We brought Matt & his team in to assist with cleaning up the books for many years past (which was not an easy ask). I would not recommend this service, so many errors, little thought, no asking would this make sense, blind categorization and BIG mess to clean up. Incorrect use of quickbooks, had to send youtube video on how to use quickbooks to the bookkeeper for specific tasks that she did only half way. When pushing her to correct the errors, she deferred saying that month was already closed so it would be too much work. All that plus disrespectful attitude to go along with it.As a small business owner, I was looking for someone to take this activity off my plate so that I could focus on making decisions with accurate data instead of data entry and learning how to become a bookeeper - working with CapForge was a fail on this. Unless you really dont care about accurate books and plan to have your accountant fix everything at tax time, I wouldnt recommend this service.When I signed up, I discussed with the sales person that I wanted to work with an experienced group because I was not an expert at bookkeeping and he pointed me to the google reviews saying look at how many 5 star reviews we have. However, it seems like they mostly work with ecommerce Amazon sellers - so buyer beware.

I switched to CapForge over a year ago because I needed better accounting. My former bookkeeper was doing cash accounting while I needed accrual. This service is way better as there is a whole team behind that works well together. Not to mention that I get it for only 20% extra the cost compared to my former bookkeeper and Id say it is totally worth it.The team is professional and they know their job. Their support is also top notch. Tamsin, the person I am in contact with, is replying my email in max 24 hours and shes finishing the books by 10th of the following month. Overall, lazy work and poor systems. Staff lacked knowledge, motivation and problem solving skills. Discovered many data and categorization errors each month, brought it to the attention of management, no improvement. Final straw was; they suggested we write off a significant amount of inventory value because they couldnt figure out where it was. Only after we pushed back they discovered their onboarding team had forgot to imput the correct opening inventory amounts.1 year of Bookkeeping services with this company and it was an absolute mess to clean up at year end filing.Waste of time and money, seek out an alternative service.

My experience with Capforge was initially wonderful. Many months of stellar service. And then tax time came. Me and 2 of my buddies noticed our books and P&L were just absolutely not matching up with our other tracking soft-wares. We each left capforge and found another service just to find out capforge book keepers are absolute dog doo doo. One of us was reporting a $63k loss, when in actuality it was only $1k. I also showed negative on my P&L, after having a second opinion by another service we found out that was absolutely incorrect.The book keepers at capforge cannot be trusted and are insanely over priced.
