After multiple traumatic dentist experiences growing up, I cannot express enough how much I love this dentist. Dr. Salvatierra is the most patient, kind and all-encompassing dentist I have ever been to, and I will never be going anywhere else. Going to the dentist is always anxiety-inducing, but every time I come, Dr. Sal walks me through every step of the procedure, taking the time to make sure I understand whats going on and what to expect before he does anything, and he makes what is stereotypically a terrible experience, a walk in the park. I always leave with a wonderful smile, feeling relieved, educated, and well taken care of. The front office is efficient and thorough. The appointment reminders are super helpful. The TVs on the ceiling are a brilliant distraction. The office is clean and up to date with some of the latest dental equipment. They even do crowns in office, in an hour! The staff is efficient and friendly. I cannot recommend this dentists office, and Dr. Salvatierra enough. 10/10.

I hate the dentist. I’ve had the worst experiences and it’s kept me from taking care of my teeth. Dr. Moser was so darn kind and explained everything so well so I knew exactly what to expect. He performed a root canal and it was not painful AT ALL. The staff were very sweet and helpful. I’ll be going back again!

Broke one of my front veneers during dinner. Dr. Moser got me in the very next day. He was able to manufacture a new veneer the same day. I was able to walk out of the office 2 hours later with a new tooth that was a perfect match to my existing teeth. Dr. Moser is a suburb dentist and an absolute artist at cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Charles Dental Group in Fair Oaks is wonderful! Dr. Hersh is outstanding with my kids. I like Dr. Hersh too! I really also like Cynthia and Darla who are the hygienists who we schedule with. Cynthia is very gentle with my teeth and if you like a nice deep cleaning but no pain, I like Darla. My teeth feel so smooth today after my cleaning yesterday. Top notch service!

I broke a 13-year-old crown, and normally I see Dr. Moser (who I would trust with my life), but he was out of town. I almost decided to wait until he was back because I get nervous and Im very picky with my dentists, but I went ahead and booked with Dr. Fisher. Im glad I did. Dr. Fisher was excellent--easygoing and fun bedside manner, and his skills were top notch. He produced a beautiful, perfectly-fitting crown for me and explained all the steps along the way. I was very happy with the result. I was also happy with his dental assistant Carlos. Carlos was friendly and made me feel at ease, and he was very gentle while taking x-rays and assisting. I was grateful that the friendly front desk staff was able to get me in within a day. Excellent experience overall!

My partner had a dental emergency in the middle of the night & we were seen the very next day & they did a very good job. His tooth pain is gone & we werent charged very much. This problem stemmed from the fact that other dentists had put him out for months on end, even after making multiple appointments on time. This place had us in and out, same day, no problem. We were both astonished by the sheer professionalism. I would even go so far to say that I want to make this my own dental practice for future dental emergencies. Great team, great bedside manner, reasonable pricing. What more can you ask for from a dentist?

I am soooooo happy I chose Charles Dental Group . I have an anxiety and panic attacks on a daily basis and it’s very hard for me to visit a dentist since I still remember not the best experience I had previously so I was postponing it as much as I could but when I visited Charles Dental Group and spoke to Dr.Fisher and explained him my fear doing any kind of work at all on my teeth he assured me that he will do his best to make me feel comfortable and make it painless as much as possible and guess what??? He did just that. Just walked out of the office with a smile on my face and 2 amazing beautiful crowns . Now I’m actually thinking and planing my next visit to check if my other teeth need some work or not. I’m sure all other doctors there as professional but I’m going to see only Dr.Fisher from now on only. He took his time and didn’t rush the process and made sure I get breaks and feel good while he was working MAGIC . I travel all the way from Miami, FL to Sacramento just to be treated by Dr. Moser and Dr. Javdan. Both are very knowledgeable in their fields, professional and gentle. They explain your procedure and answer any questions or concerns you have. I trust their medical advice. They are friendly and their staff members are also very friendly and attentive. Genuinely a really good place to get my teeth worked on. As someone who lives close by, and whos seen just about everything when it comes to bad dental, I didnt expect to be wowed by such enthusiastic professionalism. They set me up a same day extraction, which was funny because I thought getting that would be like pulling teeth. Even let my fiance back into the office to chill with us while I was getting my teeth worked on. Its an anxiety of mine to be by myself at the dentist for some reason, and they just ran with it. Thank you all for being a reprieve from so so many bad dental experiences. We wish yall the best, and will be making this our new favorite office. Hopefully we can refer you all some business. I have been going there for years. She is awesome. The office is clean and sanitized between patients . If you are looking for a great dental office this is it! I was very disappointed. While making the apptt i told the rep that i had corona a few days ago. She said, it is okay because u will be ok the day of apptt... when i went there the hygienist refuse to do treatment as she said it is the 14th day.It was waste of my time to travel there and i had to change all my plans. I hv used this place for a very very long time...but yesterday i was frustrated with them. The staff at the front desk was also not welcoming or courteous.

I get freaked out when I know I have a dentist appointment, However Charles Dental Group calms me and the are very gentle. I have not had a bad experience with Hannah or Bryanne the hygienist I have seen, they are both super gentle. The dentist are caring also, they go over things with you and ask if you have any questions. I just moved to Fair Oaks about a year and a half ago and I am so thankful I found a Dental Office as wonderful as my Paradise Dentist.

Nice people but both the dentist and the front desk receptionist I had were negligent.I went to get a new crown for the first time after Invisalign, and didn’t bring my retainer. I ask to reschedule so I can bring it next time but the dentist told me it would not be a big deal and proceeded with the procedures. The new crown was fine but my retainer doesn’t fit at all with that crown. Called them and they pretty much ghosted me for a week (they told me they would call back but never did). Wasn’t until my third call after a week, they finally told me to go back so they can fix the retainer issue. But by that point, my teeth have already moved a little due to wearing the not-fitting retainer (they never told me not to wear it).Anyways, just remember to bring your retainer when you get a new crown so you make the same mistake as I did lol.Side story: I overpaid accidentally, so the receptionist told me they would reimburse me via a check and I would receive it in two weeks. However, after waiting for two weeks and not receiving it, I called back and they told me it won’t be sent until my insurance pays the claim, which is totally fine, but I wish they told me that from the beginning so I didn’t have to check my mailbox so frequently for the past two weeks.

I had an old crown replaced. Dr. Moser was great. No pain, the crown was made while I waited, really beats having to have a temporary put in than have to go back for the permanent one. The building is tucked between to very large trees so dont miss that turn for the parking lot. Theres plenty of parking for the size of the building. They own both sides of the building so it might be a little confusing which side A or B to go to but they tell you as soon as you come in where your appointment is. On the street side the B suite is more modern. Both sides have waiting rooms and there is plenty of seats. I had treatments on both sides and everything was great. They have pretty modern equipment too as my last dentist didnt have. The staff is incredibly friendly. For me, the prices seem about half as much as my last dentist so Im happy.

To start, I was able to fill out all of the patient info and dental insurance forms on-line, before my visit: so much better than rushing them in the waiting room!On my visit the front office staff was friendly and welcoming, and my appointment was on time - no waiting. Hygienist Nicole was super efficient, and explained everything that she was doing, regarding the x-rays, the perio numbers, and my cleaning. She gave me some tips on oral care, too.Dr. Salvatierra is very personable. He seems more interested in the functionality and health of the patients teeth, than in pushing costly cosmetic procedures. That being said, he did inquire about what I would want to to my teeth, cosmetically. Totally cool guy, and great chairside manner.

I had a crown done by Dr. Moser and could not have been more happy. It was pain free! The technology for creating the crown was top notch - amazing. It took two hours start to finish and I walked out with a permanent crown - no temporary to deal with, no repeat visit to get the permanent crown. I have been going to the Charles Dental Group for a little over a year now and I am so glad that I found this place. A good friend recommended Dr. Moser so I went out on a limb and made an appointment. My first appointment was for a cleaning and my hygienist was THE BEST! I dont think my teeth have ever been so clean! I believe her name was Brianne (I cant remember how to spell her name so I apologize if I spelled it wrong here). I have had to go back for a few cavities since my first visit and every time I walk in the door I feel like I am on an episode of Cheers and that song, Where everybody knows your name......... starts to play. Everyone is super friendly here and I am very impressed with all the staff I have met thus far. I have already gotten a few friends to start going to the Charles Dental Group and they have all had wonderful experiences (I never thought I would use wonderful and dental in the same sentence). If I could provide a zero I would! Less than six years ago I had a dental bridge put in that cost me $10,000. Recently the dental bridge became loose by no fault of my own.I scheduled an appointment because I wanted them to remove it, re-cement it and put it back in.The so-called experts there took a look at it and couldn’t figure out how to do anything. They made a halfhearted attempt to take it out to no avail.At that point, Their expert explained that there was nothing that he could do except provide me a $10,000 estimate for an entirely new bridge.So I went to a new dentist, Who took out the loose bridge and re-cemented it. He explained that the bonding they used was faulty And no longer held the bridge together.It took him less than two minutes to remove the bridge, put the bonding on and put them back in my mouth and I was out the door after a cleaning.I hope people learn from my tragic mistake of doing business with these imposters and steer clear of this business entirely.There is a reason they have a few stars and hopefully they have less stars now because that’s what they deserve!I am thoroughly disgusted and completely dissatisfied with their product and their business ethics.No thanksScottVredenburg

Cracking a crown is no fun. I called Charles Dental, and they fit me in on a busy Tuesday. Dr Salvatierra cleaned the remains of the old crown, remade a new crown from a harder material, and had it on my tooth in about 2 hours. Zero pain, and the next day, my crown is absolutely undetectable in my mouth. Fits as if it were my normal tooth. Granted, this went very smoothly, but this is the norm for my experiences at Charles Dental. Great staff, great doctors. Highly recommend.

First, I want to say that I have a lifetime of dentist fear/anxiety. Second, from the moment I stepped foot in these offices so much of my anxiety has subsided. It took me 30 years to find a dentist that I actually look forward to seeing. Ive been to Drs. Salvatierra and Hersch. They are both open, kind, gentle, and friendly. All the staff in these offices are like family--when you walk in there they know your name, greet you like youve been coming there for years, and Ive never once felt like just a patient (in a good way). I had a an emergency root canal a year ago that could have been the WORST experience of my life. It was pain like I have never experienced before. I called the emergency line at 3 in the morning and had a phone call returned not even 5 minutes later. They moved my appointment up to 8 am on a SATURDAY, without question and within 5 minutes of sitting in the chair they had me numbed and relaxed. I didnt feel a thing and the relief of being treated like I matter and not having to experience any more excruciating pain made me a fan of Charles Dental for life. Between me and my husband weve had just about every dental procedure done in this office (wisdom teeth extracted, root canals, crowns, fillings, replacement fillings, etc.) and I have never walked out of their offices unsatisfied. I recommend them to anyone who has dental anxiety; anyone who doesnt like preachy, condescending dentists; anyone who likes friendly, real people who actually care about you. Basically, if you have a mouth with teeth in it (and even if you dont) you should go here. Im truly a fan for life. Thank you!

Recently I had my teeth cleaned by Bryanne at Charles Dental. She is very sweet and personable. She is very thorough and gentle as well. Love her! In the same breath, her father, Dr. Blair Moser, my dentist there just did a crown and found a hidden cavity on the adjacent tooth.He too is incredibly thorough and a perfectionist to make everything perfect for me with his gentle demeanor. His assistant, (Im sorry, I dont know her name) a lovely blonde Russian lady was very nice, equally attentive and thorough.One of the things I love about Charles dental is that it is a true family business. Many are related, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, cousins and all of those that are family, just not by blood. Everyone there is absolutely wonderful! Love them all! Thank you!

I first met Dr. Charles back in the 90s. Dr. Charles and Dr. Mosher are honestly the only Dentist that I can whole heartedly (not sure how that is spelled) Trust. Cynthia has been my dental hygienist for the past 10 years. I will not go to any other hygienist. She has proven to be such a professional hygienist in several ways. She makes sure that I am comfortable going into the procedure. If there is any pain involved, she apologises and makes any possible corrections before trying to continue. Nice people on the surface but TERRIBLE dentists. Too bad you cant put ZERO stars! My experience is with Dr. Salvatierra. I had sever pain, which they took advantage of, promising to give a discount if I chose them for the issue. It ended up still being more expensive than my regular dentist and others I had called.I needed a root canal and a crown, which he provided. Absolutely HORRIBLE job. Within a few short months my pain returned as did an infection. After antibiotics ran their course I went in to have a follow up since the pain was still there. He saw the issue but couldnt fix his own shotty work and referred me to a specialist. Now I had to have his work redone by someone else and pay for it all over again to this new specialist; which was even more expensive. Dr. Salvatierra didnt refund any of his terrible work or cover any of the rework the other specialist had to do. I was also visiting my regular dentist for other check-ups in-between the issues with Dr. Salvatierra. Luckily, they were taking very good x-rays that shows Dr. Salvatierras terrible work and the difference between Dr. Salvatierras work and the work the new specialist had done. They compared Dr. Salvatierras work to work theyve seen done in 3rd world countries. Pathetic and scary.Then to make it even worse, the crown he had placed, cracked within the year and ended up breaking off piece by piece, threatening the integrity of the root canal. I then had to go in to yet another dentist, pay yet again for work Dr. Salvatierra had done, and have all the pieces left from the cracked crown removed and a new crown put in; (one that actually was quality and could be inserted properly).Needless to say, I will NEVER return to Dr. Salvatierra and recommend everyone stay away from that practice. They may appear nice on the surface but they only care about money; yet dont have the quality, expertise or professionalism that goes with the premium bill they charge.Everything Dr. Salvatierra had done, had to be redone by others and I ended up having to pay for it 3 times over due to his mistakes and terrible work.** Update ** - Recently another attempt was made to make this right with this office. I was promised they would look into it again and get back with me. What did they actually do? Dr. Salvatierra HAS NOW BLOCKED ME on social media. Just another sign this office is only interested in your money. STAY AWAY!!!They still, to this date, April 2020, have not made things right with my situation!
