I highly recommend using Cal Energy Registry if you are a HERS Rater, contractor, or engineer for all your Title 24 paperwork. The registry is very user-friendly and doesn’t complicate anything for the user. The pricing for paperwork for HERS Raters is better than any competitor and the customer service you receive is unmatched. Also, if you have any questions or concerns at all reaching the Cal Energy office is effortless and Juanita as well as Rob are very helpful with any and everything. Received much appreciated assistance from Irma Alvarez - Gomez, the CHEERS Customer Service Agent who patiently and courteously explained to me, a distressed homeowner consumer, what a completed HERS form of 29? pages should include. I ascertained through her help that one contractor had provided me was incomplete. She further gave me contact information for HERS Certified Inspector who had signed off on a form representing that my contractor had completed a job and at my house was energy efficient when it is not.She also explained to me where at the website I could click on a link to Lodge a formal complaint against HVAC contractor. A true example of going above and beyond! She earned my 3 Cs of courtesy, competency, and commitment to providing service! I am grateful that it was she who took my call.

Juanita at Cal Energy is the best, always helpful and can answer just about any question. Cal Energy is also great because for each alteration of the HVAC system there may be 3 or 4 different CF3Rs. We only get charged per job not per CF3R.

I had an issue with an address correction on my compliance form and my contractor was not doing anything to help with this issue “ and as the home owner I had to figure it out of course (but if I would’ve known to contact Cheers from the start) “So I emailed cheers and Juanita responded within minutes she asked a few questions and gave me a few resources which didn’t reply so I emailed her again the next day to ask what else can be done so she looked in to it “which she didn’t have to” and few minutes later “boom “ she took care of the issue by correcting it “!! CHEERS Registry has the best designed website and amazing customer service. The energy code is confusing enough for home owners but the registry does not need to be. CHEERS is the only registry I use.

Easy to get my Title 24 docs for permit. I do a few HVAC change outs per week and always get a HERS rater. I think their Pro search will encourage HVAC installers to get permits and use HERS raters.
