Chris was wonderful to work with in buying a house in this wild market. When we first moved to Sacramento and were on the fence between continuing to rent and buying, he offered to take us around to get a handle on the city. He focuses on the city and surrounding areas which meant a lot for us in trying to find a home that has a blend of neighborhood and walkable businesses. He never made us feel pressured or rushed and in fact it was almost 6 months from when we toured with him to actively looking. Once we found the house, he navigated us through the process to closing. He was always available to answer questions and coordinated the logistics with multiple stake holders to get us to the finish line. We are a little over 6 months in our home and we love it. I strongly recommend Chris even if you are a few months/years away from buying a home. He is a great realtor and his passion for finding folks the right home at the right time really shines through.

We werent quite sure how the house buying process would go from 1700 miles away but Chris was amazing through the whole process. He was honest, professional, and responsive through the whole process. I was assisting my mother looking for homes for over a year, we worked with a couple of agents who were not very helpful or engaged. We knew after we met Chris he was the one we wanted to work with! Ive purchased and sold 4 homes over the past few decades, in CA, OR and WA. Each time I was fortunate to find talented realtors who scouted out the perfect properties for my needs at the time. Chris is no exception and was referred to me by a friend locally who also purchases properties often and Im grateful to have had him as an agent when I looked to relocate back to Sac. I cant say enough how great it was to work with Chris and his team! We had some specific requirements for our new home, and from the beginning Chris was great about researching and finding listings that met our criteria. He organized numerous showings over the lunch hour to minimize our time away from work, and had always done his research in advance and was prepared to offer his pro/con assessment for each property.When it came time to make an offer, he was a strong negotiator and got us the house for a great price. Again, he had done his research and his pricing advice and predictions turned out to be dead on.Once our offer was accepted, Chris team took care of arranging all the inspections. Chris always kept us updated and was easy to contact throughout the process. He was assertive about negotiating repairs, but maintained a great relationship with the seller and sellers agent throughout the process, keeping things running smoothly through a timely closing.I just cant thank Chris and his team enough for making this process so painless! If I could give Chris six stars I would! He was so helpful throughout our entire process of finding and buying house and he kept us well informed. When we put down our initial offer on our house, we found out that there was a competing offer. Chris told us he would take care of it and, a few hours later, told us that he had talked the sellers realtor and was able to secure the house for us. I highly recommend Chris for first-time buyers as he is very helpful, knowledgeable of the process, professional and a really nice guy.

When we met Chris we had pretty much identified the house we were interested in purchasing, but it took both patience and planning in order to purchase the property for the price we were hoping to pay. We are so thankful that we worked with Chris, as he guided us on strategy, pointed out the pros and cons of the home, and represented us well during the price negotiations. He also was instrumental during the closing process by helping arrange inspections under a very tight deadline. Chris is an all-star, an all-pro. We really appreciated his work ethic, and he was always working for us, on our behalf. When my wife & I were looking for our first home, Chris was the perfect person to have in our corner. He provided us reasonable expectations on the market & housing prices, knowledge of the neighborhoods & future growth, sound advice, and when it was time to pounce on the homes that we liked, he pushed things through as quickly as possible. Chris also has earned incredible working relationships throughout the industry, and those relationship certainly came into play -- and benefited us -- in our house hunt. When we first spotted the home that we ultimately landed, Chris was right there to take our request to tour the home within 2 hours of the listing being posted! And as we walked to our car following the tour, Chris was already looking up the prices of similarly modeled homes in the neighborhood, and informed us of what would be a solid offer price, before we even got to our car! This man grinds -- its no wonder he was awarded as one of the Top 30 Under 30 realtors. The house was on the market for less than 24 hours by the time Chris got our offer accepted! And even after we secured the home, Chris worked with the seller on reasonable repairs and/or deductions, and he also worked to expedite the long drawn-out escrow process. If not for covid, we would have given this man a huge hug, or at least a handshake! I was glad to have him as a part of our Dream Team, and hope to use him again in the future as long as he remains in the area -- we were lucky to have him this time around!

I worked with Chris on purchasing a house in what could best be described as a freaking crazy housing market. Chris was not only on the ball to show me properties and give me his feedback and perspectives on properties, but took to heart what was most important to me in the home buying process. In the end he conferred with the other agents to give me the best price point and price (which is extremely important in a market when you cant afford to pay cash and seemingly everyone else can) and we were able to find a house that worked great for me in a neighborhood I wanted and put in an offer that got me and my son a home of our own. I cannot recommend Chris highly enough as he was absolutely on the ball, easy to get ahold of (he got back to me on a Saturday Night (sorry Chris)), and got the house I wanted in the place I wanted at a price that I wanted.

We did a 1031 exchange which caused some delays in our search for a replacement property, but once we got to the point of identifying properties, Chris had been feeding us possibilities to get a sense of the market. That turned out to be a patently false assumption. Chris and his team at Coldwell were instrumental in making the process go as smoothly as possible. While there were hiccups along the way, none of which Chris was responsible for, at the end of the day we landed in a nice home in a good neighborhood.
