When we bought our home in El Dorado Hills, it was in need of some repairs and one of our hopes was to replace our backyard deck as it was old and dilapidated. When the time came for that project, we reached out to several companies for bids. Carruth Home Solutions answered our call promptly and Steve Carruth came out to assess the job. What a great experience! Lots of options and design possibilities were gone over and he soon sent me a drawing of the proposed deck and railing including stairs. After several considerations and bids, we decided to go with Steve and his team, and boy, are we glad we did!There was not an issue from start to finish. Great quality work, done exactly as promised and finished down to the smallest detail. We decided on a few small changes as the job progressed, and this was no problem for Steve, Micah or Judah. Questions were answered and concerns addressed.We highly recommend Carruth Home Solutions for your consideration and can say you will be very satisfied, as we are. Carruth Home Solutions recently completed several home improvement projects at my residence. Work included caulking all exterior stucco cracks and gaps, removing and replacing new front and rear outside light fixtures, and replacing trim and casing before installing a new front entry door and hardware.Written estimates contained detailed itemizations with payment receipts provided at each phase of completion. There were no deviations or “surprises” from prices quoted. All work was performed in a timely manner with meticulous attention to detail. Cleanup was thorough and respectful; trash was collected and hauled away, leaving the property immaculate.Carruth Home Solutions is a highly skilled and experienced team of three professionals. Their work surpassed my expectations, and I am extremely pleased with the results. As needs arise, I will not hesitate to call upon them in the future. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! Steves professional expertise and vast knowledge of indoor air quality was instrumental in handling the biological growth I discovered in my HVAC system. He presented a detailed report that clearly outlined the problem, the cause, and several options for a solution. Communication was outstanding as he checked back with me multiple times via text and email. I couldnt be more pleased with the service I received from Carruth Home Solutions and would highly recommend this first-rate company in the future!

Reached out to the Carruths on the recommendation of a trusted professional. Steve called back right away to discuss our home repair needs and after a house visit, prepared the most detailed report Id ever seen.From start to finish, Steve, Judah, Micah and the crew worked diligently to complete the project down to EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL.In the process they found major issues from dry rot to old termite damage. Despite my horror of what was uncovered, they werent in the least bit deterred. This crew is truly made for the challenge!We would NEVER trust anyone else with our home repairs or renovations.

Steve, Judah and Micah did a beautiful job of replacing our old deck and rebuilding a brand new expansive Trex deck with lighting. In fact our home is highlighted on their website (the one with the pool) so you can see how gorgeous it looks. We love our deck and so do our friends! And then we had the team take care of a structural problem due to dry rot issues saving us thousands of dollars and they handled other dry rot areas around our house. Its like living in a brand new house again! You cant go wrong with Carruth Home Solutions.

Carruth Home Solutions has been my go-to for several years now and I always call on them first when I need help at both my personal home, as well as for my clients Real Estate needs. Trust me when I say- they likely wont be the cheapest bid, but they are honest & reliable and I know that I can depend on them to provide top-notch, quality work. The Carruth team showed up, found the problem, and delivered a plan of action for repair so quickly, my head was spinning. The work was high quality and very well done. Steve and his sons exceeded my expectations on how polite and professional they handled every step of the process. My late husband was a general contractor, and one learns a thing or two when living with that type of skill. The Carruth team does the job exceptionally well and delivers on time. Highly recommended.

The Carruth team are the exception. They rebuilt my two car carport and replaced my backyard decking. Both were major projects with some unseen issues. They resolved the problems very professionally and completed both projects in a timely and professional manner. They are really good at what they do.

These guys are fantastic. I am now using them on second home I have bought. On my first home, they rebuilt my deck using Trex planks with supper sturdy metal railing and posts that looks amazing. They modified the steps to be easier to go up and down. For my plumbing I had them add a water filtration system to remove sediment and chlorine. Then they added a RO under the sink for my drinking and cooking water. I had them change the HVAC system to newer higher efficient system that works great. Lastly they added a range hood in the kitchen and solar tube light to the living room. On my 2 nd home, they replaced the old, galvanized water lines as they were clogged up. They added a water filtration system to remove sediment and chlorine and added a RO water treatment under the sink. They also renovated the sewer lines that always had issues. Great team, on time, reliable and fairly priced.
