Had my order shipped to their showroom and set up as a part of the new bike day delivery. This was the best choice I ever made. I worked with Matt S. who went above and beyond to make this one of the best experiences I’ve ever had when it comes to shopping. We covered all the bases, he answered all my questions, (there were a ton as this is my first real bike of this caliber) and was just an all around awesome guy to talk to and bounce questions off of. Made sure the fit was right, helped with my gear, and checked on my form when I went to test it outside. The whole team there made it a welcoming and exciting day and truly one I’ll remember for a long time to come. Thank you all for being the best, I’ll know where to head to when I find it’s time for an upgrade! 🫶🏻

Questionable quality control and a total lack of accountability. My canyon spectral frame cracked at the weld after only a couple years of normal use. Initially warrantied, but they didnt have all the necessary parts. After 6 months of repeated promises, excuses, and escalations, they give me a 20% discount voucher and tell me I have to buy a complete new bike. Instead of replacing a single defective seat-stay, theyre asking me to give them another $3000... great. Also, 20% is a joke -- much nicer bikes are going for >40% off from major retailers this season.I gave up and bought a better bike from a local manufacturer.

This had to be the best experience I ever had purchasing something. The new bike day was way better than I thought it would be. The staff is super friendly and the technician was very friendly and met every need and some I would highly recommend anybody to do bike day if you purchase. It’s like they treat you like a celebrity.

The bike has been great but Canyon has some of the slowest, worst customer support for ordering parts…been trying to simply order 2-3 small parts for my wife’s bike for over 2 weeks now. Emailed several times back and forth, multiple days/almost a week response time between emails from the company. Called today and have been on hold for nearly 30 minutes and still no resolution.

A great opportunity to see most of Canyons latest bikes. They also have a lot of bikes for test rides, but in limited sizes. Some are outdated models. Knowledgeable staff. Some variety of terrain on their test drive course, but no steep climbs, and no rocks or gravel. Not perfect, but a really good opportunity to get close to your bike before making a purchase. You have to purchase online and the bike must be delivered to your home. This is a demo site with no sales or service capability. (The photos are of the size Small Grail:ON 8 Demo Ride Bike, perhaps an XS Grail Demo Ride Bikes (with no motor), and the lighter-colored Grail:ON Display Bike.

Just got the new Torque on E bike CF 8. Wow what a bike. Best e bike on the market. The only E bike I have seen that is like a DH bike. The geometry is way ahead of everything else. The design and engineering is so good. So much thought was put into this bike. You can scale Mt Everest with this thing and it is a DH bike on the way down. Brilliant spec too. I really like the support and service here. Love Luis in the Carlsbad office. I have fallen in love with this beast and can not wait to take it to Northstar this summer. Thank you canyon.

This is my second purchase of a Canyon e-mtb. I didnt have the opportunity to contact customer service on this one, but the bike was shipped complete and packaged perfectly. Customer service and the management team were great on my first purchase.These bikes are incredible. I purchased the Spectral ON CF-7 in light gray and just love it. Very playful, perfect size with extra room in the cockpit, great components. All e-mtbs are heavy, so the Canyon is equal to the competitors with 51 pounds. The Shimano motor is powerful and great - no rattling as reported by others. I used 16% of my battery in 10 miles mostly on Eco with a little trail mode and a boost of Boost, so I think the range is really good.I commute to work 10 miles one way and had no issues riding this bike this morning with snow and ice on the ground and some mud. Still made it in 45 minutes.Thank you for your great work, Canyon. Kudos to the build team, logistics handling, carriers, etc for bringing me the perfect bike.

I love my Grail. It’s a great bike, fun to ride and fast.The wheels don’t come setup tubeless. However, while doing the conversion, I realized that now I have two nice new tubes for that rare “oh no I punked and the orange stuff didn’t save me and the bacon popped out so I guess I gotta tube” moments. They happen. They are real, so it’s nice to know that Canyon are forward thinking.I wish there were mounting bolts on the top tube to run and bag…Anyway, this is my second Canyon and I’ve always been taken care of by the company when things go rubber side up. Get a Canyon.

I purchased the Grail 7 1by. The packaging was excellent and the bike arrived well-protected - not a mark on any part when I unboxed it. The included material and tools were all top notch. It took me about 45 minutes from opening the box to riding it. The price to performance ratio on this is just about unbeatable.

What a disappointment. I have brand new Canyon bicycle with fewer than 50 miles on it, and they wont let me return it per their supposedly friendly return policy. Watch out! I spoke to their customer service rep on the phone trying to work out how the bike just didnt quite fit (handlebars felt too wide, bicycle felt clunky, seat felt too far back). I wanted to do them a good one and try to work out a solution rather than jumping to just immediately returning the bike and wasting all that shipping back and forth and carbon footprint. Sometimes 30 days creates a tight schedule to work through issues like this, between shipping time to me, building the bike, doing the tests, bad weather, and trying to adjust parts. I described this on the phone and was assured that because I was in touch within 30 days about the problem, that they would work with me.Well watch out! I just couldnt figure out a solution so then I tried to do the return, which I had strenuously tried to avoid. But no, they said no chance. I even offered to do a return for store credit and I would buy a more expensive bike. Sounds like a win for Canyon, right? But no again.What a disappointing experience. I have a brand new bike (fewer than 50 miles) and their best advice was to go and sell out. Seriously??? Thats why they have a return policy. Its so frustrating when you try to be a good, problem-solving customer and then they go back on their word and hang you out to dry.Im posting this review in the hopes that I get their attention and maybe Canyon will help me fix this problem. Will delete review if they do—I really think theyre better than this. Fingers crossed that we can work together on a solution. Thanks!

Canyon appears to be discriminatory against women based on it being near-impossible to order a higher-end bike in smaller size (only seem to ever have M-2XL stocked, only more basic models are ever in stock in smaller sizes), and based on the interaction I had when I went in looking for a new road bike.I was interested in the Canyon Aeroroad CFR eTap in the Canyon-SRAM Replica color. It was on display in size XL. I said I was interested in that bike. The sales associate said “No, it’s not for sale. It was in the Tour (de France)”. Obviously I didnt want to try THAT bike that is five sizes too big for me. I asked if I could demo one in my size. Was told no. I asked if it was available online in my size to purchase, and again it was repeated that the bike wasn’t available for sale, and implied this was some special display and was one-of-a-kind. Turns out, this is false. You can order that bike online. At one point, I probably could have purchased it in my size. Except I was given incorrect information and now the smaller sizes are “sold out” and not being re-stocked. I’m doubting Canyon even bothers manufacturing all bikes in all sizes. Seems like Canyon has its niche is the stereotypical 5’10”-6’4” male cyclist and can’t be bothered supplying bikes or providing basic customer service for the rest of us.

Finally visited Canyon Demo Center in Carlsbad, CA. Nate H. was super helpful during our visit. It was great to talk to somebody who was so knowledgeable - someone who actually rides- without feeling overwhelmed in the space. Low pressure. It’s a solid bike. Packed well for the most part. Disappointed that I didn’t receive it in time for a bike trip I had planned(even though it was promised by FedEx). This was a total bummer because I could have gotten my very close second choice bike from a shop but went with the Spectral because I was a tiny bit cheaper and could get it in time for my trip. Once I got the bike built, I noticed the thick cellophane type wrapping put scratches in the glossy top tube during transport. I contacted Canyon customer service with my complaint and got an offer to try to make it better. It was not that great of an offer so I requested some Canyon swag on top of the offer like a shirt and hat but I haven’t heard back on that yet. Not sure if I will go “factory direct” again after this🤷🏻‍♂️

I bought my first proper road bike from Canyon, an Endurance CF eTAP 7, from the Canyon Outlet and have fallen in love with cycling again. Excellent experience with Canyon; bike came partially assembled, and was able to put it together fully myself with included tools in about 45 min for a test ride. Good experience with the support chat too, got some tips on adding a power meter that wasnt included on this particular model. I have logged a few 100 miles of my fastest ever miles so far and signed up for my first GranFondo in a few months time. I highly recommend Canyon for their outstanding bikes, quality/price, and solid buying experience.

Ordered a Canyon Grail AL 7 recently and am very happy with it. It was in stock and shipped quickly. I received it within a week and a half of ordering. I have experience working on bikes and it was very easy to assemble. They provided all the necessary tools. After some small tweaks to the drivetrain and brakes (could have easily been affected by shipping) I was ready to roll. Have taken the bike on several rides and it is the nicest bike I’ve ever owned. I’m amazed at how quiet it is. I definitely recommend Canyon. The only thing I wish is they offered standard black paint jobs on all bike models. I have the tan color and it is a nice color but dirt shows easily.

I Ordered a Grail AL 6, Whoever your packer/warehouse person is, buy them a beer on me. I ordered my bike at 10am on Tuesday, It shipped that night and arrived at my house by noon on Wednesday. I was fully expecting to wait a week or more but oh man am I stoked that it actually got here before my Birthday. Packaging was great, bike was flawless overall, my derailleurs are out of whack and need adjusting but I wont dock a star for that, I like tinkering and setting things up myself. Solid Bike, Im in love so far, looking to get a ton of miles in this weekend, bike definitely looks a bit more yellow in person and way yellow in photos vs what the website shows but its bitchin either way.

Only gripe about it was they gave me a tracking number and said that it’ll be delivered on a certain day but the bike didn’t arrive and when I’ve checked the tracking later that day it only says updating. And it can be hit and miss on in-stock items, and even website says that my bike will be in stock at being of September, I was keep checking inventory and at begging of July it appears that 4 in stock. So I bought one have it from FedEx in less then a week. Very happy with a purchase! So basically you need to have passion and check inventory every day.

Great purchasing experience from Canyon and so far the bike is awesome.Bikes are hard to get right now so I signed up for an email alert to notify me when the bike I wanted came in stock. I got the alert and was easily able to make the purchase. The bike was shipped within 2 days and FedEx delivered it on time and without any shipping damage.The bike itself is so far pretty awesome. Grizl 7 AL. Ive got about 120 miles on it, longest ride was 40 miles of mixed gravel, single, and doubletrack. Comfy saddle, great drivetrain, plenty of mounting points.

My new Canyon Exceed is a beautiful mountain bike and I am loving it. I am not mechanically inclined but was able to assemble it in a couple of hours. The bike came with four manuals and using a combination of these I was able to figure out how to complete the assembly. One tip I have for others is to not be stingy with the assembly paste. Initially I did not put enough of it on the seat post and ended up with a grinding noise that I eventually identified and fixed by removing the seat post and applying a liberal amount of the assembly paste.

The purchase process was great, I signed up for notification when the bike I wanted was available and purchased one of the three available bikes right away.The 4 star rating has to do with packing and shipping. The bike was shipped via FedEx, who confirmed a delivery date then missed it by three days. Those three days cost me the chance to build and ride the bike on arrival. So it now sits in storage, in the box, for a month until I get back.In general the factory boxing was really great (again I have not actually had the bike out of the box yet). Great care seems to have been given the package design. There was one miscalculation in the design; there are three boxes of parts that ship on top of the bike. The box packed at the front of the bike sat on the carbon top tube. The top tube is covered with a protective plastic film; however, it stops short of the cockpit. The box rubbed on the front end of the top tub and now there is wear mark embedded in the carbon. Canyon was slow to respond (about a week) to my concern but did offer to refund the shipping cost plus a very small amount of the purchase price (about 1%). They were also unable to offer any suggestions to remove or lessen the appearance of the wear mark.I appreciated the refund but would really rather have had an undamaged bike (to be fair I did not pursue a return/refund. The late delivery did not allow me to return within the specified timeframe and I dont really want to wait for another bike to become available).Im sure Im going to love this bike, but I will always look down at that top tube and dislike the mark.Hopefully I find some great new riding and be to distracted to notice it.

I purchased Aeroad CF SLX 8 Disc Di2 on Nov 3, 2020. The design of seat post and aerobars have some issues, so I followed their instruction to send the bike back for a rework. However I just received my bike back today(Feb. 25, 2022) and found the front fork of the bike is damaged and handlebar is scratched because their poor quality of rework. This damage is more serious than the seat post and aerobars issues. I am still waiting for their reply how Canyon USA will deal with this case. But that is really a bad experience.

Build quality and design are up there (and often exceed) other big bicycle brands. What sets Canyon apart is the customer service. I made one call while assembling the bike and there was no wait, the rep was patient and knowledgeable and solved my issue with clear instructions. I love my local bike shop, but Canyon let me enjoy building my own bike in my PJs. For me, its the right company to work with, because I love the design, I want high quality, and I love bikes and enjoy working on them. Keep up the good work Canyon, keep supporting your customers!

On the recommendation of several friends who are also cyclists, I ordered a Canyon Endurace 7.0 carbon framed bike to replace a 10 year old aluminum framed bike from another brand. It arrived in about 1 week (much faster than expected). The packaging was great no issues with damage or missing parts at all. I watched Canyons YouTube video for assembling the bike and read through the included instructions. The assembly was very easy and I went from opening the box to riding the bike in less than 2 hours. I have been on 7 or 8 rides ranging from 7 miles up to 42 miles and the bike has been amazing. If Im in the market for another bike anytime soon, I will look at Canyon bikes again for sure.

After months of debate I finally pulled the trigger. Bike arrived as advertised. Assembly took less than 45 minutes including pedals and bottle cages (bought separately). So far i am a happy first time Canyon buyer. My Endurace is all I hoped for and more. One piece of advice, Conti5000 tyres on an endurance bike may be a bit of a stretch. Popped 3 tubes on the first ride. I know you have updated to Schwallbe which makes sense. Wish mine came with those as well. Other than that its a fine piece of machinery. Looking forward to many miles.

Ive been waiting for Canyon to come to the USA for so long and Im so glad theyre finally here. I have been in and out of their showroom to discuss bikes several times and recently purchased one. I also got the chance to speak with one of their techs for a while just before Belgian Waffle Ride because they held a big expo there. The showroom is beautiful and everyone Ive spoken to there has EXCELLENT customer service skills... but it doesnt feel like I was walking into a bike shop/showroom because everyone I spoke to is also a pretty hard core rider (of various terrains). So when I walked in there, I really felt like I was just meeting some new riding buddies who happen to be experts in the bikes theyre selling. The folks that worked with me on my purchase were super fun to talk to about tech specs and geometry of their Canyon bikes versus other bikes we own and what their experience has been. We also just talked about rides and races and clubs we enjoy. The showroom itself is beautiful, with some famous bikes which are for show only, as well as display bikes representative of the inventory they sell. Theyve got outside patio seating to just hang out, an espresso machine, clean restrooms (I brought the kids with me), and all that. Also, the big screen TV with the Giro dItalia streaming live was nice. :)

Had to wait for the Grail 6 WMN (in a 2XS) to become in stock for several months, but it was so worth the wait!! I will say, if you’re waiting for a certain bike to be in stock, check the website every single day. The predicted wait time changes pretty often. I was on the “notify me when available” list, but I was never notified. I don’t fault anyone for not being notified, these things are like hot cakes! I randomly checked the website and it said “2 left in stock”, so I jumped on it. Once ordered, it was at my house in five business days. Easy to assemble. I am so happy with it :)

Despite some technical issues with ordering the bicycle online, I had a great experience dealing with someone from Canyon (US) on the phone getting my Grizl SLX ordered. The bicycle arrived 4 days later and was a breeze to setup. The quality of the bicycle was superb and I have enjoyed riding it a few times since. The sizing was correct. Also converted the tires to a tubeless setup which went smoothly. I have no regrets ordering the bike direct from Canyon. Very frustrating dealing with lack of inventory/parts from local shops.

Really pleased with the new Spectral 29 CF 8. Processing and shipping was extremely fast. It was easy to assemble, though the manual was not specific to my model. Maybe a YouTube assembly instruction video for each mode would be good. The attention to detail is noticeable on this ride. I wanted a long travel 29er carbon trail bike with progressive geometry and this is perfect. What made me choose Canyon in the end, as a person of color, was the company’s attempt to highlight and encourage inclusivity in the cycling world. Glad I made this purchase.

I have always dealt with my local bike shop for all my bike purchases. I have never ordered a bike online and was a little skeptical. Canyon had my size, 2XL and financing so I could pay over time, so I pulled the trigger. Bike is awesome!!! I ride it and I feel myself as if I were riding The Tour of France. I wanted to buy the CF 7.0 in black but it isnt available right now and it seems it will be but not sure when. So, I decided to buy this, priced adjusted more to my budged and I do not regret at all. This Bike is what I needed as my first road bike. It is really light and it fits me well. It might be possible I need the small but in the meantime Im riding this Medium and I will ride more and more until put it some kilometers on the back. Im really happy with it. I picked up a Canyon Spectral Al 6 as soon as I saw it available. The shipping was incredibly fast and on time! (Ordered FedEx Express - if you dont know this by now, FedEx ground is horrible & FedEx Express is well worth the extra 99 bucks).The bike was very well packaged and the instructions were very clear. Ive put 100 miles on the bike now and it has by far exceeded my expectations! I would recommend Canyon Bicycles to anyone who wants the best bike you can get for the money.P.S. Make sure you tighten the rear axle out of the box even though the rear wheel is attached to the bike upon delivery (almost had a casualty, but I caught it before it was too late).

My Endurace CF SL 7.0 is everything I expected and more. The first 250 miles have been smooth and full of enjoyment. The customer service at Canyon was spectacular. The bike was easy to assembly when it arrived. I was riding the bike within an hour of unboxing. My only complaint is the spacer in the front disc brake was missing.

Very friendly staff. You want to call at least one week ahead to make sure the type of bike you want to ride is available. Canyon does a lot of events and when they do they take a lot of their demo bikes with them. The location is super close to the beach, so you can easily ride on PCH.

Ive seen Canyon bikes while Ive been out riding and began researching online. The quality and the depth of thought behind the designs, geometry, components, and model choices won me over. I just received my Endurace 8.0 and it is amazing! Assembly was easy due to the instructions, tools, and shipping design. This is the first bike Ive bought from Canyon and I find myself now looking at their mountain bike range. You wont be disappointed!

I ordered a Canyon Endurance CF SL 8.0 online. I was in between frame sizes and the online size guide wasn’t particularly helpful. Someone at the customer support center was nice, but didn’t have a lot of conviction in his size recommendation. After 100 miles, I’m still not sure if the S is the correct size. One of the problems of online ordering, I suppose. On the bright side, assembly was very easy and the bike looks beautiful.While I wait for new cycling shoes and clipless pedals to be delivered, I have used the bike with sneakers and Canyon-provided basket pedals. That combination has already done a lot of aesthetic damage to the cranks in the form of scratches. It would have been nice if the company warned of such potential damage, as a brand new bike shouldn’t look so worn in already.

I ordered a Endurace CF7 Di2 in Medium size and was excited to get the bike in a few days. On opening the box, I saw that they had sent a Large bike. I called customer support and was asked to return the bike and order a new one. So I did that and got another bike which was also a Large (wrong) size. After multiple calls and talking to the Customer Service supervisor, I was advised to wait till the issue was resolved.Now 2+ weeks later I called again and the response was issue was escalated but no resolution date available.Yes, the bikes may be great, but their Customer Service is pathetic. All they do is push back and not provide information. What’s even more ironic is that I can still order the same bike and presumably get the same large bikes (not medium) sent to me. Why is the order website not updated to show that Medium is not available? This is extremely unprofessional and shows they do not respect a customer’s time or care for their business. My experience with Canyon support is that it is never the fault of the person handling the call. It is someone else and so they are unable to “try” and help.Please think twice if you buy a bike from Canyon, if you are lucky and get a good working bike great, if not you may regret your decision.Update:After 5 weeks the issue was corrected and I was able to get the bike in the correct size. The bike was a joy to ride and I completed my first 100 mile ride within a few days of getting the bike.All in all it ended well and I think that the issue was resolved satisfactorily. The only thing is it took a really long time. I feel that the sales team/assembly/head office teams work independently and if issues need all units to be involved the customer experience suffers. It is a very stodgy organization and needs some streamlining.

I love my Canyon Exceed C7 Hard Tail. Ive been riding it practically every day. Ordering was easy and I opted to have the mobile tech support deliver and set up my bike. That was awesome. The only thing that I would suggest is that if there are extra fees, like setting up tubeless tires the tech person should mention that there is a fee and what cost will be. I figured since the bike comes tubeless tire ready, there should be no extra cost. Just saying!

I had my eye on a new Canyon CF Ultimate Di2 Disc for a while but it was not available in my size. By chance, on a Monday last month I was happy to see it was in stock. I quickly talked myself into making the purchase and was amazed that it only took 7 days to arrive. I think the Canyon shipping from California is doing a great job.I carefully unpacked each flawless and carefully wrapped part and probably spent 3x the normal assembly time just to be sure everything went perfectly. It was killing me that I had a club ride the next morning but I couldnt take this bike until I dialed in my seat and cockpit adjustments and also became used to the electronic shifting. But I eventually perfected that and now I dont get dropped on the fastest club rides because this bike flies up the hills!Canyon bikes have a high price point, but are an excellent specification level for the money. If you are on the fence about it, do yourself a favor and buy one! The aesthetics of the bikes lines, paint, and graphics are fantastic, and everything functions perfectly out of the box (no noises, perfect brakes and shifting, etc).If Canyon is good enough for UCI World Tour teams, then I guess Ill have to get by with it, haha.I would make the same purchase again without hesitation. Someday I would like to see the Canyon factory, I will probably watch the youtube tour videos out there.One interesting side note, after I put on my Favero pedals, I noticed they had put on a 4iiii meter... bonus! :)Update: loved the ultimate soooo much, I had to get the Aeroad (in Alpecin colors). Just purchased the Canyon Ultimate cf sl 8.0. LOVE the bike. I got it in the Movistar team colors - blue and white. This would have been a 5 start review if the buy process was better. I was ready to buy and went online and saw that the bike was going to be in stock the following week. I was pumped, the next week rolled around and saw that the availability was push back a week. waited another week and it happened again. i think this happened 3-4 times. Was really frustrating and during that time it made me consider other bikes.I didnt know if it was going to continually be pushed back. Lucky the stock came in sooner than the website showed and made the purchase the day it became available. Also not everyone wants a Black or Grey. Having a fun colorful sexy looking bike is half the fun. Thats why people by yellow lamborghini its fast and they want people know it. each model should have a fun color scheme other than blacked out

I love biking and have many different bikes, but the Canyon Endurace CF SL 8.0 Disk di2 is a fantastic cut above the others. It is very stiff but just bit more ergonomic than my previous race oriented bikes. However, this bike is fast. My average speed is increasing and I feel the difference in performance. I have 2 other gravel bikes but I am heavily looking at the Grail thinking if its as good as the Endurace, then I want on badly.

Stopped by on a Saturday half an hour before they closed. Almost expected to be rushed out of there. Boy was I wrong. My family and I were greeted at the door by Felipe. He welcomed us in offered drinks and gave us a tour of their beautiful store. He went on to fit me for a bike and let me check out the different sizes. So far customer service has been nothing short of fabulous.Fast forward a few weeks and Im back on the east coast with my new Spectral. The bike arrived in perfect condition. - Customer Service was really good, friendly, and easy- Website was confusing when I bought: first it said Medium were sold out, same day it said they were available but when I tried again said not available anymore. Ended up buying a large first, then next day a medium cause it was available on my Shopping Cart and returned the large, but overall customer services was really good- Assembly: It was easy at the end BUT the instructions were generic not specifically for my model and not clear neither. I like handy work so it was not hard to do it, but had to read more than enough cause the instructions were not clear. I suggest following IKEA model which is very clear and specific to the actual article- The Bike: amazing, love it, I did add a comfortable seat and kickstand as I am ok with the extra weight

I haven’t ridden a bike in more than 20 years (or owned one for that matter) and I was so pumped to finally get this one - after watching some videos on YouTube (VC included) of Canyon bikes in action. And it’s more fun than I remember. Aside from being a good time, I just dig this bike. It looks awesome and rides great. Ive got about 60 miles on my new Endurace CF SL 7.0 - Great bike. Easy purchase. Assembly took a little longer (1.5 hours), but Im a little OCD! And I reversed the stem for a bit more elevation. The new 105 set is better than the Ultegra on my previous bike.

Ordering a bike was an easy and quick process. I was able to check out a buddy’s rig before I ordered mine to be sure of sizing. I was at the top end of a large and chose an XL. I’m glad I did, it fits me perfectly. All my other rigs are XL as well. The bike was packed extremely well to prevent shipping damage. I had a couple after purchase customer service interactions that were great. I wish more companies had the level of customer service that Canyon does. My inquiries were handle promptly and resolved the first time. I became aware of Canyon while working as a bike tech. Their products seem solid and are spec’d very well. The coming riding season will be the true test. If the need for another bike arises (not likely for a while), I’ll definitely look to Canyon.

I have had some minor things go wrong, that I was able to resolve by spending some extra cash to get them fixedl- cables on rear arm should be sealed in frame- battery should be a quick disconnect, definitely need fenders, tubeless ready is just a waste to put tubes on these bikes- make em tubeless right off the bat- dump the tubes!

I put the bike together in less than half an hour using the tools they provided.The only minor issue that I found after a first shake down ride was a minor alignment issue with the rear derailleur, which was quickly fixed at home (and I probably could have done that during my ride had I read the SRAM etap instructions before the ride).

Aeroad 7.0 Part Left Inside from FactoryI ordered a Aeroad 7.0 from Canyon, had it professionally built and started riding it for a month or so. I hear a weird rattling as I move the bike around. I call customer service, they cant figure it out either.I called Canyon again and spoke with a supervisor who helped me resolve the issue. They also offered to cover any bike shop fees I might incur related to the issue.

I really enjoy my bike. I bought the Grail AL 7.0 and have been loving it. I feel like Canyon provides some of the best value for money with the best components on their bikes and quality building materials. While I bought more of a base model, the bike does not feel like an entry level bike. It is light, snappy, and fun to ride. When the customer service team called to ask me about shipping details I enjoyed my conversation with them as it was both pleasant and genuine. All around I have loved Canyon! I would say that the sizing tool didnt work for me always, but I am a bit oddly proportioned! Maybe a simply button that allows you to submit info for review on sizing if the tool doesnt work straight off? But that is a super small detail. Great experience with them!

The ordering process was easy. I purchased the Grail CF SLX. Wasn’t sure about the sizing, but the size recommended fits me perfectly. The bike was shipped quickly, and it was at my door 3 days after ordering it. It comes with all the tools needed for assembly, and went together easily. Aligning the cockpit and front wheel was a bit of a challenge, but with the help of YouTube, it was easy the figure out.I also wasn’t sure about the color of the bike when ordering, but it looks a lot better in real life than in the photos. However, I do wish that Canyon would at least offer one other color to choose from on specific models when ordering. It would be nice to have more than one option.Overall, everything went really smooth, and I’m enjoying some great gravel rides!

Came ready to ride outa the box. Dimensions were perfect. At first I was very skeptical about Canyon’s recommendation of a Medium frame. The engineers know better that I, so I trusted their knowledge. Not sure about tires if they have sealant in them, and what break fluid was used so it’s not contaminated. I love the bike, but very cautious because it’s all CF. I live in a small town with no bike service. Not sure who to trust for service. However, all in all it’s a great bike and concept for home delivery.

Updated: I have to update my review. The bike is still good but the company service policy was annoying. This is a review of the policy of the company not the bike. I purchased a bike at the end of the season so it was easy to assume it wouldn’t go on sale any farther. But it got discounted by 500$ three weeks after I received my package. (Great deal I wish I had waited a few weeks). When I called customer service to get a price adjustment they did very little even though I was just 4 days outside of the return window. I’ve technical not even had the bike in my possession for 30days. It kind of a bummer considering the experience so far had be good.Original review: I love everything about this bike. Compared to the big brands Canyon didn’t cheap out on the little parts. Nice saddle, actually had pedals and the grips were high quality. I worked in a bike shop for years, it’s in the less important parts that you see a brands true attention to detail IMO. The bike shipped quickly and I rode it as soon as I could. Such a great bang for your buck. The ride quality is as good as the look. Love the raw aluminium finish, looks really refined in person.The only slight criticism I could give was the tune on the drivetrain was a little sloppy for a brand new setup. But with a bit of elbow grease I was able to easily resolve that.When I placed my order I had a question so I called customer service and was blown away by the helpful service. In the past I have had to warranty frames with big brands and it was a lot of trouble to resolve, so good service was just the cherry on top. 100% would recommend this brand, this is my first Canyon bike but not my last.

I bought a bike and the seat-stay arrived cracked. After I reached out to Canyon, they agreed that it was a defect and would have sent me a new frame (ostensibly, they would have allowed me to pay someone to set up the new frame since Velofix is not available in my area? I dont know. We never got that far). They didnt have the frame in stock, so they agreed that the bike would need to be replaced. So I had to return my bike, wait for it to arrive, get processed, wait for Canyon to submit a reimbursement to Affirm, then wait for Affirm to reimburse my down payment. Pretty standard stuff. But the frustrating thing was Canyon wouldnt hold a bike for me, so as I waited for the return process to complete, I had to watch the bike stock dwindle before I could make a new purchase since Affirm had my down payment. In the end, I was able to reorder the bike (and Affirm didnt require a down payment this time!) and it worked out better b/c Canyon was offering 0% APR on purchases through Affirm for 1 year. But, man, did it seem silly that I had to rebuy the bike rather than Canyon just sending me a replacement. I should say all Canyon employees I spoke with were great and as helpful as they could be under the circumstances. I look forward to getting my bike in the next day or two.

Excellent experience! Ordered on a Thursday, and had it the next Tuesday. Very easy to assemble yourself, as it comes with pretty much all necessary tools(youll need an air pump and wrench for your pedals). Took around 30 minutes, and was good to go. Really happy with the Grizl 6 and how it has performed so far. I got the Spectral 29 CF 8. It shipped fast, though receiving it requires an in person signature, which added significant complications for me.I had a few issues after receiving the bike. One of the holes on the stem wasnt fully tapped, meaning I couldnt put the handlebars on, luckily i own taps. It was obvious, since it was the only bolt that wasnt fully screwed in from the factory, so not sure how that passed quality control. The paint on the top tube had severe swirls in it, its cosmetic, but on a $5k bike Id expect better. The derailur needed adjusted. Some of the bolts were loose. The front wheel is slightly out of true from the factory. There was a lot of air in both brake lines. Ive ordered a Canyon bike before, it didnt have these issues. Maybe I was unlucky with this one? I would expect quality control to be a bit better though.Once I got all of that sorted, the bike rides nice and the suspension has plenty of support for pedaling. Its a good technical single-track climber, and takes bigger hits with ease.

This is a super awesome bike right out of the box. Very aggressive and fun. However, the bike was not assembled correctly by the manufacturer. A pivot bolt was loose; the bottom bracket was not tight enough and started creaking. The workers at Canyon that assemble these bikes for shipping need do do a better job at staying consistent with making the bike ready for everyone. Im not saying this is the case for every Canyon that has been sent out, this is just my experience.

Waited for months for the bike I wanted. Did the research and got fitted at the Canyon store. All worth the wait! Super fast shipping and easy to put together ! Love my Canyon Ultimate it is so quick and lightweight. The only thing is they never updated the pictures online for the saddle. When I got mine the saddle was different then the one pictured and it did not have the same markings found online. *Edit they are prompt and helpful had a warranty issue addressed. I bought my first Canyon bicycle as a carbon fiber Grail. The sizing on the website worked especially well for me, and this is the best fitting bike I have ever ridden. I absolutely love the carbon fiber Grail! It is actually comfortable on bouncy gravel, and I avoid getting a headache from all the bumps and jolts. The bike is beautiful to look at and so responsive on my rides. I also LOVE the GRX drive train as I can go fast on tarmac and climb some of the steepest hills.

I really like my bike and how fast it was delivered post purchase. My biggest complaint is their website had little to no info on the bikes components or it didnt pop up the info correctly on my browser. I feel like either there should be a written instruction manual or a video instruction that 100% matches the components involved and the exact steps involved in successfully assembling my specific model bike. Using both the provided written assembly instructions and available video assembly instructions, I felt like had to guess and use trial and error to stumble my way through the assembly of my bikes.

This Grail is my third Canyon and another great experience. I was super bummed when assembling my bike and saw the rotor got bent during shipping. I chatted support and they said no problem - try this fix and let us know the outcome. The fox didn’t work and I had to replace the rotor. If you have any doubts they will spend an unlimited time with you to discuss your problem or go over their products with you.I do wish that the directions for self assembly were geared a bit more towards the specific model. And when my bike came it did not come with a user guide for the Di2 shifters. However, once I called, they provided me with a general guide that was super helpful. This should have been included in the box right from the start as instructions for connecting the Di2 were virtually nonexistent. Also the hub where did not come out as easily as shown in the assembly video and took some time to figure out.But overall, great experience and would totally recommend buying a bike from them. I got the cf ultimate. Really great overall experience! You need to know which size fits you and the Canyon provides good estimates on their website. I was between the sizes and picked a larger bike - it fits great, no issues whatsoever. I’m sure a smaller bike would’ve been a great fit too - there’s a lot adjustability in the seatpost and the saddle and you can shorten the stem by ~1.5”. The buying experience was superb - the bike was shipped fast and the whole assembly took about 15min. Canyon provides all necessary tools and lubes. The best part - all the components were already adjusted. No need to mess with the derailleurs or brakes. I’m really happy with my purchase. Canyon road bikes are usually lighter than big S and T counterparts. This was a major deciding factor.

Overall Im really happy with my Grand Canyon 5. Its a nice bike and a very reasonable weight at 31.15 pounds. Only three minor issues out of the box. One, the rear derailleur wasnt adjusted right out of the box, the shifts sometimes dont happen at all or you have to shift 2 or 3 steps to get a shift to happen. Two, the flat pedals that are provided are super slick and the pins are very minimal and as such do not provide very much grip at all on the few shoes Ive tried with them, your feet will slide off of them fairly easily. Ive already switched to a set of aluminum combo clip in/flats with stainless pins which are working much better. I do understand the entry-level purpose of this bike but Im really wondering how much of an impact on the price point a set of flats with replaceable stainless pins would be. Three, Canyon states in the assembly instuctions to use Canyons carbon paste for assembly of the bar to the stem and the seatpost to the frame but didnt provide any in the box. (they provided a simple newton-meter torque wrench for assembly but no paste) which is a kinda glaring omission considering your instructed to apply the paste during assembly. And finally, a wish I have for this model would be a provision for an internal cable routing for a dropper post, certainly not stopping me from adding an externally routed post but after getting this bike and seeing the nice clean appearance of the internal routing of the rear brake and derailleur cables I would have loved to have done the same for the dropper. In the end I do love my bike and am already planning my next Canyon purchase of a full suspension model for things my Canyon 5 really isnt intended for.

To start off, my buying process was smooth to say the least but it was the result of some glitch in the system. Although, Canyon customer service was able to quickly resolve it and even get my bike shipped earlier. My only complaints are that they can sometimes be tricky to get a hold of because of the shear volume of people who call in. They are very nice and helpful once you can get a hold of them. As far as the products, theyre good. I bought the lower level spectral and it has impressed me. There were some assembly issues (dropper cable short, rear spokes loose after a week, seat clamp needed higher torque than recommended). They were all things i could fix and maybe should have checked more thoroughly, although they are a bike company that hand assembles everything. Since the bike industry has had supply chain issues It’s been difficult to get the bike I originally wanted. I jumped at the chance to get a Roadlite 6 when one became available last month in my size. This is a do it all (road, path, and dirt ) bike for my local rides.Assembly took less than an hour. I bought the Canyon Lux Trail CF 7 in size Medium and couldn’t be more happy with it. I received the bike on August 30th 2022, have 9 rides on it and 200 miles as of 9/12/22. After receiving it, set up took about 30 minutes and setting the rebound and correct shock psi took a few rides to get dialed in. I’ve already set PR’s and Top 10’s on segments I’ve been riding for years actually crushing a bunch of them. I love this bike! But on the other hand, I did experience some questionable customer service about a year or so ago that caused me to seriously consider whether Canyon was the right bike for me. I understand there is a general shortage of bikes in the market; but I registered as wanting to purchase one and the regular emails that I received were just of commercial nature, advertisements and such. Purchasing the bike was very straight forward, however if you hadn’t done your homework and knew nothing about sizing a bike for yourself you could end up purchasing the wrong size bike. I on the other hand did my homework and found several competitors websites, when combined, gave me the information on how to measure properly myself for the right frame size and one had a interactive drawing of a bike where you can click on any part of the bike and it would give the name of that part and the measurements. This was extremely helpful as many manufacturers just list the size of each part in their specs, but again, unless you already know what a “Seat tube” is and understand it’s many rolls, it means nothing. After all, a informed consumer is going to be your best customer.After doing my do diligence, I found that for the money, Canyon gives the biggest bang for the buck in components and materials used. This is my first Canyon and I’m excited to see how performs over the years.

The frame and componentry are a fantastic value for the price paid.After first few rides, the bike has also exceeded my expectations. Im still working through suspension setup to custom tune to my riding style, but it has worked flawlessly so far. Shifting and braking are crisp and predictable.There were two very small issues associated with packaging and shipping. A very tiny scratch, about a quarter inch long, was found on the fork crown. Also, the front tire rubbed against the down tune while in transit and made a black mark. This was easily removed with bug and tar remover. So, a very minor scratch on the fork crown was the only blemish for a bike shipped thousands of miles. CANYON=great packaging.Overall, I could not be more pleased. If CANYON wants to comp me a free hat for the scratch on the crown, I wouldnt turn it down! But regarding what really matters, the easy purchase experience, quick shipping and high-quality product made me very pleased with my decision to chose CANYON for my new ride.

I purchased the Canyon Endurace CF SL 7, I have love the Frozen Yellow! My budget was $2,500 and, I feel this is the best bargain out there for a new bike. The bike is awesome. Delivery was a few days late, but I suspect that was the carriers fault.The only issue I experienced was with assembling the bike. The instructions didnt relate to the model I had ordered so werent too easy to follow. That said, I have limited knowledge about bike assembly so could definitely have been user error!Overall, very happy with everything and would highly recommend.

I received my bike super quick! Already mostly put together in the premium level box! I felt like this was a great unboxing experience and that it was very thoughtfully put together and had all the tools and information necessary for assembly along with nice small touches of an extra bag and spare parts. From talking with Canyon on the phone about the bike, sizes, to ordering and assembly to the trail I have to say it was a great experience all the way around. I highly recommend Canyon to a beginner to advanced rider. Especially now with social distancing and bike shops being limited to being able to help. Save the trip to the shop and just buy direct. I recently purchased an Endurace CF SL from Canyon, and I cannot be more pleased! The ordering process was seamless, and the shipping was fast and direct to my home. When the bike arrived it was a breeze to set up. If you can tight a screw, you can assemble your bike from Canyon. From start to finish, the entire install took about 10 minutes. Ive only put a few miles on this bike, so as for a review to the bike itself, I will have to post later after I get a couple thousand miles on it. So far, it has been great though!

While the product itself is excellent and certainly lives up to my expectations, it is undermined by the customer service department whose continual mistakes and miscommunication has led to several delays in the delivery of my purchase.I ordered my bike on 8/15/2020 and received a confirmation email notifying me that my purchase was being processed. On 8/19/2020 I called customer service and spoke with Olivier. He informed me that someone was supposed to contact me saying that the bike I ordered was no longer in stock. After much back and forth, Olivier also recommended that I get a different size bike since the bike I ordered was probably too small—I entered my measurements on the Canyon website a few times to make sure that I purchased the correct size....but according to Olivier, I was wrong (gotta love a patronizing customer service rep right?). About 30 mins after our conversation, I received an email from Olivier saying “ After further investigation, we located a bike for you, your order has processed and your new Canyon bike is on its way.” I called to follow up the next day to ensure the order was processed and it was not. The other customer service representative was much more helpful and sent out the order along with a confirmation email and tracking number that stated my bike would be arriving on 8/21/2020.On the expected delivery date, I called FedEx to see if they had a more specific time for the delivery and they notified me that the bike was never sent to them in addition to the shipping label being filled out incorrectly. Later that day, I received an email saying my bike was finally at the FedEx facility in Chino, CA and will be arriving the next day 8/22/2020. The morning of the new expected delivery date, the status went to pending then informed me that there was an additional delay and that my bike would be delivered the next day 8/23/2020. Unfortunately, on 8/23/2020 FedEx notified me saying that a delivery attempt was made but could not be completed because the shipper failed to provide the correct address and apartment number. Additionally, when I asked if I could just pick up the package myself, FedEx told me that Canyon had put a restriction on package and that I would have to call Canyon and have them correct the address with FedEx.Eventually, my bike arrived on Monday 8/24/2020 with wonderful follow-up and assistance from Hannah who was incredibly prompt in her responses.For a company that prides themselves in high quality products and equipment, I would expect equally high standards for their customer service team.

Bought a Lux CF and I am thrilled with it! Bike seems to be built solid, rides excellent and I don’t think there is anything more I could ask out of this ride. The price seemed fair and delivery was quicker than expected! I really wanted to buy local but the two LBS’s couldn’t meet my needs, the one said he was more interested in building/servicing bikes, and the other wanted me to buy the bike upfront but not receive for 8-12 months…. Canyon made it easy and I would recommend or buy another bike from them in the future!

Purchased my first Mt.Bike from Canyon and customer service was great with helping me find the right bike for what I wanted. Their 30day return policy is awesome as other companies dont let you go out and try their bike for 30days before committing to buying it.Overall the Strive CF 8.0 bike I bought is awesome. High quality and the bike is capable of more than my abilities right now so I will have a great bike to grow into. I would not buy from other online bike stores as I have done so in the past and the quality and service is junk.Canyon is trustworthy, they build high quality bikes and the same bike cost from 2500-3000$ more from other bike brands for the exact same set up. Overall very good service. You sent the wrong instructions for the Fox forks (instruction manual were for a different set of forks), but luckily my friend - who knows bikes - was there to help. I think for any other beginner on bike repairs/construction it would be a difficult task to do alone, which I suppose is why you have the Velo offer available. Maybe you also have online videos on how to build each type of bike? Other than that, really a positive experience so thanks.

Canyon tries hard to help and even includes some tools with the bike but their instructions are generic - they use the same book for all their bikes - and the assembly steps can be confusing.

The value for money is next level! My Enduarce is solidly built and super fun to ride. Yes you have to partially assemble the bike when it arrives or pay someone to assemble it for you), but Canyon does a pretty good job walking you through everything. I had trouble with my Di2 shifters as Ive never had electronic shifters, but was able to troubleshot on my own...though if it had been during the week, I would have contacted Canyons support team for assistance.

I recently received a Grail AL and am absolutely loving it. The experience of ordering/receiving the bike was simple as can be, as was the set up procedure. The bike is very light, the components are of high quality, and generally I am very pleased with Canyons craftsmanship. I have a Canyon Endurace Disc in XXL. I’m a tall dude, at 6’7”, so finding a comfortable bike for me is nearly impossible. I’ve ridden a lot of road bikes, but this is my fav so far.The stack and the reach are perfect for me, the cockpit isn’t cramped and is a good mix of endurance and race.I do 100+ mile rides on this bike and I’ve never encountered a single problem. Came in a great box, well protected and came with its own torque wrench. Only 5 bolts to tighten (stem and seatpost), otherwise bike is fully assembled, tuned, and ready to be ridden for endless rides.Very happy with my canyon.In the past I’ve owned two specialized, one Cannondale, and one Giant. I like the Endurace the best.

I had an amazing experience. I received my bike within a week of ordering it. During this pandemic that’s extremely rare. The Torque is solid. The only issue I had was the dropper cable, it was a little tight getting it connected to the dropper properly. I wish the cable wasn’t actually run all the way through to the dropper lever. Would have made it a little easier to install and adjust myself. At least for me. But over all amazing experience!

The company set expectations, and exceeded them. On their website they said 10-12 days for delivery, I was totally cool waiting. I got an email saying my bike was being delivered after only 2 days made my day and year.Love the specs that they offered in my bike. Bike is light weight and a beautiful blue color.Highly recommend using their Velofix service with shipping. buying a new expensive bike I wanted a proper setup. Velofix was quick, delivered it to my door ready to ride.One recommendation for Canyon, if you are going to be an online retailer only. I would develop a better sizing system. I felt it ran a little small compared with what I previously rode. I would consider the top tube in your calculations.I would recommend Canyon Bicycles and now looking at their mountain bikes.

My Grizl came promptly and was well packed. The bike is great and I love it. It’s solid and so amazingly light, it’s just a joy to ride.I do have two minor areas of complaint:1. The instructions that came with my bike were generic and did not include the instructions or annotation that there were separate instructions for the parts on the bike that are not standard to the line. E.g the dropper seat post or the shocks for the bike.2. Either don’t send pedals or send better ones, the ones that came with the bike hurt my feet when I used them for my initial tuning ride.

I ordered a Di2-equipped Endurace and it is an amazing machine--and at $500-1000 less than comparable bikes from other companies.My only quibble is that the directions for assembling the bike could be better. Its not a huge deal--I have pretty good bike mechanic skills--but if youre going to go direct-to-consumer, I think you should really provide top-notch assembly directions.My main ride buddy also went with Canyon and felt the same way. Great bike. Great value. So-so consumer experience. If something has to give, Ill take it but I dont think it would be hard for them to post some videos and/or provide detailed instructions.
