is warm again. Oh, and that leaky faucet? Lou discovered that the assembly under the sink had loosened up and after he tightened it up; the leak vanished. Ahhhh…..I highly recommend Chris Wilson Plumbing & Heating Repairs!!!! Plumber Rogelio is awesome. My neighbor used him once or twice for work at her home when he was with his prior employer. She also went on about his work after I talked to her since she asked me about the truck in our small neighborhood. Hes very efficient and extremely competent as you would expect from a senior plumber. I was afraid of getting a less experience person. Theres many ways to skin a cat for the job he needed to do and he went for the most reliable way which would be less prone to clogs. Thanks for sending him.Hes our guy for now on.

Chris Wilson Plumbing and Heating wanted to charge me over $100 for an estimate to replace my heater. If I went with their estimate the would refund $90 of the estimate cost. I dont want to gamble $110 on an estimate the may or may not be competitive with the other reputable vendors that I contacted.I am not just kicking the tires on this, I am ready to complete the heater replacement this month. This may be a good company but they were not even considered due to this uncommon policy.

My Rannai tankless water heater is working good however, it still flashes 10 and 12 codes. The Hot water lasts a few minutes and then goes cooler before it gets hot again. If I turn it off and turn water on again, the water will get hot again for my shower. I take longer showers than my partner. Would like it to stay hot longer. Lou was very nice and we like him. We got great service from the entire Chris Wilson Plumbing Team for a sewer line replacement.I had a very fair estimate within less than 10 hrs after my request.Joe Pineda, the estimator/project manager/job foreman demonstrated his 20+ years in the business in the way he validated the measurements I had already provided, remeasuring 3 more times using different equipment and methods, to find the municipal sewer main connect for mark and locate, exactly.Chris Wilson Plumbing and Joe Pineda were easy to communicate with and extremely timely in replying to any inquiry for the projects duration. I received notifications of next steps consistently.The work was done professionally and quickly using quality parts. Joe operated the backhoe, did the main connection and the finishing of the asphalt application (at least 3 of hot asphalt with the correct substrates). His team were all skilled and excellent.I was very impressed with the value offered from Chris Wilson Plumbing, in comparison to a large national chain, whose estimates were sustantially more expensive, and I feel we got fantastic service and workmanship.Chris Wilson Plumbing will henceforth be our first call for any plumbing issue

I am so impressed with Chris Wilson’s team.I had an HVAC problem ( no heat in 35* weather!) and the company that installed it a year ago could not find time to even come to diagnose the issue. I called Chris Wilson late on a Tuesday afternoon and they found time for me the next morning. Lou came out in the morning, diagnosed and fixed it quickly and now thankfully I have heat!They do really smart things like confirm the appointment by text and phone call, they use a tool that tells you how far away the technician is and they are accurate in giving you a time window when they will be there. All in all super happy with their service.

I had a 15 year old water heater that was not leaking, but it was starting to make quite a bit of noise and I figured I should address it before it failed and possibly damaged the surrounding area. I called Chris Wilson Plumbing and Heating over the weekend and they had a technician come out first thing Monday morning since it was not an emergency.Ramiro showed up on time at 0800 and was pleasant to work with. He gave me his thoughts on the issue, and we decided to flush the water heater first. Unfortunately it continued to make noise (expected with a 15 year old water heater that has never been serviced) and we decided to replace it altogether.While this was not a cheap project, I was very pleased with the work he did. He took his time, explained to me what he was doing, and gave me tips on how to maintain my new water heater moving forward. He replaced an old exhaust vent, added a drain pan, and routed both the drain pan and T&P relief valve to the outside of my house so that if it ever failed/leaked down the road, the water would drain outside instead of in my garage.10/10, would recommend. He truly is a jack of all trades since he was able to explain multiple plumbing questions we had too! He even knew more than the other plumber that previously evaluated our bathtub faucet. I will say that the technician was timely (was told between 2-4p, showed up at 2:15p) and personable. I had them send someone over to a new home purchase to look over the heaters and light them. All-in-all it took about 30 minutes and he lit two heaters and tested the power to the valves. This cost $210. Perhaps it was my misunderstanding about the price of a visit. But, the only price I had heard before the money was due was $89. So, while Id say the technician and service was fine. The price left a lot to be desired. I cant imagine how much the labor to actually install new heaters would be. Unfortunately, I think I will be taking my business elsewhere when its time to actually replace/update the heaters.

The guys who came were professional, fast and accurate, as always.I didn’t rate the company 5 because the night before, the on-call plumber had no idea what to do and was reluctant to try to find out. The technician, was polite, respectful and knowledgeable about the water heater. He also installed a Honeywell thermostat. Upon completion of both installations, he thoroughly explained the workings of both. He programmed the thermostat to my specifications. Unfortunately, the next morning the heater came on 2 hours early. The following morning it came on 90 minutes early. I called your company that day and explained the situation to the receptionist. The technician was sent out that afternoon. I explained the situation to him. He was at at a loss as to the reason for the heater coming on early. He cleared the schedules and reprogrammed the thermostat. He also said, if the heater still keeps coming on at the wrong time, he would switch it out for a new one. Well, the next morning it again came on early. So the technician came out, installed and programmed a new one. The next morning, SAME THING!!! Instead of calling your company, I got online and looked on the Honeywell website to ask someone what might be the issue with this model thermostat. I found a quorum of customers asking questions about the thermostat. Finally, I found the reason. Model TH6320R has a special feature called Adaptive Intelligent Recovery (AIR). This feature eliminates the guesswork when setting the schedule. It allows the thermostat to learn how long the furnace takes to reach programmed temperature settings, so the temperature is reached at the time you set. So I looked in the setup manual how to turn it off, because we did not want to be awaken every morning by the heater coming on at 5:00. I was able to find the procedure to turn off the AIR. Finally, Now it works!!!!My main comment to you is that your technicians should be aware of this feature and explain it to your customers. I spent over a week dealing with this issue and ended up finding the solution myself. As your customer, My confidence in your ability to provide quality service is in question.

He said that he had broken 3 cameras trying to camera from the toilet because the camera wouldnt go around sharp bends.He also said that it would cost $287 to pull the toilet in addition to the camera fee of $375 and he couldnt let us do it. The chain bar attached to the handle was putting pressure on the part that allows the toilet flush and fill. This bar, if adjusted to not lean on the other part, would stop the toilet from running. Outdoor pipe broke which affected our house in Carmel Valley Ranch. Called them to open a drain. I had let the drain sit for 2 1/2 days to let the standing water slowly drain out so when they got to my house there would not be sewage exploding out of the pipe when they open it. Furnace check and repair. Responsive and on time-quality work. Technician was not as friendly and responsive when my neighbor asked a question regarding his furnace filter. It was a turn off to my neighbor.
