I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Gary for helping me as much as he could during a difficult time with my Prius. Gary is very professional, kind, and an extremely hard worker. I agree with all the positive reviews of him here. He received my car being towed, kept it at his shop for days trying to figure out what was wrong with the vehicle. Priuses have so many codes and diagnosing them can be taxing, but Gary stuck with it. Gary is A+++ in my book.Also, he keeps his shop super clean out of respect for his customers. We talked a bit about work ethic and he really is top notch. Thanks for everything, Gary!

I am so thankful for Gary. Someone tried to break into my car and broke off the driver side lock and handle. I did NOT want to go to the dealer and he took care of it all and saved me money.

Gary is not only the best mechanic we have ever had, he is also a lovely person who goes beyond the basics of fixing a car. He treats each customer as a friend and as a person who relies on his or her car to function, and he will go out of his way to make that car deliver. His work is meticulous and timely, and his prices are more than fair. He has great integrity, and he will be upfront about everything the car needs to keep the driver safe and functioning. We cannot recommend him enough.

Gary is an extremely professional mechanic and one of the best Ive worked with. My car broke down in Sierra Madre and I had it towed to Canbeq. Gary was very accommodating, moving cars around before closing so there was a spot for me to leave mine later. Within a few days, Gary had looked at the car and given me the update. Unfortunately, repairs would cost more than what it was worth on such an old car. I decided I needed to junk or donate the car. Gary let me keep the car with him at the shop for a week while I figured out arrangements, bringing the car in and out of his shop each day. I couldnt believe he was so accommodating when I wasnt even paying him to perform work on the car. Eventually, my car was towed away by a donation company. I cannot recommend Gary and his shop enough. Extremely professional, friendly, knowledgable, affordable (I got a quote for the work) and all around kind-hearted. I will definitely be taking my car to Canbeq when I move closer to the area.

If youre not sure which mechanic to trust or youre nervous about taking your car in to the shop, go to Gary. He has done an incredible job with my cars and Ive referred my entire extended family to Canbeq. He is knowledgeable and fair and goes above and beyond to take good care of us. Plus, hes kind, hell give it to you straight, and hell get you back on the road safe and sound.

Gary is most realizable and trust worthy. I bring my car here for everything. From oil changes to big repairs or even cosmetic fixes. Gary is most trust worthy and knowledgeable on what my car needs and when it needs something. He doesnt try to hassle me or over charge me for anything. Its like he really builds a relationship with my car and gets to know it. I would highly recommend him.

If you take your car in to Gary you are guaranteed happiness. 100%.Gary is not only extraordinary at what he does, hes a very passionate humanist and always, always, always has you in mind first and foremost. He will honestly talk about everything going on with your car with you, inform you of your options, and work out cost with you. And while he works on your car, he will always make sure to keep communication open with you so you know exactly what hes doing and why.He goes above and beyond. I know everyone says that about good services, but Gary doesnt provide good service, he provides the most excellent service you will find in the entire San Gabriel Valley. No one goes as above and beyond as Gary does.He is trustworthy, talented, kind hearted, and someone you can truly develop a relationship with. How many mechanics have such a rep? Not very many. Gary is different because hes not just a mechanic, hes an artist who loves what he does and the people he works with.
