The level of professionalism and knowledge they have is passed on to you throughout the process of securing a loan and the whys and how’s are answered either via a call or video of explanation. Communication is really good between the team as they work together and even after we have been a customer two years they still send congratulatory notes of encouragement and remain helpful. For example I received a “congratulations on your first year” and I replied with a “thank you but it’s two years!”Now they are helping me with my PMI. 7/7/21 Update: I just went through the process of refinancing and also getting a 2nd loan in order to purchase another property. Once again Chris and Nora made everything so easy. EstaR Mortgage consistently helps me make my dreams come true while also making sure I’m staying realistic and not overextending myself. Such a great balance!Initial review from 2019:I loved working with EstaR Mortgage for the purchase of my new home. Chris and Nora were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They were able to get me a great interest rate and they made the process of getting the mortgage and buying my home easy; I was able to do mostly all of the paperwork online from the comfort of my home. Their availability for questions and for talking to real estate agents (mine and the sellers) was also incredible. I remember one late Sunday night, Chris was on the phone with my agent and then a sellers agent to help me make a viable offer. He and Nora were consistently there for me when I needed them. I thought it was too late to change lenders with only 3 weeks to go before closing. I was about to be in a much higher rate loan, higher monthly payment and higher down payment. I cant believe we actually made it happen! My sister and I teamed up to buy a house, and even as a team we wouldnt have been able to buy a house in this crazy housing market without Chris and the EstaR Mortgage team.They really have the entire process nailed down. They walked us through each step, from figuring out how much we could afford, to signing the closing docs and getting the keys to our new home.The housing market in the Bay Area has been pretty insane, and I was honestly losing hope since most houses we liked were getting a ton of offers over the asking price.And then one Saturday at 2pm we looked at a place, and we really liked it, so we were planning to make an offer on Tuesday when offers were due. However, our realtor & friend Peter Fletcher (how was also amazing) contacted the listing agent and it turns out they already had 4 offers.So our only chance was to make a slightly higher offer by 5pm! 🤯I felt bad but I called Chris and he quickly helped us get the approval letter to send the offer to the listing agent. I was really anxious but they took our offer and without Chriss & Peter Fletchers we wouldve lost our chance.And then we had to close with 21 days.... So we all got to work. Nora and Andrea sent clear instructions on all the documents they needed from us, so I tried to give that to them ASAP. And then another surprise came up: the appraisal was lower than we expected. Chris and Nora were amazing. Weve been trying to refinance our mortgage for over two years, but our income was too low and way too untraditional (self-employed, book royalties, rental income--even farm income) for us to refinance. Weve tried dozens of other mortgage companies, but none of them even came close. Somehow Chris and Nora were able to work the right magic. And you wouldnt believe how much work it required on their part -- and how much they had to get involved in a lot of VERY complicated accounting and taxes and even corporate taxes. If your situation is too complicated for anyone else, Chris and Nora can probably handle it -- even if youve already given up (as I had). I cant recommend them highly enough!!
