2023-05-03 16:41:15Our homeowners association in Carpinteria asked Channel Data to install five wireless cameras for us. Connecting them wirelessly was a challenge because they are spread over a very large area. But David Lloyd did a great job! It wasnt as simple as we originally thought but David persisted. He returned several times and always expeditiously. He was amazingly responsive often answering email questions late in the evening. This went far beyond the call of duty. Eventually we had to change the system a little bit to make it all work but again he did quickly and efficiently. As a result Im confident now that if we want to expand further or if we have problems that arise David will be ready to help out. I highly recommend them to anyone wishing to install systems like this.

2020-07-07 06:00:56I’m new in town and was in an unusual situation. I accepted a position but was living in a hotel in the meantime. My company gave me a computer but in order to update the security settings and log on, I had to plug it in via Ethernet into a router. Every place I went to in town had policies restricting me from doing this. I called Channel Data Systems and within 5 minutes they said they could help me out! I drove down and entered the store, everyone was very polite and I was handed a 25 ft Ethernet cable. I was able to reset my security settings and everything went smooth with IT. If you have any problems with your computer, I highly recommend this place! Thank you so much for assisting me every step of the way!

2016-10-08 14:30:29No reviews!? How... These guys saved my business when my email servers went down in the middle of the day. They had me back up and running in a couple of hours. I went to an online company last time and it took them three days. I lost a lot of business because of that. Might depend on the circumstances, but it was much nicer to be able to ask questions face to face. They were very professional, and empathetic about my situation. They recommended that I turn on backups to minimize future loss. I cant believe the other guys didnt go that extra mile for me when it was so obvious to Dane. Now Im working with him to get a more reliable server in place (mine is 10 years old) with something that will not only make backups, but reduce damage during power outages and keep my data safe even if my drives fail.Its a small place with only a few employees, but I like that because I know their names and it has a small town, courteous feel there. As a small business, Im always going to trust other small businesses because CDS treats me like my business matters and they understand that if I lose clients, thats hard on the finances. My little place means so much to me, but to those huge repair places in town, Im just another review.If you support small businesses in Sb, give these guys a chance. Theyll take care of you. 2020-03-18 19:18:06Channel Data Systems is the valuable remote IT department for me as an individual, our small business and many others. If I have an IT problem, I tap a button, give a quick explanation about the problem and they login to my network and go to work.
