Michele and her crew were delightful. Our mutual was pleased with the pre-process and execution of the sale. The house was nearly emptied through a presale to existing clients and on the day of the sale with the crowd that showed up. Id recommend Caring Transitions of Desert Cities to anyone that wants a high level of service.

I hired the Caring Transitions franchise in my home town of Monrovia, CA to help me pack up for my move to Sun City Palm Desert, where another Caring Transitions franchisee was supposed to get me fully and quickly unpacked and set up in my new home. I wanted to pay for the privilege of having moving stress REDUCED. They advertise: We Offer A Total Stress-FreeRelocation & Downsizing Solution. We handle all of the details from start to finish.The opposite happened.Caring Transitions of Desert Cities only assigned ONE person to help me out with an unpacking job that took two people all day to pack up - and unpacking always takes longer, of course. She barely got through half the kitchen and left me with 39 still-packed boxes, and the best the company could do was offer to send two more people, two days later. NOT the service for which I had contracted. And until I got pretty firm in my emails and texts, franchise owner Michele McGregor couldnt even manage an apology and even then was clearly trying to avoid personal responsibility. She said miscommunication from the other franchisee about how much stuff I had was one cause - but the other franchisee clearly understood how much volume I had based on the number she assigned to help me pack up, so McGregors excuses dont pass the smell test.I scrambled and found a local professional organizer whos coming in to help me out instead. Cost more but at least the job will get done.If someone else avoids their own issues with Caring Transitions as a result of my review, at least Ill feel good about that.And heres an update. To my unpleasant surprise, the same person who had represented Caring Transitions to unpack me two days ago just returned for another days work. Apparently owner Michele McGregor never told her Id fired the company and so she came all the way here for nothing. I learned from her that this is common practice by McGregor so - buyer beware!Postscript: Ms. McGregor did, to her credit, ultimately do the right thing, acknowledge responsibility, and made appropriate written and financial amends.

Caring Transitions helped my family negotiate an industry fraught with scammers and crooks. We met with two other local estate sale companies who actually scammed us before we found Michele. She really was an angel. She helped guide us through a difficult situation, and navigated our delicate family dynamics with incredible kindness and understanding. Michele got things done, was always respectful of our family, and helped us to the finish line.. all while being a positive beam of sunshine every minute! She helped sort through 50 years of our parents stuff, staged the home beautifully, advertised everywhere, and on the day of sale kept things safe ( Covid protocols) and secure. She paid quickly and her staff was very professional.It was a hard few days, but she made all the difference. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you!

Michele cares! She always wants to do the right thing for her clients. She listens to each persons needs, makes suggestions, and will not sell services that clients dont need. I trust her implicitly to take care of the clients we refer to her. She is top-notch, responsive, professional, and always there when a client needs her.
