The Carmichael Seniors Club meets at the Camichael Park Clubhouse on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Today we had our Valentine potluck and welcomed a new member and a couple of visitors.

Disc golf 9 hole practice course is what brings me there. They have other cool events on certain days of the week with food trucks on one of the and craft fair items on another day.

Lots of tennis courts and the people were respectful when I asked for our tennis balls from over the fence. There are baseball fields on all corners of the park as well as a small disc golf course that wraps around the park. Other than the high foot traffic areas, the grass is quite green and didnt see a lot of homeless considering it was almost 9:00p when I left. A good recreation spot to play sports and hangout while not feeling like Im in a shabby part of town.

Good place to play disk golf, just must be careful. The main street is near.

Fun night! Went for 1st time last year and really enjoyed it. Fireworks show was really nice. Crowd wasn’t bad either. It’s obviously very popular as the last few hours was extremely crowded. Drawbacks - not enough food/drink vendors. Definitely not enough restrooms; from about 7:00 on the line just got bigger and bigger. Waited about 20 minutes to get into one. Should have gone earlier when there were very few people in line.

There dog park is great the farmers market on Sundays is wonderful they have food trucks on Thursdays awesome.and concerts in the park will be starting soon.have nice frisbee golf course too

Plant show and sale is getting smaller but more crowded. Parking was difficult this year . Plant sellers were awesome as usual

Carmichael Park is a great place to go! By yourself or with others. Its free, cant beat that! For me the best part is the small yet comfy-cozy Flea Market! Its on dependably every Sunday from 8a to 2-4p, rain or shine! Handicrafts, food - eat.there or take home, always an enjoyable minstrel playing music, fresh.produce, i personally love the homemade tamales (delightful!) (;

Park is great. But who were the dummies that installed the tennis court lights electrical box 90° wrong? Then to allow access to the panel they cut a giant hole in the fence for balls to escape. The red button for turning in the lights is supposed to face into the court.
