Nice prices on playstation 4 games and once in awhile I get a loan on my PlayStation and they take real good care of it so if you do get a loan on your property just make sure you keep your receipt

Dont believe what they tell you on the phone, or in store sometimes. One said they take something, I called later and someone else says they take the same things. I ride miles there and they tell me they dont take them. Guy says another place that will, but it definitely doesnt - had already been there.

Great service and friendly. They have earned my trust and respect for many years now. I have left a large variety and number of tools when in need of some quick cash and have never had a problem retrieving them when I needed them or when I had the extra cash to go pay off my loans. SOME of the employees, preferably the younger looking Hispanic or Arabian supervisor that still wears his covid mask on his 2 years after the pandemic ended has a power trip that he needs to check. IDenying a loyal customer that comes in damn near twice a week because he did it have his ID is not good business. Yet, most of his employees know me by name. He knows who I am. He knows that i am (or was) a loyal customer, coming in two to three times a week for the past year now. I’ve done a ton of business with these guys and for him to turn down my business due to an ID speaks volumesAbout what kind of individual he is. I mean, I get it. It’s the only thing he has in his life. Those 8 hours when he gets to have some kind of say in anything. It’s called a power trip. And the funny thing about those kinds of people is that when his 8 hours is up and his “power” is taken from him he’s just a fat miserable p.o.s. I can’t wait for the day when I see him out if his little cocoon. I hope he reads this too. Because he knows who I am and he knows how much I intimidate him……. Take that mask off too. The workers and friendly and helpful enough however the options inside to pick from are incredibly lacking. When I was there I saw a heater, TVs, keyboards, power tools, guitars, board games, some rings, and video games. Not exactly a satisfactory amount of things to buy that Ive seen at other pawn shops, it honestly was more like a garage sale than anything. We didnt sell anything so I cant speak on their prices for that but I hope its better than the buy option

I started coming here when my prior pawn shop was consolidated and combined into Capital City. Ive experienced nothing but exemplary service; Theyve granted me extensions when Ive needed it, and have always been understanding. Ive dealt with nearly everyone here but Doug is incredibly helpful! I highly recommend this shop for both pawning and shopping. They also play great music in the store :)

Pawn shop is a complete joke they undervalued things to the max brought in a perfect condition Samsung Galaxy smartwatch 4 and the guy try to tell me that there isnt much information on them and theyre not that popular and that the best you could do is $20 for a $280 watch that sells for at least close to $100 on eBay did he has no idea what hes talking about hes just going to rip people off I would not recommend this pawn shop in the joke its not even funny

Lady i spoke to was nice. By my god the pricing here, talk about a lowball. I brought an item in that retails over 400 brand new, i brought mine in with additional accessories, she brought up a listing of a the same bow a guy was selling for 170, and then she went even lower than that, saying shed only pay 30-40% of the 170 price. Why dont you guys at least pay 30-40 of the actual retail price. Spent over 400 on the thing and she wanted something under 100. Just seemed like i was lowballed hard dropping the price lower and lower.

For the most part, a great place to find music equipment, electronics and everything else. My rating is based on the shopping experience overall.My main issue was the way I was treated when returning something I believed to be defective. The best pawn and loan place in Sacramento! These guys are great, fair prices, super friendly and work with you when repaying your loan. I was $1 short one time on my loan payment and one of the employees actually pulled his own wallet out and paid the $1 so I wouldnt lose my items. We cant thank them enough for all there help. Ive bought several tvs, Beats Pill and computers to name a few, everything is still working over 2-3 years later. Great prices and sales(55inch tv under 150). They give you a 3 day warranty so go home and use the item like crazy!!The staff is amazing. Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Ive continuously had great experiences.

The guy offered me a $20 loan for a dyson vaccum I declined.It was so ridiculous I had to comment on a review. It clearly was a bad deal. Im sure he did what he did just because he felt like it. Then again pawnshops have a thing were they hire people who arent the sharpest tools in the shed. Just a bad experience.

I had several guitars stolen from me and ended up seeing them on craigslist. I called the owner and talk to him in identify the guitar to an infinite degree. He told me that he bought them and he did not have to give them back being ignorant of the law I accepted his word as it was. And he lied to me. this phone shop is Shady and questionable and I would not buy anything from them because you dont know if it is stolen or not. and yes I did file a police report and yes they were mine and I can prove it. But its too late. again I would question anything I purchased from the store this guy is crooked.

Great for 5 years then they said they mailed a notice that I didnt get would not give proof when I asked. With everything available to them why take my grandmothers necklace it was only worth anything to me Dont leave it if it means anything to you at all you may never see it again and then they wont even help figure out what happened. That a great way to treat 5 year plus customers. There are better and more trusted pawn shops in Sacramento.

I used to really enjoy coming in here I used to pawn a bunch of stuff at this location with no issues and problems. The customer service here is terrible I had a Apple Watch here less then 2 months I got offered 100 which was cool for the price took less 75 I had another watch got offered 50. Didn’t take my loan history in account like most pawn places do. After I get my items out I’ll be finding another place to loan. The experience was not welcoming I dealt with Sam 2 times both have no been welcoming at all and he don’t seem like he know what he doing me ex me spending 20-45 mins there to get lowballed as well quoting me GameStop trade in prices for a game that just came out. But I rarely give bad ratings but when I do they dropped the ball

So I was late on my payment by two weeks, today is my birthday, I have no money behind on bills....but there’s a guy in there named Paul who helped me out BIG time. Gave me a little more time to pay back my loans (I have ALOT) plus gave the kids popcorn (they have a cool popcorn machine inside lol) he really made the extra an awesome one, so thankful now I can enjoy my birthday with peace of mind!!!! Love all the guys but Paul takes the cake today!!!!!! Thanks!!

These guys are fair and helpful. I imagine that working at a pawn shop thats in a neighborhood like this one is difficult to say the least. These guys manage to remain calm and professional in high stress situations and are even friendly and caring under normal circumstances. Capital City Loan & Jewelry has become my new store for electronics and jewelry. Theres always specials and plus you could layaway anything for little of nothing. Merchandise is quality and mostly new. Theres even an insurance option. The staff is, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Love this place, suits all my purposes.

Ive come here several times trying to sell and pawn items, and they are the most unreasonable, and unknowledgeble people.. and every single employee Ive delt with here were complete douchebags. THE WORST customer service Ive experienced, they cant talk to you without trying to talk down to you, its embarrassing. Ive had 100% better luck with neighbouring pawn shops

I was recently there to sell a couple drills and a quality shop light along with an xbox 360 network adapter the guy said all of it was worthless to him I offered 5 dollars for everything! He simply said theres other brands that are better, obviously he didnt want to make a profit the shop light alone is worth 5 dollars even more!

All anyone can ask for from a pawn shop is fairness. These guys are more than fair. Anytime I have lost pawned items by not paying on time, or defaulting on the loan, they did everything possible to help me recover my property. No penalties. No late fee. They just let me pay the interest as if I was on time. As long as they still had my stuff somewhere, I could get it back.Pretty cool!Thanks Cap City!

I dont think ive ever been so insulted before, the young man that initally helped me was actully really cool. My son and i went in today hoping to sell a couole of peices of jelwery that we bought from the thrift store.. it was an antique pearl neckless the clasp silcer color with 7 diamonds ..(not very big but they where diamonds)in the center of tge neckless was a peice about 3 to 4 grams of what i thought was gold.. i ask the young fellow ti please test . As he proceeded to make that confirmation, his manager came out .. paul is his name .. paul said it was junk and didnt want to test .. i ask him why and he said ive been doing this for 20 or 30 yrs.. i felt he was wrong .. so i left and got a second opinion .. it infact was 18 kt gold.. and diamonds .. (shows how much PAul learned after so many years .. ) what an idiot!! I went back and had them test it for themselfs and i ended up selling it for 200 bucks to another place..

If you need a quick buck for a loan come to them but just know that you will get shorted for the value they look on amazon for price matching and we all know amazon has knock off everything so something that is worth maybe 2000 you will only get a 40 dollar loan. for purchases they are reasonable and have alot of deals.
