2024-06-03 00:13:50Stopped in for a drink and a dessert. The strawberry shortcake (which apparently was a new item on the menu) was one of the top 3 desserts Ive ever eaten. Dont let the fact that they promote it as Vegan scare you away.

2024-03-04 05:08:21Despite the fact that I mentioned in the reservation I would like to sit at one of the fire pit tables yet, all the tables were already being occupied on arrival for our reservation. Which’s the reason for the FOUR STARS.Valet is automatic on arrival, otherwise they will refer you to park all the way across the street. Lol! Of course we were more than happy to pay for valet service $15.It was a cold/gloomy Saturday evening. Couldn’t really take advantage of the view with such gloomy skies.Anyway, our waitress was very nice. Gosh, I can’t recall her name - but she had the prettiest blue eyes. She was very patient with me when I was indecisive about which drink to indulge with my meal.My fiancé had the salmon which he stated was very good. Flavorful & cooked to perfection. He certainly enjoyed his meal.My dish was delicious as well. Meat was cooked thoroughly & flavorful. There was a sweet taste to my sauce which made the lamb that much enjoyable.Even though we sat inside, we still had a clear view of the marina. I was grateful to still be able to enjoy my meal with a view.I definitely recommend dining at the Cast & Plow.

2024-02-18 21:29:38We come back every time ! (January 2024)This was our second time staying at the Ritz Carlton Marina del Ray and second time to visit Cast & Plow.Rather than leave the comfort of the hotel, we opted to relax-in [again] at Cast & Plow. The team is always fantastic - friendly, fun and top-notch service ! And the food, we are never disappointed in our choices - breakfast or dinner!!

2023-10-21 13:25:58While staying at the Ritz in Marina Del Rey we stopped in to this restaurant for breakfast each day and also enjoyed dinner once evening. Additionally, we came in every night for drinks before and after dinner at the bar. Brian, the bartender who took care of us each time was great. The various servers that took care of our breakfast visits were helpful and attentive as well.Their menu is loaded with several delicious items, it was tough to decide what to get! Their huevos rancheros was incredible! But the best thing I enjoyed was their chicken at dinner… I never order chicken from a nicer restaurant, but the description looked so amazing that I had to try this and I most definitely enjoyed every bit of it! In fact, others sitting at the bar also tried it and commented about how amazing this entrée was!Save room for dessert, they have an excellent dessert menu too! Their Ritz chocolate cake was incredible!Their bar offerings are all outstanding… from their excellent wine list, to the top shelf spirits and the cocktails they make with them. They offer outdoor seating, overlooking the marina, which is a great place to enjoy breakfast!Highly recommend stopping in while staying here and even if in the area, it’s worth visiting the Ritz one evening for dinner here!

2024-01-22 03:32:03Amazing view, delicious food, and excellent service.Indoor/outdoor seating/bar seating: There are many seating options at this restaurant, but make sure to sit outside if weather permits. This place is perfect for Sunday brunch.Food: On my last visit, I ordered the Fit Wrap, grilled cajun spiced chicken breast, sauteed spinach, egg whites, feta cheese, red salsa. it was filling but did not make me feel heavy.Service: Julia was our amazing server who went out of her way to take care of us, frequently checking on us and refreshing our coffee mid-way through our meal. Sonat, the Assistant Manager, introduced himself and checked to ensure we were thoroughly satisfied, which we were. Sonat was professional, courteous and personable.Parking: Valet parking is the best option, though there is a public parking lot across the street. Shane at valet is kind, smart, courteous, and has an incredible memory.I highly recommend this restaurant, and thank you to Sonat, Julia and Shane for their outstanding service!

2024-04-30 02:35:37We came here for the breakfast buffet. Cast & Plow is located inside the Ritz Carlton hotel. The items on the menu were good. My wife loved her pancakes and my daughter enjoyed her Eggs Benedict. I had the breakfast buffet. The the omelette station put out delicious fair. the buffet spread included smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, bacon, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, etc, etc... In a nutshell, good stuff. However, for $32 I feel that the spread could have been better. For example, a waffle or a pancake station would have been nice.. also, for a restaurant in the Ritz Carlton, the service was lacking; the waitress barely checked in on us. Would I come back? Maybe. However, the M*****t down the freeway serves a better breakfast buffet for less.

2023-04-23 04:42:18Came for the view, but it was too cold to sit at the firepit table, so we sat inside. Nice dinner and great service. I requested a dessert off the menu and they were very accommodating. The only sad thing is that I lost my sunglasses at some point during this visit. But I might be back for those cookies.

2023-12-09 19:07:33The dinner was excellent. If you are looking to fill up on the meal, not the place. The restaurant was located just down the road from my hotel so I wanted to try out a Ritz Carlton restaurant. The food was the star. Service was slow the night I went even though there were not many people. Valet parking only. Of course, not uncommon for most places in Southern California. Glad I tried it once. Try it for yourself to decide.
