This was my first time hiring movers for a move. I was nervous about doing this but confident in the reviews Ive read about Celis Movers & Storage. I was glad to see they were local and family owned. I was also glad I could hire movers and have my items stored all with one business. My moving day was seamless. The team was kind, friendly, and efficient. I noticed Celis Moving and Storage trucks always driving around town in Petaluma and I saw them in our neighborhood quite a bit. So when the time came to move I gave them a call! Rolando and Anna and Eric were a tremendous help over the phone, answering questions and coordinating all of the details! Rolando and his team of packers and movers made our recent move easy. From quotation, to packing to the unload, his whole team was efficient, professional and careful. They worked with us and really made a stressful couple of days so much easier. The move distance was short (within Santa Rosa), but we had some logistics to go along with it, and it was no problem accommodating us. I would definitely recommend them for any local moves here in Sonoma County.

I do not enjoy moving at all. However, my most recent move was by far the least stressful yet. A special thanks and shoutout to Rolando, Anna Maria, and Eric, they were all so kind, caring, and professional. It was a big relief having such great customer service all through out the process. Currently Im in the process of transfering my storage from another moving company (bad business practices) to Celis Moving and Storage (such a better company and waaaay better storage prices). We shopped around for a mover from San Rafael, Ca. To Phoenix, AZ area. We chose Celis Movers. What a great decision that was! We had them do all the packing of everything. Just finished a move from Petaluma to Sacramento. We have moved three times in the last six years and Celis Movers & Storage was by FAR the best movers. Celis had a very fast response to our initial inquiry and provided an accurate estimate of costs. Celis was responsive and the moving crew was excellent on both ends of the move. The Celis team was professional, efficient and everything was handled with care. On the delivery end, floors were covered and boxes efficiently and safely placed where needed. My wife and I are 65 years old and did a local move of a 3600 SF home in Petaluma. We were very impressed with the combination of move planning and local supplemental storage options. The day of moving went without a hitch. We were very impressed with the team of skilled movers Rolando assigned to our effort. We had some sculpture art and a few big items like a pizza oven and large dog house that they were handled very well. Team Celis are true professionals!

These guys are fantastic! Everything went smoothly from the first phone call until the guys pulled away from my new office. Ana, the woman who booked my move, was super friendly and thorough and emailed me with schedule options and other details. She was timely in delivering a quote, and super friendly! The owner followed up as well. Three guys showed up to move and they were not only friendly but also very careful with my stuff and it made me feel super relaxed and confident about the whole move. They went above and beyond, and even did a small repair job for me before loading my motorized desk Into the truck. Celis Moving and storage is a phenomenal company! They offer these plastic bins in place of cardboard boxes. This was amazing because not only do they help reduce the cost of moving supplies but they also help reduce the carbon footprint print of your move. They drop the bins off two weeks before your move so you have plenty of time to pack. Everything is packed and labeled and ready to move on moving day. And pick them up two weeks after you move into your new place. It makes the whole process very smooth and efficient.They also have storage units with a ton of options on sizes and pretty reasonable prices! Celis Moving and Storage is the only company my friends and family will continue to use from here on out. Rolando, the owner of Celis Movers, fit me in this week as I needed my house emptied of furniture. He delivered one of his immaculate pods, and scheduled 2 of his men for packing and moving the very next day. I had to write this review right away because everything went so smoothly here this morning, I can hardly believe it!! Sacramento and Pedro were fantastic!! So friendly, respectful, awesome employees who REALLY know how to protect furniture and safely pack a pod! They do it with such ease, and safely for their bodies…I can tell Rolando really cares about his employees by providing safe ergonomic tools. I am beyond impressed!! I will definitely call Celis back to unwrap and bring everything back in.To anyone considering Celis Movers, the cost may seem pricey, but there’s nobody better to do your packing and moving!! We contacted Celis to help with our move from Petaluma to Cotati and we were very pleased with the hard work and dedication we witnessed with the men doing the work. Roberto, Emmy, and Pedro were professional and friendly, handling our items with care. The back of house, Anna Maria, Eric, and Rolando are very helpful. Some more cool features about this company Is that they offer a free months of storage, and they have these reusable plastic bins, so you don’t have to create waste and spend extra money on cardboard. Anna Maria and Eric helped me with my two most recent moves from Penngrove to Rohnert Park. And then from Rohnert Park to Nashville, Tennessee. They were extremely pleasant people that listened very well, they were able to answer all of my questions and even make some better suggestions to the ideas that I already had. All in all it was so nice to have them help me with my cross country move, they were able to relieve almost all of the stress that comes with moving.Nothing was broken.Nothing was damaged.Nothing was missing.I paid extra so that all the glass or super fragile items would be double or triple wrapped because of the cross country move.I hope I never have to move again. We were very impressed with the Celis team! Rolando provided a comprehensive and thoughtful quote and even hooked me up with a few used boxes and also let us borrow wardrobe boxes. We did not use packing services. We were moving out of a 3.5 bedroom/2 bath house and into a slightly smaller home about 35 miles away. The team arrived a bit early and worked very efficiently and carefully. They took good care of our belongings in both the moving out and moving in process. The team lead, Sacramento, was highly communicative and kept us up to date on how things were going and next steps. The move out took about 3 hours and the move in took about 2.5 hours -- very impressive! In the move-in process, they had to navigate a narrow and busy street with two trucks, and they did a great job. Moving is so stressful, and were grateful for the Celis teams hard and professional work!

On our most recent move (11/24/20), we didnt have an exact date to get our keys, but they were extremely flexible on timing and moved us on the same day we got our house keys. I have used them twice for full moves and twice for furniture moving on the same property and they have been great. All the staff are professional, friendly and courteous. On the latest job, they did make a small hole in the ceiling however, while moving a large sofa through a narrow hallway. I only saw it after they left. It was not a big problem as these things can happen, and my husband can fix it quickly, but I did let Rolando know as a feedback so his guys can be a little more careful in the future. He immediately responded with an apology, which I appreciated. I would use them for my next move for sure.

We had hired and paid a deposit with another moving company for a scheduled move out of our home. On the move-out day, with our entire life packed into boxes, no one showed up or even answered calls or emails. Completely bailed on us leaving us to scramble for a backup plan. In a panic, I reached out to Celis mid-day to see what availability they had thinking it would be days out. The staff I spoke with were extremely helpful and put me in contact with Rolando who was just getting off of a flight for the holiday weekend. He was able to coordinate a crew of three last minute to help us move that very same day. I was astonished and will be forever grateful to Celis for being willing to help us during a very stressful day. Couldn’t be happier with how we were treated and for the responsiveness and kindness of everyone I interacted with. Their crew went above and beyond, having already put in an 8 hour day for another client during 100 degree weather. They were willing to help us out and work into the evening. Very few companies have earned my respect and admiration but Celis certainly deserves praise. Customer for life.

We used Celis Movers to move across town. They were reasonable priced. They were willing to reschedule my moving date due to rain but I was unable to find another day in my schedule for 2 weeks. They were happy to move our things despite the rain and were very careful to cover our things that could not be exposed to water. I found them to be hard working, honest, and efficient. I was a bit doubtful that they would be able to move 2 truckloads in 1 day, but they did it in the rain without complaint! We would highly recommend them and would use them again.

I was very nervous based on the horror stories you read about moving companies that sub-contract their work and all the hidden fees and headaches that can entail. Rolando at Celis provided us with a very attractive quote — 50% less than another local company that subcontracts — and when I was worried we had more boxes than initially predicted, we discussed it with Rolando and there was a minimal cost increase. The movers did a great job loading and unloading our possessions and Rolando even drove the truck for our move. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Had a great experience moving with Celis, from Sonoma Co to Reno, NV area. The final cost of our move was within 3% of our original estimate. All our furniture arrived unbroken, not a single wine glass or plate was cracked or chipped.Called for an estimate, the owner, Rolando, came over, did a thorough walkthrough, answered a ton of questions, explained the various services his team offers (including packing services that I now wish we had taken advantage of, I am too old for this haha). We packed ourselves to save a couple bucks but the prices were overall pretty compelling. I know that some movers dont give really accurate estimates, and Ive heard of some predatory practices with some of the big national moving companies, jacking up the price the day of the move... Celis gave an accurate estimate, and I knew exactly what caused the small variance in cost, no big deal at all.Out of state move was a two day affair - Celis showed up exactly on time on a Monday, loaded all of 1290 sq ft apartment into their nearly brand new moving truck (wood floors in the truck, no joke), this took them approx 3.5 hours. Crew worked very fast, our apartment was absolutely stuffed to the gills. The next day, they delivered it to the address in Nevada. A few days before the end of March, Rolando called me to warn me that Public Storage would charge me for the whole month even if I moved out on the third, so he offered to move my stuff out of storage early and store it himself for a good price, saving me $100.One reason we chose to go with Cells is that they could guarantee a date for delivering our stuff. The major moving companies cant do this and they take longer to deliver. This saved me several hundred dollars in nights at a hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend Cells.

This was our fourth time using Celis Movers this year. We had to move a number of times this year and Celis and his team were always there for us and took great care of us and our things, not one single thing has been damaged in the four moves we have done with them. Rolando always gets right back to you as soon as you call him and you are never left hanging wondering what is happening. Great customer service and personal touch is so rare these days, and Celis excels at customer service. We also have a rental property and our tenant moved in and out of our place with them and our new tenant is using them as well. Someone referred them to us and everyone we have referred to them has been thrilled with their service. This last move we moved during the covid pandemic and we had a full contactless move with them, it was so awesome and a great experience and it totally put our minds at ease and we felt totally safe moving in the way that we did. I was nervous about it at first, but they made it so easy. Our mover today, Sacramento was awesome and him and his guys all wore masks and followed our directions perfectly during our move and were great about social distancing with us, it was smooth as could be! Their prices are also very reasonable. Before we found them, we spent nearly double on a move and were less satisfied with the results. Rolando and his guys were very professional and friendly. They did an outstanding job wrapping all of our furniture so that nothing would get damaged. They arrived at 7 am and worked quickly to get everything loaded. He also took our plants which were in large containers and they did fine. They got all the boxes packed in the truck as well. They disconnected the washer and dryer and got it reconnected and working fine. They unloaded everything and put things wherever we wanted them. They did it all in about six hours. We would highly recommend them.

We were moving from Santa Rosa to the Sacramento area. We asked for quotes from several moving companies and did extensive reviews of the posted feedback for each of them on Yelp and other sites. We looked for companies that had absolutely zero negative reviews and Celis met that requirement.After getting all of those quotes we chose Celis Movers because everyone we read and who spoke about them had nothing but positive feedback about them. They were also a very reasonable price.Since we had already packed many of our own boxes they structured their quote with separate packing and moving quotes for us. We hired their packers to help us finish up our packing of boxes on a Friday. For their hourly packing fee they also included all of the boxes and packing materials they used.On Saturday afternoon their mover team arrived and packed everything up into their trucks. But we were impressed by how they first literally spent several hours wrapping everything in blankets and making sure everything was fully protected so that it would not be damaged before they started loading it. I kind of expected as soon as they arrived they would probably immediately start putting things into their trucks, but instead they packaged and wrapped everything for hours before starting to load their trucks, which was a good way to make sure our furniture and other items were well protected. Several items like our Captains bed and a large computer desk had to be disassembled and they handled that right.On Sunday they arrived early at our new house to deliver everything. They are very efficient and put everything where we wanted it. They put back together the beds and desks that needed to be reassembled. For our large Captains bed it was hard to get it positioned and assembled right in the room, but their whole team came together and they took the extra time and effort to make sure it was right for us.This was great moving experience for us. No major problems at all. I would recommend Celis to anyone. Very friendly, hard working movers at a reasonable price. We would use them again and will recommend them to friends.

They moved at a quick pace all day, kept the van locked when unattended and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Nothing damaged. My only criticism is cost - it was expensive, which was fine in itself, but what began as one number ended up higher due to an additional person and extra hours. I understand that the quote is an estimate and expected the final figure to be higher anyway, but I would prefer a more realistic estimation up front.

The wife of the owner Rolando came to do an inventory - she noted everything to be taken. When the movers came, they said they would not take certain items. I had to call Rolando several times until he spoke to the moving guys to take the items his wife had already agreed to before. VERY STRESSFUL.2. The movers came with a small truck, admitting the larger truck was elsewhere. Hence, a lot of furniture that was supposed to be inside the truck was left outside on the liftgate, secured with ropes. Hoping everything made it to the destination was VERY STRESSFUL.3. The wife of the owner said my wife and I could just call and arrange a time to retrieve items from the Celis storage unit. However, the one time in a year we requested to retrieve a few boxes, Rolando told us it would cost $65 for someone to be there to open the unit. CELIS LIES. VERY STRESSFUL.4. When moving our items out of their storage unit, Rolando said it would cost $165 on moving day for someone to open the unit, otherwise they would not release our items. None of these fees were included in the contract. MORE LIES FROM CELIS.5. The week before moving, the owner Rolando sent an email stating I had only paid 50% of the moving amount. That was entirely false - 100% of the delivery amount and 100% of the first months storage fee was paid on pickup of items. MORE STRESS.
