I wish I could give Chilis 5 stars in everything, but unfortunately, I have to take some stars away. They advertise happy hour! But according to our waitress, only if you sit at the bar😪 if you are with your little ones you are not allowed at the bar. There for my Margarita was at regular price. Next time, it would have to be Applebees where I can enjoy happy hour at our table. I do have to mention that food was good, especially their wings.

It was a little crowded, which we didnt mind because we got seated quick. All the TVs were on full volume as well as music. That combined with the crowd and it was a little loud (we couldnt hear each other across from the table). Our order was taken rather quickly. The quality of food was not good. Cold and unflavored. My burger was also served to me, raw, and when I sent it back, it took almost 30 minutes to get it back. I never did get it back because after 20 minutes I told the waitress to forget it and spoke with manager, who we could tell was just on a smoke break :/, about the whole thing. There was also an issue with the bill, but finally after almost 2 hours, we were able to leave. We did get two $5 gift cards. But we wont be back. At least not for a long time, and not during dinner on the weekend.

I received the notification that my order was ready at 1:20. I pulled into a space at 1:30 and checked in, watching other people have their food brought out while mine never came. At 1:50 I was still waiting, I went inside and saw two employees just standing there talking with my order on the rack behind them. When I explained I had been waiting 20 minutes and asked if it was even still warm (it wasn’t, all the food had been reduced to just room temperature) since it had been 30 minutes total since I was notified it was ready, one of the employees just said “sorry” and proceeded to answer a phone call. All of this on Mother’s Day of all days.

While I normally quite enjoy Chili’s from time to time, this particular location was not very good. The waiting staff was phenomenal, which is why this restaurant is receiving 2 stars instead of 1. My husband tried the chicken and waffle special, which we were told at the time that it would be removed from the menu. We quickly understood why after tasting it. While it wasn’t horrible, it also wasn’t very good. Incredibly strange flavor pairings that just didn’t work. I opted for the traditional carne asada steak with rice and beans. The steak was sooo severely over cooked I could only tolerate a few bites. Unfortunately some of the rice was weirdly undercooked so occasionally I felt as though I was biting into a pebble. The beans were pretty good. Overall, this was definitely a crash mission. 👎🏽

Update, Feb 2023- prices have gone up a bit, expected. Crispy chicken sandwich and burger with special sauce- part of the lunch specials were superb. Doug our server was ON IT!!!Update: still like them. Love the 3 for $10 meal deals. I got the steak which included, salad, potatoes, veggies and my drink for $10. It was fantastic.So glad I found a chilis by me. Something for everyone. Meal was fantastic. Server Bethanny was great.

Both entree and molten cake were luke warm when I ordered. The chocolate center of the molten cake was still a cold ball when we got it. My younger brother had eaten most of it by the time I found a server to complain so I didnt bother sending it back. The lump by the spoon is the huge chocolate chunk from the center

Tough to post. I love Chilis and dont get to go often but this experience isnt going to help at all.Went late so the restaurant wasnt crowded at all and yet the service was amazingly slow. Ordered drinks and an app and the app arrived 5 mins before the drinks. Then had to ask for plates for the app and that took another few mins even though there were only 2 other small tables in our servers section.Ordered a burger no cheese no ranch, came with both. 2nd burger came no cheese but still wirth ranch. Kitchen clearly not paying attention.Then we get to the end of the night and the server doesnt inform us that they are dumping ice and tea and if we wanted refills (I cant stand that restaurants do this). So we got one last warm refill and no ice tea for on of our party.If I could give 0 stars for service that would be the grading.Very disappointed.

I just left this Chilis extremely disappointed and still hungry. I ordered a quesadilla salad. Not only was there a HUGE BUG in my salad, the restaurant did nothing to correct the situation. Didnt offer me another meal on the house or anything. The manager just apologized and moved on. Worst experience ever. I will not come back to this place ever again.

Enjoyed coming here to watch the Rose Bowl on New Years Day. Most likely they didnt have their typical crew on staff because they were slow on checking on costumers tables. I still tipped high since they were stuck working on a holiday. I hope to return occasionally to watch games that are not televised locally. It seems like they have screens showing alternative choices for games, but call to find out. Food was good and prices were reasonable.

First time at Chilis and It would be the last time. Waiter at the front door looked so annoyed asked if I can put a cake in the refrigerator she said no. That was ok a little annoying but every restaurant is different. Once we finish our food we asked for plates for the cake they said they did not have any that we have to wait 10 to 15 minutes. How can a restaurant have no plates it wasnt even that busy alot of empty tables on our side and when I went to the restroom it also had a couple of empty tables. I ask for the manager she came to the table. I told her about not having any plates and very sarcastic with a big smile, big opened eyes shaking her head (they are in the dishwasher) I said how can a restaurant have no plates and again the same way they are in the dishwasher and just stared at me like I was crazy. She said nothing else just stared. Lol girl you are a manager and you have no dishes for your customers. I asked my family members once she left, was she rude and before I finished the sentence they all said YES!!!!. Thats not the end. A boy from the back came and very sarcastically said here are your plates and put them hard on the table that the glass made noise. We felt the tension of the staff an we were scared to as for forks, So my brother in law asked an employee from the other side for forks. Our waitress Andrea was very nice and helpful I would give her 5 stars but Ana should not be a manager. She made us feel stupid cause her restaurant did not have plates 😒

Takeout seems to be lacking. The portion size for an $11 salad was quite small. Only half the container had greens, and the chicken portion was about half the size of a small breast. My Texas fries were overcooked & dry. Quality & quantity for the amount paid is subpar. The service is always friendly, that’s the only positive I can say.

We like to eat at chilis on Fallbrook West Hills, but this time we were close to Reseda At Northridge so decided to stop at this Chilis place, the Cajun shrip pasta was not the right recipe, to unflavored mayonnaise, the chicken sandwich didnt have the special flavors that we are use to, ( that delicious flavor somilar to In & out Burgers) So, not satisfied experience. 🤔

It had been years since Ive been in a Chili’s restaurant for dinner. I remember going there in high school in the late 80s with my friends and we thought it was the best thing ever. But my experiences over the last few years have been more informed by having breakfast at the Chilis in the airport, which honestly was not very good. I was in the mood for a veggie burger and remembered that they had one and thought what the heck its been years lets give it a try, so we headed to the chilies in Northridge. Overall it was a surprisingly good experience. Overall it was a surprisingly good experience.When we arrived at 6 PM on a Friday the restaurant was already super crowded with a fairly long wait. No one likes to wait forever to be seated, but at the very least this was a sign that it was a popular its not good place to eat.The one odd start to the whole experience though, was that the silverware it was delivered in a brown paper bag that said right on it this bag is 100% green, because its made from sustainable and biodegradable materials. You know what would be even more environmentally sound and sustainable, Chili’s? Not serving your silverware in disposable brown paper bags. If you need to wrap it in something Alabama the paper napkins that you also bring to the table? These “green bags quote or an insult to the earth.And the vegetarian items on the menu are somewhat limited, but they did seem to be willing to modify anything. Also we signed up for their free rewards club which offered either free chips and salsa or a free non-alcoholic beverage every time we came. Thats pretty cool especially since drinks are usually pricey items at restaurants, even the non-alcoholic ones. We chose the chips and salsa which was very generous size and fairly tasty.My wife ordered guacamole with the chips that she thought was good.Their veggie burger is a black bean patty, which they can do on any of the burgers on their menu. I ordered it with their southern smokehouse burger, eliminating the bacon and their special signature sauce. The veggie burger tasted really good, it was Hardy and didnt fall apart like something I do burgers do other restaurants. It came with onion rings lettuce tomato cheddar cheese pickles and Panko onion rings. I am joyed it. It was Harty, all around flavorful, though the veggie patty itself was slightly over cooked.I also subbed the fries it normally comes with with a side of their loaded potatoes. This was a good mashed potato dish with cheese and scallions on top. It tasted good and they were willing to serve it without the bacon crumbles it normally comes with.My wife had the corn on the cob, which she thought was seasoned well and delightfully sweet.She was a little disappointed with the house salad that she ordered. And then you described it as spring mix as the base, but really it out a little bit of spring mix and a whole lot of iceberg lettuce in it. Iceberg is the unnecessary and unwanted stepchild of the lettuce family, and it doesnt really do anything for us in a salad.Also at the table is a tablet mounted on a stand, which you can pay your bill from and play games on during the meal if youre not into human interaction.Overall we enjoyed the food at this restaurant, and would give Chilis another try.

The appetizer, southwest egg rolls is delish!! The day we went ( New Years Eve), Chilis was short on servers. We decided to sit by the bar and got Adriana as our server. Despite her being busy and probably quite stressed, I found Adriana to be very pleasant and attentive. We ordered an appetizer platter which was decent. The atmosphere is nice for a chain restaurant, and on a hot day, the strong air-conditioning was much appreciated. The service was fair though we had to call someone over twice since they were not checking on our needs regularly. However, I am very disappointed with the food. The TV add made the ribs look so delicious, but the ribs served to me was a bit dry. There was not enough sauce, for sure! The brisket burger is nothing special either. As a foodie, I found this place very disappointing. I wont be back. Applebees is much better.

I went there on Friday, July 28 with my family. My son requested the spot. We were seated at 7:10. Five minutes went by and I noticed no one was bringing water or utensils, Or even to say hello. I told my kids I would wait till 715 to see if we got attention. I said if they don’t come in 10 minutes we will leave. It was 7:29 when larger party arrived and immediately had a server. We got up to leave and the hostess that was there that day said in a sarcastic way, goodbye, have a good day. It was evening but anyway. There’s zero excuse to completely ignore a table, if you’re busy then say we will be with you as soon as possible but would you like some water. I’m not surprised, nothing is the same anymore, poor management. Went to yard house and as soon as we were seated we had a server offering drinks.

Service was not bad, more like nonexistent. We went in at around 8:30 only to end up walking out at 9:15 hungry and upset. We understand service being slow on nights when they are busy and low staff but they weren’t. The fact that several employees and a manager went by us and didn’t even bother to offer us water cups while we waited and instead we overhear them say that the waiter for our area had already left, and not do anything to maybe change our seats or assign someone else is not ok. We finally decided to leave when 4 tables that came after us got their food and when a couple 2 tables away from us got their drinks after being seated for like 5 minutes. We happened to pass the manager as we left and I let him know why we were leaving only for him to say “ohh that are had already been closed off” like if we sat ourselves down. We just walked away because we didn’t have the energy to argue with them. Left extremely disappointed.

The crispy chicken tenders at Chilis were barely bigger than the size of nuggets. We sent those back. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich as a replacement, and it was served on a slider-sized bun with a sparse amount of fries on the side. What the heck has happened to the portion sizes at Chilis?!? Dont advertise a 3 for $10.99 deal, or any similar deals ranging from $10-15, and then simply skimp on the portion size. The last two visits to Chilis have been quite disappointing, but this last time we felt really ripped off. We would have gotten twice the amount of food across the street at Daves Hot Chicken or Señor Sol for the same price or less.

On 08/15/2023 I decided to stop in for dinner and though I was seated quickly, the experience only got worse. The server did not even introduce herself which usually theyre supposed to. Not only that, she never once checked to see if I needed anything despite walking by my table several times. I ordered the honey chipotle chicken crispers and they were barely edible. The chicken was pathetic looking and thin, dry, hard as stone and could barely be cut with a knife. I had to use my silverware because the sauce used for the entree was thick and glue-like and terrible for consumption. Not only that, the side of ranch was very thin and runny and poorly made. Im never coming back because I spent $17.00 for my meal and was severely disappointed. In todays economy with rampant inflation and sky high costs, I expected better quality for my money. I would not recommend dining at this location.

I brought my family into this location they didn’t greet us at all at first then took ten minutes to finally seat us then never came back to take our orders I ended up having to ask to speak to a manager to let them know my family experienced that! I wouldn’t recommend this location at all especially if you are of ethnic background.. felt extremely racist in the environment. We left and denied being served by the end. Waitress was nice but extremely slow and had the nerve to ask what it was I had asked her for after we already paid and we’re ready to leave. I used to live in this area couple years ago so thought I would stop by since this chiles was always good. I guess it went downhill. Food took forever to come out and was horribly prepared. My steak was thrown on the grill frozen so was dry and chewy. My moms plate was really ugly especially the mashed potatoes looked unappetizing. We asked for some ranch and butter and it took 10 minutes to bring. The kid that dropped off our food looked like it was the end of the world when we asked him for sauces. Wont be going back here ever again now that I know it’s changed for the worse. Sad.

I went there with my family, and the service was unbearably slow. When I asked the server when we would get our food, she was so rude. In all my life I have never felt the desire to say something that might get a server fired. Their jobs are tough enough, and anyone can have a bad day. This server had the most go to h**l attitude Ive ever received in any restaurant. She essentially said to shut up and wait. And honestly, for what? A truly mediocre meal. Got the 3 for me tonight. Ordered strawberry lemonade, “Buffalo” chicken sandwich, and the dip trio. The sandwich was served about 7-8 minutes before the dip trip. Apparently they forgot it. Finally got the trio. Once I enjoyed my appetizer (late) I dug into the sandwich. I’ve had juicer chicken at McDonalds. It was literally the driest chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. My lemonade was empty. I timed it… waited nearly 10 minutes for a refill - and she walked by me nearly 7 times before she filled it. I had to ask for the refill and ask for basic things like napkins and silverware. I’m usually patient but I hate being overlooked. Food, not good, service, not good - there’s better places around. Please save your money.

Food was good, but the waiter Douglas had decent service up until our party paid the bill, the tip we gave Douglas was not to his liking although tips arent mandatory, and he decided to tell us we should tip more and tellings us his service was pretty good although he forgot things in orders and to be honest he didnt go above and beyond to deserve an outstanding tip. We told him his service was good and we gave him what we could. That was the end of it, until Douglas saw one of the members from our table get up to use the restroom and made a 2nd remark to them about the tip being to low. This was just unnecessarily rude and disrespectful coming from a server who already was given a tip and just didnt like the amount. Watch out if you go this location, Douglas will hunt you down if you dont tip enough!

Steve, the new manager, gaslights customers who have been long-term guests. During a recent visit, I’d taken advantage of the 3 for me promotion and cashed in on my free rewards chips and salsa. When paying the bill, I was unable to combine my rewards app with the 3 for me promotion. I have definitively redeemed my rewards app with previous promotions, including 3 for $10 and 2 for $25. I have also done so with the current promotion on a previous visit without the aid of a server or manager; the kiosk served just fine. When I presented Steve with past receipts, he was dismissive and remarked that I must’ve had manager assistance. When I denied this claim, he simply stated that the server “was technically right” in telling me the two couldn’t been redeemed simultaneously. This makes little sense as the free chips and salsa is a perk of being a rewards member, while the promotions are available to non-members as well. To add insult to injury, my partner was given the wrong burger and my curly fries were forgotten, then sent out double-fried. Because Steve and my server failed to acknowledge their error and take accountability, I did not tip. I refuse to let stereotype fear dictate my tipping, and will reserve my gratitude for businesses that actually account for the mistakes.

There were six in our group, the server was in training and the lady training her was rude and not very helpful. I didnt get my salad, the salad that did come out to one of my colleagues was wilted and brown and the chicken looked like it needed to be cooked more. We were offered drinks and food we didnt order and although we told them we didnt order the food and didnt accept it, they put it on our bills anyway. I understand that a new server can make mistakes but the one training her should have helped her more and should have trained her with more compassion and empathy. The food was mediocre at best and I would not recommend this particular Chilis to anyone. I will not be a return customer.

3 of us went for brunch. We were seated immediately and were not asked for proof of vaccination.The place was fairly full but we didnt feel super close to the other guests.The food was ok. The margaritas were huge. They didnt have any childrens menus 😐.Our waitress was attentive without being annoying. The bathroom was clean but there wasnt any paper towels in the ladies room. My family likes Chilis, and weve given this location a couple tries, but both done-in and takeout experiences have been consistently horrible. The wait staff are friendly enough, but theyre clearly under-staffed. On our latest visit, we had to move booths because multiple ants started crawling into the table. The manager failed to communicate this move to our server, so we were forgotten for a long time. Our order was entered with a minor mistake, our fries were not fresh, refills took forever, and dessert that we order to-go was brought out on plates,.and we had to box them ourselves.

When you go into a restaurant you would expect it to be clean, but our table was not wiped down and still had crumbs and even hair. I dont know if it was just our utensils but they were not cleaned properly and dont get me started on the cups. The glass cups they serve with the drink did not look clean at all. I ordered lemonade so its pretty clear to see if theres anything nasty floating in there and I did see black things floating in my drink, I have no idea what it was.

We visited this place for the first time for my dads 77th birthday to grab the birthday deal and also buy something for him and our family as he was not feeling well. The manager there at the time was like a programmed robot, reading just a policy stating only birthday deals he will allow is if we dine in. Instead we went to Applebees and the manager said their rule is the same but he will allow us to get a free desert and we ordered close to $100 worth of food for the whole family and did a carry out. My 77 year old birthday boy dad enjoyed the food from Applebees very much even when he was sick. We will never recommend this Chilis location to anyone ever again. Managers should be accommodating to their customers. Pleasant experiences will take sales to a peak high!

Ive been coming to this Chillis for years! It started when I was in college and I would come in with our classmates for drinks after class. We would come in every week for a bit and stay until close for drinks.. We were loud kids and the staff would always be hospitable.Years later Ive continued to come with family and even as a father now. The location has done a great job in maintaining a great staff. I got the Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers with the chips and salsa appetizer at this location yesterday and immediately contracted food poisoning afterwards. Looking back I remember I went to the restroom to wash my hands after eating and looked into the small walk way that connects to the kitchen and it was a mess, chips everywhere on the floor out in the open, trash on the kitchen floor and servers standing in a circle eating chips from the large bag used to serve customers with bare hands, quite literally rummaging through the bags touching tons of chips but only eating one or two at a time etc… At the time I had just hoped nothing would happen but I still got sick. The staff are incredibly kind this restaurant unfortunately is just unsanitary. Not to mention the bathrooms were also covered with trash, the floors dirty and the room smelled awful. This chilis used to be clean I don’t know what happened :(

Used to come here pretty often back in 19, service was always pretty quick and good. I dont know if we caught them understaffed or what, but half the restaurant was empty and they told us to wait 30 mins. No biggy me and the old lady head back to the car to chill and stuff, we go back in 30 mins later and theres way more people waiting to be served than the first time we walked in. The Chili’s in Northridge has always been a restaurant with good food and excellent service. Even currently during the covid pandemic they offer food to go by either delivery or take out and the quality of the service and the food is excellent. The restaurant is now allowing customers to dine-in and customers must wear a mask which of course can be removed to eat. The restaurant seats people 6 feet or more apart so that means they don’t fill the restaurant to full capacity so I felt very safe. I also wash my hands before eating. Recently I had the pleasure of going and everything was fantastic! The hostess was very nice, professional and she wore a mask. The waiter was very polite and professional, and he wore protective gear including rubber gloves which I noticed all servers wearing. The food was prepared exactly to our specifications and tasted delicious.

Our dinner was just sitting behind the counter for who knows how long and by the time we arrived home the food was cold and stiff! All the cashier said was, “sorry, our system is down”— well if that’s the case go outside to each car at curbside and let your customers know! There are only few (5-6) curbside parking spots. We are in a pandemic and there must have been 8-10 people packed in the small take-out area inside the restaurant only meant for maybe 3 people. This only applies to the Northridge location. We were visiting the establishment on 11/22. We were a party of 3, myself, my girlfriend and her 12 yr old daughter. We were seated quickly at a window booth and greeted by friendly staff starting with the hostess to the waiter. Food was served in a timely manner and all tasted delicious. The problem was that there was a man that decided to relieve himself outside our both window and yell at other patrons as they were leaving. Staff did apologize and said the man had been hanging out for quite some time and they had asked him to leave. I feel like more could have been done to help prevent the exposure we experienced.

I noticed that some of the previous reviews where not that great describing how the service quality was bad, I think things have gotten better from those times and is definitely worth trying again.There is a very good deals of dinner for 2 for $20 including appetizers I picked the Texas cheese fries and 2 plates of your choice, got the chicken quesadillas and chicken fajitas, also picked the Margarita trio sampler. Its very good size portions and food quality was excellent. Got seated right away and placed order for appetizer with in a few minutes. Server was courteous and friendly checking to see what was needed and getting refills as well.Perhaps in the past others had found bad service but I say give this place another try its worth it and good food and service.

I have to admit I have a bias for the high rating. This chilis is very close to my home so Im there at least once a month. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Id give it five stars if the food wasnt so generic but then again I have it so often Im probably just growing bored of it. Still a great place to hang out and have a drink!

Hate to say it was bad...but it was bad. They couldnt make the specialty drinks on menu...NO MALIBU RUM ! And the worst steak I have ever had. Stringy and tough as shoe leather. Sent it back and had to remind them about removing it from our bill. Sorry Chilis but will be spending my time and money elsewhere.

We fortunately went in while it was pretty slow, so we had our choice of seats, and our servers full attention. Brandon was very attentive and patient, although I couldnt imagine him being any other way, even with a packed house. It was clean, and the food was good. Its hard to go wrong with their honey chipotle chicken crispers. It was pretty much everything youd expect. Well be back soon

Ive loved Chilis since I was a kid, and Im glad to see them still carrying on the same traditions decades later. The food is always good and they have some of the best ORIGINAL recipes! I recommend anyone to try their Queso Dip, as well as their Southwestern Egg Rolls. The atmosphere is always vibrant and the service is always above par! Location does not have milk in stock, ever.3 times in a row over a span of nearly 2 months, I ordered just 1 glass/cup of milk as part of each of my online orders, and every time when I went to pick up I was told that milk is not currently available. Then why continue to have it available to order and then not even tell customers its not available until they pick up the order? And they dont even care about any of this or try to correct it.... Fix your website and fix your lousy attitude!Also, this location allows food preparers to not wear gloves while preparing food--potentially very unsanitary, especially during the Covid pandemic...this is one of the few restaurants Ive ever seen over the years that does not seem concerned with common health and safety procedures or the well-being of their customers. I pointed out to several people working there, including people who appeared to be managers, that preparing food without gloves is not always sanitary, but of course I was met with indifference instead of concern, and nothing has ever been done about it....they just dont give a damn...eat here at your own risk...

This place is truly something else. We came for my moms birthday and we got there at 6:24pm and hostess girl said 30 to 45 mintues which we were fine with waiting that long. My mom got there we waited till 710pm and finally I asked the girls we been waiting for almost an hour and I told her we arrived before the 10 people party. she said let me speak to manager, but just to keep in mind that there was an empty table for 15 to 20 mintues empty. I should have taken a picture, but they magically find a table after I complain. I am sorry, but if I have to ask to be seated I left I dont care. Horrible service and they are all stressed and just everywhere.

After a bad trip to Dave and busters we decided to come here and it was chill we came in got seated fast, they have these watermelon margaritas to die for yummy. And finally employee observed spraying tables mist flying everywhere among eating clientele.. Went to eat tonite after going to The Soraya at CSUN. We were seated, waitress came, took our drink order and never came back. Some guy brought the drinks. We waited a long while and a passing waitress took our order after I stopped her. The food finally came, the guy brought that as well, and then after about 5 mins the waitress popped up. She left again. She appeared once to see how we were after somone else checked on us. I asked the one who took the order for containers. The original showed up to see if we wanted dessert. I asked for the check, another 10 mins and we finally got it....after she served alcohol to 2 tables and took the order of a new table. She made sure to keep the drinkers happy and filled up. (I just wanted to leave!) Maybe she figured 2 of us were no big deal. It took us an hour and a half for all this. We didnt get appetizers or dessert, no fancy drinks. I refused to tip her but I did tip the girl who helped us, in cash! First time Ive been to that location but more importantly, the LAST! The nice waitress tried to make excuses for the original but Im not blind. I tipped who really deserved it but theyve lost us as customers.

Reseda Chilis was fine. Service was better here in town than in Reseda. It took about 20 minutes to get our server our drinks and get going, but they were pretty busy, so not that serious. Food was good, standard casual dining cuisine. Chilis is running with a 3 item for 10.00 meal, soup, dinner and drink. Great value for a dinner. Good stop for a meal but on Reseda Blvd has alot of options to choose from.
