The staff is very helpful from enrolling to making sure you have everything you need for class. MTI has some of the best teachers around! Every teacher I’ve had so far has been super helpful and understanding and go above and beyond to explain every step of the way so you don’t feel lost. They’re very hands on and invested in every student’s success. When I first came in I felt overwhelmed as to how things would be like but they were all very reassuring. As long as you come to class and pay attention and ask questions there’s no way you can fail!

This school is amazing the staff is very helpful. Debbie and Dr. Laura, Mae are by far the best teachers a student can ask for. I drove from Modesto to MTI because how high the school was rated in the area. I did the Medical assistant with Phlebotomy course. Learning from an actual doctor you cant beat that Dr. Laura is very personable very entertaining and showed us a lot of techniques with injections and blood draws. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get the best experience in todays medical field.

I attended MTI College and graduated their Accounting Technician Program on October 23, 2015. I enjoyed my classes. When I needed a tutor, my Dean Julie was able to get me one that helped me pass a very hard math class. Career services staff are absolutely awesome. They first place they sent my resume, I was hired. When I needed help with finding another job, they suggested AppleOne Temp Agency and I was immediately hired again and contracted with the County as a temp. I am now a permanent member of the Sacramento County Team and it is all because of MTI College. If you want a great experience, please schedule a tour with them and go.

I am about to finish my paralegal degree here and am so happy I chose to go here. The program is ABA approved and can be challenging, but the instructors for all of the departments are always willing to spend the extra time if you have trouble with a concept. Their career services department already assisted me with finding a job in a law firm and I plan on staying there once I graduate. MTI is great!

I looked at all of the medical assisting programs in Sacramento and I am happy with my decision to attend MTI. The program was challenging, but if you work hard and show up, you will do fine. I ended up getting hired at the site I did my externship at. So, it was a really easy transition from my classes to work. If you are willing to put in the effort, I would strongly recommend MTI.

I am a student in the paralegal program and I feel so much more prepared for a career than when I started a year ago. The initial classes are a bit easier, but once I got into the classes for my major, I was definitely challenged but I know that I am learning. They do really focus on improving student writing, so be prepared. Parking isnt bad during the day, but you might get stuck in the back of the lot if you arrive late in the evening.

It is my third week and so far the in person classes have been extremely helpful. I love the campus and staff are extremely friendly. They will go over anything if you dont understand it, even if it is your 4th or 5th time asking. The availability of the teachers ranges according to their own schedule. There are Multiple teachers and instructors to help you out.

I am just about to finish the 2nd and final year of my paralegal degree and I am so happy with my decision and proud to have accomplished this. The law firm I got hired at as a legal secretary last year has already told me they plan on promoting me to a full paralegal once I graduate. This came as no surprise to me as all the other paralegals in the office are all MTI graduates! There is a reason that this college has been around for so long. Their staff and faculty, especially the program chair, had my best interests in mind through the whole program and pushed me to be successful. Without them, I would not be in the place I am today.

I cannot thank you enough for what MTI did to my career. The trainings at school are spot on to the real world. The instructions are based on current trends. The teachers and staff are amazing in every step of the way. Very pleasant and friendly environment. Five star with many thumbs up!!

I came to MTI after graduating from Humboldt State University. I was unable to find a job in my degree field, so I turned to MTI to learn a skill, which I did, quickly. I am a Medical Assistant with phlebotomy certification. I loved the instructors and the people who work in counseling and job placement as well. This is a hands-on school where I learned so much, and am now looking forward to having a career and being employable with an in demand skill.If you are willing to work hard and have a passion for the curriculum, you will find what you are looking for at MTI. It is accredited by WASC, which is the standard by which the best schools and colleges are judged in the western part of the United States, so your degree will have real value.

Anyone who is serious about their education and careers DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT go to this school. I graduated from this school in 2016 with an AA in B.A. and wanted to transfer to SAC state, boy have I been rudely awakened. I had to take business law, and several other classes at ARC to even be admitted. So there goes two more years I have to extend on to my schooling. Whats worse I could of gotten the same education and a guaranteed transfer to CSUS for a fraction of the price. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!Also, their Career Center is a massive joke. I went to them many times looking for employment Ive been lied to and totally dismissed. All they do is send you email every other week with job listings that are the SAME job listings on every other job site out there. Theres nothing special about their services. They dont have any path ways for employment if youre not on the IT OR paralegal track. Apparently business students only qualify for admin assisting. In fact I was denied a job working for them!!!! I do not know where they get their placement numbers of 90 percent. I cant wait for the government to sue these private for profit schools out of existence

I attended here in 2011 studying medical assisting. Recently I attempted to take the test to become a certified medical assistant. To my dismay it turns out this college is NOT accredited. MTI swore up and down that they were accredited to get me to sign up. Their business is designed to make money off you plain and simple. You will have a hard time finding work in your desired field after going here. I cant speak for their other programs but their medical program is a scam. Beware.

Investigate yourself and ask tons of questions! This is a very very shady company. I went in because I thought they had a good reputation and wanted to ask a lot of questions. Jason Holt was my advisor and he left me waiting 2 of my appointments to begin with.I was uncertain which road to go so he suggested medical coding numerous times, even though the income at graduation is minimal and work difficult for placement, along with paralegal course. When I finally expressed an interest, he reluctantly gave me information on the IT program. He directed me towards more traditional female careers when I have no interest in them initially. He suggested I talk to the IT department head john and when I spoke to him he made me feel unwelcome and then I shouldnt pursue computers unless I was super passionate. Ive been talked two the career Department people one named Chelsea and someone else athey each spoke about me behind my back to the others in the career center because I asked them very specific questions. she knew who i was having never spoken to me prior. What I asked them is how many people enrolled at each of these courses, how many people successfully graduated each of those courses and then because I was the career center, I wanted to know the three, six months, and one year for career placement numbers of those same people.I was then given a lecture that they couldnt give me guarantees and that I was on my own to have a good resume and be passionate about what I wanted to do. They refuse to answer my questions because I wanted to know real numbers. Not the padded ones they give you to make it look good when signing up.I was then transferred to Amy Draeger director of admissions she took down my questions got them all wrong but said she would call me back in a few hours. She never bothered to call.So I did do a sit-down in the IT program and the two professors I thought you were very nice. I then went and dealt with the financial aid office for admissions. So then Jason decided to tell me hes done more for me than anyone who is applied to the school and got very angry because I was upset when I wanted to find out the cost versus income ratio of my investment to go to school there. So then I did call back to try to arrange another sit in which he said I could do in the legal department. He never called me back. So now after doing the enrollment I now have a rejection letter because I am a forward-thinking questioning human being that wants to know what is worth spending my money on going back to school.They refused to give honest answers they will deflect anything back on you. If they cant answer real honest legitimate questions about how they do their business and then reject you for it doing so, tells you that their business model is not good for legitimate education and career skill goals. Dont waste your time and dont waste your money they only want your money not questions about how they do business.

Very Welcoming, Friendly and Knowledgeable. The environment here was one of a happy one. Jessica And Learning Leaders Meagan and Mandy Enjoyed what they were doing, and was obvious experts, therefore made my experience Exciting and Enlightening. I left there pleased and happy with my hair.

Just dont go here. While the professors are very professional and knowledgeable the administration here is awful. I loved my classes and my professors but every time I had to deal with any other staff it was a grueling task and they hid information from me knowing I wouldnt like it. They are not truthful and they are manipulative.

Overall, my experience at MTI has been great! They equiped me with the skills I needed to obtain a job in the business field. I am currently working full time with a company that found me through MTIs Career placement program. If your ready for change in your life then goto MTI college.

The teachers are fabulous and love teaching. Every staff member really wants to work there and it shows. Ive been to a school where the environment was so positive and encouraging about learning. This is a fabulous school.

In this computer age, accounting students were only allowed to do all of their calculations on a $2.99 calculator. There were no computers in the accounting classes at all. Accounting classes should have incorporated into their curriculum Excel and QuickBooks, so we would have become much more proficient at using them. Duh!!! Companies want employees who know how to use computer accounting programs-- not cheap calculators. One QuickBooks class instructor said that what we were taught in the six six-week QuickBooks course was very basic. No employer requests employees with a very basic knowledge of any computer program. We had 10 months of accounting classes, and should have been using Excel and QuickBooks the whole time. Outrageous waste of time and money.

Ive been to other colleges and MTI is the best. Im glad that I didnt rely on online ratings, instead I went in to MTI campus and observed it myself. I wouldnt have asked for a better college.
