I have been through several loan processes with other companies in the past and I cannot recommend CCM more. Curtis and Nathan were responsive, professional, thorough, and resourceful. They were able to go beyond their own scope of work and facilitate the work and responsibilities of my title company and realtor. I was satisfied with my transaction to this company. Whatever the loan officer told me when I initially contacted the company never changed. I have been speaking with Mr. Ericson Zabat for about a week now about current rates and loan estimates for our new home in Alabama. He has been so responsive and extremely helpful. I have never left a review for anything before but I felt the need to praise Ericson because he has been truly wonderful to work with! Although we did not end up using Cash Call for this loan (hard to beat a home builder’s lender offering cash towards closing), I feel confident that we will be calling Cash Call when we inevitably refinance when (if) the rates go down. Dan Aragon has been transparent from day one. He presented us the best options with points and without points, based on what was best for our current situation. In the process of our loan, we decided to shop around to compare what was being offered out there. We found another lender that offered us a better rate. I called Dan and told him about it. He was very honest and told me that there was no way he could match the other lenders offer. After about a week I called Dan again, and let him know that it didnt go through and would like to come back to see if he could still help us. With no hesitation and with the same terms and conditions, Dan took us back and took care of us. We closed and were very happy with the outcome.It is seldom nowadays to find an honest and sincere person that will listen and help you based on your situation. I have seen lenders that would take advantage of people. Beware of lenders that would promise something that is too good to be true. Know your financial situation. Process was pretty straightforward, streamlined, and efficient. I shopped around and this company had the lowest closing cost with competitiverates. Some loan companies advertise no closing cost but actually roll over closing costs to the loan. Tommy Nguyen was very professional, helpful, and hardworking. My experience with CashCall Mortgage was extremely positive. Andrew Dominguez was amazing through out the whole process. I was shocked at the interest rate and terms Andrew quoted me. It didnt seem possible I could get such a great deal. I questioned him multiple times to be sure it was real. Initially we had a good experience looking into a refinance at 15-years fixed for 2.99% rate, seemed like wed be saving a lot of money and too good to be true. Suddenly as we got closer to closing the deal, and our documents were supposed to be sent to the underwriter (mind you - we had all of our documents submitted from our end, the ball was in Cashcalls court for 2 weeks), they suddenly started dragging their feet and nit-picking over details of documents. It turns out this was to delay our process as our guaranteed locked-in rate expired, they ignored all of our many phone calls and emails - complete silence on their end for days. Then the day after our locked-in rate expired, they emailed us saying as of that day, cashcall was halting all business for 2 weeks. Unbelievable.

Working with them was a nightmare! At one point I had to submit certain documents three times because they were not sharing them with one another and were totally disorganized. My repeated experience with Santiago was that he was very insincere and did not honor his word about following up with me. The mortgage processor I was working with, who I understand was later fired, was rude and totally disorganized. When I escalated my case internally, the woman who I dealt with said she would get back to me in a few days but failed to do so I had to keep following up in order to get my mortgage processed in a timely manner. While I was a complicated case, there is no excuse for their poor customer service and disorganization and Santiagos insincerity. He and the other people there must learn that they need to honor their word and follow up when they say they are going to. In the end I got a good rate and got it done but that surely would not have happened if I didnt stay on top of them and keep nudging them, which was totally unacceptable. Dont use these guys! Theyre all working from home and the right hand repeatedly do not know what the left hand was doing or not doing.

My point of contact changed several times. This was aggravating as the communication between CashCall and myself was inconsistent. I would like to have had regular updates even if nothing had changed; however, when I wanted to know where my loan was in the process, I had to call or e-mail. Then it was sort of hit or miss for them to get back to me in a timely manner if at all. Twice I had to include in my message that it was my second or third attempt to get a response. On the positive side, when it came time to close, CashCall was Johnny on the spot. They were able to accommodate my crazy schedule and even make last minute changes for me.

Let me start off by saying we have used cash call since 2013 and for most part because they made it easy they had all our info on file. It only takes one bad employee that has control to ruin it. We started loan on July 17.. everything was transfer to loan processor Anna Gonzales. The appraisal came in by the following Monday July 22. I called Anna said she was working on other loans and she hadn’t seen appraisal come back.. she will look into it and never called me back. I called 2 days later to make sure everything was ok and if signing was going to happen.. once again Anna said she’s reviewing with under writing and she’ll call me back. Never did. I called David a day later.. he started loan.. he said he don’t have access to our loan and Anna will call shortly after they review with underwriting. She didn’t so I called David back next day and I told him I thought she was very unprofessional and she can at least call to give update. he said she’ll call back.. she did at 730pm asking for paperwork I had sent already..this went on and on.. I figured out she was waiting til next month to start ours and I would have appreciated communication. We ended up not getting loan they said our debt ratio was to high. Not sure if that’s the truth why they didn’t say that from the beginning they had everything for about 3 weeks.

A couple members of my family have used Cashcall Mortgage, so it was recommended to me for a refinance. I also shopped around a few different companies and found that CashCall had low fees and a better rate. My experience was mostly with Ericson and Liliana. I appreciate Ericson particularly because he was patient, kind, and thorough. He helped me understand and explain the process during my communication with him. It took a couple of weeks for me to lock down a rate, but that was due to my financial status and hesitancy. Minus one star because I requested to have my loans mortgage impounded, to include insurance and property tax, but that did not happen after everything was finalized. I did notice that it was not impounded when doing the final signatures, but since I had requested for the impound initially and this was my first time refinancing, that it might be impounded somewhere along the line. When I contacted CashCall to inquire why that didnt happen, I was not given a reason why but was given a telephone number and case number to call for LoanCare so that I could call and try to have that impounded. So not sure where the miscommunication was for the impound request, but it didnt happen. This process of finalizing everything took almost a month and I do not want to spend any more time for this refinance. Now that I know more about this process, I would likely inquire from CashCall again if I needed to refinance due to their low fees, but ensure the terms were what I wanted before finalizing.

I cant even give this company a star!!! But it wont allow me to post this review unless I click on at least one. They make commitments they dont keep. From the processor to the underwriter to the terrible Supervisor Jennifer, not one of them does their job. The employees make commitments after several mistakes and then they tell you AFTER the loan funds that they cant honor them. Definitely shop around this company is awful and there are too many good reputable places to do your refinance.

After filing out an online form to refi and getting a million of calls, I decided to go with CashCall because my situation of being self employed was difficult, as most self employed loans are, and Brent, the loan officer, gave me hope that I could refi. He sent to Curtis the processor and between Curtis, who was amazing and on the ball, and Brent and myself, we did it! Due to my situation there was a lot of crossing ts and dotting Is. Curtis made sure the package was perfect with the documentation (which I kmew was important so was also on the ball too getting all checks and statements and everything quickly). He presented the package, they only needed a few more things, then it was a go, and I am funding today. I cant say thank you enough, I got a rate I can live with for the next 30 years while the rates still remain decent, I was afraid I would be stuck in a higher rate forever. They were professional and nice, so I say thank you brent and curtis~! Also, my kids thank you as I can now spend that extra money I was spending on my mortage on my kiddos!

In fact, I was shopping around and ultimately went with CashCall AGAIN because Ericson did valuable follow up after my initial inquiry and was equally conscientious throughout. Absolutely everything other than the signing was done by phone or online. This review is aimed at our customer service experience with Ericson Zabat only. He was phenomenal every step of the way, as there were lots of hiccups, ie: underwriter conditions, conditions were met, than numerous others were added, lack of communication from the loan processor-not returning calls, emails or messages, almost as if they didn’t want our business. His communication with us went above and beyond what he needed to do, the loan processor Aleza and our underwriter sucked, they were the absolute worst and left a lot to be desired when Aleza literally bad talked to us about the only person (Ericson) that was helping us through this entire process!Even after my husband advised Ericson that if the loan wasn’t a go, that’s fine. He encouraged my husband to hang in there. The rate was locked at 2.5%. Well, it was a long process, but through Ericson’s continued support and encouragement, it actually was completely done. OMGoodness people! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE. This company processed my loan for 5K less than it was supposed to be. We found this out on the day of closing; I had to pay that 5K out of my own pocket. They were supposed to collect 15 mos of escrow, but only collected three, which left me without insurance as they transferred my servicing to a company called SPS and they stopped all escrow payments and are completely clueless as to what is going on with my escrow account. I have had to pay another 5K in insurance out of my own pocket. 10K later, Sally Berverena, the loan agent, finally admitted they missed it during processing, but so did the title company, Members Title, who was supposed to collect the insurance at closing, so I guess that makes it ok. Cash Call missed two closing extensions and on the third one, which had no finance contingency, my realtor had to threaten them to get them to close on time or I would have lost my original 10K deposit. I wont even mention the continued submissions of documents I had previously submitted to Eric Akinyemi, the underwriter. When things go south they will not answer or return phone calls and pretend they cannot send you an email response. This is the worst company I have ever done business with, not to mention the 10K it has cost me out of pocket to keep my loan. Please do not do business with this company. As far as I am concerned they are liars and fraudsters, willing to indulge in questionable practices to keep themselves out of hot water. Be very careful and have lots of reserves if you choose to go with this company!

They will string you along for months and months telling you everything is great, even though it is a string of new names that suddenly take over for the last person, and then they eventually fail to close your loan, even after docs have been drawn and notarized, one, two, maybe three times. Yes, I notarized an inch thick stack of docs three times!!! This is the most mismanaged state of incompetence I have seen in the industry... Rates and terms look great, but if they can’t deliver, it’s meaningless. Stay away!

CashCall sold my mortgage to another bank, which is not uncommon. However, both banks/mortgage companies provided me letters indicating that the new bank would be taking my mortgage payment. CashCall would NOT be withdrawing my mortgage payment.But, surprise...they did. So I had 2 mortgage payments withdrawn. The new bank couldnt do anything for me.I tried to call Cashcall using 8 different numbers and couldnt get through because my mortgage number was no longer valid. I eventually found an email and wrote them. I received 2 emails (the same) saying that they were working on the issue.It took 2 weeks to receive the refund through the mail. The letter accompanying the cheque indicated that due to their on-going commitment to quality assurance, they had found that they had taken a duplicate ACH payment. I was thoroughly upset. $1500 is a lot to have taken out of my account. There could have been a lot of over drawn cheques. They are borderline dishonest.

I found them through Zillows recommendation and the rates were really good. The process started immediately but after the first 15 days,it was a mess. I had problems reaching the contact person, no follow-ups, goof ups in timings/location for signing documents and finally after waiting for 1 month (due to pandemic situation) I came to knew that they couldnt process the loan. They asked for a second opportunity and I did give them but again they messed up having me wait for 7 days with no follow-up or transparency about whether my loan was initiated or not. I have done three loans with this CO.Two got done NASCAR fast, one 14 days from 1st phone call to check in my hand.The 2nd was 19 days from 1st contact to signing and done.The 3rd was going great, BUT they had a different team member come into the mix at the finish and kept up with such poor communications that I ALMOST pulled out. What a joke. Right after I filled out the application everyone dissapeared. We did not hear from anyone for 2 weeks. Then they kept finding ways to extend the timeline. Finally talked to a VP, he said they were not doing business at this time because he had to layoff 90% of his staff. No one called us. Cashcall is not a loan servicer they are loan generators so they could not continue. I went through 2 loan officers 4 processors a manager and a VP. All but one of them lied to me. ZERO STARS. As a real estate professional, I deal with mortgage brokers, bankers, loan officers, banking institutions and the like. With out a doubt, in a half decade of selling homes, this Mortgage Group is probably one of the worst Ive encountered. My local mort co brokered out to Impac and they were far too slow to get back on docs, it took them almost two months and 2+ extensions of escrow for them to finally deny the the funding due to a condition that was completely misunderstood and not given proper time to evaluate. During the loan process issued a NEW condition after it was allegedly cleared. They take eons to process anything. It seemed like days would go by before the underwriters would review the newest documentation, and when they did, they would simply request new conditions. The madness became more disconcerting when we realized that integral staff was out of town or on vacation when they were needed to facilitate necessary documentation. They do not respond promptly and their UW dept. is unorganized and difficult to pass info on to. If you are shopping for a loan and anyone MENTIONS the name Impac. . . do NOT work with them.

After working with this insulting, unethical loan officer we financed this mortgage with our money market funds. Her rates went from 3.25% to 5.99% in 1 month. WORST MORTGAGE Company I spent the better part of 2 months dealing with these idiots to close on a condo in Palm Desert, Ca. Sarah my loan processor in Irvine, Ca was the most inept woman I have ever met. Could not explain anything. Could not understand the process and was clueless as to what insurance should cost for a condo. Now mind you, I have an 800 credit score--had over 20% down and yet was treated like I was some deadbeat trailer park trash person.The ridiculous things I had to provide over and over and over that Sarah seemed to lose, was just unacceptable. It was if she took pleasure and having me provide the same thing to her over and over to stall me off.So here we are 3 months past closing. Cashcall insisted I carry hazard insurance on the contents of the condo. Never had this been a requirement when purchasing condos in several locals and states. The HOA provides a hazard policy on the structure. Your contents are your responsibility if you care to insure it. Not with Cashcall. Oh no, they required a policy in place for contents prior to closing and needed to impound in escrow the monthly premium. They wanted 2 months premium collected at closing.Well, here we are 3 months later and I get notice my condo owners content policy was cancelled last month for lack of payment. Cashcall never paid a dime in premiums.So when incompetent Sarah set up the account, she screwed up the payment for the ridiculous condo content policy. So basically I am paying CashCall money that they are not using to pay my insurance.Today I spent over 1 1/2 hours on hold with Cashcall. And it still isnt resolved because no one answers the phone. You just sort your way thru auto attendant recordings to finally be put on hold for no one to answer.DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE NO MATTER WHAT !!

As a mortgage broker stay away from this wholesale company. I sent them a loan and asked my AE Mo Donalds a thousand time if it will be approved. I even sent the credit report, so they will be sure. She told me a thousand times that it will be approved. Turned out they declined it because the Chapter 13 was based on the discharge date and not based on the filing date as she told me.They should have AEs that at the very least have some basic knowledge of their own guidelines.Save yourself and your clients time and stay away from this company.

If I could only give negative star ratings. Learning my lesson the hard way, it isnt the acct executive issue it is a all internal that no one cares. I have been battling underwriting on a 203h my clients have gone thru enough from Hurricane Harvey and now are being dragged through nonsense to get final approval. My 2nd time having issues and was sold by a new acct exec. It is my fault for falling into the trap. AVOID THIS LENDER AT ANY COST!!! 3 weeks of calling for executive action and cant even get a return call.

BE AWARE !!!!! During the loan process Cash call loan officer PETER CHIN changed my home owners insurance payee name to Cash call as if we made a deal. I never gave them permission to do so nor have I signed closing docs. Check your home insurance policy there are other lenders out there doing the same thing.

I started a refinance with them three months ago and still the loan is not closed. They stopped answering my phone calls and emails.Also I stared a second refinance for a different house. They told me they locked the rate at 3.625%. Then they called me three weeks later and said they the rate wasn’t locked and asked me to pay 4.125%.This is fraud.

This place is a complete joke. After being told they lost our check and that no fees would be charged for us to make a new payment. They decided to charge us fees and refused to waive them telling us that it was our fault they lost our check. Then they found the check over a month later and tried to cash it.I’m sure the sales agents are nice but they can’t even own up to there own mess up.

IMPAC MORTGAGE, LOANCARE, AND CASH CALL; the absolute worst companies to do business with. When my real estate loan was processed with Impac Mortgage, they engaged is unethical loan practices, and wanted copies of personal medical records regarding a family member which is the reason I bought the home. Requesting these records is a clear violation of HIPPA laws. Every time my mortgage broker turned around Impac Mortgage needed the same information we had already given them, so we produced multiple times the same documents that they seemed to have lost in cyber space. Apparently the unhappy employees were quitting left and right due to the companys unethical business practices, and nothing could be found when someone new was assigned our loan. They overcharged us for closing costs, and finally after over 2 1/2 months our loan closed. When I made my first house payment, they charged my bank account a $10 fee to verify that I had enough money in my account; which I did plus $700 to spare. I never authorized for them to charge additional funds, did not authorize them to inquire about my checking account balance for a fee, and did not sign up for automatic payments either. As soon as I can I will be moving this loan out of their hands to another financial institution. I would encourage anyone who is buying a home to find a more reputable organization than Impac Mortgage, Loan Care, or Cash Call.Pressing 1 star is the only way I could get my message to post, and they do not even deserve that. I will be making a complaint with the appropriate authorities about Impac Mortgage.

Impact mortgage is the worst lender.I would like to give them minus 5 stars.we try to get the loan thru them .non professionals,3 extensions, they did not respect the closing date, all the papers had mistakes from the amount of money to the sellers name.also they sent the wrong price to the appraisal company.they send also a different address.I have all the proof of theyre mistakes.I lost the contract on the house,I lost my earnest money, lost the appraisal money-950$.I lost a lot of money because of them.Dont even try to go thru a loan thru them.Income and deposits were very high, perfect credit score, they did not have a reason but the day after I lost the contract on the house they said that we can not do the loan.I already lost the house and on the disclosere papers they were adding closing dates without asking no one if that is a good closing date.dates that were out of contracts.Stay away people.I want to sue them for neglect and for non professionalism and for the mistakes that they made.By the way they are not reading the documents that you send them .They discriminate everything.If there are other people who got screwed by impact leave reviews.Its not ok whats happening.This people are destroying the mortgage system.Sorry for my English
