I bought a 2024 white Hyundai Venue. The entire process took 2.5 hours. I got exactly what I wanted, and the salesperson was great. The car is perky and fashionable. All the extras are so cool. Bluetooth, navigation, seat warmers, and exact setting of temperature for the cab. There is much more. Conversations with the car etc. Oh it has great suspension, feels solid, and handling is super easy. The safety features work great. It even has a pad to set your phone on and charge. I have to read the book to learn about all the other features. Also, a 10 year warranty for everything. It is my 4th new Hyundai.

What’s the point of making an appointment for a general car service (oil change and tire rotation) when it takes 3.5 hours,after they promised me a 2 hour service? I wasn’t able to pick up my child from daycare and they didn’t seem to care or have any urgency when I complained about the wait or ask why it’s taking so long. I have never had good experiences there and I won’t be returning.

Air bag light is on drivers side of car. Made an appointment, was told theyd have my car for four hours at about $205. Great! They actually had my car over 5 hours, then called and said, we need your car for another hour, and oh by the way, that will be another $205! What? Forget it! I drove many cars before without airbags, guess Ill do it again!

They did the most when I was under warranty. Replaced both catalytic converters on 02/02/23. A month later my battery was having issues. They replaced it with a faulty one on 03/07/23. Left a review about that experience as they had told me “you purchased a faulty battery from us” not that they had sold me a faulty battery & they charged me for the replacement one. Got contacted and refunded for that battery. Great follow up. At this time my mileage was at 78,134. Still under warranty but the line that read “Claim Type: WAR” stopped showing up on my receipts. On 04/21/23 my car was having trouble starting and my headlights were malfunctioning. Left my car overnight. Mind you, the “rate” on the receipts was 195.00 starting on 03/07/23, even though during that date I was still under the 80,000 mile warranty. On 01/17/24 I had an oil change done and mentioned that I needed a smog check and if they thought I’d be able to pass. Front desk urged me to do a check engine light check costing around $195.I went to do the smog check anyways since I couldn’t afford to spend another $195 on top of that expense. Passed smog on 01/24/24. Today, 04/09/24 I went in for a check engine light. Rate was $205, I assumed this was for the check engine service. When I went to pick up my car I was charged $410. “It’s $205 per hour” said the front desk person. When I asked out loud, “$205 per hour?” he looked visibly uncomfortable and started to try and cover the receipt paper. Why are y’all never consistent with your charges? Why did I get charged so much for labor this time? Labor costs since 12/20/2022 have ranged from $16-$97. I’m baffled that this time the labor costs ended up being $410. When I dropped off the car, I digitally signed to pay for the check engine service and the total was $205. As I was waiting for the car, they told me the service person requested an additional hour. They didn’t tell me that the additional hour was going to add up to another $205. There were no repairs done to my car and I wasn’t told what may be wrong even though I brought a sheet with potential repairs to be done. I simply asked which one of these repairs should get done for a trip I have coming up soon. Again, they urged me to do the check engine service and here I am. Scammed out of $410.

Always disappointed with some of checking staff and their lack of rapport. The wait time to get minor service for a fuse was nearly two hrs and that was with an appointment! Have had many cars and services and this dealership has never met the customer service standards of others. Sorry to say. But to date, Casey seems to be the first and only Service representative with customer service skills!

Your front of house employees are great, Remi and the other service tech Romero are both great.The last time I took my car into be inspected I did notice I had a rubber piece to my passenger door missing though.Mistakes happen and i understand that.If you could replace that for me I’m not to upset about it. I took a picture to show were I noticed it was missing. The mechanics might have found it in their work space. I’m not even sure what to call it. Thank you. You have a good team. This heat can be exhausting.

Able to book an early morning appointment for routine maintenance. Although prices have gone up, I can trust you hat the work was done right the first time. They will give you a ride to and from your home which you s fantastic. My only complaint would be they don’t offer a complimentary car wash like other dealers. I dropped my car off spotless and returned dusty and with bird droppings. They did offer to wipe off the droppings after I pointed it out, but construction next door made a mess of my car.

I had an engine code and read about an extended warranty for my 2011 Sonata with only 113k miles. It’s a well known engine problem (see Google and Hyundai website). The dealer took a day long to diagnose it but said the problem was not related to the rrcall. When I was leaving they asked me to give them more time to look for a solution. After 6 business day they said the manufacturer denied the warranty even though the engine was condemned. When I left the dealer the flat tire light was on, but they said it was a sensor problem. Well, after I pump some air in a gas station the light went off. How can I trust a dealer that doesn’t even put some air in my tires? 3 stars for the effort to tell the manufacturer what they supposed to do. Now, I hope for a class suite to remedy this.

This place is a scam! I bought a 30k car with the promise of service for 2 years or 36 thousand miles. The car have the lights on saying needs an oil change, I have a sticker on my windshield with the miles for the next oil change and is due I come here they say they will charge me because is just every 8.000 miles. I’m wondering what is going to be the next thing that they will say ohhh no is not like that, I’m not even counting on the warranty anymore, because if they can’t keep their word with a simple thing as a oil change can you imagine the rest? Just go somewhere else where they can honor what they say to you not just making promises for you to purchase the vehicle.

We were very impressed and thankful with the service adviser, Ronda, and Technician, Jose. We were traveling to So. California when our Ioniq5 had a battery maintenance error message pop up. They got us in promptly and stayed on task and inspection until they were able to diagnose the problem. When the necessary part came in they got the car in to complete the repairs promptly. They were compassionate in dealing with this very stressful situation. I would highly recommend their dealership.

I had an appointment to drop my car off for a recall. I dropped my car off and two hours later I got a call stating that the parts needed to be ordered and that I could pick my car up and they would let me know when the parts were in. A family member took off work to provide me with a ride after dropping my car off so I found it very unprofessional that I wasn’t informed the parts needed weren’t in before dropping my car off. It was a major inconvenience.

We were not sold on a specific used car, so we were introduced to more than one. They even took the time to show us what it would take to buy or lease a new Hyundai. After driving the 2017 Tucson we were ready to deal! They showed an incredible amount of patience while we were deciding what additional coverage to get. Sat there for 2 hours of them “talking to the manager” and then coming back and forth. in that time I asked for my credit report 3 times they gave it to me at the end while I had my family there and needed to leave soon because of my young child.They underreported my credit score to me verbally saying they were still printing it and “looking at rates”not using any SPECIFIC terms saying things like “yeah it needs work but let me get it for u in a few mins” and then had a contract in front of me. Hey I’m the idiot I signed it but the ridiculousness of asking for you 700 credit score report (finding out after while youre contending with your young child at a Hyundai dealership for 3 hours is awful) and get screwed into a 10.49% APR on a used Hyundai and they didn’t even reset the blue link, so that’ll be fun to call and figure out with them. Thank you Chico Hyundai I will never do business here again. And ensure nobody else I know does. This is poor sales behavior and will be reported to the BBB. Dealerships are on their way out and these practices will ensure you’refirst to go. Good luck.Edit: I’m good on calling, I’ll buy my next vehicle elsewhere. Where they don’t hide your credit report and play games until they get an 11.54% apr on a 700 credit score customer. Truly the most despicable in the business. Take a look at my contract if you care or if you’re even a manager and tell yourself it isn’t an absolute scam.

I want to thank Chico Hyundai and staff for going above and beyond to make something right! I had a ding / chip in my driver side door after service for anti-theft update. I spoke with the manager and he and his team went far beyond the fix of the ding / dent; the service team repaired several dents and touched up spots that had been there for years! They did not have to do this! Impressive! Grateful!

I initially went in thinking that this was a Hyundai/Kia dealership…it’s not. I thought the Kia ev6 would be a good fit but because it is not a Kia dealership tried the ionic 5. Anthony Hernandez was representing Hyundai and I couldn’t have been happier; no pressure, patience with questions and I walked away. A week later I returned and made the purchase. I have been twice in the past 7 months, since I began helping my elderly parents with more tasks than previously. The first time I was a little skeptical because of all the things that seemed to be needed for a very low mileage car. When I went back yesterday for routine maintenance, nothing extra needed to happen. I have been dreaming about a new car for over a year now and started test driving different models in the last few weeks at different dealerships. The first time I went into Chico Hyundai I met Isaac who was super easy to talk with, knowledgable of all their cars and wasn’t the typical pushy sales guy. We talked about what I was wanting and needing and then he dove a bit deeper with nothing being on his lot that matched my criteria. He said there was a Calligraphy Night Edition Palisade in transit that sounded like the perfect fit and that he would keep me updated on when it came in. The service department is SOOOOOOO BAD!!!!! Part broke that was under warranty. In a nut shell it took them 2 weeks to order a part, then they refused to schedule the repair appointment for another 2 weeks. They NEVER called us to say the part is in can we schedule you? I finally resorted to calling them daily, re-explaining the situation daily and asking for an appointment. They supposedly can’t schedule anything with out an “advisor” who never calls you back. My car has been down for a month and it will be another week before they will even get it in. Also their concierge services do not exist, but the walk home was not that bad.

They knew what I needed and didnt have the part ready, they had plenty of time to order it and have it shipped for when my appointment came. They don’t answer their phone. I called for 4 days to get my warranty oil change scheduled. When it went in, I called over 10 times that day trying to reach a service advisor. Finally called sales and they got me over. The work I requested - and was at my expense- had not been done. They said they would do that work. My mechanic thought it best that I go to a dealership for service. First everyone and reception was fine.I arrived at 8:30 car taken.back at 9am. My chief complaint even though I agreed was for what difficulty I had it doesnt take that long to diagnose. So yes like everyone these days some lack of knowledge and intentional overcharging. All that with a smile.The receptionist was the best, the mechanics however although nice. Seems wasted time and my money as there was no labor. Especially since what problem I had didnt need a diagnostic test!Just some head knowledge after all you are in the hyundai business. This would have taken 45 min. At the max.

The only thing they have to be careful is with their wording they had told me that my car would take 4 to 7 days to be fixed. they would have a loaner car for me and come to find out. I had to rent a car from them for $70 a day when I was already going to spend around $3,000. They should say we have rental if needed not we have a loaner car for you. One other thing I seen my airbag light was on and they never mentioned or said anything to me if I wanted to get it fixed. I hope in the future they have better communication and service. Im not usually a fan of dealerships. I did my research and asked around before driving 90 miles to Chico Hyundai. I had called ahead and spoke with Dom, confirmed the vehicle I was interested in was actually on the lot. I also was assured the price listed online was the price on the vehicle. No mark ups, hidden or market adjustment (like other dealerships.) The MSRP was the actual price. Upon arrival, all was as promised with no surprises. Working with Dom and Nick was easy and clear. Theres ALWAYS some kind of pressure in the negotiation and contract signing, but Id consider Chicos to be a 1 on a 10 scale. In the climate of todays auto sales market, Id say I got a fair deal and am pleased with not getting screwed with. BUY ELSEWHERE: While I do not argue that Hyundai makes a good vehicle and I love my car, I would not purchase from this dealership again because of the service and lack of commitment to their customers. At purchase, I was enticed by the deals offered for being a local buyer. Free oil changes, tire rotations, special warranty and carwashes for 3 years. This is untrue. The first time I tried to bring my new car in for a wash they told me that they do not do this. Their service department DOES NOT answer the phone, EVER. I called for several days and ultimately had to go in to schedule an appointment, why? Because they dont answer the phone. When I was in the office the phone was ringing and when I asked why they dont answer they said they are supposed to have a receptionist that answers but she never does so we dont either. The problem is, in order to get the free oil changes and tire rotations, you have to get your oil change at EXACTLY the right mileage or its not covered. Also, they do not service the vehicle at the frequency recommended, they will only give an oil change every 10k miles, and you can only get your tires rotated at the same frequency. The kicker? If you have your vehicle serviced elsewhere in the interim, you no longer qualify for your free services. The special warranty they offered (which I paid a great deal of money for) is to cover any dings, scratches or nicks in the body or windshield. I waited 2 hours for an oil change, and during this time the tech was supposed to enquire about my warranty for a windshield ding. When I asked him about it, he said he hadnt had the opportunity to call them yet but he would and he would get into contact with me. He didnt Called his supervisor and waited on hold for 15 after trying to call their office 4 times, to ultimately be disconnected by the operator, now no one answers the line.I would hate to have something major happen to my vehicle and have to depend on this group. My advice is to purchase elsewhere- same deals, better service.

There is a dealership much closer to my home, but I doubt they can match the quality of the Chico service team. My car’s service is always completed in a very timely fashion and the prices have been quite reasonable thus far.The service advisors are fantastic. Despite dealing with a crushing volume of customers literally booked back to back, they’re always friendly and professional, and always find ways to accommodate people like me who just don’t have the discipline to arrive on time for anything.Also worth mentioning is their courtesy shuttle driver. He’s just a genuinely nice guy and he always remembers the repeat customers.These guys are the unsung and overscheduled heroes of this dealership. While it’s pretty unlikely that I would buy another car from there, I would most certainly take it there for maintenance and repairs. And I would recommend the service department to anyone else without any hesitation.

I drove down from Whitmore for a 40,000 mile service which turns out to be an oil change. Okay and there is a recall they can do. My only request was a new cabin filter that I needed as last oil change place did not have one. I also had a $10.00 off coupon for the oil change and one for the filter It took 3+hours and in my haste to get home I forgot to ask them about either thing. They did not replace the filter.

Look Hyundai could improve by hiring a few more engineers to work in the service department. The service writers are working as they can. T.C. was certainly the hardest working guy there. I wish I could give a stellar review of the Chico Hyundai experience. I cant.I made an appointment for 10/4 at 10a.m. I decided to drop off my car the evening before because I wouldnt want to drive early the next morning from Yuba City to Chico, 45 miles one way. I rented a car at my own expense to come home.The infotainment screen was not working and I was told $3300. To fix it. There was a rattle in the front when I drove the car. It took them four full days to find that was the problem. I spent $390. On diagnostics. There was also a recall for the ABS system. Now each day I drove to Chivo to see if they were done with my car. A total of 5 return trips over the week. Closed for the weekend and let one a week after i dropped the car off. All the while paying for my rental car.They found the rattle was a strut which replacing both is recommended and not in stock but the cost would be $2800. The bill was going to be a total of $7000. My rental car was $1000. For the week.I dont understand why it took a full 4 days to find a noisy shock absorber. The recall puts needed to be ordered so I have to go back and I opted for another shop to fix the car. Amazon listed a head unit for $500. Havent even checked on the shocks yet. They offered me $3500 trade in on the car. However even they advertise a sakes department is only as good as its service. I am not confident that they tried rebooting the Nav system or checking the fuses since I knew for certain it had a blown fuse when I dropped it off. That cemented my feelings that the techs are not completely honest about the efforts to fix the navigation system. I was really hoping that they would tell me they tried multiple times to reboot or checked all the fuses etc. Instead I asked about information they should have offered to begin with. Not happy about the whole experience

We had a recall that needed to be addressed and it is hard for us to get to Chico Hyundia as we live 90 miles away. We were able to make an appointment and my wife drove down to address it.What is important to note is that my wife is 2 months pregnant and having horrible morning sickness. The staff went out of their way to try to help her be comfortable while she was waiting. They got the job done very timely and made her comfortable while she waited. Could not be happier, except if there was a closer dealer. :-)

He delivered us the exact car that our son wanted and made the whole process smooth. He was true to his word and this was probably the easiest car buying experience we have had. As usual with car dealerships. Time quotes were not nearly accurate, Theysent an 18 year old driverto deliver car and handle paperwork that he had not been trained on. The paperwork that required signature was inaccurate and made me very uncomfortable and skeptical. In this contract, you will waive your rights to the cooling off period that is REQUIRED by law. Salesperson, Alex was very approachable and believable but when it came right down to the overall experience, the dealership was seriously not very good to work with. Even personal promises by the sales rep were not fulfilled.We really like our new vehicle (no regrets) and the Hyundai brand but will not likely purchase from this dealership in the future.

I just purchased my first new car from Chico Hyundai and I have to say, it was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! Earlier this year I inquired about a Hybrid Tuscon and was put on a waiting list. Isaac kept in contact with me giving me updates whenever they were available. The car finally arrived just days after I had my baby, talk about timing! I thought for sure I’d have to let this one pass as there was absolutely no way I could make it down to Chico before they could sell it to someone else.. but I was wrong! Isaac went above and beyond to get me into this car, preparing all of the paperwork ahead of time and even delivered it to me in Redding, all in a matter of a day! I had been shopping around for different cars in the meantime and I can tell you without a doubt, none of the other dealerships would have done what these guys did for us.
