Using this site is quick and easy. I had my new registration within 3 days. Yes, I could have gotten it quicker at the DMV., but that would have involved traffic getting to and from their offices, waiting at least an hour for my number to be called while sitting in some very uncomfortable chairs, bureaucracy, then traffic to get back home. The site was quick, easy, and secure while I was seated comfortably in front of my computer. Much more pleasant experience.

*My transaction was canceled upon request. However, my opinion stated below remains the same. Until the customer is afforded options to manage their order (other than submitting payment) within the user interface, I will continue to hold the opinion that the interface is misleading and deceptive.Though this company does not claim to be the Department of Motor Vehicles, the logo and color scheme of their website is suspiciously similar to that of the California DMV. Upon placing my order, I realized that I was not actually placing the order with the Department of Motor Vehicles. I attempted to call and email the company to cancel my order since they conveniently DO NOT PROVIDE this option on their web interface. In my opinion, this is an attempt to deceive the customer. In my opinion their tactics are predatory at most, and at the very least an attempt to provide barriers to the customer having control over their orders. Do better Greg Sanders and the entire team at Car Registration, Inc.

When the company threatens to not give you your car registration when you dont want to pay extra for mail insurance. I have a problem with that. The service fee is also beyond expensive. This company exploits you for every penny. Try to avoid at all costs.

I mistakenly thought that this Car Registration (organization) was an official part of DMV! I went to the local DMV office on a Friday and that was my first mistake. There were two slowly-moving long lines: one of which was for handicapped folks like me. There were 11-12 people ahead of me. Because I can’t stand very long, and there are no chairs to sit in while in line, I decided to go home and register by mail.So I went to the DMV website online and ordered my registration. I must have misread something there because after filling out the paperwork, I then paid what I thought was the DMV’s fee for this registration service. That was a very costly mistake on my part, i.e., around $80 if I recall correctly!So don’t go to the DMV on Fridays, and then make sure that if you go online, you carefully read all the instructions to make sure that you are dealing directly with the DMV and not make the same mistake that I did.

The DMV lost my renewal form and my check for the second time in 2 years - and for the second time in 2 years, I had to pay my bank for a cancelled check. The DMV is hopeless.In contrast, your service person (I cant remember her name) was excellent: I was unfamiliar with your services, and she explained them to me and listed my options.I decided to go with you, as time was running out on my registration. I do not recommend this company. You’re paying $35 extra for services that can be done through the DMV website for free.I processed my registration renewal, thinking this site was an external payment link used by the DMV. It’s not. I sent 2 emails and called the company to cancel my order. They were able to process my order in record speed, so fast they could not cancel it but unable to answer my emails to the support team. When I finally spoke to a customer service personnel, she stated she’d refund the service fee this time and will send an email confirmation. The email confirmation and refund never came. Caution to future customers - this is not the DMV. Make sure you have the correct site before processing your payment.

This is a phenomenal service. I needed to review my California registration but had moved to Pennsylvania. Without Car Registration, Inc., I would have had to appear in person at a California DMV and even then, there are often issues with having to return another day. Awesome experience with the car registration. I would recommed it to anyone. When I did not hear from them for two weeks after the payment I did call the to the number provided to me in the email. The staff was very helpful. She asked me to wait for another week to get my sticker and the registration paper. Third time Ive used this business. The whole purpose is to make DMV transactions easy - I do not want to waste my day waiting to be called up to a disgruntled DMV employee.For a reasonable, fully disclosed fee, transactions are taken care of quickly and professionally. Ive taken care of late registration, title transfer, and most recently, plate replacement. This last transaction, plate replacement, started on the phone on my way home. I picked up my plates 15 minutes later!Yes, they are not THE official DMV, they are a business taking the pain out of DMV transactions. This is made very clear. I was amazed! They offered a few options including a full refund. The woman on the phone was incredibly friendly and helpful. This was some of the best customer service I have ever received. Car Registration offers a convenient and well-designed website to enter the necessary information. The follow-up by staff was amazing, particularly since the Post Office lost my registration documents twice! (Yes, that is the truth.) Simple to do online saved me a lot of time & gas. We live 20 minutes away from the nearest dmv, & would’ve had to drive another 20 minutes for childcare. You’re given several options for them to get mailed to you, we got ours in 2 days you can even get them within the next day. Beats waiting in line & wasting almost 2 hrs just on the drive plus the waiting time at the DMV.

I found this by accident. I wanted to go directly to the DMV web site, and instead clicked the wrong link.I give it three stars, because the web site is somewhat misleading. It looks like the official DMV web site.The web site is fine, though. It is very easy to use, and for that ease, you will pay a premium. So if you plan to pay your registration, just take the time and make sure you are on the right page if you want to avoid the huge fees this service tacks on.

My registration was due in May, and I know that because of the pandemic The DMV would be backed up so I decided to pay/order my new registration a month in advance, however even after taking a precaution and paid for express delivery I have to wait over two months to get my new stickers. Like I said, I knew that the DMV would be backed up. However, I tried contacting the DMV multiple times by email to request a follow up on my order but would never receive a response. So, this service is seamless. I abhor standing in line or sitting on a hard chair for hours at the DMV. I registered 2 vehicles, one with a title change, and never left my iPad on my desk. The service works well. Even if you choose regular U.S. mail to receive your registration it only takes about a week to arrive. The biggest downside is it costs an extra $30+ compared to going to the DMV yourself to pay for your registration yourself in person but it does save you a lot of time from having to stand in line.

Well, these folks make their website look like the dmv’s. I paid a substantial fee on top of my regular dmv fees. I did not realize this was a 3rd party service. I’m extremely busy working full time and also have a retail business so I didn’t pay close attention. You can go directly to the dmv website and pay your fees without having to pay these people their outrageous fees. With California dmv fees already expensive this is the last thing people need. Misleading ! I Googled California DMV and the top listing was this BS poser site. I was charged $30 more for my registration for various service charges than necessary. It worked, but its a $60 mistake. I thought I was registering with the DMV. Their site comes up on a search and Im sure Im not the only one taken advantage of. But it did register and they got money... Read things carefully, they appear to try to look like the DMV which serves them well. It serves you in getting it within a week, but not terribly forth-coming. I think a lot of people would go directly to the DMV if they realized they werent there. I should have checked the link.
