We had our wedding in the Merienda Room at Carmel Fields on 6/8/24 and the garden arbor ceremony. My husband and I have zero bad memories or negative things to say. Anahi, who provided our tour when we first visited, did our sales intake, and was our day-of coordinator, was AMAZING. 10 out of 10, she was so on point. Huge thank you to Anahi. We live in San Francisco, and planning from out-of-town was super easy. Wedgewood sent a huge binder with checklists and notes, and we had several remote planning calls. They are all pros, we would highly recommend Wedgewood/Carmel Fields to anyone looking for an all-inclusive wedding venue in Central Coast. All the vendors were fantastic, especially CCE, the DJ and upgraded photo booth team. Im a huge music person so wanted to make sure the music was perfect, and it absolutely was. Lupe (our DJ) was awesome! Plus the Merienda Room is gorgeous, the surrounding hills look like Switzerland. We could not have been happier with how our wedding went. Thank you again, WW!

I have photographed countless weddings at Carmel Fields by Wedgewood weddings and I have had a wonderful experience every time. The staff is amazing and responsive. The team of wedding coordinators make sure everything runs one time and efficiently but you never feel rushed. The bridal suite for getting ready had such amazing lighting for getting ready shots. There are numerous locations to decide on where to have your wedding ceremony and they all photograph so well.

Im so happy I had my wedding at Carmel Fields! The beach ceremony and the reception were both gorgeous. They were kind and easy to work with during the planning process and answered my millions of questions. Day of, everything went smoothly and all of my requests were honored because of the hard working staff and my amazing Day of Coordinator, Alycia! We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was, how great the food was, and how nice the staff was. I cant thank the Wedgewood team enough for making our big day so great! They are true professionals and go above and beyond for their clients!

The team at Carmel Fields was amazing going above and beyond what we expected. My partner and I felt comfortable and in control of the entire process. The team was extremely organized and helped answer any possible questions we had along the way. The beach ceremony was stunning, combined with the preferred floral vendor, delivering a spring-themed, colorful wedding. The venue was equally as gorgeous and the Carmel Fields team did an incredible job decorating, going above and beyond what we even asked for/anticipated. We received so many comments from our guests on the setting, decor, venue, and food. Some said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been too and we would agree. The entire wedding planning process and actual wedding was a dream come true. Wedgewood covers all of your needs and are super flexible to make the day special and unique to be just what you want. The food was incredible, amazing venue and staff, plus all the vendors included in the different packages were great. I highly recommend booking your wedding venue at Carmel Fields by Wedgewood Weddings (or any Wedgewood site as I’ve been to friends wedding in other areas by Wedgewood) for your special day!

I loved Wedgewood wedding Carmel fields. My specialist coordinator Cloe was excellent. They made sure my daughter had the beach wedding of her dreams. The venue at the monastery beach was like a dream. Absolutely beautiful! The food and cocktail hour was first class. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a destination wedding very affordable.

Carmel Fields by Wedgewood was an incredible venue for our daughters wedding! It was absolutely perfect. The venue is amazing and the staff was fantastic. All of our guests raved about the great food which can be rare at weddings. The service was great and everyone was so nice. All of their vendors are fantastic and so easy to work with. The beach wedding was so special and the view was unreal. Felt look a movie. Perfection!! Our wedding coordinator was Priscilla and she was so wonderful. She made everything come together perfectly. Every request she made happen. She made our experience so stress free! She is gifted at what she does and she knows all the special little details and touches that we didn’t even think of. Every request was met with a “sure no problem”My husband and I made a special gift for our daughter and son In law which needed to have the guest anchor that the wedding guest signed put in the shadow box for us to present at our speech. We shared that with her and when my husband went to go put it together, it was already done and Priscilla was bringing it to the dance floor to set up. Incredible! This was the most beautiful wedding and Priscilla and wedgewood Carmel fields made it happen!!! Thank you so much and I’ve already referred so many to this venue!! 5+ stars

They take wonderful care of you, the binder they send you helps cover all planning details and really helped my messy brain stay organized, the people they work with are also phenomenal like the DJ service, bakery, and officiants. I loved getting married using the little gazebo and their food for the reception was heavenly 💕 10/10. I worried about nothing on my wedding day and enjoyed being able to go with the flow.I highly recommend using their bakery recommendation... best cake Ive ever had.. even my hair/makeup artist asked for their details after because it was so good.

My husband and I had our wedding with Wedgewood in the Fiesta room. Having a destination wedding was a little worrisome as the majority of my questions were via phone and emails, however, the Wedgewood team put me at ease by always being so timely in their responses. I provided all my little details and left it in the hands of our day of coordinator to make my vision come true... and she did not disappoint. Everything came out so beautifully and she ensured a stress free day. Our day of coordinator was Torey. She was so nice, professional and made everyone feel comfortable. She made sure that I was relaxed prior to the wedding and was literally there for our every need. I remember finishing the ceremony and there she was at the end of our aisle with champagne for us. She made sure to put my bouquet in a vase without me asking, she even helped bustle my dress! She made sure that my husband and I had appetizers at the table for us and our drinks in hand. I honestly cant say one bad thing about the day. Torey left mid way through the night where she introduced us to the banquet captain- Aloha, who was just as attentive with us. At the end of the night, I asked what I could do to help clean up. She assured me that everything would be picked up by their team and I could come the next day to get the decor I had left. Let me emphasize on the stress-free bride I was that whole day and night. Lastly, I received so many compliments from our guest about how kind and fun the staff was towards them. Overall, I would recommend Wedgewood to anyone!

The Wedgewood Weddings venue in Carmel Valley was a beautiful location to celebrate nuptials of two wonderful friends on thier special day. An outdoor gazebo overlooking the oak tree flanked hills of Carmel.Valley was the setting for the wedding ceremony followed by a short walk up hill to the building where cocktails week served in the the bar/receiving area. After two hours the double doors opened to an expansive dining area with white washed post and beam ceiling. A wall of windows revealed the hills and moss draped ancient oak trees. This is a well appointment facility for any event.

I think the photos speak for themselves. This is very low class without even being affordable. If you want a beach ceremony they don’t even take you to the location but give you directions on where to look after the tour. It’s ten minutes out of the way, not the best for guests. The area tends to be very breezy as well. So be ready for a windy wedding 👰 The person who toured us was also very unprofessional after we drove 1.5 hours out of the way to see the place. No thanks. Wedgewood has many other locations better than this one.

From beginning to end the staff made this a wedding dream come true, making wedding planning a breeze. I shot a gorgeous wedding on the beach followed by a reception at Wedgewood. What a fabulous staff and incredible group of people they have taking care of your wedding party that day. They went above and beyond to help everyone feel at ease at the rehearsal. Everything is set up early with ample time for your photographer to be able to get room shots and details at any point in the day. The space is fantastic, both indoor and out. Highly recommend!

Its been a month since our big day and I still cant stop smiling. Wedgewood Carmel Fields was such a great choice for us and we could not have hoped for better.This particular venue allows you to plan your own wedding, but takes most of the hassle out of it. They include food (and it was delicious), set-up (and it was gorgeously done), and venue use (the place is outstanding). Their coordinators also work with you a few times leading up to the wedding so that they know how the day will go and give you lots of suggestions and tips to realize any dreams you have. They provide DJ and MC service and they are extremely professional. Every staff member at the wedding was cheerful, polite and respectful.We got our own photographer but the vendor that Carmel Fields recommends (API) is also good - we got our videographer from them. You have lots of add on options with the DJ and MC vendor they partner with - we got Karaoke and it was the best decision ever. I was not entirely happy with the flower quality and working with the flower vendor, but Carmel Fields includes this vendor in its pricing and our coordinators helped us out with communication and set-up. We also cared very little about flowers so it wasnt a big deal at all. We enjoyed the cake so much and enjoyed working with the cake vendor the Carmel Fields partner with.Chloe was our main coordinator and she is such a ray of sunshine. She was happier for us than some of my closest friends. She did everything we asked for and ensured the wedding proceeded accordingly. We also worked with Alycia and she is a gem. We enjoyed our time planning this wedding and spent the wedding day having fun and worry free. Thank you Carmel Fields.

Beautiful place to have a 6pm wedding. Views are great, not too hot, but be warned that the sun will be in your face if your are part of the wedding party standing at the gazebo. This used to be an old golf course turned into a park and a wedding venue. The food was great at the reception, we had the steak and salmon which were delicious, considering it is a wedding reception.

I am a wedding photographer and I love working with other vendors who care about their couples. Wedgewood Carmel is no different. In fact, these ladies are so sweet and caring. A wedding day never goes fully smooth but with them, it was pretty close to it! They helped me settle in and loved chatting with me during a short break. They were always very organized, punctual, and everything was explained in the beginning. I loved that I did not have major stress planning everything, they kept me and my husband organized. Stunning location, perfect backdrop for photos and close to the beach if you want beach photos. My wedding was almost 2 years ago and we’re still getting compliments on a beautiful wedding. The food was fantastic and wish I could order form the kitchen on the regular! They worked with my budget and were always available to answer my questions. This was a destination wedding for us so they’re recommended vendors and affiliate companies were great to work with! We had a few small snafus with our personal vendors (outside of Wedgewood so at no fault of their own) and their staff made sure our night was as perfect as can be! My husband and I live in North Carolina, but we are natives of California. Our entire family is in CA and that is why we wanted to ensure we got married there. Wedge Wood Carmel and their all inclusive packaging really helped take the stress out of wedding planning across the country. I loved that I was able to customize my package, I LOVED the wedding cake vendor the recommended (I Do Wedding Cakes located in Morgan Hill), and I loved the photographer they recommend in their packages (A Perfect Impression). The DJ was awesome and really understood what we wanted. The staff and servers were wonderful. I would definitely recommend!

Our overall experience with Wedgewood Carmel was amazing, we were one of the couples that had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic and Wedgewood was so amazing and accommodating throughout that time. When our big day came last weekend they knocked it out of the park, it truly was magical and such a great time with all of our loved ones. We knew we wanted a venue that included the essential vendors, and everyone except the floral company (Flor de Monterey - we do NOT recommend that vendor) did amazing!! Our coordinator Anahi really helped calm the nerves and keep our timing on track. We were able to really enjoy ourselves which is something so many married couples told us was important and not getting caught up in the hustle of it all, we don’t like to use the word perfect but it really felt like it on our Special day. Thank you Wedgewood Carmel for hosting our special day!!! So if you’re looking for an all inclusive and budget friendly venue, we highly recommend Wedgewood Carmel.

I highly recommend this as your wedding venue. Everyone was super helpful and guided you every step of the way with phone calls, meetings and reminders. My stress level was a zero on the day of the wedding. The coordinators made sure everything ran smoothly and checked in on me periodically. We had a buffet lunch instead of plated meal and everyone was raving about the quantity and quality of food available. I cannot thank everyone enough!

The staff was tremendous. Answered questions quickly (and we had a lot). It’s difficult to plan a wedding when you’re over 4 hours away, but we felt at ease with the staff.The ceremony site was beautiful and arranged well. The sound system wasn’t consistently working, but we rolled with it. The reception was decorated perfectly. The food was amazing. Definitely recommend this venue.

I cannot thank the Wedgewood Carmel team enough. They truly helped make my wedding day one of the best days possible. Back when we started researching wedding venues, I was shocked that some places in the Carmel/Monterey area wanted to charge $13,000+ just to rent the space! Wedgewood has got the best prices in the area hands down. Plus, depending on which package you choose, they include invitations, cake, DJ, clergy, food, drinks, linen, chairs, and more. I don’t know how I would have survived wedding planning without Wedgewood.We were one of the not-so-lucky couples that had to postpone our wedding because of Covid. Our original wedding date was supposed to be 17 days after the big shutdown in March 2020. Wedgewood stuck with us through 3 postponements and 4 different wedding dates. I know a lot of people that went with other venues weren’t so lucky. We didn’t lose out on any of the money we put towards our wedding and they even provided us with a free chair upgrade which was totally unexpected.Kate was our event coordinator on the big day and she absolutely rocks! Anything I needed, she was right there ready to help. Right before the ceremony I had to use the restroom and she made sure that the other Wedgewood staff had eyes on my husband to make sure he didn’t accidentally see me before the ceremony. I was a nervous wreck just before the ceremony and she talked me down and offered to have a drink waiting for me and my husband as soon as the ceremony was over. Sure enough, right after the ceremony when we turned the corner, there she was with 2 mimosas in hand. She also came in and saved us when we were trying to bustle my dress. Since I had had it altered well over a year before the wedding everyone forgot how we were supposed to bustle it. Kate stepped in and got it done in a matter of minutes.I could go on and on with all of the wonderful things I have to say about Kate and the Wedgewood Carmel staff. Just know that if you choose them for your wedding, they will not disappoint.

I cannot say enough about how much we loved working with Wedgewood. The planning was amazingly simple and everything was customizable. The staff was excellent at answering all our questions and put us at ease through the whole process. I HIGHLY recommend if you are a busy working bride like me going with this company. You get a binder with a to-do list and everything you need to know and recommendations for who to contact (all excellent vendors). The service staff and DJ did a fantastic job keeping us on track and maximizing the time we got to spent with our guests. The cake was delicious and the design was exactly what we wanted.

Attended a wedding, the food was okay, but what was completely unprofessional was the bar tending staff. An older man was not wearing a mask, and he would grab ice with his bare hands and put it in a cocktail cup. During a pandemic, especially, I would expect more cleanliness and professionalism from the staff. Overall, nice venue, nice staff, food was okay, but the bartenders, very questionable! Some people paid for drinks so his hands not only touched people’s credit cards but also cash, and those same hands touched the ice that went in your cup, the straws, and garnish.

We had a decent experience with Wedgewood - the staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and they did a good job of keeping us organized. But there were a few ways they fell short that would make me think twice if we could do it all over again.* The pricing was weird for a wedding of our size (65 ppl) - we had to add a bunch of stuff on we didn’t want just to meet the minimum.* They didn’t follow the recipe we sent for signature cocktails and refused to muddle drinks even with the Elite package.* A couple of the vendors they used were a challenge to work with - florist in particular.* A quite expensive flower arrangement went missing and wasn’t at the venue the following day when we went to pick up our stuff.Overall a decent experience with them, but not flawless. Nonetheless, an unforgettable day and we’re thankful to Wedgewood staff for making it all happen!

I had a really great wedding experience! We had our ceremony at Monastery Beach and the reception at Wedgewood. I really appreciated Marisa, Kendalyn, Jason (the DJ), and the guy in the cowboy hat whose name I didnt get. Having day-of wedding coordinator definitely helped ease my nerves, and I was able to let go on the wedding day. They also went out of their way to treat me wonderfully, and helped me coordinate accommodations for my deaf and hard of hearing guests (which was an unusual request). So yes, I recommend this place for anyone who wants a less stressful wedding planning process.

My fiance and I just toward this venue today and we left feeling very disheartened. We drove from Sacramento very excited to see this venue, because they include LGBT weddings. What was not told to us is that they require an $18,000 minimum to use their venue. They state on their website they have plans if youre not looking to spend an arm and a leg. There were no such plans. Our tour guide made us feel very awkward and uncomfortable, the tour was incredibly rushed. Booking the appointment was a hassle in itself, I sent in an inquiry and waited a week with no response. Anytime we called there was no answer, and the mailboxes were full. I had to send in a second inquiry to receive a response to book a tour. I would not recommend.

My husband and I loved our experience at Wedgewood Carmel! We cant say enough good things about this venue. The staff was so pleasant to work with; were really impressed by how professional they are. The planning with Brea and Sophia went smoothly and they responded to emails on a timely manner. Our wedding was very intimate and unique. We had our ceremony at Monastery Beach and our reception at the Rancho Canada Golf Course in the Merienda room, both locations are gorgeous!From the moment we arrived to the reception Karen our Banquet captain and the banquet staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of the rest of the evening. Everyone loved the buffet; so theres no need to worry about not being able to do a tasting. Our DJ Bryan made every effort to keep the dance floor vibrant and was very patient with all the guests requests. The staff makes you feel extra special :)This is the place to go if you have a budget. You have the freedom to customize your all inclusive package. We received many compliments on the spectacular location of the venue and the food that was served.Wedgewoods accommodating way, flexibility, and affordability made it possible for us to have our dream wedding without getting into debt. This place seemed too good to be true; theyre incredibly easy to work with. It turned out to be our dream wedding!Thanks to the Wedgewood Carmel team for this wonderful experience! We had our wedding on the beach and the reception here. From the beginning of the planning to the reception, everything went great. The wedding planners were extremely helpful and walked us through the whole process. We got a lot of good feedback from our guests and everyone thought the food was very good.

I had my wedding here Wedgewood weddings Carmel. My only advice to whoever sees this review is please do your homework ask questions on top of questions make sure you get a complete understanding before you sign any paperwork and before you pick this venue. Dont get me the wrong the venue is very nice the food is extremely good very tasteful. Like I said before you sign anything make sure you read everything and I dont just read everything over and over make sure you understand and dont be afraid to ask questions. I had a couple of issues and they werent very nice of course it was after I sign the contract. I am just happy its over and I just wish that I would have took my time to find the perfect venue..

We considered this as a wedding venue but were very unhappy. The women we met with was very nice and knowledgeable but the venue itself was not well kept or very clean. The windows were dirty and the tables set up in the banquet hall had dirty glasses and plates. They said they may be going through a renovation but there was no definitive answer.

My brother had a wedding here on the beach. I was the singer. I was scheduled to be there a few hours earlier than the start time to rehearse with the mic and mic check. When i got to the beach they were setting up everything still.. There is a long driveway to get to where they were setting up so i drove in and parked because i was in heels and it was deep sand and hard stomnes and rocks. The skinny tall fella with the long hair was extremely rude to me immidiately the moment i got ut my car. He told me i couldnt park there and needed to park way up the road where the rest of the guest will be parking.. i let him know i just needed to do a mic check and i would be out their hair in less than 10 minutes. He informed me that the DJ wasnt even there yet so i decided to wait due to him saying it may be only 20 minutes before DJ arrives. . (This area had about 4 more other parking spots available let me be clear on that) So a few minutes later the Coordinator of wedgewood pulled in and in what i would call rude attitude reiterated to me i couldnt park there. Her reason was that the bride would be pulling in that area. i am the grooms sister and it was about an hour and a half before the bride was going to even get in the vehicle to be brought down (i know this because i had just spoke to her) so at this point i could tell this was some sort of power struggle that was taking place with this woman so i decided to give her my number and ask her to call me when the DJ got there. She agreed and told me i could park back there when i got back. Once i came back and parked where it was said to be ok now this womn developed amnesia and aggressively told me i once again couldnt park there and at this point seemed very flustered. i reminded her that she had just told me when i came back it was fine to park there. i was not going to walk half a mile in wedding attire and shoes. i do not apprecite her making a big deal out of parking in a spot where my sister was not due to arrive for another hour. I wlked away to spare an argument and begin to do my mic check. about 10 minutes go by and she comes over to me in front of many guests that had already started arriving and was raising her voice. She was told by 3 different people to lower her voice in front of the guest. She then tells me that if i dont move my car shes gong to call the sherrif on me. She threatened the grooms sister and wedding singer. who does that? wow. She also would not allow the AUnt that was in a wheelchair to be driven down this same long road. She was going to make the family have to push a wheel chair through sand instead of allowing them to just drive up this road to let her out close enought to get through. I dont understand what this womans prolem was and is but she upset alot of people in both the groom and brides family. the professionalism was a No for me. Thumbs down. She has short hair but i dont recall her name. id never recommend her to be in control of any important events.

The place used to be a golf course and it shows it’s not anymore. Rundown structure and a very small place on site for ceremony that would have had a nice view before but now all you see is weeds and a ugly chain link fence. Carpets need replacing in ball room and overall buildings need some tlc. Prices were high for a very poor ofering
