I worked with Chris, Brooke, and their team on the sale of my Kirkwood home. The house had been on and off the market for a number of years without much activity or success using a different realtor. We made the switch based on a recommendation and low and behold almost instantly started to see some activity. The house was sold within several months of its listing. Everything was handled very professionally and due to the weather conditions at Kirkwood this winter we did have some challenges, that were well navigated, to get to closing. Chris set aside an entire Saturday afternoon to spend with my family while we searched for our perfect getaway home. Chris and Brooke helped us through a very challenging home purchase that started with having to outbid another offer, and continued with a very short escrow for a beautiful, but complicated piece of property. They were constantly in touch with us throughout the process and advocated for us many times when we needed questions answered or issues resolved. We spend many evenings on the phone, sometimes interrupting their family dinners out (which I still feel badly about!). But they were there for us when we needed it the most and we will always be grateful for that. In the end, we got everything we wanted and were able to purchase our dream property where we are currently building our dream home! I’m 77 years old and have bought and sold a number of properties throughout my life, but have never come close to encountering a more competent realtor than Chris Hernandez. I called him out of the blue without any references and told him we were looking for a replacement property in South Lake Tahoe for a condo in SF that we would be closing on in eight days. I told him I’d like to see a dozen or so properties similar to the ones I had identified on line and if he would be available the next day. He responded, “Sure, when can you be here?” The next day I drove up with a friend from SF and met with Chris at 1 pm. Chris had prepared a portfolio of six properties that he thought would work for us. He said he’d have another six ready for us the following day. The properties he showed us were all spot on. We could have gone with any of them. To our pleasant surprise, Chris had inside knowledge on each of the properties. He was quick to point out their strengths and weakness. He truly was looking after our interests. After two days, we were able to narrow the 12 properties down to four. We then convened at his office and set up a zoom call with my family members back home. They were impressed with all four properties. Again, Chris discussed their pros and cons and together as a family we made a decision to purchase one of them the following day. Chris helped us negotiate more favorable terms than what were in the initial asking price and was in constant contact with me to answer our questions and ensure that the final contract conformed to our expectation. When my family was finally able to get up to see the property they were blown away. It was more than they could have possibly imagined or hoped for. We closed just 16 days after we closed on our SF property. None of this would have been possible without Chis’ guidance and exceptional responsiveness and thoroughness.

Chris and Brooke are amazing. They helped me sell my cabin in South Lake Tahoe (second time I worked with them) and when I say they go above and beyond, I mean it. Case in point: Chris SAVED us at 11pm one very cold night when we arrived with two babies asleep in the car and I realized I had brought the wrong key and couldnt get in (a few weeks before we closed). He was there in 15 minutes with his key to help us get in. They helped us navigate through complicated market conditions and difficult situations/buyers. Professional, super knowledgeable, responsive and overall just good/trustworthy/nice people. Cannot recommend them enough.

The Best Realtor EVER. My husband and I were looking to buy a house in Nevada and looked for a Realtor that would be helpful for 6 months. We went to a couple offices, but they just didn’t show too much interest in showing us homes we might be interested in. We weren’t looking for an expensive home, just something affordable.
