We had an incredibly great experience at Chico Volkswagen. From our first test drive with Carson, and then working with Nathan to get our financing in place and then talking with Brandon about the features of the car we were looking at. The staff there are all friendly, knowledgeable but most of all no pressure to make the purchase. We were really sold on the car and the dealership from the first time we walked in. Nathan was very patient with us during all the phone calls and questions. He was able to get us the financing when other dealerships couldn’t or wouldn’t. We can’t recommend Chico Volkswagen and their incredible staff enough. Thank you Carson, Nathan and Brandon the best experience buying a new car.

I bought a 2020, Volkswagen Jetta Rline March 16th, for my birthday.The Men that I inter acted with was amazing .Thanks to Jesse, Caleb, Corey and Nathan..I felt like I was a princess. Pricey car maintenance 🧑‍🔧 but seems to be well worth it. Have used their services for about a year now with no issues. Clean waiting area with three comfy black couches to sit and wait. I took a bit of a nap on one of them while waiting for my car. Personnel are courteous and respectful. Will keep coming back.

Terrible!!! Customer service is non existent. They use a third party “sales assistant “ who was incredibly rude. She hung up on me the did not answer when I called back her number. So I called dealership office number and fortunately the GM answered. If not she would have kept deflecting my calls. The GM was nice but, did not seem to care about what happened saying she didn’t mean to hang up on me. He sent me a couple of car options through email but did not follow up after I said I was interested.The overall experience from him was since I wasn’t spending $20,000 or more or cash I was a small fish and not worth the time. And from the “sales assistant “ my experience was they didn’t need the business… well if you keep that up they may find themselves needing more business….. very disappointing after being recommended so highly by a satisfied customer and reading good reviews.Beware!

Nathan, was an amazing. I came all the way from Sacramento!! The guy knows his stuff. I came in fathers day wanting a used car that they had in stock. The guy is a magician he did an absolutely great job. I had a chance to speak with Aiden as well and he was just great. Best volkswagen dealership in north California. Will come back to get another car soon!!!

Taken my vehicles here several times. Have had ok experiences until this last instance. Basically the Service Advisor quoted me $1107.00 for a repair on a covered part under warranty, that was only part of the problem. I declined because I wasn’t interested in “fighting” with them. Took the vehicle to Niello VW in Sacramento. And guess what? They found that that specific part was covered under warranty, but there was also another faulty part which was covered. I was so pleased with their honesty and effective diagnosis, I elected to have them do $1600 worth of maintenance work too. I’ve been treated acceptable by Chico VW service & parts, but never great like at Niello.

Everything was absolutely perfect with communication and texts on vehicle status and performance. I was inform about paying my bill monthly, didnt know at the time of service, so I had to make another trip to take care of my issues with the car, if know I would have said yes to monthly payments instead of making a loan🤔😒would have taken care of what was needed on the car inspection. Otherwise this place is great!

Emailed 50 days ago roughly with very specific information about what repairs I was looking for regarding a quote. Have recieved around 75 phone calls, along with emails, trying to get me to come in to appraise and trade in my vehicleHave been extremely specific about the fact I want a quote for (xyz) services on my car and have basically been harassed at this point with the dealership trying to entice me to trade in my vehicle and buy a new one from them.I have also written back several times notifying them that I solely want a quote for repairs and they have continued calling. Not sure what the deal is...At this point Im going to go elsewhere as the vibe and customer service is just off putting.

Jesse the service writer was great! Welcoming, friendly, informative. He really knows how to talk to customers and relate to them. They got me in for my battery change and out in perfect time before my next appointment. They explained everything to me and Jesse even discussed my recall issue. They sent me a video of the inspection and suggestions for service. I appreciate the cleanliness of the show room and the space available for waiting. The coffee was warm and delicious. The shuttle driver was friendly and kept the area tidy.

First of all I love my VW Atlas, and also loved the customer service when I bought my car. Hands down the best! I went in for my 6 month detail and leather treatment, that I paid extra for. The outside of my car was washed very nicely. The inside front seat were clean somewhat. The back seats and trunk area were never touch. Still had dirt on the floor from our trip to Tahoe. It was definitely not vacuumed or wiped down. I was so excited to have this service to be so let down. Fingers cross I dont regret paying for the extra service.

It should not take three hours to change the oil and brake fluid in my car while I wait. After Caleb told me the car would be done in less than two hours, he then called me at an hour and 50 minutes, (I was just around the corner in the waiting area) and said it should be done in about 20 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later i went up to ask how my car was coming he told me that its been ready for an hour, and he was waiting for me to come pick it up. I was waiting in your area the whole time.This will not be a problem for me in the future as I will be taking my business to my regular mechanic. the only time you will see me i the future will be for warranty work if I cant get it done in Sac.

Car was brought in for an electrical system diagnostic after just having the battery replaced at the dealership in Sacramento. On completion of the the assessment, they confidently recommended and completed an alternator replacement, which did not fix the problem at all. I called in to see if theyd take some responsibility for their work and not only did they say no, the service rep has suddenly moved out of town. Last but not least, they did not honor the military/ veteran discount initially offered for services. $2400 down the tubes. Dont take it here!

It shouldn’t take close to 2 hrs for an oil change. The video of problems, which includes a cabin filter and tire issue was sent to the wrong phone number even though I gave my cell number to my service tech. This prevented me from approving other repairs. 3 of the 4 valve stem covers were not screwed on. I could turn each one 3-4 times until seated. I thought the vehicle would also be washed, which it was not. But I could be wrong on this assumption.

I have not had a good experience with chico Volkswagen since my first purchase around 2013. From the purchase of my atlas to the servicing almost every visit has been an issue from bait and switch to leaving cap off oil to changing up my scheduled apt to add additional services (for an additional 1 1/2 ) and if I didn’t add the additional services that were all included at purchase I have to pay for my original requested items they are no longer covered. Service turn times are here Doud, never less than a 3 hour wait. Currently I have been here an hour most of my service was canceled they are just now installing a light that snaps on to my door. The service representative I dealt with. I would give a 10 but the company and its overall customer service is more painful than it’s worth. leaving after and hour in a half and they parked my car in handicapped parking :(

Would not recommend bringing your car here. The service manager Barry will keep you waiting for answers for days without responding. Had an issue with my warranty that Jesse and Barry left me hanging since last week, they were supposed to contact corporate to address my concerns and instead delayed for days without doing anything or responding to me. Apparently it was acceptable that they couldnt do anything and when I asked why nobody gave me a prompt response that they werent able to anything for me Barry said he would have to look into that. Typical salesman shelving of my concerns and bs for lack of basic performance.

The only reason for rating lower was 2 things- 1. I had to call at nearly 5 pm to see what was going on with my car. I wasn’t called after it was looked at. I wasn’t told about the two filter changes that they suggested until after I called and had to approve online after 5:30pm. 2. I didn’t receive any alerts from my car about being opened until nearly 2pm after dropping it at 9:30am. Why did it take more than 4 hours to even START looking over my car??? Apparently, the check engine light was a a fluke, and hopefully, not something that needed to be looked into more.

When my normal service rep saw my car was coming in he called me and ask if they could have the car for a couple more day to do the recall now. I said yes and he set me up with a loaner.

It was a very unpleasant experience towards the end. The salesman, Benton, was pleasant and helpful, but once in the hands of Dustin, things got stressful. Questions were not answered clearly, the final agreement changed when it came time to sign the lease contract in what felt like a bait and switch move. Tensions got so high that we walked out in the middle of signing. The Auto Butler was pitched to us as a compliment that accompanies the purchase and when we got home and deeply read the sales agreement it turns out that not only was there a mandatory charge of $395 for the paint protection coating that we thought was part of the package, but that an additional $500 was added to the total bill without our consent. We had to stay overnight in Chico so that we could get the orientation, since finalizing the sale happened 2 hours after closing time and everyone wanted to go home. We returned the next morning but did not get a thorough orientation to the new car, nor was the car fully cleaned car or fully fully charged. The lack of charge caused us great anxiety, since there was not enough charge for our return trip home. We spent hours on the road downloading apps and trying to figure out the charging system. If I could give zero stars, I would. We obtained the name of the general manager Mark Hitchman and the name of the owner of the franchise to make a formal complaint and intend to follow up with that in the future. There was follow up after delivery, only after I called Nathan Hitchman to request the specific names of the owner and general manager. Less than 5 minutes later, we received a call from Dustin, this time slightly more amicable, yet it was still difficult to get direct answers to my questions.

I brought my car in Tuesday at 2:30, with instructions to rotate and balance tires along with the needed service. I called at 8:00 Wednesday morning to confirm instructions to rotate and balance the wheels. At 1:00 on Wednesday my car still wasnt done. I finally got my car after 3:00 Wed. I asked the person checking me out how can we prevent this from happening again, and all he did was make excuses and no apologies. If you read the paperwork, it stated I was to pick it up Wed morning. Not only that, it looked like a 3 yr. old washed my car.I was also surprised that I had to pay for balancing and rotation. Changed my mind and bought a car somewhere else. Guess what, five years later and dozens of unsubscribe requests I am still getting bombarded with spammy emails from them. Nothing I do can get me to be unsubscribed from these emails. I have filed FTC complaints, reported them as spam. NOTHING STOPS THEM. So maybe this negative review will get someones attention and FINALLY get me off of their marketing list. Take the hint folks, I dont want to buy a car from you. After an unexpected breaking down in the heat wave of a weekend, I stumbled into their shop. Come Monday, the friendly service team assured me they would take care of my vehicle right away and order the parts. Even though theyre garage was stacked with repairs, they promised Thursday or Friday at the latest, and at that point I was grateful for anything. After approving the repairs conveniently on my smartphone, I waited patiently for a few days. Since it was in the shop, I was curious of a strut replacement and inspection of alignment. Just as I hoped, they were friendly and receptive to my inquiries as I found my answers easily. Wednesday afternoon arrived and I received an unexpected phone call; the repairs were done and my car was ready for pick up! A day early and I think about $200 less than what I originally expected because some repairs were not needed. An honest mechanic for once! Thank you all again for your exceptional and exquisite services.

Exceptional staff and great customer service. My wife and I had the opportunity to work with Sales Consultant Isaiah...he was absolutely stellar to us and extremely helpful. We narrowed down our search and finally decided on a Volkswagen Jetta. Finance Manager Nathan was exceptional and guided us through the financing portion of the purchase. Manager Steve and Isaiah were very helpful, and additionally, were very kind and allowed us to bring our small dog into the building as we completed paperwork with Nathan. My daughter wanted to trade in her car and get into an suv. After running credit, She drove over 30 minutes to the dealer. I could not go with her, so she went alone. They appraised her car and told us that values on trade ins are very low right now. And told me over the phone that the car turned off on them when they tested it out, and needed new tires and a windshield and the wear and tear. She was low blowed and was told they would give her only $3,000 for her 2016 Hyundai Sonata and that she needed over $7000 down payment. I dont understand why they told her this, My daughter has been driving that vehicle for over a year and no issues, plus she had just drove over to the dealership. Following day, we went to another dealership, they checked vehicle out and there was NO issues with the Sonata and we ended up getting a good trade in value ($9000)for the vehicle. This dealership tried to scam my 21 year old daughter and tried pulling a fast one. I do not recommend going to this dealership. Be careful and do not go alone and always ask questions or get second opinions.My daughter had so much anxiety! She left that place in tears, thinking her car was all messed up and engine was bad.

I have had 4 horrible experiences here and will never go back. The first was the condescending older male that sold me a defective vehicle. My most recent was a recall fix, scheduled 3 weeks in advance. I drive 2 hours, walk in and find 2 guys cussing behind the counter about personal issues. They ignore me for about 2 minutes then mutter about why I am there. When I give my name the guy looks it up and smiles and tells me he doesnt have the tool for the recall. He seemed pleased that he wouldnt have to work. Then tells me to wait so he can go double check. Fifteen minutes later he comes back with a stack of paperwork that he slams down in front of me as if he was now justified in not helping me. He goes on to explain how even if he had the tool he could not do it because I would have to wait 12 hours before I could drive it and with me being living 2 hours away that wouldnt work. I guess loaning me a car is just never an option here. So I asked why they would have me drive 2 hours and waste a half a tank of gas knowing they could not help. He has no answer so I say Ill have to go to Santa Rosa because this service is horrible. He laughs and says that would be great. I called him an ahole and am probably banned now, oh well. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra miles to next Volkswagen dealership if you want a Volkswagen.

Terrible customer service in the parts and service section. They do not disclose their exorbitant prices up front, but instead hit you with fees on the back side. Rude and useless help. After having warranty work done, our key fob no longer worked. Instead of addressing the issue, they wanted to charge us $200 to diagnose the problem, a problem they created. What they shouldve been doing was fixing the key for free, not snidely telling us we could just go buy another one if we wanted to. We will never return to this dealership. Terrible service on every level.

I really appreciated the service I received at this dealership. Steve was very helpful and informative. They had to install a whole new exhaust for my TDI, so they kept it for a few days. When Steve called me he did inform me that he was expecting my service light to come back on he just wasnt sure when it would. But he reassured me that once it did they would fix it. Once I showed up, ironically it came on when they were trying to drive it to the front. So they kept it for a couple days. Everything was covered under warranty and all the timing was actually pretty convenient to my schedule. I was so happy to have my car back, it has been a couple months since my visit my car has been running perfect. Satisfied customer:)

Brandon the General Manager blew us out of the water with his customer service skills, and his ability to make you feel so comfortable with every single financing option available and which one works best for us. I bought my car online. My friend pick up car and I was assured car will be ready on day of pick up. Car could not start needed new battery, cooling fluid needed to be replenished( warning lights were on). She waited 6 hours for car be ready to drive. 3 month later still waiting for copy of my purchase agreement . Manager told me that all Mazdas and Volkswagen are leaving lots in excellent condition but they don’t specialize in sakes of BMW. He was very condescending in conversation. I would not recommend this dealership for such a pure customer service.

Prices are totally reasonable, large helpful team, shuttle service while car was being serviced. Best of all, Heather, one of the first faces you see through the doors, is a refreshingly helpful, Upbeat, resourceful, fun-to-chat-with-while- youre-waiting, lucky-they--have-her-- employee!! I can not speak to the sales side of this dealership, however, the service department is a disaster. I have brought my vehicle in for warranty repairs several times on a coolant leak, I live over an hour away and every time I return home, the issue has not been repaired. The service department lost my information, delayed repairs and seemed generally disorganized in every facet. I eventually paid out of pocket to have the issue repaired by a competent shop. The manager, Barry was very rude and shouted at me over the phone blaming me for the issue. I would recommend having your vehicle repaired/serviced elsewhere.

Had a four wheel alignment performed on my 2017 jetta. i was not given a spec sheet for this task that was done on my veh.This little piece of paper with detailed information about the alignment numbers is very important to me. When i ask about thepaper work (spec sheet} i was told the alignment printer cartridge was out of toner. okay you just cant imagine a Dealership running out of ink. I like keeping tabs on the ins and outs of my Jetta. Went online and scheduled an appointment to have some work done the next day while I waited. They didnt try to over sell me and the car was ready before they promised. They threw in a car wash and had some parts that I wanted on hand. The work was solid and I paid about what I expected. The staff was friendly and the customer lounge was clean and comfortable. I was very disappointed/surprised with the sales manager here. This dealership lost out on a 30K deal from us because of his attitude, I intentionally hide how much cash I have at my disposal until I get to know the dealer better and see how they treat me if they think that Im poor (the only time youll see a persons true colors is if they think youre not financially stable), and he completely failed the test. Well i had an appt at the chico Voltswagon at 10am on july 26th. I got lost and showed up at 10:07am and they put me in the back of the line . Then they proceeded to leave me and my 85 yr old dad to wait there for hours before they even talked to us about what was happening. They told us that they do have the part but that we would have to wait another 2 in a half hours until right before they closed. They finally fixed it at 5:10 pm . This place needs to teach their employees communication skills. My father just had total hip replacement surgery on his right leg and they made him sit on it which was very painful for him he sat there from 10:07am-5:10pm. I have to also say that they did fix my car and everything is in working order. I appreciate the time and work that they put into it.

Purchased a 2012 Jetta at a great price. Overall good experience compared to other dealers we looked at. Salesman was excellent (Keith). Finance gave us a final quote for monthly payment and tried to increase it significantly at the last minute during contract signing. Manager came in from another office and gave us the run-around about it. We also had to complete our down payment over the phone after we left, because they forgot to ask for it. Furthermore, we had an issue with the down payment that could have been handled if we were in the finance office and not on the phone. They would not allow us to switch the method of down payment the next morning after contract was signed costing me in the long run. Their finance department should have been willing to work with us on this, since they were at fault in the first place. Not happy about that. Good salesman and great prices, but I HIGHLY recommend you secure your financing elsewhere before buying a car from them.

Let me start by saying that I have always loved Chico Volkswagen. Between my wife and I we have purchased 4 cars from this dealership. After my wife and I were involved in an accident we went into Chico Volkswagen to look into replacing our 2018 Tiguan that was a total loss. When we purchased the vehicle we were told that Gap insurance would give us 1000 towards the purchase of a new vehicle. Upon bringing this up to the sales manager Dustin Drenon he treated us as if we were liars. From this point he became incredibly rude and condescending each time we interacted with him. My wife and I decided that it would be better to purchase a car elsewhere. We reached out to our GAP insurance and we were informed that they do indeed give us 1000 towards the purchase of a new car, but we would only be able to purchase the car from Chico Volkswagen in order to take advantage of this. We decided that even with the 1000 GAP would give us, it was not worth bringing our business back to Chico Volkswagen. We purchased a 2020 Tiguan R Line from Dublin Volkswagen and had an excellent experience.Chico Volkswagen’s service department is second to none, but I would not recommend purchasing a car from this dealership if Dustin Drenon is involved. After being involved in a major car accident he was incredibly insensitive, condescending and rude.

This is my second experience with Chico Volkswagen/Mazda. I am not usually one to write negative reviews or complain publicly as I understand everyone has off days, however, these photos are from the second visit Ive made to this service shop for recalls on my Mazda. The first visit involved opening up my dash to complete recall work and upon completion I found a piece of spare plastic in my passenger seat that turns out to be for the dash that technician forgot to install, easy fix, no big deal as the repair work was done. Upon this second visit to repair a separate recall issue I returned to the dealership to collect my car only to be notified that a small puncture had been made it my front bumper. I received no phone call to inform me of the accident, and while discussing the mishap I also received no apology from the man managing the situation. They are setting my car up for repair. I am hopeful that they will repair it properly with no further issues and in the future treat their customers with a bit more respect, sincerity, and honesty. I tell him we dont need his help and that he didnt need to come out drill me. He immediately cops an attitude and tells me that the dealer here didnt want people on his lot with my attitude and that I could leave, which we immediately did. After reading some other reviews I see where Dustin has a pattern of bad attitude. How the owner could have someone like him chasing away customers is shocking. Buyer beware ! I had a great experience purchasing a used Toyota from this dealership. I chose this dealership because they had the car I wanted. I was already preapproved with a good interest rate before showing up to check out the car, and I had also reviewed the carfax. The salesman I worked with was Craig. He was very easygoing and pleasant to do business with. He knew most of the details from the carfax off the top of his head, which is pretty impressive considering the number of used cars they have for sale. He did a good job explaining all of the cars features. The car itself was in great condition, whoever detailed it did a great job and the previous owner took good care of it. Its a solid car. No issues since driving it off the lot 500 miles ago.The finance manager (not going to try and spell her name) was also very kind and easy to work with. I did not feel like I was being pressured or manipulated into paying extra for things I did not want. She offered to try and beat the interest rate I came in with, but ultimately she could not. The whole process was pretty quick and easy, and everything was explained thoroughly. Compared to other dealerships I have shopped at, this was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend checking them out if youre on the market for a new or used car. I got the car I wanted at a great price and everybody I dealt with was nice and helpful.

The service department isn’t even worth one star. I went back to VW for servicing my Jetta, as the first time I had my car serviced there was fantastic! Why wouldn’t I go back? My car had to be towed to the center due to the engine issues(it wasn’t safe driving it from Corning in the condition it was in). The battery was fine with no issues at all. Two weeks later and I had to call them to find out not only was my car done, but they killed my battery & made me pay for it. Steve told me in response “well, it would have died in a week anyways.” The overall experience was subpar and unprofessional, with a lack of accountability. Also, if you own a German car, parts and repair are almost always going to be expensive. Ive taken my 2006 GTI to them several times and ended up shaking my head as I handed over the credit card. Not their fault though. Overall the staff is great, theyre honest and care about their customers. This didnt affect my rating, but they definitely need a new location! Mind you, other dealers charging above MSRP have the decency to be transparent about that in their asking price. I reach out to them, asking if its available, they confirm that it is. Then, I get this line: There is a $2,000 mark up on it and $895 for Auto Butler. Are you looking to pay cash or finance? I reply, Ok, Im alright to stop for now. I was afraid of things like that. Thank you any way though, to which she replies, I understand, what are you expecting to pay? I reply, The MSRP of $36,094 its advertised at plus relevant taxes, title, and license. I understand supplies are low and its a sellers market right now but Id argue to at least be transparent about it like a lot of other places are. No one really enjoys surprises like that. They dont offer loaner cars, they took over an hour and a half for an oil change, have no refreshments and refused to take the $25 off coupon that was mailed to me by VW for my next service. The warranty has proven to leave me wanting. Recently, the clutch disk catastrophically failed while I was driving, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. The dealership was all too happy to tow my car down to Chico (from Red Bluff.) This was likely because they knew it would be harder for me to retrieve after they told me just pulling out the transmission to look at it would cost me more than $900. They left it ambiguous as to whether I would be charged for this or if it would be covered by the warranty -- even if other parts that were definitely covered by the warranty were broken. Their final estimate for the repair was over $2000, but they carefully avoided telling me whether my warranty would cover any of that, even after directly questioning them. So now I have to drive down to Chico and tow my car all the way back here so I can fix it myself, which would probably cost around $500 maximum.

CROOKS! CON ARTISTS! ZERO STARSDont spend your money here.Went in on my lunch break for a simple oil change and the Service manager gave me an estimate of $109.84 (Oil change/ tire rotation). I asked him about any VIP promos or discounts because the car was purchased from Chico VW and he said they didnt apply to me. He even sold me on the extra $20 tire rotation that even Walmart does for free.When I got off of work the shuttle driver from the VW dealership was 25 minutes late. I saw a coupon online while I was at work, for an oil change/tire rotation for $69.99 at Chico VW. I asked if he would honor this coupon at the checkout and he said he wouldnt because the coupon must be present at the time of write up. I then asked him why he didnt mention the coupon earlier when I was asking about promotions. He knew all about the underlining details and fineprint of the promotions but neglected to tell me there was a coupon in the first place. The $109 then turned into $120 when it was time to pick up the car.The manager obviously knew all about the coupon and lied right to my face about it. I will never do business at such a shady establishment and you shouldnt either.

Went into this location for a oil change. Afterwards we picked up the car and no mention was made to any major issues to the car. While driving home we noticed a note in our paper work that it said power steering was empty but on the check off sheet (That shows green,yellow,red sections to check off if a area has a issue) it was marked as green (with other fluids)We get home and sure enough it is bone dry. So we take our second car out ORileys and take care of it ourselves. I dont know what to think here as honestly, if it was noticed they could have called and I would have just had them take care of it. Since then the fluid level hasnt changed so as far as I can tell there is no leak.

Update to my review! Nick, the service manager contacted me the next tuesday after this review.Volkswagon has fixed the issue with my sons car. The gas gage now works, the fuel filler tube no longer over flows. Nick, the service manager took care of everything, met my son at the door and drove the car into the shop. When I arrived, (I was meeting my son at the dealership to take him to breakfast, then work), Nick met me in the parking lot. I asked for a note stating this issue would not affect the engine and Nick provided that. The car was done before my sons lunch, my son called them and they came and picked him up at his work.All is well again and we received professional, quality service!Thank you Nick for taking such wonderful care of my sons car!-------------------I purchased 3 VWS here. I co-signed on one with my son.He bought a 2015 Wolfsburg passat. Right after he bought it in 2015, the back window stopped working. Now keep in mind, we live in Oroville and this is Chico. He worked full time in Oroville too.First and second time he took the car back, they said dust had gotten on a censor telling the car that the window had something blocking it from going up. He was charged 150.00 each time. The third time, someone finally listened to him and hmmmm the motor was bad. He paid 150.00 that time also.Now after someone hitting him, a evap hose was damaged causing lights to go on.After another 150.00, he found that out. He took the car in after I asked them if they dealt with insurance to get it fixed and they said they wouldnt deal with the insurance. But the manager got involved then and got it done.Todays trip is to bring the car back because after paying 80.00 to Pep Boys who put it on their scope & looking at VWS work, they found the job done wrong and emissions still leaking in the air. VW told me that they had to do their own 150.00 scan again to diagnose it. I said no, pull the wheel, pull off the plastic wheel well like pep boys did for free and check your work.If there is anything else wrong with it, we will take it back to Pep Boys, we cant afford your work and we want it done right. I am done with them! I am trading my VW passat in for a Cadillac!

I purchased sparkplug wires from the dealership with a lifetime warranty. 3 years later 1 of the OEM wires went bad so I called them up trying to get a new wire and they told me they dont have any history of me purchasing the part and said if I didnt have a receipt that there was nothing I could do. So I called for the warranty dealer which is also at the Chico dealership. They told me that she wouldnt be back to work for 5 days and shes the only person that can help me. I call BS. They can get on their computer and look up my name and tell me in about 2 minuets weather or not I purchased them, but its someone elses job. I need my vehicle for work so 5 days aint gonna cut it. It takes about 5 min to replace this wire and they want me to wait 5 days!? Never buying over priced parts from them again especially when they try to give me the run around for some sparkplug wires. Give me a break!

I was turned on to Volkswagen by a friend who owns Porsches. He said if you cant afford a Porsche get a VW since theyre built at same factory. Im glad he suggested it because they are very well built. Leased my first one at Redding VW, they closed so took lease in after it was up to Chico VW and traded for new one. The deal was very simple. Staff are very friendly and eager to let you test drive cars on the lot. Some of the lease paperwork wasnt sent to DMV which was a hassle and expect that not to happen again on the next trade in. Building is very nice, and modern and now they have a newer more modern building for their Mazdas. Servicing your vehicle there takes a long time, even for an oil change, so plan on dropping it off and them calling you when its ready.
