They are a decent pediatric dental office. My child has autism, ADHD, and a host of developmental and sensory issues. A trip to the dentist could be (and has been) a total nightmare. Dr. Bar-Zion and Jennifer were wonderful! Professional, warm, caring, supportive, accommodating… They made the experience fun and easy and stress-free, for both of us! Hit or miss with the hygienists. The practice has evolved into something of a money-making hustle feel, so we have moved on.

My experience was beyond excellent. EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the office is kind and patient and understanding. We did not have to wait at all for our appointment and they are well organized. They use state of the art technology and completely go over your kids dental plans step by step. The office it’s self is super clean and they are very COVID-19 safe. Children get to sit back relax watch a movie while they get their teeth clean and even get a small fun toy to pick out once done! I have to be honest I wish adult dentist offices were like this such a comfortable place! Going to the dentist can be stressful but not here not even a little.

My kids always have a great experience! Today my 3 year old had to have work done. She was crying and nervous, Ms. Katie helped calm her down. She is amazing! Dr. Sahar is even better! She has been my kids dentist for years. All staff members are great!Totally recommend!

This office is perfect for children! The friendly environment and staff made my 3 year old instantly feel comfortable. This was her first dental visit and I was so glad that it was a positive one! The dental hygienist took the time to explain to her (in simplified language at her level) what she was about to do. They were very patient and efficient. We were seen right away and there were toys for her to play with while we waited. I highly recommend the Children’s Dental Office! My sweet girl left with a smile on her face asking when she can go back. I think that reaction speaks for itself.

I go to Childrens Dental Office for my 3-year-old and they are so great! She is shy and slow to warm up to new people and experiences, but they are incredibly patient, warm and inviting. Our visits there are painless because of their wonderful staff. They really know how to connect with children and ease any nerves. In additional, the office is beautiful - clean and full of activities in the waiting room for kids. Highly recommend!

Every dentist in this office is amazing. They are sweet, caring to the kids, and supportive to the parents when you have a crying child. The dental assistants are equally kind, gentle, and caring towards the kids and parents. The office is also set up for comfort and my kids always love that they have popular movies playing which serves as a great distraction when the kids are nervous. Front office staff is always warm and friendly too which contributes to the overall positive experience of going to the office.

Dr. Bar-Zion and her entire team are wonderful; from the front office staff, to the dental hygienists, to the dentists. They all work as a team to ensure continuity in care. I always know my son’s dental need will be taken care of. The office is clean, inviting, and has video games and TVs to keep the children happy. They even have seating in the dental area for parents to stay with their kids if they choose. Every procedure my son has had had always been discussed thoroughly with me. I always have peace of mind that my son is under good care. I would highly recommend this office.

We had the best experience with Melissa last week. My daughter had a traumatic experience at a different dentist over a year ago so I put off a cleaning for a while. We told Melissa my daughter was nervous about coming to the dentist and she was so sweet, encouraging, and understanding. She explained everything she was going to do and pointed out the flavors of toothpaste she could choose from and distracted her so well. She worked wonders, my daughter even did x-rays with her! To top it off, she sent my daughter a hand-written note with stickers telling her how well she did at her visit. She really went above and beyond. Thank you so much Melissa! My daughter actually wants to go back to the dentist now!

We love this place and my opinion continues to be how much this location is AMAZING with children. All 3 of my kiddos now get seen by Dr.Bar-Zion and I am always so confident and comfortable with our experiences. The staff is so friendly, the office is very geared to draw in children, hygienist are so gentile with the kids and Dr.Bar-Zion is phenomenal with the children! You get an amazing experience and your kiddos won’t hate seeing the dentist. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist. Hands down the best decision for dental care that I have made for my children.

The staff at Children’s Dental is beyond fantastic. My daughter had a huge fear visiting our previous dentist and when we made the switch my daughters fears melted away. The staff made her experience enjoyable and easy. She had to go under anesthesia for some work and they Doctors took extremely good care of her. I can’t speak any higher about the Doctors and staff, highly recommend this office.

Love this place! I brought my niece who is 7 years old. She was nervous but the whole staff is so friendly and she cant wait to come back. Everyone was professional all equipment was clean and up to date. The waiting room is full of activities for the kids. Highly recommend.

This is the absolute best dental clinic for children!!! My children have been patients for about 4 years and it’s been the most amazing experience for us. The staff are very warm and courteous; the dentist is very knowledgeable and I always feel confident that my boys are being well taken care of. Today was our last visit because unfortunately, we’re moving to the East coast. I was really sad as I know it’ll be challenging to find an office that will beat the level of care we received at Children’s Dental Office Yael Bar-Zion.

Kindest and most understanding staff! We are always treated with so much kindness and friendship! The Drs are both wonderfultoo! I have 4 kids and they always get us in and out quickly. Billing is always explained before they do anything. Office is an inviting atmosphere with animal murals, Disney shows on multiple screens and a great waiting are with computer games and toys. We absolutely love all of the dentists and hygienists at Dr. Bar Zion’s office. Everyone is always so kind and so patient and so gentle. I have 3 kids that go here. My oldest started with a fear of the dentist after a horrible experience somewhere else and she now looks forward to going. My middle one just loves it and gets excited to go and my youngest is a little rambunctious and they’re so patient with him. It is always a good experience.

I could not ask for more in a dentist for my children! 3 kids, in and out in 30 minutes, receiving excellent and gentle care. They are excited to go, and I am happy for them to have healthy teeth. Efficient and friendly front office staff, fun and well-decorated waiting area with plenty of kid-friendly distractions, then excellent hands-on care even for the most hesitant and shy of my kids. I took my 17 month old son here for his first dental exam yesterday, and it was such a great experience. Dr. Sahar was amazing.. she really took her time with us- easing him into the process and providing me with some great information at the same time. The staff is super friendly and patient too, and the waiting room is full of toys to keep the little ones entertained. I am so glad to have found this place for my kids! My daughter is going to have a lot of dentistry in her life and I m happy she started off with this place that has made her so comfortable! The doc and all of the staff are so nice and pleasant. Its worth the 15 mile drive!They take their time and do only stuff that needs to be done! No pressure no gimmicks! They are not over the top cute with kids but so genuine! Three years ago, we moved to Newbury Park from a Midwest urban area, and I felt overwhelmed by all the small errands that come with a big move, including errands such as finding a new dentist. I read many reviews, and I asked new friends in conversation, and every positive response led to Childrens Dental Office (Yael Bar-Zion). The practice truly is wonderful. Everyone from the office staff to the dentist are kind and efficient. The building - from the waiting area to the patient care areas - is modern and pristine. The children always enjoy their visits, (and I *hated* the dentist as a child, so that is amazing to me!), and they actually look forward to going. My oldest daughter is cavity prone, and even having a cavity filled does not phase her because of their wonderful environment and team. Scheduling (and rescheduling if needed) is a breeze. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my daughter here since she was 3 years old. She’s 11 now and I just love this office. They are always on time -which is a huge plus for a busy parent. They are all so friendly and welcoming to everyone who comes in. This hasn’t changed in the 8 years we have been coming. I live in Camarillo - where there are many children’s dental offices. The most amazing dentist and the best staff! Everyone is friendly and focuses on making sure the children are comfortable. They are patient, kind, and understanding. Everything is child centered from the waiting area, to the sunglasses 😎 to the songs they sing and words they use. It is all kid friendly. Got recommended from next door. First time taking my 3 year old son.. walking in there was so much for him to look at, with the safari animals everywhere to TVs and the wall puzzles, my son was so excited. We walked back and got such good vibes from the lady cleaning my sons teeth. We brought his favorite stuffed animal, Elmo and she pretended to brush his teeth. Made my son feel so comfortable! She got all the trader in his two bottom teeth with such fiennes! And cleaned all his teeth with no fight from my son. I was shocked! The doctor came by and checked his mouth, answered any of my questions and we were done. He got to pick two duckies (his favorite) and a ball! He was so happy. We walked out and he yelled FUN!Going back in 6 months for another cleaning and we are so excited for his next cleaning!5 stars for BAR Zion!

Dr. B is how we affectionately call Dr. Yael Bar-Zion, has been wonderfully caring for my 4 childrens teeth for around 17 years. She has been the best dentist I have ever had for my children. Her kindness, thoughtfulness and willingness to be there when needed are some of what makes her so amazing. Her staff has been so kind and helpful. They even let her stand for the exam because she was so afraid to lay down in the chair. My 3 year oldJust had her first visit and she LOVED it! My two daughters have been seen by the wonderful dentists at Childrens Dental in Newbury Park since they were a preschooler and toddler. My daughters have been challenging patients at times and all the staff at Dr. Bar-Zions office have been amazingly patient. Always a great experience when we go.. my kids have been at this dentist since they were 3 now my daughter is 10 and son 7. They get you in and out. Lots of entertainment and up to date technology! My kids have both had a few extensive procedures and both have done fine with minimal crying and little pain. All Drs here are awesome with kids and patient!!! Dr. Bar-Zion and her staff were amazing with me and my daughter! She explained everything to me before the appointment and discussed options. Dr Bar Zion and her staff are truly amazing.I have been taking my special needs, extremely anxious, daughter there for several years now. Everybody there have always been exceptionally patient, caring and understanding. My last visit involved fixing a broken front tooth. I had given my daughter a prescribed medication to help with her anxiety, which is fairly routine for us for such procedures. However, my daughter was still very anxious. The dental nurse spent at least 15 minutes in a private room with us explaining what the Dr. would use and letting her touch and feel the the equipment. When Dr Bar Zion came in the tooth was fixed in a manner of minutes again with constant explanations and reassurance of what was happening. All communication at a level my intellectually disabled daughter could understand. I cannot say enough good things about this practice and I recommend them to all.

My daughter doesnt like doctor visits. And neither do I unfortunately the current regular pediatrician and their office is quite dull and staff unaccomodating and lack compassion. She is 3. But this dental pediatric office is a complete contrast. Here there is music there are lights. We love it, everyone is super friendly, lots of toys, the dentist is great, screens with kids favorite shows and movies all the time, kids take-home toys are awesome. My daughter can stand there for 15 minutes deciding which one to pick. And she actually waves good-bye to the doctor with a smile.

My 4 year old boys absolutely love going to the dentist and I credit that completely to Dr. Bar-Zion and the entire staff here! From the moment they walk in to the reception play areas - there are two- to sitting in the chair in the jungle themed examination room, they feel comfortable and excited to be there. Finally, they get to pick a prize once they are done and they LOVE the prizes. It takes them forever to pick one every time. I know I for one never liked going to the dentist even half as much as my kids love going to Childrens Dental Office. Highly recommend!

I have been taking my kids here since for over 12 years. I just love the warm, caring feeling for the doctor and the staff. They have been very honest and up front with the dental needs of both kids. One needed braces and the other, it’s to be determined as we are waiting on his growth. There is never a rush to push. The doctor has filled in cavities for my daughter, twice. She and the staff were so good about making her comfortable. Now that the kids are teens the hygiene is not the best. The doctor showed my daughter a book with pictures of teeth that were no cared for and she was totally grossed out! Anything helps the cause. I recommend Dr. Bar and her staff to anyone!

LOVE this office! We are a military family so we are looking for a new pediatric dentist every few years. I have seen lots of different offices and lots of different doctors and staff. Bar-Zion’s Office is my absolute favorite! My kids love the waiting area. Video games and lots of toys keep them plenty occupied for the very tiny wait we have. The last two visits I even came a little early so they could play before their appointment since I knew we wouldn’t be waiting for long, if at all, if we were right on time. Even with all the fun in the lobby, my kids are still willing to leave the fun to go back and get their teeth cleaned because the back experience is great!My 4 year old daughter is very hesitant about the dentist but I’ve managed to always keep it fun and low stress for her. Except her most recent visit she was extra anxious and nervous about. I told the staff when we arrived for her cleaning about her nerves and Dr Sahar was sweet enough to do my daughter’s cleaning herself. She took the time to talk to my daughter about her day and congratulate her on being a big sister. She explained everything she was doing to her in a fun way and kept it very low key and calm as to not stress out my daughter. My daughter left the office talking about how much she loved getting her teeth cleaned this time!And the hygienist who cleaned my 6 year old’s teeth was so sweet and so awesome relating to my son.We have been coming to this office for about a year and a half and I will be so sad when we eventually have to leave :(

My son ended up having a small cavity- his first one ever- and they filled it in literally about 5-10 minutes and saved me a trip of having to come back. Great decor of different animals made my child at ease and engaged with his surroundings, as well as many toys to explore. The dental assistants knew what to do to get thru the examination quickly and effectively. Finally, the dentist was very amicable and nice towards my soon to be 3 year old and gave wise and advise for his dental care. In the end we will be back and hoping the next time I won’t have a crying screaming child that didn’t want to leave this fun, new great place.

I was referred to Dr. Bar-Zion by our pediatrician and I couldnt be more pleased with the service and patient care that my toddler son has received during his visits. Dr. Bar-Zion is very gentle and genuinely cares about her patients. The office is extremely clean and has many toys, books, and games, which are essential to distract nervous children. The office staff is tech savvy -- working towards electronic paperwork and text/e-mail appointment reminders and confirmations, which I appreciate. Overall, I am very happy with our dentist choice!

We were so impressed from the second we walked into the office! My kids ran right into the waiting room that had three different sets of video games. A movie on, tons of toys and books. Such an amazing atmosphere for children! Then when we got take back both of my kids got to be together. Their chairs were right next to each other and their appointments happened at the same time! Both hygienists knew exactly how to deal with nervous children whom, it was there first time at the dentist! It was WONDERFUL! Both of my children were very nervous and as soon as we were done and leaving they both asked, “when do we get to go back?!”

Our kids see Dr. Lily Ghafouri and have NO reservations about going to the dentist (as opposed to ME!). The staff is kind, the office is clean, the advice is solid, and the atmosphere is perfect for kids. They even try to get the kids involved in their dental health with incentives and gifts. She and the staff have always been gentle, which they (and I) appreciate. The treatments she has recommended were necessary, in other words, neither ignoring things nor being overly aggressive. Children’s Dental Office is wonderful!!!First, my daughter is not easy to work with - and cries pretty loud - when the cleaning tool is on her teeth, but the dentist and dental assistants are ALWAYS patient and kind. And while I don’t think she’s “earned” a toy, they always let her take one home which allows her to leave their office on a positive note.Second, we - my 5 year old daughter, my mom, and myself - LOVE the painted walls through out the office!! It feels much more inviting to an already anxious 5 year old patient and gives us something to kind of “distract” her as we walk to and from the dental chair.So while I don’t have anything to compare it to, I love Children’s Dental Office!!

I love this facility and would highly recommend it. Starting with the beautiful and inviting office space with kid friendly wall murals, lots of toys and video games and flat screen TV with kids movies playing including the ones mounted on the ceilings so your child is engaged while lying down to get his/her treatment done.The Dr. and the staff are very warm and professional and put the child and parent at complete ease. If I had something like this when I was a kid, I wouldnt be petrified of dentists like I am now.

Dr. Bar-Zion is the most incredible dentist I have ever seen. She worked miracles with my son who was terrified to get a filling. She has an incredible amount of patience and just seems to understand kids and what they need when theyre having dental work done. Her staff is wonderful. The office is beautiful and there are a ton of fun things for the kids to do in the waiting room. Plus, the kids get to watch movies while theyre having their teeth worked on. My 8 year old daughter saw Dr. Sahar today! It was her first time at a dental office and the staff (both front office and dental team) calmed her nerves almost immediately after arrival. The office is cheerful, and entertaining with a jungle theme for kids. They explained everything they did as they did it so she had a clear understanding and expectation of what was happening and why. Her exam and cleaning went amazingly well with giggles, and an excited exit saying “that was great! I really like them!” — I HIGHLY recommend this office for all children (honestly if they’d take me, that’s where I’d go!), but especially if you have a child who is fearful or nervous about dental work!! Honestly Ive never had anything but wonderful experiences with this dentist. All three of my kids adore everyone there. My boys usually beg to stay so they can play video games and such as well. This visit my almost 8 year old had to have a few cavities filled and it was VERY scary for him. Both the dentist and the technician were just amazing!! Kind as can be and they explained every single thing to him even though I know for them its probably their 10,0000 procedure they treated him as though it was was his first. I couldnt be happier. And they even understood what my son was saying with his mouth propped wide open. Haha! I guess thats a learned skill but I was still impressed. I recommend Bar-Zion to everyone I know.

NP Children’s Dental Office was wonderful. We were greeted with friendly staff and a large open waiting area with jungle forest murals and 6 PlayStations with games to chose from. My son was disappointed we didn’t get more time to wait and play. Jennifer our child’s hygienist called us back quickly and made us feel very comfortable. My son Luke got to wear some in his words “Supper Cool Sun Glasses” to protect his eyes from tools and the light. With Luke feeling comfortable Jennifer could inspect his teeth and do her cleaning. She was conversational with him at his level and he really enjoyed the experience. She also thought him about all the instruments and what they did. He like being able to see his own spit in the vacuum straw. After the polishing, the Dr. came in and checked his teeth. Told him how many teach he had interacted with him at his level. He got fluoride brushed on his teeth and then he was able to rinse in sinks that were his hight. Then off to the toy chest that had decent quality toys. Of course he wanted to play the games in the lobby again on the way out. Thank you for the wonderful experience and setting him up to be comfortable for future visits!

The hygienist was yawning multiple times while staying with my kid, who told me afterwards that her teeth were in sharp pain during cleaning. Pros:1. Office is clean and well decorated for the kids:Two play areas with toys for all ages, Six video game consoles, Disney movies, High interest books, Walls are covered with animal murals, bathroom is clean and modern and has a changing table. Kids also get a prize out of the treasure box at the end of the appointment.2. Staff is incredibly caring with children:They explain what they are doing every step of the way in language the children understand so the kids are comfortable with the procedures. They have cute names for the equipment, for example the drill was explained to my 3yr old as a whistle that blows air on your teeth . Of course he wasnt paying much attention to the explanation because he was watching the TV on the ceiling playing his favorite Disney movie while he enjoyed the bubble gum nose which was the nitrous oxide. He didnt even cry when he got the novacaine or the fillings because he was so relaxed.3. Dr. Mansouri completes procedures quickly yet deftly in the most comfortable way possible for the child. Bonus: She will sing Disney songs to your children while they are getting their fillings! My son was a huge fan- I wish I could have her as my own dentist, shes that good!Cons:1. Its hard to get my son to leave the office after his appointment because he loves the waiting area so much (not really a con, but be prepared to allow your child a few minutes to play after the appointment.)

We love, love, love Dr. BarZion. Actually we also use Dr. Yossi and Dr. Igal, too. We love this dental family!! However, my daughter needed fillings and sealant and had Dr. Schwarz instead. Not such a good experience. My daughter was congested so struggled with the nitrous. The hygienist pinched her lips shut to keep her from opening her mouth, which only scared and upset my girlie. Dr. Schwarz and the hygienist never stopped talking to my daughter, berating her with instructions and this and that. Can you say overstimulation?!? My daughter cried through much of the procedures. That being said we love Dr. BarZion. She is kind and quiet and gentle and my daughters adore her. In addition, we typically dont have any problems with the hygienists. One bad experience in 6 years isnt too bad. I highly recommend Dr. BarZion. She is a fine dentist!!

I have to say Dr. Yael Bar Zion is nice and gentle during regular teeth cleaning. Until my kid did a treatment, I realized this clinic charges so high compared to other dentists! My insurance covered 80% and I need to pay 20%. My kid was treated for 4 teeth and they charged me nearly $600 out of pocket!!! $150 per tooth in average for the self paid amount ! I asked my friends with the same insurance with same treatments and asked other dentists. They only need me to pay $35-$55 per tooth for self paid amount. So if I go for other dentists, I can save about $400 for the same treatments ! The nurse explained they use white sealing not cheap silver sealing. However, other dentists use the same white sealing but they only charge $35-55 per tooth for out of pocket amount!
