Chad is a champion - hes an amazing realtor, negotiator, and overall person, with great communication skills and overall values. Chad helped us smoothly navigate through an extremely complicated 1031 exchange process, and come out with a beautiful and profitable new investment property..This was out first 1031 (which comes with serious time pressures and big tax issues if anything goes wrong), and Chad patiently and smoothly took us through the process to find a great property, and then take it to the finish line. Chad got our deal closed with plenty of time to spare, despite an extremely difficult seller and tenant issues we had to work through.Although Chad has other clients, we always felt like his first priority. He was always available, always on top of all the details and communication threads, and was able to bring in excellent partners as needed, like an inspector, lawyer, and even liased with city officials in order to address (and eventually dismiss) building issues on the triplex we purchased with our exchange funds.If you are doing a deal in Los Angeles, be smart and work with Chad.

Our experience with Chad Schlotterback was wonderful - he made a notoriously stressful and difficult process easy. (First time home buyers over here!) Chad went above and beyond, staying in communication almost constantly, and letting us know beforehand if hed be temporarily out of reach at any point.We really appreciated Chads exceptional ability to follow up on our behalf throughout the process, keeping everything moving forward on all fronts with sellers/ loan agencies/ inspections. He did an excellent job of representing our needs and concerns throughout the process, making sure all of our questions and more were answered and addressed.He was knowledgable about the history of the neighborhoods we were looking at, and provided helpful insight on the character of different areas surrounding houses we toured. He provided helpful insight into factors essential to consider in buying a home.Overall, having someone so available to answer our questions and helping us navigate the home buying process at each step, with dedication, a sharp/ keen/ fresh perspective, and a great sense of humor was just what we needed in helping us to find a great home. Chad was so helpful in guiding us through our first time purchasing a home. We knew almost nothing about the process, and he was ready and willing to explain even the most mundane things to us and to make sure we felt comfortable with the process. He always advocated for our best interests, and were really pleased to have gotten to work with him.

Chad is a fantastic person and that’s where it starts. Chad has a great ability to listen and truly hear what your wants and needs are. Then, Chad delivers on them. Chad has been a friend and trusted advisor for years. I speak and spread great praise for him constantly. I owe Chad a great debt of gratitude that could never be paid back. Chad is the best realtor I’ve ever worked with. Works incredibly hard for you. Knows a lot of people in the LA area. I literally wouldn’t have bought my condo without him. The condo was in litigation, so my original lender was unable to finance my loan. Chad called someone he knew who specialized in litigation loans, and next thing you knew I was the proud owner of a fantastic unit. He got me a great deal, too. And he doesn’t just disappear, he assisted me when I had questions about my homeowners insurance. I will definitely turn to him again. Highly recommend him.

The Schlotterback helped me purchase my very first home! As single professional woman who was paying the down payment with her own hard earned cash, I appreciated that Chad always listened to me, offered advice and opinions, but let me steer the course. I never felt pressured to pick a place, but instead he encouraged me to see as many houses as I would like and then play hardball in negotiations.Highly recommend!! And he will be my first call for when its time to upgrade :)
