How often do you find a doctor who is both patient and extremely capable. Dr. Nowain’s approach to colonoscopy and tablet bowel prep makes life so much easier. And on top of it, he and his staff are so kind and caring. Highly recommend.

Dr. Nowain is like an old fashioned doctor who actually takes the time to get to know his patients. Immediately I felt like I was in good hands. He is affable, very attentive, seems to genuinely care, and is patient as well. It is rare to find doctors that are generous with their time these days. Dr. Nowain went over my issue with me and explained in detail everything that could be going wrong. I was very satisfied with the visit ! The staff was also top notch, quick to respond (they slipped me in when someone had cancelled a week earlier than my planned appointment ) and very friendly and professional. The office is impeccable as well. I highly recommend Dr. Nowain !

Doctor Ari Nowain was very patient, caring and knowledgeable. I drove out about an hour to see him, and it was definitely worth it! I’m happy with my visit and hopeful that the medication he prescribed for my medical condition will work, if not he has a plan B ready. Also the front office was super friendly and sweet. I highly recommend you see him if you’re questioning it. I got blood work done in my visit also, and went down stairs to pick up my medication at their pharmacy. The office was very active on taking action with me today.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Nowain and he is wonderful! He took the time to answer and address all of my MANY questions and concerns. I did not feel rushed and I felt like he genuinely cared about getting to the bottom of my gut issues.He looked at the whole picture … lifestyle, diet etc. which was refreshing to see!Dr Nowain also worked with me and was aware that I was uninsured the day of my visit. He kept that in mind and even helped me get the prescription that I needed! He was kind, thoughtful and I feel like I am in very good hands with him!In addition, his office was clean and modern and welcoming and I loved the girls at the front desk!If you have had ongoing gut issues like me, I would highly recommend a visit to Dr. Nowain! I am hopeful again!

I am very happy with Dr. Nowain. Its always nice to have a doctor that cares for the well being of his patients. He is very nice and takes the time to listen to you. I recently recommended my son to see him and he was also very happy with the knowledge of the doctor.

Dr. Nowain is an excellent physician. I truly appreciated the time he took to have a comprehensive conversation with me about the reasons for my visit. This conversation was done in his office prior to the exam and it made all the difference. He also performed an upper endoscopy for me and the procedure went very smoothly. I had never had any medical procedures before and was nervous about it and he was very patient, empathetic, and assuring. I felt like I came away from my appointments with Dr. Nowain feeling educated and empowered with regard to my health.

Amazing doctor! Went in for post partum pain and he was so thorough and explained everything. I was very nervous walking in but walked out feeling confident in the healing process Dr Ari recommended. 100% recommend his office and team.

Dr. Nowain is exemplary. A highly efficient doctor and very thorough. His office runs like a well-oiled machine.He takes time to listen and answer questions. He is straight with you and gives you all of the possible options. The office staffs are very nice and efficientI cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nowain. He is thorough. The referral he has given me so far have been elementary to my treatment. Two visits only he was able to find out the root of the problem and a difference.

Dr. Nowain and his office staff are outstanding. The personal care and attention that they give is so comforting and makes what could be an awkward subject feel easy and natural. Dr. Nowain is thorough and made sure to explore all options, even consulting my other Drs. He is also very accessible and answers all of my questions whether in person, through his office staff, or via the online portal. I never wait very long for a response. I feel like Dr. Nowain and the whole team is truly invested in my well being. Can’t recommend enough.

Dr. Nowain has been one of the best physicians I have visited in a long time. He is extremely kind, he is patient (doesnt rush through your appointment with him like other Dr.s) and he continually followed up with me after my procedure. I was so impressed with Dr. Nowain that I recently took my Mother to see him. She had a similar experience as I did. Additionally, he called her every day (even on weekends) until he knew she was better. It is rare to get this type of care from a physician these days and Im very grateful to Dr. Nowain for his efforts.

Great energy and overall great expertise in this office during my experience from beginning, middle and end. Dr. Nowain took all the necessary steps to make sure he evaluated exactly what my issues were. I felt very taken care of and he helped to make sure I stayed on the continued steps to get better. He is very knowledgeable and his referral skills with other specialists and doctors that I needed to see was very helpful. I highly recommend this office for all GI needs. Its very rare to meet a physician quite as professional, kind, patient and knowledgeable as Dr. Nowain.I first visited him two years ago, suffering from increasingly troublesome acid reflux symptoms. He listened with great care and sensitivity, giving me as much time as I needed to get an understanding of what was going on and how best to move forward. He had recommended an endoscopy / colonoscopy combination procedure however it took me until just last month to pluck up the courage to go through with it. In the almost two year interim, Dr. Nowain had always made himself available to answer any questions and concerns I had as my symptoms persisted. When I finally scheduled the procedure, Dr. Nowains wonderful staff walked me through every step of the process, called me every day leading up to the procedure to make sure I was comfortable with the various steps required, explained every single detail of the billing process and went out of their way to make sure the procedure cost me as little as possible out of pocket.On the day of the procedure, Dr. Nowains soothing bedside manner truly helped calm my nerves as I had not been under an anesthetic before. Before I knew it the procedure was over and I was awake in a post op room ready to speaking with a smiling Dr. Nowain about the results, which I was relieved to see were very good. It truly couldnt have been a more easy and pleasant experience and in retrospect, I regret not doing it sooner.I couldnt possibly recommend Dr. Nowain and his lovely staff more. He genuinely is one of the best physicians and human beings you will ever meet.

Dr. Nowain and his staff are unbelievable! After having chronic stomach issues for years, I decided to see Dr. Nowain after moving to LA from NY. He was incredibly thorough in going over my symptoms and he really listened and talked through everything with me. The next step was to get my blood work done to rule things out, which unfortunately I have a severe phobia of that has caused me to avoid blood work for my entire life. Dr. Nowain drew my blood himself and I felt completely calm and it was over quickly. After the blood work came back negative we discussed that anxiety might be the main cause for my stomach issues which is something I always felt as well.A few week later I had a stomach emergency at home which was caused by taking too much Imodium. I called the office and was able to speak to Dr. Nowain through out the day. He even called to check back in on me. I cant explain how grateful I am to him and his team. He is someone who truly cares and I know I am in the best hands possible. I never write review but I felt compelled to share my experience and I could not recommend him enough!

I had the same GI Dr for many years. I felt that I needed a second opinion. My primary Dr referred me to Dr Nowain. I brought as many reports from prior procedures as I had. Dr Nowain quickly reviewed them and picked up on all past issues. After discussing the reports and my history, he recommended a procedure. It is a good thing I had the procedure as I had an issue that most GI Drs probably would not have found at such an early state. Dr Nowain explained everything in a way that made it so I was not scared.Its incredible how much more confident you feel about your health prospects when the doctor seeing you exhibits compassion, careful consideration of your symptoms and walks you through every step of a smart, carefully-crafted strategic path to diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Nowain is one of the most incredible doctors I have seen, for these reasons and more.Kriz at the front desk is always courteous, helpful and amazing. I look forward to her cheerful smile and kind nature when I go to Dr Nowains office.

Dr. Ari Nowain is beyond fantastic. I don’t usually take the time to write a review for a doctor, but it’s important you understand why Dr. Ari is one of the best doctors I’ve met (I should note that I came across Dr. Ari through online research and Yelp reviews).As I write this review, we are still in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and thereforeI had my first consultation meeting with him via Zoom. The fact that he takes his time to understand what’s going on and is truly passionate about helping you as a person, is something that seems like it’s easy to come across with a doctor, when in reality it’s not. Most doctors see you and are onto the next patient - not Dr. Ari.Dr. Ari provided a space where I could openly talk to him about what my symptoms were and he would ask questions that would help dig deeper at what might be going on. By the end of the consultation, Dr. Ari was able to help me understand what’s going on and what were causing these symptoms. Keep in mind this is all over a video chat software on the computer and through his very thorough questions he was able to tell me what might be the diagnosis, all through the computer.My last note is my current insurance is out of network with Dr. Ari, but I’m sticking with Dr. Ari because I truly love his approach to the way he treats his patients. When it comes to your health, I don’t think you should go with the option that saves you money, but rather that may save your life and future health if you go with the right doctor, not the doctor that fits your insurance plan.Each patient wants to feel an understanding of what might be going on and feel that they are not just another patient, but a patient the Dr truly cares about and that’s Dr. Ari Nowain.

As a General surgeon in Beverly Hills, I know all the GI doctors in town. Dr. Nowain is the best. He just did my EGD and Colonoscopy. Incredible technically, and couldn’t have asked for a more conscientious doctor. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
