Overall, the finest, professional, courteous, and most genuine group of salesman in San Diego. I dont know everyone, but Mr Ceasar, Zach, and Tiab, were extremely helpful. Thank you for your fellowship. I sincerely purchased my RETIREMENT vehicle. To believe that this vehicle was still available for US to purchase is hard to believe. Only God can tell. Prayers been heard.

Bought my 2014 Mercedes CLS550 from CBM - absolutely amazing!I’d been searching for this car in state for over 9 months, and by random chance I saw this one come up and immediately had to see it.Checked it out and put the deposit, and everyone at CBM helped through the process and helped answer any questions. I bought my Honda CRV from this establishment ~1 year ago. No issues with it, it runs excellently. When I bought it, they offered me 2 new tires due to the tread bring low, and I meant to pick them up another day but forgot. Shortly after, I went on deployment. When I came back several months later I called them up about the tires, they remembered and they hooked me up. 10/10 do recommend, theyre military friendly and will have your back.

The vehicle I purchased was a 2005 Mercedes SL600 with 57k miles. Giancarlo was my salesperson and he did an excellent job providing all the information with pictures and videos that I asked for. Because I was an out of state buyer, everything was done over email and texts. Once I was satisfied with the condition of the vehicle, I made the purchase and had it delivered to AZ, where I would pick it up and drive it back to Alabama. The buying process was fairly straightforward, but antiquated. We mailed documents back and forth instead of using a service like Docusign. The vehicle performed great on the 1,000+ mile drive and I was very pleased. There were a couple of things that I was not happy with. I found out that the Keyless Go system was not working even though I was told that everything was working on the vehicle. I had paid for a third party inspection and they did not report this issue either.The other issue was the vehicles cleanliness. I had asked that it receive a good detail before it got on the truck and was assured that would happen…it didn’t. I have attached a picture of what was found under the drivers seat, leading me to believe the vehicle was not even vacuumed. Yes, that is a used BandAid.Other than those two things I am happy with the vehicle and look forward to putting many miles on it!

Just bought this brand new 2020 fully loaded mustang ecoboost performance package it’s amazing I love the car and since it’ll be paying itself it’s just a nice weekend car . Couldn’t have done it without Phil the salesman . When you go in he’s your man go straight to him ignore the rest . He helped me get a car loan and approved after a horrible accident I had a 480 credit score and they still did everything they could the quickest they could because of my bad back and they did wonderfully . This is a long overdue review.Specifically this review is for my salesperson, Mike. My husband was looking for a new vehicle late last year, and we spent a considerable amount of time shopping and researching online before going anywhere. (I used to sell for Ford for years, and know that I am often a salespersons worst nightmare.)We went to dealership after dealership, and I was stunned to see just a complete lack of honesty and integrity wherever we went. Car sales is not just about fast deals, its also relationship building. Car buying often isnt one and done. Sometimes its finding the right vehicle, working the numbers, continuing to follow up and follow through. But, wow, did we have a run of bad luck/ bad salespeople. It seemed every single salesperson we dealt with was young, inexperienced, and had a complete and utter lack of relationship skills or knowledge. It was completely disheartening.This place was the last stop for us after a very long line of garbage sales experiences. I was frustrated and disillusioned, and Im already impossible to deal with on my best days. But Mike immediately put us at ease. What a breath of fresh air. Someone with real experience who knew what he was doing, and knew what he was talking about. We negotiated, got to an agreeable place, and finalized the deal.Mike, if youre reading this, Im sorry for the delay in this well-deserved review. But youre worth your weight in gold to CBM, because theres not another soul there that could have sold me that day. Experience matters.Id refer my own sons to Mike, hes welcome to dinner at our house any time. 10/10Also, we had absolutely no issues with registration, license transfer, paperwork, etc.

I want to start this by saying that I purchased my RAV4 from CBM motors at the end of January. I didn’t want to write a review right away just because I wanted to have driven the car for a few months first, before a give my honest review. Let me tell you guys that CBM is the real deal. I was a bit skeptical about going to them vs a Toyota dealer. But everybody at CBM are real professionals. Phil and Aziz. I just want to thank you for everything you guys did. From respecting my decision on using my bank, to taking me to the bank and waiting for me, to working with my budget and truly getting the best deal out there. I bought a 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera from CBM Motors In El Cajon, Ca. This car was a nice low mileage car and in great condition. I arranged for an inspection and it rated as a level-2 car with “1” being the best. Even though the tires had significant tread on them, they were date coded in 2011 and therefore the rubber was aged 8 yrs. and the rough ride was terrible. They should have disclosed that, but I was buying a used, 15-year-old car and therefore it’s not expected to be perfect. I bought this car sight unseen and had it shipped to Miami which was a 2500-mile journey. My salesman Osama was excellent and kept me informed throughout the process. He gave me the deal I expected, and I was pleased that I got the car for less than market value. Julieta in the office was also very helpful & friendly. The only negative experience was from the finance guy, “Mike Kodaimati”. When I applied for my Florida tag, the local agency reported there was missing info on the title transfer. They accepted it but stated the dealer failed to indicate a required odometer reading. When I reported it to CBM Motors, instead of apologizing to me for the inconvenience, Mike was quick to point fingers and claim the tag agency was wrong & they made the mistake. In the competitive used car market of today, you don’t do that type of behavior. You work with the customer to resolve it and understand there are 49 other states with tag agencies that differ from California. I was also disappointed that Caesar the owner, did not chine-in and apologize for the paperwork problem but they are a new dealer learning about delivering good customer service. In closing, I would buy from them again & had it not been for the aforementioned issue they would have received 5 stars instead of 4 stars.

The car I have is not what I signed up for and not worth the experience.Do your research and dont rush a purchase. I wanted to put some money down and some towards the car, but instead, they put $5,000 down, and I was left with the full price of the car. They took advantage of me.I wanted to pay towards the principal, but instead, I was stuck paying for the car that I ended up finding out had glass in the trunk, a broken front grill, no navigation (even though it was advertised with it), Bluetooth not working, and rear seat belts not functioning (my daughter was the main reason I got the car, and now I cant even buckle her in safely).One major issue I have is being told they would tint the windows if I purchased the car. So, they took me to a place across the street, and when the bill was over $300, I was left with the bill. Heartbroken.Every time I came in and asked for help, they never failed to question me, Why did you take so long to tell us?Excuse me, Ive been asking for help since week 1.When I told them in the first week, and every other attempt, it was something else or this and that.Im still sad. As a first-time car purchaser, Im scared to ever come to a used car lot.Im grateful for the learning experience, but because it was so bad, I dont recommend this car lot to anyone. Im still surprised other people leave positive reviews.

I had been dreading shopping for a car for years. I put it off until I couldn’t any more. Once I narrowed the type of car I wanted I started the painful process of reaching out to various Southern California dealers.To say the process became cringeworthy is an understatement…until I reached out to CBM.I inquired about the car I was interested in via their messaging system (mostly because I was burnt out by the swindling and pressure from other dealers). Phil was immediately responsive and very thorough (and so patient with my schedule where other dealers had been pushy).Within days I was sitting in the dealer with my guard up and fatigued from my search. Mike made the experience easygoing and Julieta rocked the finance side of things. Julieta really made financing feel like a pain free straightforward process. I’ve bought several cars at Mossy and other San Diego dealers and CBM was by FAR the BEST.If you’ve been putting off purchasing a car or trading a car in- don’t hesitate any longer. I had bought a 2013 Audi Q5 from them September of 2021 not even owning the car for 90 days it broke down on me, that was only the start. I wouldnt have even bought the car if they didnt con me in offering me a job. Not to mention they where supposed to fix the busted light on the back of the car which never got done. When they offered me the job I went and paid for my salesman license and fingerprints done. I posted cars online for them, then never heard from them again. I do not recommend this dealership at all. Im stuck with a car that has constant problems, that I cant even afford to fix.

Worst dealership in san diego hands down, lied to me about the brakes being brand new, then tried blaming it on my a week later 🤣🤣. Car broke down after a week i also took my “2016 mustang gt” i got from them to ford to get checked on there is 4 things missing on my suspension. And they also said the car had 74k miles when i got it and it had 79k and after 3 months of owning it they lied about my brakes being new so that caused my axle’s to get ruined.

Knowing what I was already looking for, I went to CBM Motors to look at a Honda Pilot. Beside the one I went to look at was another slightly newer and better model. I passed it with the associate Tony with me, and I said “Omg I wish” knowing I couldn’t do it. We test drove the 1st Honda Pilot. It was great, Tony was very friendly, personable and informative with all my questions. When we got back I met the owner of the dealership. He was was very kind, and also very informative about laws and what not. He saw my desire for the more expensive vehicle like mine and I expressed how I really couldn’t make it happen. To my surprise, is wasn’t about I’d so could make it happen and was how HE could make it happen! He worked out the numbers, details and even included an amazing warranty and HE made it happen for me! Julieta drew up all the paperwork, explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions in a very friendly and personable manner. This was by far my easiest and most comfortable car buying experience ever! I loved the service at CBM. Other dealerships weren’t willing to work with me and my husband, who is stationed overseas, because the distance makes purchasing a little more complicated. At CBM, I walked in wanting a car and drove out in a Subaru Forester a few hours later. The owner is also a veteran (and a very nice person, everyone here is quite personable), so they understood exactly what we needed. A bunch of scammers. Knowing I was 18 and naive, they posted a car that was 20 grand (not worth more than 10 grand) and I ended up paying $27,000 for it. Ridiculous. Do not go here. I have had many problems with it as well. If you are new to buying a car, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.

This was the best car buying experience in my 40 years of purchasing cars!I stumbled upon their website when looking for a specific vehicle and went in on a whim to look at it with no intention of purchasing, but the car was priced well, and the people were so honest, I walked away with a new car!Their cars are priced fairly and clean. The owner and employees are friendly and down to earth. I never felt overly pressured, but I could feel their honesty. Jean and Julieta were just great with the whole process! Jean, the owners son was the one that helped me get started with the whole process. We took the vehicle for a test drive and it was a wrap. He told me that his dad is a retired Blackhawk pilot and coincidentally I happened to work as a Blackhawk mechanic. (So thank you for your service Warrant!) But my initial intentions was just to test drive the vehicle I was interested in and then the next thing I knew, we were talking about numbers and so and so, then at the last minute Im bringing up a trade in option for my vehicle. (And by the way, they gave me the exact amount that I asked for!) Then after some back and forth with Julieta, we ran the numbers and finally agreed to something reasonable. I did spend about 5 hours there only because they were calling around to get me the best financing I was eligible for. Purchased 2017 F-150 at a fair price.Staff was professional and friendly. Specifically the woman that did all the paperwork at the end. What set this dealer apart was that after two weeks I had a simple check engine light code about a loose vacuum hose. I mentioned it to Mr. Zeitouni, the Office Manager and he insisted that CBM take care of it for free. Normally this would be on the buyer. The car buying experience was great working with the staff. Typically how it goes when dealership making the sale.I drove my purchased vehicle here and there for 2 weeks approx 300 miles. Upon returning home the coolant from the vehicle was under the vehicle.No big deal I thought as I purchased extended warranty through CBM. Well I call the warranty company and no paperwork was ever sent. I email CBM and told I have to wait 30 days to use my warranty. Ok cool. I wait 30 days calling warranty company, in which case there is no paperwork sent from dealership.At first I got some response but now I’m falling off the map with this dealership.I wouldn’t purchase another vehicle from this dealership, let alone an extended warranty from here. While having a vehicle for a month not really being ableto drive really sucks. The lack of response from dealership has been frustrating. I will be paying out ofpocket just get my vehicle back without the warranty.Buyer beware don’t let yourself fall into my situation.Update 3/8/2022Since my original review CBM Motors has since taken care of everything with my vehicle. It was my first time to visit this dealership, I was looking for Mercedes E Class and at that time I was having 3 choices in my mind. As soon as I arrived to that dealership the manager himself greeted me with a big smile and asked me if he can help, and I saw two other professional employees approached my spot and showed me dream choice. My husband and I purchased a vehicle from this place October 2020 and I’ve been waiting to write this review. Everything was great at first. We walked in with a pre-approved check for the full amount of the vehicle and amount of a trade-in that was financed through the same bank (Navy Fed). A manager named Osama swears up and down that he’s dealt with navy fed and knows what he’s doing. Ok cool. There were a couple things that CBM agreed to fix. A missing cap on a wheel and a broken back window defroster. Cool. Papers signed, happy customers. 1st complaint- it took FOREVER for our bank to receive the check back from CBM. And when they receive it, it’s wrong. Then it took forever to get the corrected check sent back to our bank. We had to refinance because of that, which lowered our credit scores. Thanks for that Osama. 2nd complaint- every time I’d call to schedule a time to bring the vehicle in to have them fix what they needed to fix “the guy isn’t here”. This lasted months. 3rd complaint- I’d really like an explanation as to why I just had to pay almost $350 to have fluids changed that should’ve been done BEFORE we bought it. Like the fluids were way past due. Like should’ve been changed at 50k miles past due and the vehicle was at 83k when we bought it. I brought it in for a standard oil change only to find out that your dealership didn’t check anything on the vehicle before you sold it to us. Or you did and just didn’t care. You’re a lemon lot with glitter sprinkled on top. Absolutely ridiculous customer service.
