2015-12-29 21:20:08Are you looking to advance your IT career or perhaps looking to do something new during your career transition? New Horizons (NH) will help you get started on just that. The staff and resources have been always available when I need them and very helpful when it comes to your career plan and education. Personally, I have worked with my assigned Education Consultant (Lauren Lahn) and she has been doing a great job guiding me and accommodating my requests specific to my career goals in mind while a student here at NH. She will go the extra mile for you so that you come out of NH feeling good about your education and your new career prospects. The courses offered from NH can be taken online for the most part and are LIVE so that you can communicate with the Teacher from the comfort of your own home or from NHs campus classroom. Course availability is pretty flexible for the busy bee in mind. The content is structured so that they will prepare you for the certification exams or just basically learning a new IT skill for the workplace.Overall, New Horizons is a great place to kick start/advance your IT career. It is backed by leading IT Vendors that is widely used by most companies today. It has the staff and resources to do so. Its just up to YOU to make it happen.

2016-08-03 19:02:42If your employer is willing to pay for New Horizons ridiculously over-priced certificate programs, then go ahead and waste your boss money. But keep in mind a certificate doesnt hold a candle to an actual college degree and the job market is SWAMPED with people who have the same certification(s) you will get from here; thats why IT salaries are nowhere near what they used to be. If you are paying for the classes yourself, it is much wiser to put that money towards an actual Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science. That will make you far more marketable than some guy who took a three day class and got a certificate.

2015-11-17 14:36:53I went here as a test taker and not for classes. The receptionist knew how to handle it all smoothly. And got me into my test quickly. I will say that she seemed to be overwhelmed by the number of things going on with all the students. She knew how to handle it but the volume was tremendous.

2013-12-05 17:13:31I cannot get through on the phone. it takes over 30 seconds to connect and then the phone goes to a fast busy signal. My test date date is incorrect and they said to call immediately if my information is incorrect. HHMMMM???? Hopefully the phone problem is resolved soon!
