Chris was referred to my husband and I through a good friend in real estate, and were so glad that introduction was made! From day 1, Chris has been an invaluable resource to us - especially given we were pretty green homebuyers and new to the Irvine market. As you can imagine, we had tons of basic questions and were fairly nervous about the whole process, but felt so much better having Chris as a partner as he patiently answered all our questions and guided us throughout our journey.We ended up signing on a contract for a new development and had to manage much of the process remote from the Bay Area. Him and his wife Ann went above and beyond me and my husband’s expectations with purchasing our first home!I worked with Chris about 3 years ago from a family friend referral when trying to buy my own home. I put a couple offers in but got beat by several other offers. This time around I was nervous to get back in the housing market again, but felt hopeful with my now husband and with Chris’ guidance.After reaching out to Chris, he gave us recommendations on loan officers he usually works with and advised we get preapproved before touring homes. After reaching out to two of them and a big bank for comparison, we got preapproved with the best rate through one of Chris’ recommendations.Chris was prompt on asking our wish list, must-haves, and dealbreakers. My husband and I knew we wanted to be in OC, preferably near the coast. Chris gave us a few listings and we also shared with him homes from our own search. During home tours, Chris and Ann gave us insightful advice on neighborhoods and home conditions. While touring a few homes, my husband and I fell in love with a home that Chris and Ann were able to schedule a viewing the day-of, and ended up putting an offer on that property.Chris was so great communicating with us, the seller’s agent, and our loan officer. He got all the documents that needed to be reviewed and signed via Docusign, which made it super easy with our busy schedules. Chris’ quick updates and emails helped us get our first offer accepted and with seller’s credit towards rate buy down!Chris was quick to help us schedule general, plumbing, and termite inspections, walkthroughs, and sent updated reports to the seller’s agent. After all that we closed in a little over 2 weeks and even got credit for the repairs needed after inspection!There aren’t enough words to express how thankful my husband and I are to Chris and Ann. We’ve worked with Chris when we first bought our home and we knew that we wanted to work with him again to sell it. He’s very friendly, responsive, and is amazing at what he does. A couple weeks into the process we decided to move to a drastically different location. Chris was still willing to sell our home and wished us the best. Chris was very knowledgeable about OC and was very helpful for my family to narrow down to a few cities in OC that met our most important criteria. This was very important for us because we moved from NorCal. Chris knows the process very well so we didn’t have to worry too much outside picking out the house we liked. He recommended mortgage people and contractors of all kinds. What my wife and I really liked about Chris was his objectivity. He never tried to push us in any direction. He always just laid out the facts and stated his opinions in a neutral way. He’s not one of the those agents that would respond to you in a few minutes at any time, but to us it’s OK because not everything text we sent needed instant response. But when it’s crunch time, he’s very responsive. During negotiations, Chris also generally stayed very neutral and never pushed us to go higher and higher. He always told us what he thought a fair price would be. Often times, he thought the asking price was a little high. Ive been following his work for a few years now and thought that if we were to ever sell our home, that we would consider him as an agent. The opportunity arose in early October when we put our home on the market. We were trying to choose between using Chris and another reputable and knowledgeable agent that we used in the past who had done very well for us. In the end, we chose Chris because he demonstrated his specific knowledge of our neighborhood (Portola Springs) during a Zoom interview in addition to sharing with us his record of prior sales the previous year. As an added bonus, he closed us by asking for our business- which I appreciated being in the sales industry myself.Chris ended up getting us the full asking price for our home!!! This is noteworthy because the sale of our particular home was among the 3 or 4 highest since the neighborhood was created. He was able to do so because of his impeccable attention-to-detail, patience, experience and professionalism. He clearly knows how to market a product that has competition- we had other similar houses for sale at the same time. To my knowledge, the one we were directly competing with is still languishing on the market while ours had numerous offers. Chris won’t steer you wrong. He always gave us plenty of space to make our decision. I think a lot of agents try to input their opinions to sway people one way or another but Chris always gave us space. Space to think and of course, he would give us all pros and cons but never tried to sway us. He is very professional and he has a lot of great contact such as for contractor and even solar panels. I thought that I could do it all myself with Redfin but I’m glad I went with Chris. Would do it again in a heartbeat. We’ll worth it!

Chris is knowledgable, reliable, and delivers what he promises. I also liked the escrow company he referred. One thing I like the best about Chris is his negotiation skills. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
