I’ve had ankle sprains since I was 18 and never thought of acupuncture until I moved to the US. A friend suggested it for inflammation and swelling relief.I found Chophie Acupuncture &nearby. They accept insurance, so call ahead to confirm and make an appointment. Chophie is very skilled. She diagnosed my issues through pulse and explained how acupuncture enhances circulation for recovery. Habitual sprains can cause growths and asymmetrical pressure, leading to more sprains and affecting the knees and lower back.The stronger the needle sensation, the more blockage there is. My swollen ankle was painful during the treatment, but afterwards, my leg felt lighter and the pain was significantly reduced, showing the inflammation had eased.Many in the Bay Area come here for stress and pain relief. I highly recommend visiting Chophie for acupuncture!

I love going to Dr. Chophie for my acupuncture and cupping therapies. She has helped me relieve a lot of my arm pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and leg spasms. Its always very relaxing and healing getting medical treatments from her. She always makes sure to address all my medical issues during each visit. Ive been going there for over a year now and will continue to be a regular patient of hers to improve my health.

If youre experiencing lumbar disc herniation and sciatica like I have, Dr. Chophie is the specialist you need to see. My symptoms have developed over the past decade since sports injuries, and worsened during the long, cold winter we just endured. The radiating pain from my lower back to my leg has made falling asleep a challenge.Dr. Chophie is incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive. She takes the time to thoroughly discuss my concerns and understand the extent of my troubles. While I was initially a little skeptical about acupuncture and cupping, Dr. Chophie changed my thoughts entirely with the first needle piercing through my lower back, bringing an unprecedented sense of relief. It felt like a wave of relief traveling from that tiny needle all the way to my toes.After three weeks of treatment with Dr. Chophie, I can now stand and exercise for hours without discomfort. Highly Recommend Chophies Wellness Center! If I can, Id like to give her a 10 STAR!! Ive been looking for Acupuncture treatment for a long time and I tried a Clinic before which was not a pleasant experience. But Chophie is super Sweet, she is extremely patient and spent long time to explain my bodys problem to me.The whole treatment was very relax with very calm beautiful ocean background music, I fall asleep in her clinic deeply.She also leave my hand a bell called emergency bell, If I feel any uncomfortable, I can press the button she will come help. I never have chance to use the button but how sweet she is!!

Chophie is a rare talent in healing. She saved me, twice already, from a terrible sciatica pain. I was very hesitant to try acupuncture for the first time and suffered quite a bit before I finally tried. The pain went down after the first session... Year later when I had another episode I went to see Chophie for an acupuncture as soon as I had first signs of sciatica discomfort... Thank you Chophie for the healing!

Chopie is amazing! I was very hesitant to try acupuncture for the first time because honestly seems pretty intimidating to me. But I have been having back pain issue for the longest time, and have made numerous visits to hospital and specialist but no progress or improvements. A friend recommended acupuncture and I decided to visit the nearest acupuncture near me for consultation. Chopie has been nothing but kind and welcoming from the moment I met her. She takes time in explaining each part of my body and allowing me to understand what type of treatment is best. There was no pressure in commitment but the result was so significant that I cannot emphasize how much it has changed my life. I’m able to get up from my bed without any type of pain in my back after 3 days of my first treatment. Know that I struggle with this and often requires support to even bend down and get up.Chopie is also very friendly and kind which makes me feel like I’m visiting a friend each time I go for my treatment. I have recurring visits twice a week now and would recommend anyone who has been hesitant to try acupuncture to make just one visit. The result will bring you back!

I have been seeing Chophie for a few months now and she is the best practitioner I have ever worked with since I started receiving acupuncture 5 years ago. Highly recommend her to anyone suffering from sports injuries and chronic muscle pains.Chophie is incredibly knowledgeable, highly skilled, and results-oriented. Her needles are always on point with the perfect depth. My chronic knee pain was almost gone after 2 weeks of treatment. Chophie also greatly accelerated the healing processes of my body when recovering from acute sports injuries around my lower back.Not only is she an expert in her craft of acupuncture, but Chaophie is also one of the nicest and kindest people I have met. Chophie is the best!!!Im a typical software engineer who sits and stares at computer all day with bad posture and lack of movement. I have been suffering from serious neck and back pain for a long time and couldnt sleep well every night with bad dreams. But thank god I found Chophie and got my periodic acupuncture treatment about 2 months. The pain was largely eased right after the first visit and now my neck and back are back to normal. Sleep quality is way better than before that I am energetic and productive everyday just like magic. Chophie is the most friendly doctor I ever met and she is not only professional but also thoughtful. She gives you best cure and great suggestions to build good habits and find your health back. I pay more attention to my postures, move more, and make my workplace ergonomic so that I have recovered so fast. Chophie is amazing. I was referred by my chiro who couldnt adjust back due to an acute spasm. She was able to bring the tightness and pain far enough under control that I could resume adjusments in only two visits. Ive continued to see her for general tension and stress, and I always leave feeling so much better and relaxed.

Originally, I was referred to Chophie Acupuncture & Wellness Center from SV Chiropractic Services - which both Dr. Chophie and Dr. Lynnard worked together in finding a treatment option for me. I consulted both doctors and I wanted to get an additional treatment plan that will alleviate my muscle tension, neck and back pain that Ive managed throughout the years. Let me also say, this was my very first time receiving any chiropractic adjustments (from SV Chiropractic Services), acupuncture and cupping treatments from Dr. Chophie. And yes, Ive been a skeptic after hearing past experiences from family or coworkers and reading articles and reviews.Anyways, I started my treatment with Dr. Chophie in February 2021 for my neck and back pain. I have been getting treatments about 1-3 times a week for the last two months. From my experience, Dr. Chophie is very polite, accommodating, and informative. She has always available to answer any questions or concerns that I may have regarding my treatment. And also offers suggestions that may also benefit my condition.Regarding the initial acupuncture treatment, my first experience was pleasant. Some points were a little sensitive while others were not. I did not experience any pain that was unbearable or overly sensitive. And Dr. Chophie assured me if some areas were overly sensitive, please let her know and she will adjust. Over the next several sessions, I couldnt feel any pain or much sensitivity to the needles. But it may vary by person, so I am told. As for cupping, I was a little alarmed when I had purple circles (usually lasted for about a week for me) on my back for the first couple sessions, but over time, the coloration improved (upper back to lower back) due to better circulation. Dr. Chophie also provided some insights and reassurance regarding the marks, so dont be afraid.Overall, I am very happy with my treatment with Dr. Chophie. Based on my experience, I do see and feel a great improvement with my muscle tension, neck and back pain. I enjoy the relaxing experience and I will definitely continue to see Dr. Chophie for my health needs.

Highly recommend Chophie to anyone with neck and shoulder pain, or any discomfort you might have. Ive been to several acupuncture places in the past few years for my stiff shoulder& nerve pain. Most of them are near the Lawrence &Arques area, unfortunately none had really relieved my pain. I never felt any carings from those acupuncturists, except being one of the customers from those places. But Chophie is so different, she is patient, caring, she listens to my concerns, shares her knowledge and experience. She has been trying different treatments on me and treat for the root cause not just relieving the symptoms. Though I went in for shoulder pain, she also takes care of my Lower back and knees. I can feel the difference, in terms of increased circulations, fading color after the cupping and so much more. I feel so fortunate to have her taking care of me.

Chophies treatment is a great relief to the stress in neck and back that has built up with sitting in front desk all day. With the heat treatment, I can almost feel asleep as the whole body is getting relaxed. Chophie is also specialized in sports treatment. As a marathon runner myself, I would recommend her for injury prevention as I have received great suggestions from her to keep my leg injury free!

Highly recommend Chophie Acupuncture! Ive lived with insomnia for years. Despite trying many approaches, I still struggle with it. A friend of a friend is an acupuncturist in Tahoe and suggested I try acupuncture. Since I started seeing Chophie, my anxiety around sleep has dramatically reduced, leading to better sleep! Before, I was typically getting one to three 2hr blocks of sleep. Now Im typically getting at least one 3 to 4 hour block, in addition to the smaller blocks. Total sleep from around 5.5 hrs to 7.5hrs/night. Less stress, more sleep. Chophie is my hero!

I have visited about 8 times and already feeling much better. I had a lot of back pain (from working on my computer), low energy and depression. With Dr. Chophies treatment and advise my back feels better and I want to start moving more, and my mood feels balanced. I also noticed my feet and hands becoming warmer (better circulation).Chophie as a doctor is great, she has a kind and gentle approach to her patients, and a very delicate touch. Love this place a lot! I was involved in a car accident and was referred to chophie to help with my mental stress and back problems that I have been having after the accident. She is such a sweet person who not only took great care of me with acupuncture, but was also a great listener. She does everything with care and makes sure that we’re comfortable. I’ve never had acupuncture before, but she was able to make me relax and calm me down. I also began liking acupuncture. On top of this treatment she also gives a massage right after and that helps relieve any remnant of pressure. With physical therapy and acupuncture administered to me.. the pain I had in my lower back is beginning to dissipate.
