Was recommended to Dr. Peyman. Office was a bit busy crowded. Was sent back to a room where I waited, not very clean and quite warm, made me a bit hesitant. Then one of the girls came in to set up for procedure and had a messy damp tray and then dropped everything on the floor. Made me more hesitant. Didnt seem like she was going to replace it all, over course I asked her to.... Dr. Peymen came in and put me at ease. He did a fabulous job, was very impressed with his doctor skills. 2 weeks later, my face is healing beautifully. Guess you cant have everything. More important the doctor was great.

I visited with PA Taehee Strauss for my hair issues and cosmetic treatments and I could not thank her enough. She was so thorough and attentive about my concerns and presented me with different newer treatment options. I thoroughly enjoyed my consultation and looking forward to my next skin rejuvenation visits. The staff were nice and efficient and put me on the schedule right away. If anyone is looking for a great dermatology provider who is well-rounded in both cosmetic and medical hair/skin issues, go see her!

I had my first appointment with PA Taehee Strauss for a cosmetic treatment. My jowls needed lifting because they were sagging quite a bit, making me look like I was always frowning. PA Taehee Strauss immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease before, during and after the procedure. She was very professional and knowledgable and offered great recommendations and solutions which gave me the best results. During the cosmetic treatment she would explain what was being done and why, which made the whole experience calm and relaxing since I was aware of everything that was happening. She followed up for five days after the treatment to monitor and make sure everything was going well with the healing process and that there were no complications. I was confident that I was being well cared for. I am so pleased with the results that I definitely plan to go back for a touch up and have treatments performed for other issues as well. She’s the best!!!

I received IPL and Microneedling treatment from Taehee Strauss and she was amazing! It was my first time, so I wasnt too sure what to expect but Taehee was very informative, professional, friendly, answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. I saw Taehee Strauss for my aesthetic treatments and she exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be going back for future treatments! I started seeing somehollowing on my face, sagging jowls, and some wrinkles. I knew I needed something done but was hesitant to trust anyone just yet. She was so patient, listened to my concerns, explained thoroughly, and came up with a plan customized for me. She treated me with Sculptra and some filler.. to my surprise, it is looking so natural. She also worked some filler magic into my flat forehead. I’ve been receiving random compliments on my beautiful appearance. If you are considering natural aesthetic treatments done safely, she is the ONE for you!!!P

I agree with the comments about the staff. The doctor was great, my wait wasnt very long at all, and parking was very easy considering its on Ventura. However, every office assistant I encountered seemed like they were in a bad mood and had an attitude. Not friendly at all.

I came in with rosacea that’s has gotten worse over time. The PA explained everything to me, answered my questions and made sure to immediately prescribe the appropriate medication which has helped so much in only a week! Thank you!

Staff not very congenial at all (FIRST RED FLAG). While completing required history forms I noticed that although they ask for the medications that you’re on, they don’t ask for any pharmacy information (so how will I get a prescription if needed) (SECOND RED FLAG). No vitals were taken and this was my initial visit (meaning they don’t even have a baseline for future reference), the PA was receptive but I still felt rushed and was told immediately that insurance does not cover any hair loss medications but “fortunately” it can be purchased directly from the office (THIRD RED FLAG). Sorry Castle Dermatology Institute, in my book “with three strikes you’re out”. Just a suggestion, teach your staff how to interact with patients.

I didn’t even get to go to Castle Dermatology and see a doctor and I think it was probably for the best (even though I was looking forward to it because of the great reviews).Anyway, I had requested an appointment via their website last week, but never got confirmation (via email or text) that said my request was received and they would contact me to schedule the appointment. Today, I got a call at 5:19 PM and the person on the phone said that I had missed my appointment at 2:45 PM today and that rescheduling would cost me $35 because I was a no-show. Excuse me? A no-show fee for an appointment I didn’t even know was confirmed? The person then told me that they had sent a text at 1:51 PM today to confirm the appointment (for 2:45 PM, mind you). I somehow missed that text, but it did come in. However, it said “Hi Tina. We would be happy to schedule you for your requested time. If you are going through insurance, please bring a copy of your insurance card with you.”So, as you can see, no mention of a day and time or who they are! Even if I had seen this text right away and if I had remembered who it *may* have come from and what day/time I had requested for the appointment, how can they just schedule me for an appointment that is only 54min later and not wait for my confirmation in return? People may make other plans in the meantime or have to drive to the doctor’s office and may not be able to make it on time with such short notice.Eventually, the person on the phone told me that she canceled my appointment, which I assume means that I don’t have to pay an unreasonable no-show fee. Well, thanks for that.I will not attempt to request an appointment with Castle Dermatology again because of that experience.

Amazing Staff and Amazing service. I have always been thinking about getting lip filler and finally went through it. I am so glad I did!!!! I am so happy that I picked this institute for getting my lips done. The ladies at the front desk were so welcoming and eased my nervousness. Medical care - 5 starsSurgery scaring-1 starI had a basil cell carcinoma removed from my face last spring. I felt that the doctor (I had Pedram) was very skilled in diagnosing it and making the plan to address is (Mohs surgery). I also have some medical anxiety and he was very patient and kind and explained everything he was doing, how much longer it would take it. I honestly really enjoyed him and that part of the care.I ended up with 12 stitches in my cheek and I followed the scar care to a T (it’s my face after all!). I waited a year to write this review because I was hoping all the vitamin E and silicon would eventually make the scar better. It didn’t. It’s a really ugh scar and it’s right on my face. We ended up moving and my dermatologist didn’t want to throw anyone under the bus but did say “that’s not one of the best ones I’ve seen”.If you need medical care, I 100% recommend this practice. I’d you need Mohs surgery on your face, go see a plastic surgeon!

Dr Peyman is an amazing doctor. Knowledgeable, sensitive and considerate of his patients time and condition(s). I think he combines the technical know-how with a great eye towards aesthetics. I live pretty far but the trip is always worth it! His staff is great too. I called and wanted to get in a few days before a trip (waiting till the last minute as usual)-they were booked but squeezed me in and I didnt even have to wait long. They are amazing.

I’m rating low because of the staff! They are soooo slow and I was shocked with as many employees that were working at one time. I signed in sat for 15 minutes past my appointment. I then went back up and they said I needed to sign in which I had. After that I had to ask for my paperwork to fill out . They had one person in front of me when checking out and again it took forever. She’s was only making 2 appointments and sooo slow. Another girl finally came to help me and said I owed money. Haha I have been going to doctors with the same insurance for 40 years and never have I had to pay up front! They always bill me. Not this place be prepared to pay. I have no co pays just a deductible and they possibly can’t know that until they bill my insurance but charged me anyway.Dr. Payman was wonderful and took his time to answer my questions. He was ready to take care of me on my very first appointment. He’s a good doctor and came highly recommended, but he needs to do something with his staff. I’m not in the medical field but I could have made 12 appointments and multi tasked at the same time. Again Dr. Paymen is a gem!

I had a mole removed from my head that had been there rent free for many years. I called in and they provided me a price, that was cheaper than anywhere else ($250) which included the consultation. I jumped on it and went for it. A few weeks later, and my head has no evidence of anything ever being there. It was straight foward was in and out within minutes. The doctor was very nice and answered all my questions. As for the staff, front desk were straight foward nothing bad, the assistant the goes into the room I would say she was a bit dry not very friendly, other than that I highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back.

I called today to see what my copayment was for my visit. They still had not called to check my benefits and I was rudely asked to call myself. Very unprofessional personnel. She kept arguing that a certain procedure was not covered and I was referred back to the girl who assured it was covered. When I spoke to her she did say it was covered. Obviously no one is on the same page. I decided not to come in after all. I just canceled my appointment. Even tough I had been there a couple of years ago I decided to go elsewhere. The personnel has definitely changed. This person was very RUDE!

Honestly, Great person and very understanding. I had a cyst on my head he took it out in his office and i didnt feel any pain what so ever. Dr. Pedram very friendly and kind. i went to another doctor, he stated that i should schedule a time with the hospital so he could put me to sleep and do a surgery for more money from my insurance company. What Im trying to say is compare to other people, Dr. Pedram is very honest. Im very satisfied with his work.

I read the 5 starts review and switched to Dr. Pedram. I trusted the online reviews but I shouldve read the bad reviews instead of good ones! I visited him for my hair loss which he only advised to keep continue taking the pills my previous Dr. gave me. I also showed him the warts I have on my fingers and he said he can freeze them without letting me know that there will be an additional charge for this procedure on top of the $200 office visit. This is very unprofessional..When I called the office to find out why they charged me an additional $140 they asking me to contact my insurance!!!!!! They are scams!Furthermore, if it happened to you, it happened to others and will continue to happen.I make sure I write on Yelp Google and Healthgrades to give warning to all the existing and new patients to Castle Dermatology.

I love going here for all my dermatology needs. I started going here because they offer Saturday appointments. The receptionist is always friendly and helpful. Even though the waiting room is very inviting I never have much time to enjoy it. It never seems to take more than 5 minutes to get in for my appointment. Dr. Pedram Ghasri is professional and engaging. The appointments are quick and efficient and really tries to help. Doesnt try to sell you on anything you dont need.

Overcharged my $190. I took my son bere because of the positive reviews. The doctor put some cream on him and we were charged $240 with insurance. When I asked how it was possible to be so much, I was told this is the contracted insurance rate for “procedures.” Two months later, I checked my statement of benefits and saw I should have only been charged a $50 co-pay. I called the office, no call back. Called again and was told they charge upfront and then refund. Well this was two months ago, insurance paid two months ago, and there was no refund or even an email to say I was overcharged. It is illegal to charge patients more than the contracted insured rate. Had I not checked, I would never know. Beware.

I was asked for a co-pay when I checked in which is normal & expected.I should have known better as I should have read the reviews.Dr. Came in to my room 30 min late, without apologizing. He barely communicated. He was so hurried, rushed through my exam & I felt very uncomfortable. This exam was a skin check…to see if I have any skin cancer after previously having pre-cancer cells & having a family history of skin cancer.Dr. raced through exam, spent 5 min looking. I’ve never felt so rushed in an exam.When I was going to leave, I was asked to give more money immediately after I had given my co-pay. It did not make sense the amount I was asked for & I luckily decided to say “no” and that I would talk to insurance. On way home after calling my insurance company, I was told I absolutely should not pay any more money until they see what was actually doing.I will never go back there.Very frustrating experience!Please do you research!

I am a needle-phobic and the thought of mole removal was terrifying ~ I was referred to Peyman Gahsri by my best friend - and she didnt oversell it - He;s GREAT, took his time, answered questions and made me feel as comfortable as I ever will @ a doctors office. His office staff is pleasant and efficient, his PA was aces in giving me the numbing shots and his demeanor throughout the visit was lovely! I cannot recommend him or Castle highly enough! Easy parking too (bonus these days). Dont wait to get yourself checked out - its important.

Doctor Peyman is not only a total professional he is also incredibly friendly, kind, and thoughtful. I work outdoors so I go twice a year. They impressed me in a big way today.I had a very unexpected event occur that prompted me to have an immediate procedure done (removing an object from my arm). I called their office THIS MORNING and spoke with Leslie, the nurse, (whos a total sweetheart!) and she squeezed me into Dr. Peyman Ghasris schedule after I explained my situation.Between the two of them, it was a fantastic experience. Dr. Ghasri was not only very professional but had excellent bedside manners. Dr. Pedram Ghasri was professional, kind and overall calming. I had to have a little tag removed on my thigh and I was so embarrassed about it. First of all the Drs office is clean and very modern. I want to say that the girls at the front desk are very sweet and caring Roxy and Liz welcome you like they know you. I was extremely scared to remove a growth on my right fore arm but Dr Pedram made me very comfortable as well as his assistant JUDY very sweet and informative. By far I am impressed I will go back and refer my friends and family to this place. My apologies for not spelling your name right Judy. This is my second experience with going to Castle. I took my son and they fixed him up. I took my mom today and she was very pleased with the kindness of Dr.Peyman and is going back in two weeks for a procedure to remove her cyst. I would recommend this practice as I have before. I have been searching and searching for a dermatologist that deals with your true health concerns like skin cancer, acne, rashes etc. I was having such a difficult time and coming across many offices just focused on Botox and anti wrinkle creams, which I have no problem with but it just seems there is a shortage of real old school medical/surgical Dr’s. I finally came across Castle Dermatology and decided to give them a try. I made the 40 minute drive and was not disappointed one bit.I walked into their beautiful, clean office and the girls at the front desk were very welcoming. I immediately felt comfortable. I waited no less than 5 minutes and was already called into a room. Shortly after I met with Dr. Pedram. He was kind, listened to my concerns which were related to a skin cancer screening (I almost lost my father to skin cancer). He addressed my concerns and made me feel at ease. He documented and took photos of anything we needed to keep an eye of and kept it for records.Then I had some cosmetic questions. What I thought to be dumb questions, he did not. He was so kind in answering and explaining Botox and Fillers to me. And you know what I appreciated the most...the fact that not once did he try to “pitch” me something, or sell me on something, as I’ve experienced from other offices in the past. He just educated me and simply stated if I was ready to address any concerns he would be pleased in doing so. And so we proceeded with just a tad bit of filler to address a concern I’ve had for quite some time. He suggested baby steps first which I’m so thankful for and you know what? Save your money and your skin, they care more about money than their patients. I initially went in for a little bit of friction acne on my cheeks. They gave me two topicals and two orals. After 2-3 weeks my skin was raw, tight, and I could not put any product, including my normal sensitive moisturizer, without it burning. Large zits from my cheeks down to neck. Pimples on my forehead which I rarely get. I sent pictures, doctor said it’s purging and to keep using. A week or two later my skin has gotten worse so I go in, he says in a month he’ll put me on Accutane but to keep using the products. A few days later I ask if we could change one of the topicals. We do but no difference. I’ve stopped using all topicals and orals they gave me and my skin has made a miraculous recovery. Now I’m left with a bunch of scarring and pigmentation but I can actually wash my face without it hurting. I can put makeup on and it doesn’t show a mountain range of zits across my face. They also scheduled me for two appointments in one week, neither of which I made. For the first one I’m being charged a fee because I didn’t realize I even had an appointment until it was within 24 hours. Luckily I was able to catch the second one and cancel before it was too late. I wouldn’t be so upset if I hadn’t lost 4 weeks worth of work solely due to the severity of my acne.

Based on the couple of interactions that I have had with him, he always appears to be too busy to listen and gives you the impression that he has to go and see the next patient so you better wrap it up!He has moved to a new and bigger office so he probably has a lot of bills to pay. He could have been a good doctor; there may be some potentials there but certainly not the cream of the crop when it comes to taking care of patients. I visited Castel Derm. to treat a recurring rash that had appeared on my face, scalp and neck. Dr. G patiently listened to me as i explained my symptoms and health history. I have been battling this rash unsuccessfully for over 22 years and have visited half a dozen dermatologists during that time. Past treatments either had no effect or made it worse. Dr. G prescribed topical cream and i was skeptical that it would help. I applied the cream to the affected areas before bed time and when i woke up the rash was 80% under control. After 3 days the rash was 99% gone. I was shocked that this skin problem which had made my life a living hell for 2 decades had subsided that quickly . I am very grateful that Dr. G was able to identify an effective Rx on the very first visit especially when my last dermatologist failed to help after 1.5 years of brutal treatments which only made the rash more severe and caused permanent scarring on my face.
