What a great experience! This facility is so clean. Staff is very kind and knowledgeable. They work quickly to get you registered and in to see a doctor. It is a seem less process. So glad we found this urgent care!

I went in a couple days ago as a last minute appointment and I can’t express how positive of a clinic experience it was! I was promptly taken to the back and seen by the doctor in a very kind and efficient manner. The whole staff was simply wonderful. Best urgent care clinic I have visited so far! 10/10 would recommend.

I didn’t have an appointment until the kind receptionist at Simi Carbon Health set up one for me at the Moorpark Carbon Health facility (since Simi was filled). I went to the Moorpark location and was immediately greeted with a warm smile. She let me know the room would be cleaned and ready within minutes of my appointment. She took care of my medical history and insurance coverage, sharing the co-pay information within minutes. I saw the doctor about 5 minutes of having my vitals checked. The doctor was easygoing, concerned, and professional. He diagnosed my ailment, offered options, and called in the medications to my pharmacy immediately. What an exceptional experience at this facility.

Online appt and check in was convenient. Reception was quick and easy and staff was very laid back yet attentive. PA Stevens took care to answer any questions to include treatment. Records and prescriptions are easily accessible through the Carbon app, very efficient!

Not all urgent care centers are alike. I have been to some that were abysmal - run down, lackluster staff. Not the case with Carbon. Every time I’ve needed them, they have been there to help in a kind, efficient and professional way. I have complete confidence in their care and highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough good about this organization and specifically this location. The warm welcome at the door followed by a clean and professional atmosphere inside the office. I’ve brought my infant here twice and saw a different provider both times and I was so impressed at the bedside manner and overall quality of care shown to my child and myself.The convenience of being able to see a provider who accepts Kaiser in town is something to be excited about!

So grateful for this urgent care! They accept walk ins, have lots of availability even early in the day and late in the afternoon. My MD went above and beyond with my care and really took the time to work with me to create a personalized health plan. The front desk was also kind, considerate, and discreet with helping me get an appointment. The office was clean and used a lot of up to date technology that made for a very efficient visit.

This was the cleanest, most modern and efficient Urgent Care I have ever experienced. First time patient check in process was less than 5 minutes, and then immediately taken back to a room (zero wait). Incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff. 100% would return, and honestly won’t go anywhere else moving forward if I can help it.

I went to Carbon Health because I was extremely sick, it was close and in network. When I got there they were fast and the doctor was good. However, a little over a month later, I got a bill for $893 and they charged my card an additional $262.15 without notice, nor was it on the bill I received. I had already paid my copay of $15, there should have been no other charges or bills. When I called my insurance provider (Anthem) they explained to me that although Carbon Health is in my network, the doctor they assigned to me opted out of my specific plan and I was then out of network. The doctor gave me no notice and I had no choice in the doctor I choose or knowledge that this doctor did not accept my specific plan. This is either a really disorganized company or they just dont care about their patients receiving over $1000 in medical bills they did not account for. To note, I have the top insurance that you can get with my partners organization, there isnt a better health plan than what I have, there should be no issues with doctors accepting my plan. I would look for other Urgent care facilities. Even if I can get this resolved, what a hassle you do not want to go through. Carbon health has an obligation to inform their patients that their doctor is not in their network and match them up with doctors that are in network. Or the doctors need to accept the same policies that the carbon health organization accepts so there is no confusion. Completely unacceptable and unethical. No wonder they are rated F on the BBB.

Probably the best urgent care experience I’ve had. They were prompt and very helpful. The facility was immaculate. And the care was top notch. They had me in and out within 30 minutes on a Friday. I was in town visiting family and this was the place that was recommended by my insurance. I can’t recommend them enough if you’re in need of prompt medical care.

Visited Carbon Urgent Care two days in a row. One time for me and the next day for my son. They took my insurance and asked me to pay a $25 copay which I did. Three weeks later, they blindly charged me $175 for each visit with no explanation. I called my insurance carrier and was told that even though the claim was submitted and approved, the doctor did not code it correctly so Anthem didnt pay it. Anthem fixed the issue on their end and got it paid. I now have $350 in charges I have to try and get back from Carbon Health. How is this ethical? You are supposed to send out a bill to a patient when insurance doesnt pay, like every other medical office. Check BBB for Carbon Health, they have an F rating and numerous complaints just like mine. I smell an organized network of scam providers.

We were immediately greeted by Casey the front desk receptionist who was extremely kind and professional. Marina the medical assistant walked us to the room and continued excellent care collecting vital signs and medical history. Both were extremely kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Liu quickly came to the room to take care of my son. He was very efficient and explained the procedure. He instantly put my son at ease and took care of him. He included detailed aftercare home instructions and follow up appointment advice. The entire team had excellent bedside manner. We defiantly will be using Carbon Health Urgent Care in Moorpark again when we are not able to get in with our Primary Care Provider. Big thank you to the entire team!!!

The process from check in to being seen by the doctor was seamless. The facility (Moorpark) was very clean and modern. It is a new facility but have visited another location (Simi Valley) that was not new and was very nice as well. The doctor that attended to me was exceptional. She took some quality time to examine me, listen to my complaints/symptoms and answered my questions ultimately offering a treatment plan that I was in agreement with.

My toddler had a red eye,i went to another urgent care here in Moorpark,they made me fill out the forms online and said there is 10 patients ahead of you so u can go home n we will call u. I came back home and waited for 4 hours but no call. So i decided to go to Carbon health,i filled out the online forms and the first available appointment was literally only 50 minutes later,i took the slot,went on time,did not have to wait even 1 minute. The front desk girl was very friendly,doctor saw us and we were in and out within 10 minutes. The doctor called me half n hour later to tell the test results himself.Im absolutely impressed by the quick and professional service and will b visiting this location whenever i need to. The office was super clean,uncluttered and very well designed.Wish all doctor offices were like this.Thanks carbon health.Keep up the good job

Wonderful experience with Carbon! I just discovered them in Moorpark. I needed a physical, labs, titers drawn for my nurse master’s degree preceptorship, so I made an appointment and got in later the same day. Very short waiting time and easy check in. Everyone was so friendly, very efficient, so clean, modern feel to the office, and my physical was so thorough. I’m leaving with a new PCP! Highly recommend Carbon. This is how it should be done!

Edit: I was very frustrated when I recieved my $270 bill for a first time visit, and my insurance covered none of it.I was very clear about my concern of the price and insurance with the front desk attendant, she kept assuring me it would all be figured out later “when the bill comes”. Dr Liu was awesome. Clean establishment and super helpful staff.I had only been to this establishment once before, when I was sick with the flu. This time I decided to come in for a routine physical as I could not see my primary until October 30th and had some concerns. I met with NP Greta Green, she was outstanding and super knowledgeable. The bonus is that I was able to have all blood work and urine analysis done on site. Super professional staff and the blood draw was also easy (I typically pass out and need to lay down. Lol)Having many family members in the medical field, but not in CA I’m am so thrilled to have found Greta with her bedside and genuine care for her patients.

I had a really bad infection in my leg and went to Carbon Health because it was the closest and my daughter had good experience there before. The office staff took really great of me. I feel like I was listened to, treatment options were discussed, all concerns listened to and addressed. I have had a couple of follow up visits and I have had great care at each one.

I have attempted to contact their billing department multiple times for a billing error. After speaking with my insurance provider, the entirety of the bill was covered, only to then receive a separate bill alleging $77 in additional costs that were not billed to my insurer. Their billing department phone number requires you to wait on hold for 15-20 mins only to be hung up on before speaking with anyone. Emailing the specific billing address also yields no response. I’ve never had an issue with Carbon Health before, but this is just ridiculous.Do not recommend going here if they are going to allege erroneous charges and refuse to provide any communication.

Wow. My daughter and I were searching for someplace to take our covid tests for a trip. She was stuck in an urgent care office for THREE HOURS, for a 15 minute test. I was at work, so I made an appointment online to what I thought was the same place as she went. THANK HEAVENS I MADE A MISTAKE!!!! I followed the directions to this wonderful site, was met by a beautiful receptionist who was super helpful, and within 5 minutes I was swabbed. Thanks to their app I could have left then, but I wanted the governmental report printed out for me, so I stuck around for another 10 minutes. The wonderful staff was helpful, patient, fast working, and pretty much great. I will be coming here from now on!

I was able to make an appointment in the app for an urgent care concern. The appointment time was 45 minutes from the time I looked up the app. I was able to fill out all of my information via the app, including health history and insurance information. When I arrived for my appointment, I gave the receptionist my name, she verified my ID and I sat down. I was about to take out my phone when the nurse called me back. The nurse too my BP pulse ox and temp and 1 minute (or less) later Dr. Liu came in. He reviewed my symptoms and we discussed treatment plan. RXs were sent to my pharmacy and visit information was sent to my phone all before I left the office. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The facility is clean and well organized. This was an amazing experience and I will definitely come back for any future urgent needs. I may even consider making this office my primary care provider.

My wife and I have been going to Carbon for almost a year - usually the Simi office although the Moorpark office is a tad closer and I always get in more quickly.Every time I’ve been, the staff has always been helpful, friendly, and the whole process of going has been easy!That’s something that isn’t always the case.Additionally, they have their own iOS app that is pretty cool. It looks better and has a better user experience than the large EHR apps (take notes, UCLA) and interaction within the app is a breeze!I’m seriously thinking about making them my primary.
