I purchased a silver necklace for a special pendant I wear daily. Hated it from day one because of a difficult clasp. After I had it OVER A YEAR and happen to tell them how unhappy I was, they insisted that I needed to be satisfied, whatever that would take. The manager spent time with me to help me choose another that would work out to my liking. Replaced, AT NO CHARGE and I walked out so grateful today!

I recently brought my white gold engagement ring and wedding band in and asked if it was possible to get them reset in 14k gold. The Caratti team was so helpful in figuring out the process and facilitating the change with the manufacturer. Alyssa consistently kept me updated throughout the duration of the process and I greatly appreciated her positive attitude and level of communication. Now I have the exact rings I was hoping for! If you need a jeweler, Caratti is the place to go.

I go to Caratti for ALL of my jewlery. Their selection of jewelry is always out of this world. Their entire staff is incredibly professional with their work and I cannot recommend them enough. I have had them resize some very tricky pieces, make custom pieces with loose stones, appraisals, and Colin has been doing my jewelry for over 25 years. They do complimentary cleaning and do a fabulous job doing so. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to whatever you may have a question to, and do a wonderful job explaining their knowledge to you. Highly recommend.

So glad to have found Caratti - they are incredibly warm and welcoming. I had a loose stone I wanted set in a white gold necklace. They took the time to find the right setting for the look I wanted, and even cleaned my rings while we looked through the book. I will be going to them for all of my jewelry work from now on! Don’t go to a big box jeweler, use a local, trustworthy jeweler like Caratti - it’s worth it!!

Every time I go in for cleanings, refurbishments, etc they treat my husband and I like royalty! Never any pressure to purchase and the staff is always offering to clean my jewelry, even items that were not purchased there! Not to mention every time I get any item of jewelry they cleaned for me there it looks better than when I first got it upon them returning it to me. Our family will continue to be long time customers of Caratti.

So, I gave my wedding ring to Caratti Jewelers for a simple resize, stressing not to mess with the sentimental engraving inside. Guess what? They completely ignored my request and wiped it out.Mistakes happen, I get it. But instead of owning up, they handed me a bill for $100 without even offering a free fix for their screw-up. Talk about adding insult to injury!Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of Caratti Jewelers. I wont be going back, and you shouldnt bother either. There are way better places out there that actually care about their customers. 👎

I inherited a gold charm bracelet from my mother that I just love, but it was too small for my wrist. The team at Caratti Jewelers figured out a way to add a beautiful extension that blended perfectly with the existing design. While doing that for me they also cleaned it to a beautiful new sheen and gave me a rough estimate of its value (which was much higher than I expected!). I had an injury to my ring finger which caused swelling. My wedding band was uncomfortably tight on my finger. I called up Caratti to see if they could help. I was told to come on down for them to look at it. When I got there, it was a no brainer. The ring needed to be cut off. I was sad but also in a bit of pain. The ring ring was carefully cut and removed by the owner. He took extra precautions to not cut me in the process. What a relief. We spoke about resizing and was told it would be a few days before it would be “put back together”. A few days later, it was fixed/resized/polished up. It look incredible and it fit perfectly. I had brought in a ring I already had and wanted the inside part to be engraved. I told them what i wanted even though the ring I have (tungsten carbide) is hard and semi-difficult for engraving. It WAS possible & it came out so perfect, they did a great job! $30 for 10 characters & $1 each additional you add to your order! I would highly recommend & they’re very kind!!

Members of my family and myself have been frequent customers to Caratti and have never been disappointed.In addition, Caratti stands behind their products and strive to ensure customers are pleased and happy with their purchases. About a year ago, I bought a new wedding band to replace my original wedding band at Caratti Jewelers. My original diamond was placed on the new band. Unfortunately, the small channel diamonds on the outer edge of the band were falling out and I was not pleased. While picking up my repaired ring, I looked through the other band options intending to eventually replace my “new” band since I was not happy with it. Colin, the owner, offered to exchange my band with one I was looking at for no additional cost. I was thrilled! Not only did Colin allow for a full exchange (swap), Caratti absorbed the additional cost of a new prong, sizing, and moving my diamond to the new band. My new ring is gorgeous! What was turning into a very unpleasant customer experience for me, was completely rectified by Caratti. As Colin stated, they want their customers happy and I am beyond happy with how Caratti handled the unfortunate situation and ensured I had a ring that I loved.Thank you to Colin and the amazing staff at Caratti Jewelers!!!

Came in as a return customer to have a Diamond bracelet repaired. The woman behind the counter, Karen Lewandowski, is the most disrespectful person I have ever met. After accusing me of having fake jewelry because I got a good price, she attempted to test the jewelry and was proven wrong. Shortly after, another ring was tested and the woman using it did not know how to use the tool. Avoid this place at all Costs if you have any respect for yourself or your jewelry. They will rip you off and disrespect you while doing it.

Amazing customer service! I bought a diamond a year ago from here, it somehow popped out of my setting last week. I went in and asked if there was some type of warranty, thinking that I would maybe get half my money back or a deal in another diamond but to my surprise they replaced the diamond AT NO CHARGE. I purchased my wedding ring here a few years back for 7k, they also appraised it there at 8k the center stone being just over 5k. Last year I went in to upgrade my center stone. I chose a loose diamond that was 11k. I assumed since I purchased my old diamond there and they appraised it there and I was upgrading to a stone worth more than double the cost of my old one that I would at least get credit for the purchase price of the original stone. To my surprise I was only offered 3k for my stone. I felt swindled! I am a believer in supporting local businesses and I was in love with the stone so i went ahead and upgraded my ring. It is gorgeous and honestly the store itself is a great place with great people. I just think I was not given fair credit my diamond. All jewelers Ive contacted give full credit when upgrading to a diamond worth 50% or more of original price, I was upgrading to a diamond worth over 100% of the original price. If not for that I would give 5 stats they are a great business and the people are wonderful.

I went here because of the positive reviews but didn’t expect to be so blown away by the great service. They were swamped, but still acknowledged every customer and let them know they’d be right there. As basic as that sounds, it’s so important and it’s the first sign that customer service is important to them.While I was waiting for my watch to be resized I was second guessing one of the chains I had picked out and I was offered help by another rep. She helped me order the style I wanted and had my ring cleaned and inspected as long as I was waiting. I was waiting awhile, because I told the rep who was resizing to take the links from the wrong side. Completely my fault, but she redid her work with just a friendly chuckle.I appreciate the jewelers attention to detail as he found one loose smaller stone, and one of the prongs on the main diamond was just barely on the corner. He showed me with his magnifier the difference between the prongs that were correct and the one that was apparently bent or worn down.I will definitely be back. The three staff I dealt with were the most knowledgeable and helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with at a jewelry store. I also appreciated that they didn’t seem to scoff at wanting to repair some sentimental jewelry from my grandma that isn’t valuable. Just genuinely nice people. Thank you!

Why go elsewhere when the pros do it so quickly and so cheaply?I currently have a five-year old quartz chronograph in the shop for a seals check due to condensation. The quoted price is $180 but may change based on what needs to be done. It will be finished in 6-8 weeks, Im told, so hopefully I remember to update my review when the time comes.

My goal was to replace a chain I recently lost as well as upgrade it to gold. This would be my largest jewelry purchase to date and I knew that I wanted to shop secondhand and support local. I went in looking for estate pieces but unfortunately, they were not showing any at the time. The jeweler kindly went to the back and pulled about 100 different chains matching my description from their estate selection. He patiently went through them with me until I found what I was looking for. After he quoted the piece, I decided I needed time to think it over. They placed it on hold for me and provided all the specs so I could do some more research online. A few days later, I talked with a very kind and friendly sales associate, Alyssa, who felt as though I was talking with a friend I had known for quite some time. After I shared that the price wasn’t within my budget, she talked with the jeweler and they were able to hit my target price. I went in to try on the chain one more time and felt great giving my business to a local store especially after the second warm welcome I received. Alyssa took the other jewelry I was wearing to clean and check any prongs and left me with a cleaning kit of my own. While I waited and browsed, I never felt pressured to make a purchase and the associates were sweet with compliments. One associate had a favorite ring and simply asked if she could see it on me. Admittedly, she knew it wasn’t my style, but she hadn’t seen it on someone’s hand whom it fit yet and thought my hand might have the right proportions. All around, it was a very enjoyable experience and the staff was knowledgeable, especially the jeweler (70 years in business!). Next time I am looking for a new piece, I will be sure to be at their next estate event.

Love my local neighborhood jeweler! They have a great inventory of estate jewelry, as well as a selection of modern trending styles. They recently did a wonderful restoration of a diamond ring that was in sore disrepair with broken prongs and oxidation. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was when I came to pick it up. I went to Caratti Jewelers to support a local business in downtown Livermore, CA. I wanted to get a couple of custom pendants made with diamonds put into them. I worked with Alyssa on designing and getting the pendants done. Alyssa was a pleasure to work with. She was keeping me informed throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend using Caratti Jewelers and working with Alyssa. This young lady was on hit in every aspect of the project!!! I had my husband to change the battery on a watch of mine. However, I had several pearl necklaces that needed to be restrung. They did an excellent job and the price was fair considering the amount of work that needed to be done. If you have any pearl necklaces that need attention, you don’t have to go to San Francisco to have them restrung.

This was a remarkable experience with Caratti! The center diamond in my engagement band was unfortunately broken out of the setting recently. I was fortunate to find the diamond itself on the floor, however, I wasn’t sure where to bring my rings to be repaired. We originally worked with a family jeweler in San Diego who is no longer around. I had seen Caratti in downtown Livermore previously, and upon reading the reviews felt confident about going in to discuss my options with Caratti. I smashed my hand in a door and my wedding set got got bent into a tight oval on my finger. My husband used a hammer to knock the rings back into a shape that could be removed from my finger and the poor rings were very damaged. This happened on a Sunday, I learned that if it had happened on a day the store was open that I could have gone in and theyd carefully cut the rings off... so that information is saved just in case! One of the stones was knocked out, 20 more were lossened, and there were dents and scratches everywhere. A week later I got my wedding set back as good as new, all put back together, cleaned, and sparkling. Im so very happy with service. The staff is also very kind and helpful. He drilled new backs for some handmade earrings I bought from an artist in Switzerland. The posts are much thicker than most earrings nowadays. And I couldnt find backs anywhere. I brought my family crest ring in that had a piece missing out of the band. According to the family book the ring was from the early 1700s and crafted in Germany. Anyone that knows anything about precious metals knows that, we, here in the U.S. tend to sway to the .925 side of silver and the Europe is more of a 95% silver content for crafting.....short story long here guys lol. I had a previous person 15 years ago tell me he could fix it....he totally destroyed the band. .925 melts at a different rate than 95 So, it sat until a woman metiond Caratti Jewelers. The Jeweler I spoke with guranteed he could fix it and would include an appraisal based on material, not age 3 weeks go by and I receive a phone call that its ready....I was AMAZED at the level of craftsmanship!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ANY REPAIR WORK!!
