I highly recommend Calstar Motors Service Center in Glendale! I had an issue with my car that nobody could figure out. I decided to call to make an appointment and was assisted by Daniel, who was helpful and very knowledgeable about my situation. I needed a ride back to work and was assisted by Isaac, who was my ALTO driver, who was also pleasant and friendly. I can’t say enough great things about this place, everyone is amazing, helpful and the employees are always very nice, family oriented and supportive. Everything got resolved quickly with my car situation, and I am pleased with the outcome.

Ive been getting my car services here for the last 5 years. The services staff are great to deal with, returned calls and gave feedback in things that my need addressing. Never had a problem. Had an issue with my engine light, they ran some test and gave possible error.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM CALSTARI traded a BMW i8 for an EQS 450 ($110,000 car) on 1-7-24. The sales process was total misrepresentation. From the 2 year free charging promises without disclosing the limitations of charging stations to the car continuously malfunctioning and stopping on me, it has been 3 months of nightmare. I called last month to take the car for service, they gave me a service time 2 months out. I only have one car so they expect me to rent a car at my expense until the service time arrives for a loaner. My trade-in was never properly taken out of my name and 3 months later I am getting an impound notice from LA Police showing me still as the registered owner of the car. I keep getting the run-around and they want me to run after doing the DMV work. The salesman Jora Keshishi and General sales Manager Armen Vardanyan have been privy to all the issues and refuse to make any amends to resolve these issues that their dealership and their $100k product have created for me. They keep telling e not to worry, when I am getting an impound notice for a car I dont own.

I initially considered giving 4 stars due to an early hiccup in the process - the car I was on my way to purchase was sold just minutes before I arrived. However, when the deal fell through, I was able to buy it the next day. Due to this initial disappointment followed by a successful purchase, I felt a 5-star review was well-deserved.The team at the dealership was incredibly accommodating. They were mindful of the inconvenience I experienced and adjusted the terms of my purchase accordingly. They honored CarMax’s trade-in value for my old car, which made the transaction seamless and hassle-free. I secured the payments and APR I was hoping for, and an issue with the bumper needing a new clip was promptly acknowledged. They guaranteed a fix once the required part arrives and provided an official document to back their promise.My thanks go out to Karo and Suzy for facilitating the process. When I noticed some rock chips and a scratch after getting the car home, they immediately ordered touch-up paint and assured me these would be taken care of when I bring the car in for the bumper repair. The lady answers the phone, and transfers me to the finance manager, or finance director, and neither pick up. I leave a voicemail with my name and phone number and I don’t get a call back. We are a family of 3, drove from Irvine, CA all the way to this dealer, spent about 1.5 hours in total. When we arrived, we were like idiots standing in the showroom, no one came out and greeting us, there was one dude sitting in the room and playing his cellphone, one guy came out and saw us, immediately went back, I guess he must think we didn’t worth his time. It’s very embarrassing and we feel no one respected us, so we left. Worst experience and never go back again, 3 hours wasted on this damn place.

I bought the EQE350+ a month or so ago. The car is great; the post-purchase experience at Calstar, not so great.On the test drive I asked a few questions on various things like range, and on the question of charging, I was told ‘it’s a good time, Mercedes are providing a free wall charger, it arrives in the mail about 2 weeks after purchase’… this addressed that concern, I ultimately went ahead with the purchase.After pestering my sales associate by text for the next few weeks about that (and a missing trunk mat) I eventually got an answer that, he had learned from another department that was only for the 2023 models, and apologized for the misunderstanding.As far as I’m concerned, I’m still owed the wall charger.

My wife and I had been searching for an all-white GLE 63S for years. Currently, I own a black 2022 GLE coupe 63S and we called various dealerships, but only Calstar Motors had one. As soon as we entered, we received exceptional treatment, as we should have. This is my third Mercedes purchase, and my last two experiences with other dealerships were terrible. We visited Calstar Motors a few hours before closing, and they made everything easy and hassle-free. Scheduled my car service for 9:30 am. I was told service A would take 2 hours. My car was not ready until after 4 pm! I had to walk to pick up my daughter from school and also missed an afternoon appointment. Nothing was fixed or even looked at after keeping the car for more than a month. I know this because they had a blank look when I asked about if the issues were looked at or resolved. The car was not touched for 3 and 1/2 weeks. After multiple calls and messages for updates, I was repeated the same lines as day one. This is a long story but in summary, no resolution! After picking up the car, a new issue has started.

By far the WORST car buying experience I’ve ever had. Hamlet Karapetian, who also happens to be the Fleet Manager was my sales person. From the first encounter he was extremely unprofessional, rude, condescending, and has not even an ounce of customer service etiquette or basic manners.He tried to rush me when inspecting the vehicle, spoke on the phone during the entire test-drive angrily making hand gestures to me as to where I should turn, lied about a vehicle I was interested being sold when in reality it was still on the lot, he did not explain any features of the vehicle or how to operate/connect to them, attempted to rush me through the paperwork, when I stated “please do not try to rush me, I want to read what I am about to sign” he angrily replied, “just sign it, you probably won’t understand any of it!”, when the purchase was finally complete he stated the car had been washed and detailed inside which was another lie — there was dust all over the car and stains on the dash, cupholder, and seats. The car’s package sheet lists all-season floor mats as being included, get into the car and they are not present. When I mentioned this to Hamlet he argues and says “no that’s not included”. I told him to review the package sheet and he refused. I marched back into Anton the Finance Manager’s office and had him verify what I stated and he then filled out an order form so that they could be ordered for me.Anton is the only reason I give 1 star. Anton treated us with respect, he kindly and patiently explained every paper I signed and answered every question my mother and I had. His actions alone although were not enough to salvage this experience. I will never buy from Calstar Motors again and I will make sure all of my friends and family stay far from this dealership!

Understaffed dealership. This is the second time our new Mercedes-Benz gets broken down before a year of use. After calling to get the car towed in no one gave us a call back to let us know they already had tbe car, we had to call for 2 days to get a loner and after 3 days we were able to get a loner. We left 3 messeges to the service manager and he never called us back to help us get our car checked or a loner faster. Very bad service from that dealership. Also not enough loners for emergency services.

The following are his exact words and recent experience with Jora.I rarely ever leave reviews unless the service was either absolutely amazing or very bad. However, my experience with Jora at this dealer was BEYOND amazing! Ive leased and financed many cars over the years, whether it was through brokers or directly with the dealer. Recently I was in the market to lease a new vehicle as the current lease on my vehicle was about to end, and I really needed to find a great deal fast, get it done and be on my way. Bad Experiance with my 250 GLB service. A simple issue with the noisy AC fan, developed to a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday fiasco, wher each and every one of these day, I got a call telling me the car need to stay one more day. I didnt authorize any charge for the repair of the fan, if it is not falling under warranty. The problem estimated to be leavs trapped in the airway, that will resault with a cleaning fee, which ended beaing the cause of the noise. So the car spent 4 days dealing with the recalls ONLY, which I didnt asked for. At the end of the 3rd day (Wednesday), a replacement service Manager (the original one was on a day off), called me and claimed it just occured to him there is a missing part pretaining to one of the recalles. At this point I had it and told him I wish to come pick up the car the same day, telling him to forget about this recall. He LIED to me saiying it is impossible because the car is open, waiting for the missing part. I discovered in the next day, that part was a Lable under to Hood, whcih they ended up not putting after all. When ifinally came to pick up the car, I have asked the service Manager to perform the leaves cleaning free of charge as a courtesy, to which the Service Manager Supervisor said it will take ANAOTHER FULL DAY to do, not willing to accommodate and give it a priority. I left the dealership at this point.It seems the service managers does not have a good communication with the actual service technicians, and have a minimum idea of the time span involved. Get your car from CarMax, not here. Its been a terrible experience. I bought a car here on 9/23/23 (a Saturday). After driving it about a day, I noticed that every time I would go to accelerate from a stop, the car would always jerk. 9/25 was my birthday. On 9/26, I brought it in and expressed my concerns to the salesman. He was just like oh youre just not used to how it drives yet. I let it go, but by 9/28 I was like nah there is something wrong with this car. Its not driving like a luxury car should. So, I took it back to return it or to try to trade it in or something. But of course I was told, theres no cooling off period in California and there is nothing we can do, and my favorite, maybe if you wouldve brought it back on Monday (my birthday) we couldve done something. On 10/5 (less than 2 weeks after buying it) a message comes up on the display while Im on the freeway saying that I need to turn my engine off because there is a coolant problem. I tried to take it in for service on 10/7, but they said there were only oil change guys there that day, so I brought it back on 10/9. They said they needed to keep the car because the error message that came up was a more serious one, but they didnt have any loaner cars available. So I had to come out of pocket for the next 2 days on Uber rides. I explained to the salesman who sold the car to me what happened, and it seemed that he did do what he could to get the repairs sped along, so I was only without a car for 2 days, but still, it was a huge inconvenience. I understand, things happen, but for me to have to come out of pocket for transportation on a car that was less than 2 weeks old when that error message popped up, is crazy. And I know they will expect their full car payment too. The advisor sent me a text at 10 this morning and asked if I was satisfied, and I replied right away and said I was not for the reason I just mentioned. And as of 7p when Im writing this, I have heard no response. What is the point of sending that text if you arent going to respond? Maybe he just hasnt gotten to it yet? When I got my first Mercedes, I got it from CarMax, and I loved it, and they have a 30 day policy to return vehicles for whatever reason. This whole experience definitely makes me want to just get my next car from CarMax.

Let me start with the service manager, Sam. He is just amazing. He has a lot on his plate, but he always takes care of his customer. The reason I’m putting four out of five is because I had a hard time to get a loaner on emergency basis.My original advisor Daniel said I have to wait 2-3 days to get a loaner.However, Sam assigned me to Gilbert, my new advisor, who made sure I get a loaner later that day.

The appointment setup was very quick, I was called to set it up, the day of the app I was received and in less than 15 min I was driving out in a loaner while they were taking care of my car. Yesterday I took my MB A220 car to Glendale Calstar Motors – it was the second appointment for the same problem. The trunk of my car didn’t work properly – it supposed to be automatically opened by clicking the key or pressing the handle on the trunk, instead trunk stay unlock, but I have to push it up and even after that it goes down. Because of that, twice my forehead was wounded. During the first appointment close to the end of the working day, the adjuster called me requesting one extra day to keep the car for fixing the problem. As I didn’t have that option, I went to pick up the car, planning to make another appointment in the close future. While I was waiting to get the key and paperwork “for doing nothing”, a service technician approached me and told that nothing wrong with trunk. I explained what is wrong with trunk, but he just left. The second appointment was on May 17, 2023. The Adjuster was Noel, very polite and nice guy. At the end of the day, I got a call from Noel, that the car will be ready next day afternoon. I was badly surprised as I got my car’s trunk the way as it was before. I asked Noel that I want to see the manager. After 15 minutes a technician came, check the trunk, asked to wait 10 more minutes, drove the car, probably service area. After 10 minutes, Noel came to the waiting area and informed me that the trunk was fixed. This time it was really fixed. Trunk worked perfect – only 10 minutes was required to fix it – that was a “geniuses” solution comparing with “hard work” of staff during two appointments more than 2 working day period. I was happy and the same time I was very-very disappointed.

I have been having a very bad experience with the customer service after buying my new car from here. It was so easy to talk to someone in the buying process, but as soon as I signed and bought the car, it has been so hard to get in touch with these people about all the issues I have been having with my new car. I have only had the car for (4) months now and the problems started within (2) months. The crazy part is that this car was Certified Pre-Owned, which I thought meant every single thing was checked and noted as good. I recently took it in for them to fixed everything, which they did, however, I get my car back and notice (2) hours later that there is a rip in my driver seat now. Now service is blaming sales and I cant get in touch with sales. So I am frustrated and have been wasting time, energy and gas worrying about all these issues.

I had scheduled an appointment on Saturday morning 01/28/23 and was assisted by Andy, my service advisor. Andy was professional and an extremely considerate individual to work with during my visit. I have been visiting Cal Star Motors Glendale location for several years now, not necessarily out of loyalty, but because I had no other option. However, I have noticed that the quality of their customer service has been deteriorating over time. Despite my efforts to schedule a service appointment by leaving multiple voicemails, I have not been able to get a hold of the service center. Its frustrating to receive no response or to have appointments cancelled without any prior notice. I question the purpose of having a service center in Glendale if they dont prioritize answering customer calls. Although I have received emails indicating management changes and efforts to improve their services, I have yet to see any significant improvements in the quality of their customer service.

He was prompt and very efficient in processing my service order upon my arrival, ordered me a Lyft to take me home while my car was being serviced, and the service was completed an hour ahead of schedule. The financing department worked diligently to get us the lowest possible percentage on the loan. The only thing I regret is that I rushed with my choice of a vehicle. Not the fault of the dealership, I should have done better research on the vehicle. I purchased a used Nissan and after my purchase I noticed that the previous owner had spray pointed the rims and logos to make it look blacked out. Trying to remove the paint has been a problem, but again thats on me for not paying attention. Next time, Im going for a Mercedes. You get what you pay for. Although the brand MBZ is great, this dealership is the exact opposite. I feel sorry for the employees who were there on the occasions that I was dropping and picking up my car, namely Sam and Daniel but the management needs to know and make some changes to their staffing. HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO HELP WITH SERVICE VISITS. I waited close to 30 minutes before anyone asked me what I was there for. This happened both at dropping off and picking up our car for a regular maintenance service. Did I mention that I tried calling to make the appointment to bring the car in 3 times on different days to finally get someone to pick up their phones. For 4 years since I got my car it was having the same issue. I brought my car to this dealership multiple times to understand what’s going on. I was told that if the issue is not duplicated by them, then they cant fix it. I am scared to drive this car and I had many incidents. The last time I brought they found the problem AFTER 4 YEARS!!!
